Person at counter was very well mannered, answered all my questions. Gave me a price over the phone and did not change it when I got there. Taking my sons car back to have air conditioner looked at. I felt I could trust this place. Just took his car to dealership to have looked for $80, 000 miles and there was nothing wrong before I took it. They wanted to charge $2,600 because they said oil seals needed to be replace for leaks. Car started to over heat two days later. Took to my cousin’s mechanic close by, he said someone messed with the water pump area and switched things around to cause the pump to give out. It cost me $380 to fix plus the $200 dealer charges to look at it. Mechanic showed me what I needed to see if the car was leaking oil, or if seals were going wrong. Car was clean. No leaks any where. Trust is important for me, and I fell this location will be a place of integrity and honesty. Going back!

Everyone is friendly, patient, and accommodating to my needs the day I had my truck serviced. I also had all my previous vehicle’s service there which was just as pleasant then as this time. I will continue to have all my vehicle’s work done there. I wasn’t rushed like at other places which always makes me wonder if they actually took time with my vehicle. Great job!

I had an appointment at 8am I didnt get out of there until 10am. There was only one car being Service when I got there. Then the guy wanted to charge me for extra oil and filter when I purchased the oil change through groupon. The place was dirty they need to clean it.

I am from Carlsbad, but made a vehicle purchase pre-inspection appointment for a Saturday at this Meineke location near the private seller. This is one of the few full-service auto repair centers near Van Buren and the 215 offering Saturday business hours. That was a big plus! Rick and the team were professional and expedient. They juggled several customers at once and were none the less thorough and communicated estimated lengths of time for requested services so I could keep a schedule. They made recommendations on what service would be requested within the next 1-2 years and showed the seller and I signs of wear which helped me negotiate a fair selling price. The pre-inspection service was a fair price among quotes I had received elsewhere and helped even with the bank loan process. I would recommend this location and use them again in the future if I were closer.

Been trying to get my tires changed since noon. Kept calling would be told that theyll look to see if they have my tires and theyd call right back. They never got back to me had to call them after closing were they told me they never got to it and dont know my tires size. Time was of the essence and they werent straight with me and waisted my day

I’ve been coming here for about two years. They’ve done major repairs on my car, I’ve gotten a new engine and my axle and frame fixed after a accident. They’ve always been friendly, honest and got the job done. I consistently come here for oil changes. I trust them, I wouldn’t go anywhere else :)

This was my first time at Meineke And I would definitely recommend them to others! They were very friendly from the first phone call all the way through to finishing the work on my car. Before they did any work they were able to explain everything in detail to me on what they would do or maybe would have to do. Before they actually did any work they brought me out to look at the car and show me the condition of the brakes and the rotors so I knew they were not lieing to me about The condition of the brakes. Also the place was very clean.

Recently tried this place out and now they are just not answering the phones for 3 days now. Not sure what is going on anymore. We have taken multiple cars here and Pete is a solid person that knows what he is doing but for whatever reason he isnt being listened to about how the business should be ran. When you have technicians that are paid by the flat rate, they have no reason to want to work faster to get stuff done. They just milk the clock!!!! w hour labor jobs taking 8 days in the shop to complete? Having to go get parts myself because you want to charge me $1300 for the part when everywhere.... and I mean everywhere has it for $364..... I just dont understand the mind set. Charging for a diagnostic when the other location of Meineke are doing free diagnostics??? I wont be attempting to contact or refer business to this location any longer.

I was welcomed by a friendly person!!! I didn’t have an appointment so it was going take an hour or so. I was a little discouraged because I know there’s places I can go to get an oil change and get in and out in less than 15 minutes. I felt encouraged to stay because they do so much more than just an oil change! So I had no problem waiting. They offered me a space that I could do my work in including Internet access. Delicious coffee, convenient store and even a Mexican restaurant next door if I was hungry. Great location, and incredible staff. I felt well taken care of!Thanks guys!

