I had purchased an old vehicle that needed some repairs. I was told everything the vehicle needed. I was referred to Northside Cycle and Auto Repair by a niehbor friend. I called Northside Cycle and Auto Repair and told them what I needed to be done and asked if I could bring my own parts. I was very nicely told yes and made an appointment to drop off my vehicle. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and good attitude. The technition gave me a price for the repairs and was asked if I would need someone to pick me up when the work was done. I declined a left them to start the repairs. I went back at the agreed time and was pleased to see the repairs had been completed. I was presented with a bill which was the agreed price. After I paid the man at the cash register and got my vehicle while driving away I started to wonder if that had been too easy. Something had to be wrong. But nothing was wrong and as a matter of fact my vehicle was cleaned inside and out. I highly recommend Northside Cycle and auto repair. Finally an independent repair station that was honest and reliable.

Road trip from nh to Utah and our bikes hydraulic cluch decided to quit on a Sunday. Chad and his guys took us in and got us back in the road quickly. My wife and I can not thank them enough!

Would rate half a star if i could. I purchased a transmission off of the owner with the promis that if i ended up not needing it or not wanting it i could bring it back and receive a refund. I then spent three weeks trying to return it to receive said refund because that transmission wasnt a plug and play I would end up having to spend more money than was worth if i tried to install the transmission he sold me. Last thing i was told was that they do not give refunds. This automotive service is not worth taking your vehicle to unless its for light work. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

For anyone needing repairs on your motorcycle I got a bit of experience to share with you. I took my bike to a local Richmond repair shop last month to have a rear tire replaced. After being told it would take an hour I patiently waited for 2 weeks to get this bike back to me. Each day I called they only needed 2 more hours. That’s the days that actually answered my calls. I didn’t have a problem with that as it was winter and I’m not really going anywhere with it. After a while though it became more of a principle that.. Hey, when you say your gonna do it, do it.Well they did it. A week later I walk into my garage and find the tire flat again. After a close inspection, I find they ruined my $350.00 brand new tire and destroyed my rim that may likely cost me a $1000.00 to replace. That’s the best part. It’s only money. The worst part is, as I took it apart, I’m lucky, so lucky that it wasn’t summer time and that I took this thing for a ride. The side wall of the brand new tire has a huge gash where it meets the rim. You can see the metal shavings on the rim. Then I find that brake pads came off in my hands. The retaining clips that holds them together were missing. The brake lines were missing bolts. The exhaust pipe had 1 bolt holding it up. The shocks are missing the rubber grommets. The final drive had nuts that were backed off over an inch. There is something heavy rolling around inside the tire and I havent even been able to find what that is yet.They don’t respond to messages. They let me ride home on this thing. With nothing even holding the brake pads in position. That right there tells me all I need to know about this business. Be very careful who you let work on your ride. Make sure you get paperwork showing what work they are performing and then take a walk around video of your bike in the parking lot with their logo in view.I’m considering court, but I didn’t get paperwork and besides a witness or two and 1 text, probably can’t even prove it was there. Even if I win I doubt I would get my money. My goal here is to give everyone else a heads up. Stay far away from these people. Your life could literally depend on it. Again, this is how they let me ride home. Not to mention had it have been a warm sunny day I might have took it out for a few hours.

On Mother’s day eve, my car broke down just before dusk on I.70 west. What a terrible experience. Then a wonderful tow truck driver picked me and my dog up. He asked where did I want to take the car since it was dead. I was not from the area or state. Asked him where to take the car this late on mother’s day weekend. He said Northside Cycle and Auto. Loved this place. They fixed my car and delivered it to my hotel! Come on now. What business does that these days? I have a big mouth. I told everyone. So happy. Great people! Wonderful work.

