The great reviews about this place on Google are true! We have been looking for living room furniture since July with no luck. Delivery dates were nuts and most places were out of inventory. I had decided that after months of looking and finding items that were either not in stock or crazy long delivery dates or worse, no delivery dates to be determined, that this would be the last place I would try and if unsuccessful we would go ahead and just order online, without seeing or trying out in person. Im so happy that we gave this place a try. Jennie was our sales person and she got right down to business with us, letting us know what was available, what wasnt, and firm knowledge on when we could expect delivery. I dont know how she did it, but we were able to receive our furniture today! Same day delivery, pretty much unheard of during these covid times. Currently, I am relaxing on our beautiful new couch while writing this review. Our furniture is beautiful and I cannot wait to return for additional accent pieces. They have so many beautiful items and reasonably priced. I highly recommend and will definitely return!

We went to Plantation Furniture in early January to look for several things while supporting a locally owned business. We drove well out of our way to go here. I liked the fact that we were not met at the door by lurking sales people. We did meet Connie and she was helpful and pleasant, but didnt hover.We found a dining table and chairs we liked and bought them. While at the checkout, the lady who appeared to be in charge (I assume the owner) was anything but friendly. We were told that our table would be ordered and they didnt have them in stock. We were told they would update us on delivery, likely in mid-February.From then on things didnt go well. Anytime we wanted an update, my wife had to call. We were told at one point that it was on the truck on its way to Houston. After several more weeks my wife called again and was told it would be the mid to end of March. Midway through March my wife called again and was told that the chairs and bench were in, but the table apparently was never ordered. Now it was going to be more like June/July. We then asked if we could get the floor model table so we didnt have to wait. After another phone call they said yes we could and I asked what that would cost, assuming since it was the floor model and had been there for several months they would come off the price. We were told no, it would be what we paid. Very frustrated I then asked if since we have been told different things about the delivery of the pieces, would they at least deliver it to us, for which they told me the delivery charge. I asked if they would waive it considering the circumstances and after checking (I assume with the owner) we were told no, they would not waive it. I paid it just so we could get the furniture.After it was delivered my wife called and asked about getting an additional chair to go with the table. We are still awaiting a call back, which has been 5 days now.They can run their business any way they choose, which apparently is not to keep paid customers updated on their furniture, telling different stories about the status of the furniture and then holding a hard line when they could have made a small gesture which would have made us feel better about really what has been a very disappointing experience.We will NOT be doing any more business with them and would NOT recommend them.

Don’t buy from here, I repeat don’t buy from here! I spent nearly $3,000 with Plantation Furniture, and got some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced on the back end of my sale from a small mom and pop retailer. The manager is unsympathetic and basically a glorified clerk and from what I can tell the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, because the owner doesn’t seem very interested in doing the right thing once they have your money.Either way if you’re in need of furniture, take your business somewhere else. There are plenty of small business retailers who care about their customers, and are more than willing to do the right thing when the situation calls for it.

My family has been shopping at Plantation Furniture for at least 20 years, and we have made many purchases in that time. We’ve always been very pleased with every item, and we keep returning because of the high quality furniture and great customer service.Our most recent purchase was a reclining leather sectional for our living room. We’ve been really happy with it, and were upset when we discovered our dog had chewed through all the power cables underneath one of the recliners & it was frozen in place. I contacted the store, and they were able to quickly order the parts necessary to repair it. And when the parts arrived, they sent a couple of their wonderful employees over & had it back in working order in minutes. They really went above and beyond to take care of us.

I was looking for a discontinued chair to match one I have & called several stores but THIS girl suggested I buy two to match since I couldn’t find just the one. No one else even suggested that & then she went out of her way to find 2 that met my criteria. Madi s a super sales woman and so friendly & helpful. Hard to find that kind of help these days. She gets an A+

I am loving my Bernhardt sofa. It sits great and looks great. Jennie helped me pick out this sofa. We had good buying experience. The delivery guys where great. Be back when I need more furniture.

Music started at some point after we entered, which was about an hour after the store opened.A sales person greeted us and provided an easy-at-a-glance “pricing guide” because they were offering 20% off white prices. She explained blue prices were final. She checked on us during our time there, but she didn’t hover.We didn’t find anything we really liked that were both simple, practical, unique, comfortable, durable, cat friendly (no legs), yet higher quality.No bar stools, either.

I love shopping locally. Plantation Furniture has been wonderful to work with. I loked for 6 months at many furniture stores before purchasing. Their selection is great and the ordering was a breeze. I ordered 2 custom couches and 2 custom arm chairs. I was given an estimate of 6-8 weeks. Everything came in right at 6 weeks. Delivery was fast and reasonably priced. I initially had an issue with one of my new couches (manufacturers defect) and Daniel worked quickly to get it taken care of. Excellent customer service in my book. Other larger stores would have probably blown me off. My living room now looks fabulous!!!!

High quality furniture with the customer service to match. Everyone from the sales associate to the cashier to the delivery guys were kind, courteous, competent, and professional. I needed a small touch-up on a cabinet I ordered and (when the touch-up company was difficult to work with) they sent one of their employees with tools and a brand new cabinet on the truck, just in case he couldn’t fix it. Wonderful place—will return next time I’m in the market for furniture!

Purchased a Bernhardt sofa on Black Friday. Wife was extremely excited about the purchase. We were told the sofa was in stock and we could pick up immediately. We told them that we would pick up the item the following day. Called the next morning to let them know we would be by there this morning (as instructed) for pick up. They told us that they would let the warehouse guys know. Once we arrived, the warehouse guys knew nothing about the pick up. After 30 minutes of looking we were told to go inside and to speak to the front desk. Once we walked up to the front desk, we were told that they are going to process our refund.**Update**Owner reached out and sincerely apologized for the mix up. Helped get the issue resolved for us. Review has been updated.