I drove to work the other night. The car was making a terrible grinding sound. The car needs brakes. I just knew there was rotor damage. I called my wife and told her.I work nights. So when I left work I went directly to Meineke. The manager there Rick was great. I was correct. There was rotor damage. Plus the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. Also, the oil pressure switch needed to be replaced.I called my wife and she was not trying to hear it. Not a problem. Rick was like “Don’t worry”. I went in for an oil change and through their inspection of my engine, noticed an oil leak, not a bad one right now but could have been, or maybe some damage to my engine. Rick, the counter guy, was very explainable in telling me that it could lead to worse if not taken care of . Also, I knew I was going to need new rotars upon my last brake job. He noticed those also. Made an appt for the next day at 8 am...was told before noon but actually done by 230. Not bad, and he also gave me 50$ off. I have my oil reminder in my window and will keep up with it. Absolutely the worst. I have never dealt with a lesser professional then the current manager. Heres my story:Saturday 6/20/2020, my 2017 Sentra decided to break down on the 215 about 4pm. I call AAA to have it towed to the nearest shop which happened to be Meineke. I called ahead and there manager said he would be there until 6pm. My surprise when we get there at 540pm and everythings locked up. So, I leave my car in the lot until Monday morning. I arrive at 730am Monday, drop off my keys with the manager, sign for the diagnostic ($100) and go get breakfast. An hour later, the manager calls with results of the diagnostic... transmission. I go back to discuss options with the manager. $3500 for a used transmission with 10k miles on it sounded steep but I dont have a choice... or do I?( Mistake 2) The manager explains that they usually take some money down on jobs like this and I have him my debit card and he charges $1000. I tell him I will probably not finance the rest of it. I leave and call a friend and my friend says there dealership may take it back as a trade and I could get a new car. I immediately call the manager back and tell him to cancel the repairs. Now its been about 20 minutes and this guy starts yelling at me. He says that he is going to charge me $100 for the diagnostic plus an extra $50. Im like whatever, just refund the rest of my money and Ill have my car towed.I get back to the shop and this guy blows up! He says instead of $150, hes going to charge me $1000 for the diagnostic. I tell him hes out of his mind and he just continues to yell and tell me to get out. That he is going to lose his job and its my fault. I tell him, dont worry, I have an attorney ( which I do) and I can call the bank so Im not worried about getting my money. He continues to yell about me being so calm, and that he hated me being so passive aggressive. I ask for a number for his boss and he refuses to give it to me. I leave as he berates me (some of which I recorded for my protection).I make necessary phone calls and go about my day. Throughout the day I try to call back to see if my car is put together and he just hangs up on me until about 4pm. Then he answers and just says your car is ready, come get it of course when I get there they are closed up with my car inside the shop.I return the next morning at 730am and call before I walk in. He answers and hangs up several times before saying come get it and hangs up. Another customer walks up and he unlocks the door so I run up to get inside. He never says a word to me, but he pulls my car up to the curb and throws the keys on the seat. When I walk out he locks the door.Just the most unprofessional, immature, ignorant, adult Ive ever had to deal with.My advice...never use this shop. I would love to get some media and press behind this shop manager. He does a poor job of representing his company.

This place is horrible. Went to have our brakes checked that were recently done. Was told they were all good no problems. Also decided to get an oil change. I wondered why it was taking them several hours to get back the car they said they would be done in 45 minutes. The next day we realized our truck was leaking oil badly. Before we could take it back unfortunately our truck got stolen. We did gratefully recover it. Then we find out from our Auto Insurance, Meineke stated are brakes needed to be replaced. So disappointed and will not be returning. Wanted others to know the type of business they are running. So it doesnt happen to anyone else

Terrible service and customer service from an employee named Carlos. I took my car here for an oil change. Not sure why I had to wait over an hour for just an oil change, but after I got it back my car started making a weird noise. I called them back to let them know and they said to bring it in so they can look at it. I brought it in and all he could say was “that’s just the sound Volkswagens make” I made it clear it was not making that noise before I brought it here. He tried to show me how they did the oil change and ended up taking parts not even related to an oil change off and said “oops not that” and failed to put it back on properly. i asked when the manager would be in and he said the manager stopped working there as of a few days ago (what a coincidence) and that he’s the manager now. He said to come in the next day to have one of his techs look at it, why would I come in to waste more of my time and hear that that’s the sounds Volkswagens make? I just got this car and it never made a sound prior to taking my car to them. I had a full inspection done when I got the car because I’ve had car problems before and I will get a full inspection after taking it here. I am a single mom and I ride around with my 3 year old son and if anything happens that can be traced back to them I will sue this place.

