Went for print services on Sunday-It clearly says online until 8pm. A very rude employee proceeds to tell me they don’t have services after 12pm.I pointed out online it’s says until 8pm and someone should correct that. (I wasted time on my day off to come in)He aggressively told me that they had plenty of signs pointing out the closure in store.
I need more office supplies now that I work from home. Office Max has the most helpful and friendliest store personnel of any place I have been for office supplies.
So apparently when you buy headphones all sales are final. I bought a pair of headphones that didnt work. Couldnt not get a store credit and did not get my money back. It would have been nice if the person who sold me the headphones would have mentioned that all sales are final and to read the new policies before buying. Very disappointed Office Max

I had a problem with my receipt today, and went back into the store to figure out what happened. Both the salesperson and the manager were very kind and helpful, and took the time to straighten it all out. Every time I shop there I walk away impressed with the level of service I receive!
Store was open, clean and had what I needed. Clerk was attentive and offered to help. Checkout was fast. Price was as expected for a 2 pack of Cross Pen refills.
I ordered a chair online then realized that they were still open so I rushed there and even though they were closing in 3 min and had a pluming issue they still helped me pick my chair up and were super nice about it. Cool place with cool folk
They price match prices from amazon and other retailers. Prices are about the same as everyone else. I enjoy walking in the store knowing what I need and checking right out with no wait. Its a not so great to walk in and things are moved around and you have to ask for help to find things. Other than rearranging the store I love the convenience of this location.

Very respectful and understanding outside of what they have to do. Ordered a chair online and went to pick it up within the respective 2 hour waiting period. Everything was ready and waiting for me to pick it up. Although I did not want to fix it at home due to my wifes work at home position and the house needed to be quiet. I asked if I could prepare the chair here. They offered to build the chair for me at no additional cost. I know this not their policy but to go out there way to help me out speaks volumes about their customer service. No everything cant and wont be right and we may all have different experiences. But my experience was great and all the staff that happened to make eye contact with me greeted me with a smile. Keep up the great work guys!!!
Overpriced merchandise is the biggest problem here. Unfortunately, I think its a carryover from days before we could hop online and find better discounts and the store just hasnt caught up yet. Its okay in a pinch (e.g. you have to have it right now, right this minute, today) but in general, its best to just shop for supplies somewhere a discount can be found.

Prices are a touch high. You can do much better shopping online or going to a non office specific store for supplies (Walmart/target/amazon)... definitely look for the clearance shelves where the deals can be worthwhile.

Had an odd experience trying to purchase gift cards with my credit card. My card does not have a chip, so I went to swipe and I kept getting a card cannot be read error. I asked if they could manually enter the number and they said no, odd but understandable I guess. I asked if we could use another terminal and they said no, theyd closed them all down. I verified there was nothing else I could do with my credit card company and then confirmed once more that they could neither manually enter my card or attempt to use another terminal because their systems wouldnt allow it. Never seen a POS system that cant manually enter a card number or an employee unwilling to try another terminal to make a sale. I ended up buying the $1500 worth of gift cards at Staples, my card scanned on the first swipe.
The employees were friendly and they had a wide variety of selections.
Last I was here. I noticed a woman was very irritated by the way an associate approached, like she wanted to shoplift. The manager told her they are required to follow people who enter the printer ink section to help. Today I checked that. No one followed me to ink or asked me for help. A second man just came over, looked around and left without being approached by an associate. . . Now I think that lady had a reason to be irritated.
I find what I need quickly and the sales associates are helpful. A little on the pricy side, but you can get some nice things at good discounts if youre lucky

The printing manager is amazing! Printed tons of things on different paper like certificates, Card sock and plain paper in record time!

It does its job. Able to print things when you need to and open 24 hours. Never really have any staff interactions. Although, the one time I did they werent knowledgeable on the question which was nerve racking because it was an advertised feature of their store

Not enough diversity, but you have to expect that from Office Max. They have always been that way.
Waited a day and a half for them to download Microsoft Office Word to my computer even though they said it would only take an hour. Good times :-)~