Very Nice people but stripped my hub bolts out now I’m just at a loss can’t do anything just the fact that I got stripped bolts more stuff to replace just absolutely is driving me crazy and 200$ to replace just my brake pads and strip my bolts out they are very nice people and would recommend brake changes there but nothing else will never let them touch my car again and told me I needed parts that I didn’t need and is driving perfectly fine without the part

My family and I were leaving Chicago and heading back home to Northern Virginia when we cruised right into a pot hole the size of Texas about 1 mile before the Ohio border near Richmond, Indiana. Our tire was completely destroyed. This was Sunday at around 2PM, which meant everything was closed. Everything but Northside Cycle & Auto! We slowly drove our car to their Shop/House and 45 mins later we were back on the road. That day could have been a complete disaster but everything worked out. Thank you guys so very much.Now if I can only figure out how to get the state of Indiana to reimburse me for my tire. Indiana Dept of Transportation shame on you for not fixing this pothole!!

Positive experience all around. I would use their services again.First, traffic caused me to be late (45 minutes late), I reached out prior to my scheduled time and asked if I need to reschedule. He thanked me and said we will fit you in. They fit me in, even though they were busy. Awesome.Second, I purchased a new set of four tires. Tire price and installation price was more then fair. No surprises, what was quoted was what my bill was.Third,There was a problem with my tire pressure sensor on one of the wheels. Before the part was replaced he showed me what was wrong and communicated two different options for repair. I appreciated the honesty and choice for repair as well as not slapping it back together.Fourth,It was a little hot outside. The owner brought me a Mountain Dew. I didnt ask, he was just being a legit dude.The owner and his crew were knowledgable, honest, and did quality work. I would recommend this place based on my positive experience.5 of 5 stars.

The first time I took my car here they helped me figure out what was wrong and fixed the issue within hours. This second time going was for a smaller fix and their speed of repair was astonishingly quick, with practically no wait time. I definitely recommend Northside Cycle & Auto, especially if youre on a college budget like me and want quality service that is fast, affordable, and friendly!

Butch was great- we were on an a road trip from Scottsdale to Pittsburgh and the car we were towing got a flat tire. The guys did a great job fixing the donut and getting us a new tire so we could carry on with our trip at 10pm! They are the best!

Worst experience ever took my quad there to get fixed and I called and asked after 4 months if it was done and I kept getting excuses everytime I called.They told me it was about done one day and then the next day I go there and it’s still in the same spot hasn’t been touched. And they took it all apart and never gave me all my parts back. And then they told me they would give me the part or my money back and they never did. Do not waste your time or money here.

I had car trouble outside Richmond, other places were already starting to close for the day, and my insurance company said it would be 3 hours before a tow truck could come get me. I called Northside, and they quickly came out to get my car, assessed the issue, and got the whole thing up and running that evening. I made it home that night and couldnt be more grateful for their good work, kind service, and reasonable pricing. Would definitely recommend letting these guys take care of your car.

Took my 94 c3500 in on a Friday with a long list of all finishing things I needed done. Most shops wouldve been at least a week getting it done as these guys called me Sunday evening saying it was done. Not only that but Butch called me multiple times to give me updates which is amazing for car guy that did a ton of work himself. At Northside they will get it done without lolligagging and do it right. Thank you Butch and team for the great work!P.s. you left those carb spacers in the cab. Ill try and drop them off tomorrow

My husband and I purchased four new tires from this business with the guarantee of a warranty and to just contact them with any problems. We have a special needs child, and this is our primary vehicle. It was my first time dealing with them. Within days the front tire has a huge bubble in it. I fear a blow out every time that I drive it. We have been calling them for over a month and they refuse to respond. We were happy with the service that we received that day, but definitely not anymore.Update: The “brand new” tire they sold us with “warranty” in March resulted in myself having to pay for a new tire elsewhere because I could get no contact back from this business. I had the tire removed today and was told that they “couldn’t believe someone sold us this tire” and the fact that “it lasted as long as it did”. I will obviously never go back and will warn others. Customer beware!