Staffs are very polite and professional.They inspected the issues I had and gave me free no obligation price which was competitive to other places I visited. They repaired issues related to oil leak Within the time schedule. Also they provided ride to/from my home. My car seems ok, no more leaking,. I’m happy with service I got from them. The team was excellent in finding the cause of my Tahoe problems. What I thought was a bad catalytic converter turned out to be a bad battery. The front staff was outstanding and helpful, however, I found it astonishing that it would take 3 hours to replace a battery and change the oil. The cost was quite high compared to others, but again the front staff was professional and engaging.

They did an amazing job on my car. Very professional, even stayed after hours to help me out with my radiator and motor mounts. Will always come back. Rare good people that work here Mike is a rare good manager helping out people who really need it (:

The cheap oil change is the hook to get you to come this place but beware long waits they took an hour and half to change my oil just to take apart my car and try to find “something “ just so that they can get more money out of you they made a list of over $1000 dollars on Petty repairs like saying they had to flush the coolant and flush the brake fluid even tho my brakes work in perfect conditions. Then after I refuse to get any additional services the guy become a jerk . Horrible customer service experience and over price labor.

The staff was extremely pleasant and polite. However, after planning to have only my brake pads fixed and return a couple hours later things went downhill. I never received a call that the work was completed. I was told it would take two hours. After FOUR hours I called and told them I was on my way since it was closing time and I figured they should be done. After I had to call them they now told me there is a problem with my car. They told me I have to have much more work done. I felt strongly I didn’t want to give them my service. No work had been done on my car for the last four hours! They completely refused to put my car back together and allow me to take my business elsewhere. I felt my vehicle was held hostage and I was forced to give them my business. I then tried to use a Groupon and they refused to honor the price! They stated they had “already done so much” but still wouldn’t give me this discount. I feel sick that I ended up paying them such a large amount of money. I wouldn’t allow anyone I care about to use a company that treats their customers this way. Please- do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

Whenever I have car trouble I go here. They are fair with their prices, and their work is always superb. I highly recommend them, for not only do they do the work, they explain exactly what’s wrong with your car in laymen terms.

Went hear last week I thought I had a oil leak took my car hear found out it was my timing sensors they took me into the shop to show me and they got it fixed quickly and told me I need other work done to it but I waited till Friday to take it in and get fixed they got me financed so I could get the work done on my car thank you guys so much my car fills like a new car now!

I want to start by saying that the staff working there were absolutely wonderful, however the reason why I leave such a terrible rating was because I felt scammed. Oil change on Groupon for save some money, however I was startled when I was given a fee of $11 for .25 of a quart of oil. I asked if I can bring in a quart of oil myself of the same brand only for the manager to tell me that thats not possible. This company is trying to BAIT people for a promotion that is not worth 2 hours waiting for. Its an oil change and I had an appointment but the company charged the same amount a 15 minute oil change spot would. I could continue with this but hopefully management reads this and doesnt give me the response copy and pasted on other bad reviews and actually make a change.

My car came out worse than it was when it went in. I went in for an oil change and they messed with the spark plugs and now my car shakes. Also it has the check engine light on and did not have that when I took the car in. The car was shaking as I was driving to my destination after I left Meineke but I had an appointment to go to so I couldn’t go back.I am very disappointed because I am too nervous to drive my car because of how shaky it is. I don’t know why my light is on either.

It would have been a better review if they hadnt been dishonest. Purchased a groupon deal for 5qts full synthetic. Looked up my car info to double check oil needed and it was 4.9 qts. Once there I was told my car took 6qts so was charged an additional $22. When I asked if he was sure he said he checked and the computer is never wrong. I had somewhere to be so didnt have time to argue but definitely wont be back.

