Impressed by the thoroughness of service technician to fully resolve my concern about the front end rattling in my E400 wagon. The tech test drove after each component repair and corrected multiple issues instead of fixing one and calling it quits! I can feel a measurable difference and I feel safer and more secure about driving my car. Thank you!

Steve and Gurman always take great care of my Lady Lilly and me. They keep me updated on upcoming things that need to be done to my care. Exceptional service! I was greeted as I exited my car at the service center and directed to the waiting room where I was told that I would be waited on momentarily. A couple of minutes later a service rep greeted me, went over my cars information and what I needed done. Within a few minutes of leaving I received a confirmation text alerting me to when they anticipated my car would be ready. I then received another page about two hours later telling me I could pick up my car as it was ready. I could pay on line or at their cashiers counter. Great service and kept informed every step of the way by very pleasant people. Car service has never been so pain-free.

I live in Hampton Virginia and I was sick and tired of the horrible customer and mechanical service I was receiving from Tysinger Mercedes in Hampton, VA and Checkered Flag Mercedes in Virginia Beach, Va. so, I decided to give Mercedes Benz of Richmond a chance. The decision to give Mercedes of Richmond Broad St. a chance was the best decision ever. When you drive in to the service garage you are immediately greeted by someone and shown where to go meet your service advisor. My Service Advisor and I say that with my chest poked out is Summer Price. Summer Price is one of if not the best Service Advisors Ive ever had to deal with. Her attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and clear communication skills and out of the box thinking demonstrates the level of pride she has in her job. Because I live in Hampton, VA I was given a loaner vehicle so I could have transportation while my car was being serviced and when my car was ready to be picked up I couldnt drive all the way back to Richmond that day to drop off the loaner due to a late meeting, Summer said no problem I will ask another employee here to meet you half way if you can do that today. The driver that met me with my car Antoine was another outstanding employee. He handled my vehicle just like it was his own and he even walked me around the car showed me the work that had been accomplished and he waited until I checked everything over. If you are in the Hampton Roads area I share your frustration with Tysinger and Checkered Flag however, give Mercedes Benz of Richmond Broad St. a call and allow Summer Price and her coworkers to give you the outstanding service that customers deserve and want. First time buying a luxury car and it was pretty smooth and fast! Was in the dealership for about 1.5-2 hours. I test drove about 3 cars. I worked with two salespersons who had great communication and ensured I was taken care of.
Terrible service. Came here to get a new key made, was told the key would be ready the next day and paid the fee. Got my car towed here and came the next day around 11 am, they told me maybe FedEx hadn’t came yet so I WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED. I had to go back up to the desk MYSELF to figure out what was going on, was then told that FedEx had came twice and dropped off two packages and probably wasn’t coming back that day. They told me this information around 2:30pm and it’s sad I waited this long and had to find out this info for myself and it’s numerous workers just walking around while I’m sitting there thinking FedEx hadn’t come yet. They could have at least said “FedEx has already came for the day and we can give you call” or something, instead they having me looking stupid. I don’t even live in this area and what if I had other things to do with my day, it’s just common courtesy.
Classic Bait and Switch? Got a “Fair” offer that was “valid for seven days” from the dealer’s “Internet Sales Manager” through TrueCar. Next morning was told the car from the offer was not available. Picked a like model. The Sales Manager stated he would NOT honor their Internet Manager’s offer because the price had gone up. His new offer for a like vehicle within 24 hours was at a higher price when original offer was supposed to be valid for 7 days. That seems like the classic “Bait and Switch.” The General Manager never called me back. I bought another brand elsewhere. Salesman Kyle was a bright spot. #MBUSA, #BBB

My experience at the service department was pleasant, accomplished what I needed to accomplish, and the staff there is extremely kind and accommodating. A special shout-out to Patrick for the kindness, patience, and care that he displayed. I would’ve given 5 stars but there was a woman in the waiting room with me who was talking, coughing and wearing her mask under her chin. When she did pull it up from under her chin, she never once covered her nose. Several staff members interacted with her, yet no one took steps to ensure that she was adhering to the mask requirement. She may as well have not been wearing one, and considering her boisterous speaking to the person she was with, along with her coughing, I felt we were all placed at risk.

My travel plans were from Westchester county NY to Georgia with a stop over night in Richmond VA on Sunday. On arrival in Richmond I discovered a bubble in the wall of my “run flat” tire. I searched the internet and found the address of the Mercedes Benz location in Richmond and travelled there for their 7:30 a.m. service dept opening. I cannot express the kindness and consideration from all of the staff that I came into contact with. My car was taken into the service dept immediately, a new tire was installed and just an hour later I was back on my way to Georgia. My heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Mercedes Benz of Richmond, VA.

A few days later we arrived at the dealership (from Lynchburg) to test drive and sign paperwork and that’s literally all it was. I can’t say enough good things about Shawn (my sales consultant) at MB Richmond. I started out looking at MB in Midlothian and while they were very professional and prompt, Shawn at MB Richmond was the one that was able to get me exactly what I wanted and was the person who made me feel the trust that I needed to invest in my own MB. Shawn was up front and courteous from the beginning and always answered my communications immediately. He took my needs into consideration and ultimately got me the GLS that was best for my family and I. Ladies, do you ever feel when you go into the dealership you are not taken seriously because you’re on your own or maybe you don’t have a male with you?! Not at MB Richmond. These guys (Mike in finance included) made me feel valued, respected and were considerate throughout my entire search and buy experience. This is the best car buying experience I’ve had. 10/10 recommend!
We had an unexpected problem with our car while vacationing in Virginia. They were able to repair our radiator fan.
A well oiled machine, we needed our airbag recall fixed and the entire process was seamless. The actual work was done very quickly and they washed our car too. I appreciated the prompt texts and emails to update me on the status of the car.
Inspection was completed in a timely manner. Attendants were polite and professional.

