Keith Epps Automotive is a no-frills, highly efficient, customer-focused, locally owned repair company of which I am enthusiastically a loyal customer.On the phone, they are to-the-point and curt, which is a good quality in an automotive repair company. How so? Because even over the phone, their attitude is more solution-oriented and less scam-the-customer (like other garages tend to be).I scheduled an appointment and it was honored damn well to the minute! He literally pulled my car into the garage as I arrived! And it was done so quickly.I had to have my drivers side mirror replace AGAIN (gee, thanks Richmond drivers!) and Mr. Epps allowed me to order my own parts and bring them with me to the appointment (be sure to ask such questions when you book your own appointment).HERE IS THE PART THAT MAKES THIS SIX STARS: Mr Epps advised me on a cheaper solution in the future as well as took the time to reattach the color-matching part of the side mirror, neither of which I expected. His hourly labor rate is reasonable, very competitive pricing compared to other garages! He is honest, compassionate, efficient, and effective, four qualities that I feel are hard to find in other automotive repair companies!

As well as high performance perfection, along with unique creations, that absolutely excite the imagination. These gentlemen can and do fabricate your dream designs to a reality. Making the impossible, possible is their speciality. If they cant do it, then it cant be done. From helping the everyday person just needing a repair or two. To the radical racer in need of a real motor and muscle. This is the place for all of it.

He has a very bad attitude. Work done for me was okay, he fix one thing and messed up something else and would no own it.

This was my initial experience. I got my car serviced on Friday, October the 7th 2020. They did a great job & prices were really reasonable. However, on Saturday my check engine light came on - On the website it stated Keith Epps was open on Saturday. I tried called and no one picked up nor was there an answering service to indicate Saturday hours. So I drove back to Keith Epps Auto. No one was there - his cell was on business signage. I called & Mr. Epps answered. He told me to bring my car in Monday morning @ 8am. Thanks for allowing me to share my experience.

I drop my vehicle off Wed morning and was told it would be fixed by Saturday. Well that was the Case. I got it back next week driving crazier and more. Once again money make people do stupid and crazy things

Ive been going to this place for a while and his other place before this one. Keith does good work for the most part. Better when he has help.He has never had a good attitude.😐You have to have thick skin when talking to Keith. 😳Would I take my car there again, Yes.Hes prices are ok.🙄

My window wouldnt go up. He came out got the window up, told me what I needed and didnt charge me anything.

We have been going to Mike for years. Excellent service and he knows his stuff! He just recently worked on my 2016 VW Passat left car overnight and was ready by the time he indicated ( the next day ) . He works on all types of cars/ models and he does inspections but you need to get there early for car inspection!

Serving the people! Wait may be long due to high customer volume (customers obviously satisfied with the fair and honest repair work and cost, reason for high volume). No white-glove treatment if you expect one. (Franchise dealers offer that at a premium price,FYI). Keith keeps it real!As for me, I always go back over and over again!

This place is full if ish! These people inspected my car and then proceeded to quote me $1100 for work I already had done.. got my back light fixed, had it inspected somewhere else, and Im good! Sour grapes nope.. they tried to charge me $440 for parts that Auto Zone (down the street) sold for $200 and $700 for 7 hours of labor for a 4 hour job.. If you want to pass inspection and you are a woman, dont go here.

This place moves in slow motion. Expect to wait hours for something that takes most places 20-35 minutes. Thats no exaggeration, I truly mean hours.

They are fast and knowledgeable at what they do. Highly recommended.

A friend referred me to keiths. Took my caddie in to get roters replaced, they took care of it in a couple of hrs and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended this place if your looking for a good mechanic that will treat you fairly. As you can see im cruising😀

Terrible service. I went in there because my my car was misfiring due to bad fuel injectors, which I didnt know at the time . Instead of giving me a proper diagnosis the mechanic banged a screwdriver on my starter and then my car wouldnt start. So I had the option of either letting them replace the starter or have my car towed! Then he had the nerve to offer me a $1,000 for the car when he knew the true problem was inexpensive . This shop here is the reason I dont go to shops anymore! They always try to hustle young people thinking they are ignorant about how cars work. Please avoid at all cost !!!

Never had a problem. Sent my son to get an inspection older man wouldnt inspection because he had rims on it told him to take them off?? Not understanding why, so I sent son my son some were else.

They took me for an inspection right away. But the owner was rude and nasty. I got a rejection sticker and they falsely rejected my car and told me that they would charge me $300 to fix it. Took my car back a few days later to get my car reinspected because my step dad look at the part that they said I needed and nothing was wrong with it! They had a lame ass excuse on why they couldnt take me(nothing to do with my car). After giving me the run around they ended up reinspecting and found nothing wrong!! I would never go back they are so unprofessional and nasty! Ladies stay away from this place if you dont have a man with you because I think that they tried to get money out of me because I was a woman and knew nothing about cars!!

Worst mechanics in Richmond if you are a VCU student stay away!!!! They will hustle you tell you there is a problem with your car when theyre isnt one. I went to do my inspection and they just looked at my car and said its rejected and gave me 10 problems with it. They never put tit on the computer or probably inspected. Your just supposed to trust theyre word terrible. The old man is very rude and so is the mangment . They are professional ripoff artists I would stay away. They will take advantage of you...if your a VCU STUDENT STAY AWAY!!!bad business