This place is horrible. Do not ever skip reading or ignore their reviews. I use to do that with a lot of places thinking oh just bitter customers and with some companies yes that can be the case but with this company its not. They ruined my perfectly running car. I came in for a radiator and they failed to do a block test before changing the radiator. So they did not see that my head gasket was broken. They went ahead and changed my radiator and caused my car to over heat. Mind you my car never over heated before. I use to drive it to mexico and back. The only reason I know that it was negligence on their part is because my dad is a mechanic and he came in with me after the incident to ask them what procedures they followed. My dad was out of town on vacation so I made the stupid mistake of not waiting on his return and taking it here thinking It would be fine. It was a nightmare I was there from 2pm to 10pm at night. I tried driving my car home and not even 2 miles and my car was over heating bad. Long story short I had to call the bureau of automotive repair on them. This company is trying to charge me 925 dollars on a repair they did not do right. They messed up something else in my car that was perfectly fine to begin with. Im currently still working with the bureau so that I can get this amount dismissed. My car has been sitting in the driveway for 4 months already and if it wasnt because of my Dad gifting me his car I would of been carless. Please avoid yourselfs the headache and the hole in your pocket. Go to a professional. Mind you the mechanics had no name tag on their uniforms. And many other violations.

I had a full synthetic oil change here and got a great price for it. My only issue was my knob to turn headlights on and off was broken, which I didn’t notice until it was getting dark and I went to turn them on. I think the mechanic accidentally pushed the knob in too hard and I had to reach my hand inside small compartment to push the knob back through.

I went to the shop with 1 problem, and drove off with 4 problems with my car, and coolant spraying out the bottom and If I wanted to get it fixed, it would be over 1000 dollars. Smh

Had been to 3 other spots to get some work done on my truck and they all let me down. This spot did the job right and accommodated my schedule in a pinch. Highly recommend and love this place.

I went in Monday to get my oil changed at the shop in Allesandro in Riverside but they were very busy with 6 ahead of me. I made an appointment for the next day at 8AM. (Hours posted in window are 7:30-6:00). I arrived at 8AM on Tuesday and the business was locked up with one of the employees waiting to be let in. The key holder arrived at 8:10 and checked me in. I asked for the synthetic oil change & tire rotation package. He took my key and went out to the shop area. I sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes then got up to use the restroom. Both restrooms were very dirty with towels and trash on the floors and dirty toilets and sinks. I looked in the garage area and saw that my car was up on the rack with all 4 tires off. No one was around it or appeared to be working on it. I waited and watched for 5-10 minutes and finally saw one of the mechanics coming out of a tool truck parked in the adjacent parking lot and come back over toward my vehicle. I sat back down for another 15 minutes then got up again to see what was taking so long. My car was still on the rack with wheels off and no one around it. (I’m still the only customer there at close to 9AM) The key holder guy saw me peering out the window & came in & asked if I needed anything. He took me out and showed me where my passenger rear shock was leaking & said I should replace it & my air filter was dirty too. I agreed to replace the air filter but didn’t have time to replace shocks. Another customer came in and had a 9AM appointment, got checked in and sat down. Key holder guy came in & did my paperwork and I paid for service at 9:15 when he told me my car was finished & would be pulled up to the door shortly. I waited another 20 minutes beforeMy car was brought to me.I’m very disappointed with this experience! I will not be returning to this meineke location EVER because of the sloppy customer service and dirty facilities.I have been a long time customer of meineke in Yorba Linda and have never had to wait more than 30 minutes for an oil change & tire rotation package. 1 hour and 40 minutes is unacceptable, especially when I was the only customer for the first hour.

Ive been taking my cars to this meineke for 10+ years and never once did I think in was being taken til I took my 2015 Chevy Cruze there. So far the money I put into my car to get it fixed has to get refixed a year later because they put parts in that werent matching my car and when I call them all I get is it has no warranty to it. So your telling me Ive given you close to $8000 to fix my car in the last two years not to have any warranties and now have to find a honest mechanic that wont take me when I trusted you. Nah boo Im over this place and being taken. I will never trust another Meineke to do my service again. Now Im sitting at another mechanic having the same problem fixed that was only but fixed less than two years ago. FYI a water pump should last more than a year and seven month.