I have no problem taking my ML350 to McGeorge while it is under warranty, but I will NEVER let them do any work outside of warranty. The service managers work on commission. Their job is to upsell. Our vehicle needed a boot in the front suspension. They suggested we replace the WHOLE AXEL, because, they said, Sometimes the boot doesnt stay on, so we recommend the axel be replaced. Excuse me? Wouldnt that be a service issue? Not a vehicle or repair issue? You do it right, the boot stays on, but you want to replace the whole bloody axel? And then they told us we needed new brakes. No. Breaks were fine. Plenty of wear.Id take my vehicle to McGeorge every time if they were honest because they ONLY work on Mercedes. But Im not going to be played for many thousands of dollars by a dealership that actively incents their service managers to find things wrong...even when there isnt.
My wifes car was serviced. She went a day early for her appt and they accommodated her anyway. The Service Rep Sam was so friendly and warm to her that she wanted to give him a hug. She didnt because of covid restrictions, but how many service departments for dealerships do you want to hug? LOL!
I wasnt happy with the aftermarket trailer hitch that was installed. The MB team worked together and came up with a wonderful solution that put a factory hitch on my car and it looks fantastic. Thank you!
I had the pleasure of dealing with Sherry Moore, and she was very helpful. Everything i asked for got done in a timely manor, imcluding the damaged brake hoses that got noticed while my vehicle was in the shop. They didnt treat me any different even though my car is 23 years old with 235k on the clock! Great service from start to finish!

I almost had a favorable buying experience.Except for: we were sold a unclean preowned car with a stain on a seat from a spill. We were told by the salesman, Kyle Guzman, to have the car detailed after the sales transaction and to subsequently send the invoice to MB of Richmond for reimbursement. After many attempts to contact Kyle and Michael Rosen (the finance manager), neither has responded to our repeated inquiries. Their customer no-service is appalling.Warning: Get any promises made by this dealers unscrupulous personnel in writing as part of the sales contract.

Some experiences simply must be shared! By way of context, I recently traded in my BMW for a Mercedes. My experience with the BMW dealer left much to be desired, which had me distrustful of luxury dealerships in general. Patrick Thompson has changed my opinion. Ive had the car in for a couple of services now. Patrick is attentive, knowledgeable, personable and professional. My interactions with him and the work performed by Mercedes Benz of Richmond have me optimistic that a positive and mutually beneficial relationship with a dealership is possible. Im impressed by the quality of work, the level of service and the amenities provided. Most importantly, Im impressed by the personal attention that I have received from Patrick! I believe that he has my interests in mind and that he values a relationship as opposed to the profit of a single transaction. If this is what I can expect from Mercedes Benz of Richmond, Im a Mercedes guy now.
Service was excellent! Everything was exactly as promised, diagnosis of problem in less than an hour, repair completed on time. Everyone i dealt with was highly professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with.
Sherry was very helpful on ensuring that I was comfortable. I recently had hip replacement surgery and she made sure that my stay was short but very relaxing.She also explained to me on where I can go if my hip needed some stretching. When traveling in VA from Maine, called for an appointment or at least advice because my 2010 Winnebago Sprinter engine diagnostics light came on. Was told they had no appointments until November. When I asked what would happen if the engine died and I had it hauled there and it was now a real emergency, the woman hung up on me. Mercedes phooey!

I most especially appreciate that the service advisor, Sherry Moore, who determined that the service I needed (some brake work) was covered by extended warranty. To our amazement they not only fit us in with no appointment, but fixed our problem and saved me hundreds of dollars in air flights for my family because they were not going to drive another 12 hours back with no AC..😆. BUYERS BEWARE THEY WILL SELL A CAR RIGHT OUT FROM UNDER YOU EVEN AFTER GIVING A DEPOSIT...Called and emailed the dealership about a vehicle I found online. A salesman called me back from my voicemail, and a manager returned my call from the email submission. Both confirmed the vehicle I was interested in was available, but the manager said he was going to let the salesman take care of me since I spoke w/ him first. Salesman was very polite and professional. He gave me all the info about the vehicle and answered all my questions. We negotiated a price over the phone since I live about 5-6 hours away. He said he was going to send over a credit application for me to fill out. I told him thats fine, but I want to give a deposit now because I definitely want the car. Then I can figure out if I want to finance or pay cash. He took my credit card to lock in the deal. Shortly after he emailed over the credit application and asked me to text him a copy of my insurance card and both sides of my drivers license, which I did. I filled out the application right away and sent it back. He told me he would overnight all the paperwork to me so i could sign, and then once they received it back they would ship the car. This all took place around lunchtime. Around 4:30 I texted him to confirm the paperwork was sent overnight. I waited an hour or so and then called him and left a voice mail. Later on that evening around 7:30 he called me back to say that the new car manager sold the car to someone else. I asked him how is that possible since we had negotiated a deal already, and I gave a credit card for deposit along w/ all other info requested. He couldnt give me an answer. I confirmed w/ him again during this conversation that when we spoke earlier in the day that he said the car was available. He said that he did check and the car was available when I gave the credit card for deposit. I feel this is very shady and unprofessional of the dealership. Obviously, its not the salesmans fault since I believe he did everything he told me about confirming availability and taking my card for a deposit.