Well the sales people were very pleasant and helpful the selection was very limited. I didnt care for the style of the furniture that was there. Its a very small store I suppose you could call it quaint. If youre looking for cute little knick-knacks and decorations for your home this would be a great place. If youre looking for a specific piece for your rural style home this would might be a good option. But for a better selection I think there are several other better good stores to go to.

We moved into the area in over 25 years ago. Since moving in, we have purchased many pieces of furniture and home accessories. Our various family members have started shopping there as well. We love dealing with the personnel both in the showroom AND the warehouse. The showroom is so comfortable that Ive told them on several occasions that I want to just come and sit to relax there. Brenda, Jennie and the ladies are so sweet and accommodating!! The last time I was in, I knew that I needed a storage piece but just couldnt wrap my head around exactly what. Jennie showed us a couple of pieces but recommended one in particular that I fell in love with immediately. I just cannot imagine anyone having a bad experience there. I guess you just cannot please everyone.

Love this place. They have unique options that you dont typically see at furniture stores. They also offer a lot of different styles. Weve bought several different things here and it will be our first stop for all our furniture shopping.

Awesome place! It is decorated beautifully not like the other stores out on the Grand Parkway. Everyone was nice and helpful. The owner came and thanked us. They let us look without the hassle. After shopping other websites online we had an idea of cost and what stuff we wanted. Prices are comparable. We bought one room and will be back for more.

My first visit to Plantation Furniture was earlier this week. The furniture is quality and the sales people are very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions. The store isnt as big as some of the other furniture stores around the area, but they have a wide variety of pieces and even offer custom sofas ect. Its very stylish with the way each area is decorated with accessories. I will definitely be back to shop soon!

The 3 gentlemen that delivered my furniture were not delivery guys. They arrived with no dollies to move the heavy furniture. So I offered to let them use mine and they still broke my TV stand and bent the legs on the dresser while moving it in. I pay to much for furniture to have it damaged. There were more items that we wanted, but we are done.

Nice small store. Limited items with good prices. Did not see the same items here like we see at some of the other furniture stores around town.

I just dont understand Michael Foleys review. I have been shopping at Plantation Furniture for years and have never been treated unfairly. Most stores would not even offer a refund. To say a refund was forced on you is weird. God Bless Brenda and her staff. We love Plantation Furniture!

I went to this store for the first time last weekend. The selection of furniture and decor is absolutely beautiful, the prices are very comparable and the costumer service was outstanding, I felt helped but not overwhelmed or pushed into buying anything I didnt need. I recommend this store hands down.

Plantations furniture is a very cute furniture company however the furniture is not quality nor management. We purchased a couch and 2 chairs there over 4 months ago. The couch arrived 1st. The cushions on the couch were uneven. When we sat on one of the cushions, we practically sunk 1/2 way to the floor. I will commend them for sending out some new cushions pretty quickly. After about 6 weeks our chairs arrived. They were special ordered and did come in ahead of scheduled time. When we received them, the material on the backs of the chair were loose and buckled and one of the legs was coming off. We called Plantation back and they said they would call their company and send someone out to have them stretched and repaired. The company they contract out to failed to come out on 2 different occasions. We sat at home all day waiting for the call. Finally Plantation agreed that we could get a refund or choose something else. We went back to the store and found another set of chairs. We waited another 8 weeks for them to arrive. Plantation denied our request to have them delivered at no cost (we paid $100 the first time). So..we go to pick them up and they were dirty and the skirting around them was so wrinkled that they would need to be kept there longer to have it steamed and cleaned. This brought so much frustration with us because we had been living without furniture for over 4 months now. The owner, Brenda came out to the warehouse and was very confrontational with us and instead of trying to fix the problem immediately, started to request ANOTHER refund. She did not represent the company at all in a professional manner and insisted that we think about a refund. The only reason Im giving this place 2 stars, (it should be 1) is because the sales rep who has handled this from the very beginning was very accommodating and recognized our frustration. I want to compliment the warehouse manager as well. He has been patient and also recognized our frustration. Once we received our refund, dealt with Brenda, the owner, we headed home. It was then that the warehouse manager, not Brenda, called to apologize. Offered to clean and steam our chairs, give us free delivery, and offer an additional 20% off. Had Brenda treated us in a professional way to begin with, offer those choices, then we might of considered their offer. Beware on Plantation Furniture. At least Brenda.

This is the best little furniture store in Texas. The staff is very friendly and helpful, delivery men are awesome. We have purchased several rooms of furniture over the years, with 110% satisfaction every time. Thank you, Plantation Furniture, for making our house a home.

This place is a gem to shop for furniture or decor! Not only do they have fabulous furniture and furnishings, but have the staff that will go out of their way to please you. Its called true customer service. Something Ive never received in a chain or franchise furniture store. After any purchase Ive made, I receive hand written thank you notes, plus coupons with different percentages off on my next visit. I know its just a marketing tool, but I always venture in to see whats new in the store. If you are considering any furniture, then please visit Plantation Furniture.

I like to shop local when I can. This place is not far from me. I purchased a sofa and an ottoman earlier this year. The sofa was delivered a few days later and everything is fine. The ottoman was a special order and was told it would be ready in about four to six weeks. I called to check on the order in the fifth week and was told it would be in the following week. My wife called the following week, and this time she was told it would be a couple more weeks. Long story short, the ottoman was delivered three months after I ordered it. I cant prove it but I suspect someone forgot to place the order. The part that I dont like is the fact that we had to follow up with them. If I didnt place that call, that day, I bet I still wouldnt have it. Poor communication. Disappointed. Will not go back.