My brothers car was making a loud squealing noise when turning the steering wheel to the left and a little to the right. The sound was alarmingly unbearable. His check engine light was on also. I took the car here on a whim one day and they took a look at the car right away. Michael (the Latino version) took a test drive with me in the car to identify the sound I was hearing.As we made a few turns, he heard the sound and instantly knew what it was. When we went back to the shop he pulled the check engine light codes and showed me that it was my O2 sensor. Michael (the Latino version) wrote up a quote for lower control arms and the joint balls and gave me the O2 sensor repair free because he couldnt get the part at the time of the fix. I got a ride home for free which I thought was a nice touch. They repaired my brothers vehicle flawlessly and even showed me the old parts with an explanation of why they were no good.Michael (the Caucasian version)--I believe hes the owner--is very pleasant to work with. I feel he has always given me fair pricing and treated my cars well. Ive been back to this Meineke several times and always got pretty good service except when I had to come back multiple times in one day...They thought something from the shop was left in my car. Michael was very apologetic though a discount for my next service would have been nice (haha)I brought in my own newer car for regular maintenance and they took good care of my vehicle. They found that my brakes needed to be replaced (I heard the squeaking but assumed it was normal) and Michael (the owner) brought me out and showed me the discrepancy. Michael (the owner) was very informative regarding preventive maintenance and scheduled maintenance. He was also very honest with me that he felt uncomfortable doing certain services because hes shop didnt have the tools to do the more intricate internal stuff. I have a 2012 Ford FiestaThey can get pretty busy sometimes, but theyll get to you in a timely manner. Bring a book and/or a charged phone or tablet. Its a great place to take your car and I highly recommend it.

HORRIBLE!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my car in for a routine oil change before taking a road trip from South CA to Oregon. After driving about 8 hours on I-5, my car broke down in Redding, CA. Apparently these asshats at Meineke forgot to put my oil cap back on, and they did not put my airfilter back in after taking it out. Oil was EVERYWHERE...all over the exterior, under the hood, and all under my car. There was only about an inch of oil left in my car out of 5 quarts. I had to pay for another oil change, a new air filter, and a detailed car wash just so I could get back on the road.

Please people be careful going here I went in to have an oil change only i came out with a bill of almost $1200. My check engine light came on the next day I called and the owner the only guy that takes payments told it could be multiple things and how much it would be awful service and mechanics I took it to the dealer come to find out nothing was wrong they messed with my sensors. Please be careful when going here women dont fo bu yourself.

Overcharged for oil. Lack of support. Run down building.Got an oil change using Groupon, but when I took it to the mechanic a month later he found I was at least 2 qts low on oil and with a full inspection found I was not leaking oil. When i called Meinekee in regards to being charged for more than I was given, I was simply informed they could not help me.

Customer service is horrible. Walked in and stood in front of one of the workers for 5 minutes before he acknowledged me. Then after he was done inputting customer information he asked how he could help me. I was told it would be an hour and a half to two hours. At the two hour mark I heard the store manager calling someone to see if they had the brake pads in stock. They are very shady. Not trust worthy and unethical. This is my only and last time coming here and I will be complaining to their corporate offices.

New management is making this location much better than before!

Do not go here for anything, especially for people that do not know much about cars. They were supposed to do a tune up, they did not change the spark plugs. Then they start finding another $400 worth of repairs on the car and the guy behind the counter really got rude when we declined. And because they charged almost $400 for a tune up, they threw in a free oil change which they forgot to do, but said they did until we realized there was no sticker on the window. And then they raced to get it done at closing time. Additionally they lied when they said the tune up costs so much because theres a lot of labor that goes into getting the spark plugs out. Which was a lie. Bottom line, check all their reviews - the majority on yelp, Facebook, Google, the better business bureau - are horrible.

Mike is a nice guy but he will over charge on even the simplest repairs. I needed a timing chain tentioner replaced and he charged me 150 for parts and labor... The part is 25 bucks at autozone and its like 45 min job. And dont finance!! He swindles you in by churching it up and gets you approved but doesnt show you the full contract. So once you go home and log into the lenders website and see your contract you realize you just signed your soul to the devil. If you take anything away from this its dont trust a mechanic shop. 95% of the time you can do the repairs on your own. Sure it will take more time but youre saving more money. I feel like an ass but Ive leaned my lesson. Heed my advice! And mike if youre reading this I understand you have to make money but dont prowl on inexperienced and mechanically ignorant people. You did a good job on my car but you cant take advantage of people.

If you value your time, money and car I strongly recommend you stay away from here. their useless and even the owner is a mess. I would truly give it negative stars if possible.

I went in on 7-10-15 to have repairs done on my vehicle in order to pass a smog that I would be doing at another facility. I spoke to Mike the manager and he told me that with all the repairs he was charging me for, my car would no longer have any check engine lights and that after driving it a hundred miles it would pass smog. I waited over four and a half hours for my car to be repaired and I was charged $1,205.00 to my debit card but was given a receipt that was only for $210.00 dollars and had some other card holders name on it.. Somehow only $60.00 of the twelve hundred dollars i was charged was for parts and the rest was in labor. I spent the next three days driving and took it to be smogged. The people at the smog test center let me know that the car was not properly repaired and was still giving the same check engine light codes. They suggested I contact the BAR. I took the car back to meineke and Mike said they would make the repairs. I spent another several hours there waiting for my car to be repaired correctly then I was given no invoice or paperwork when it was completed and was told to drive it yet another hundred miles... three hundred fifty two miles and three smog pre tests later, my car is still giving the exact same check engine codes that I spent over twelve hundred dollars paying to repair. I contacted Mike again and he said yet again to bring it in for him to (not) make the same repairs. I will be disputing charges, and contacting not only the bar but my attorney . This man is running a SCAM!

I sent my chevy 1500 truck in for an electrical issues truck runs fine engines strong on has 111k miles only thing it had was was surging and dying there trying to tell me that the engine is bad and needs to be replace I been a mechanic for 15yrs only reason I sent it to them is cause they have the machines to hook a car for a bumper to bumper diagnostic I dont this is insane never going there ever again

These guys did an oil change for me and totally screwed me over. First off they left a bunch of oil all over the top of my car as if they were throwing it around. Then they busted the suspension support for my hood and now that I went to do my oil today I found out they stripped out my drain plug bolt. Oh and it took them 6 hours to do my oil change even though I had called a day ahead to bring in my car. Not worth the savings and honestly dont trust them to fix my problem if they cant even do a simple oil change, incompetent and incapable stay away if you want you car for the long run.

Had trouble with tire pressure sensor in my car while traveling through this area. Found this location on Google and called them and they told me to bring the car right over. They tested the tires and resolved the problem with no charge. Would definitely recommend them.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Atrocious service, lying owner and huge waste of money and time.I did four struts/shocks replacements at Meineke #2227 early this February. This November, less than a year and only few thousand miles later, I started hearing rear noises again.I went to a Goodyear and they informed me that my rear struts were broken. The four struts that I replaced in February should have lasted for 50,000 miles and not need replacement so soon.I returned to the first Meineke #2227. The owner denied that the rear struts were broken and attempts to persuade me to replace the four strut mounts instead.Confused, I called the central Meineke customer service line and they told me to take the car to another Meinike for further diagnosis. I went to nearest Meineke in Corora (more than 20 miles away) and was given a similar diagnosis to the Goodyear autoshop that I needed to replace rear struts, the very stuts that I had recently replace.Basically, the owner at the Meineke #2227 location is a lier and at best, their folks awful mechanics. Neither the owner of this location or Meineke corporate would offer any type of compensation. All in all, I wasted more than 10 hours waiting (including three visits to Meineke auto stores) and will never trust Meineke or this location.

DO NOT GO TO! SCAMMERS!This place is a big joke. I walked in 2 days in a row to get an alignment which they had a sale on for $20. Ended up waiting 3 hours to have them claim I need $2000+ worth of work before it can be done. Not knowing I know a thing or two about cars I asked to see what is was that I all needed fixed. I noticed several of my cars parts were tampered with including my BRAKE LINES claiming my calipers were shot with brake fluid everywhere and my control arms were about to break and my tires will fly off. Unbenounced to them My control arms and calibers were replaced less than a years before with no problems what so ever. I am very good with cars and could tell right away what they were showing me were not broken/damaged at all. My main concern is that a freaking tampered with my brakes! brake fluid all over my tire claiming it was busted for a while now it looks like, little did they know I had just rotated my tires a few hours before with the original tire dry as a bone with no brake fluid on it. SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS!

Changed ownership and prices are higher than competition!

Worst service ever....went in for a 30 dollar wheel alignment i was told i need ball joints so i ended up paying over 300 for alignment and ball joints and now my car pull worse then it had before i took it to them... went back 3 times just to get jerk around by management....dont let me forget each time i went back i had to wait between 4 to 8 hours....
