Went for pool filter sand. They had a 50lb bag. I needed 350lbs. So had to go to Burien for the other 6 bags. They were nice, just out of stock on a lot of things(like slot of places)

A pretty good store if you only need to find smaller kind of projects. They have alot of things one could need.

This is by far the best Ace store I have visited. The manager went way put of his way to help me with a key to my Scion. I couldnt believe he came to my residence to make up for an error. Thats unheard of customer service these days. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. If you need a new car key skip the dealership Ace saved me 9ver $400 on that key vs dealership.

Good place to run and in out for a few items to fix up your house. Its not expansive like Lowes or Home Depot but has all the knickknacks you commonly need. Has a decent garden section and the plants are better kept than some box stores.

I love this store. It seems to offer most of the home hardware products I need, without the size and scope of a Home Depot (which is so large I end up wandering around for long stretches of time trying to locate products). Return policy is friendly, and so are the clerks. Prices are good, and selection is decent. Overall, if youre close to an Ace Hardware, try finding things here before expanding to Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

From mounting my tv above my fireplace, getting specific drill bits, to getting a new travel grill, this place has been great. The staff even though busy still give me the time of day for my questions. Ive been impressed by all of the staff here time and time again.

This location has improved so much in the last few months! The garden center used to be full of half dead and usually bug infested plants. The price signs were usually missing and the lines moved super slow. Today the place looked beautiful! The plants had prices and a manager was not only directing the lines, but was cashiering and answering phones. Well done Brett!

This place reminds me of the hardware store in my former area that l shopped at regularly at as a child with my grandfather.The store was called Coast to Coast and was located next to Big Scoop Ice Cream in historical downtown Redmond.At that time there was not big box stores and mega apps to order from, so it was nice to have a family run business with hardware supplies ready when you needed them in an emergency case....especially when our well pump needed attention.This store doesnt have everything, but it is nice to have it conveniently located close to home and so far it has met my needs and it is nice to support ...especially during these times of hardship when so many family independent businesses have folded even before the virus.Note : a great convenient location to shop...but not shoplift.

I really enjoy going to Ace Hardware. They always have incredibly helpful staff and unlike some of the bigger stores you can actually find one to help you. I often shop year to get my one off supplies.

Small store but great selection. They have a little bit of almost everything you would find in one of the larger hardware, paint, and garden stores. Reasonably priced, knowledgeable and helpful employees, convenient parking.

Rant: I have never been so upset... My husband and I went to the Fairwood Ace Hardware next to LA Fitness to get this spot cleaner (Grandmas Secret Spot Remover) that we seen on Tik Tok. He went in while I remained on the phone with my mom. Remind you, it was the first time he went into Ace today and the first time he has went in within a two week period. He came out and was so upset and was on the phone with the police ( who said they could not do anything). He said he was kicked out over accusations that he was stealing. I went in and spoke to the supervisor Zack who said he had the right to refuse service to my husband because an associate Claimed that stuff was missing and that my husband had been in the store twice already (which was incorrect), Zack stated that he had no camera footage of my husband taking anything, He did not ask my husband to empty his pockets, he asked my husband if he needed help and when my husband said yes he told him he had to leave his store. It just appalls me because several other people were in the store at the time, they were not accused or kicked out, there was no proof of anything, only accusations that because stuff was missing and that my African American husband had to be the one who took it... but why couldnt it have been anyone else? We have a nice 5 bedroom home here in Fairwood, my husband is a cell tower climber who works 12 to 16 hour days to make sure we live a more than comfortable life, and has never stole a day in his life nor has a criminal record. The fact that we still have to deal with this type of stuff is humiliating and hurtful... Needless to say we will NEVER be supporting ACE Hardware again!!!!

I purchased a buy2get1 free promo today. I saw that the cashier had charged me for 3 promo bags of dirt and then charged me for a free bag and then then charged me for another bag of unrelated dirt. The cashier assured me that I had not been charged for one of the bags. I got home and added up the 4 bags of dirt. Nothing had come up free. I double checked that I had 4 bags in my trunk. I called and spoke to the cashier who insisted that she had given me a free bag of dirt. I spoke with the manager who asked me to come in. I went back and explained to the new cashier what had happened. At first he didnt get what i was telling him. I had him do the math. He did and realized no free bag had been given to me. He quickly refunded me and all was well. Id like to thank the manager and the cashier who took a moment to listen to and look at what I was having an issue with. I give Ace 5 stars for their customer service, with the exception of the original cashier who seemed way too eager to deny her mistake than to take a second to try to understand the issue. I will continue to shop at Ace regardless of this misunderstanding. Stuff happens. No harm done.

I much prefer to go to local hardware stores but this one is poorly managed.A few issues:- Stock is poorly managed. I purchased some simple 1x2 and two months later it still hadnt been restocked. This is common with other products.- Much of the garden/lumber area is a mess and poorly organized. Used more like a storage area for random things.- Dont order online and expect to pick it up here. Ive tried several times and when it says its available at the store its usually not and will take a week to arrive.I love shopping local but this Ace makes it hard. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because the employees are nice.

For the most needed stuff at home projects they are there for you. The most i like is that they are not a gigantic place but still they have mostly what i constantly use.

Found what I needed and not too busy at this time of day

Bad trip, usually better experience here. Store was fine. Checkout is where the problem happened. The cashier was having trouble ringing someone up. It took her a while to correct the issue which caused a back up of about 6+ people. The 7th person gave up and left. Nothing is wrong with this. What rubs me the wrong way was there was an employee chatting with a friend and/or customer. Instead of saying hey I need to get back to cashiering or helping the cashier figure out her problem he just kept chatting away. 10 minutes feels like 30 when youre second in line while staring at an employee not doing anything. Ruins an otherwise 5 star experience.

I have never in my life been to a store and felt so threatened by their employees in my entire life apparently Ace doesnt like people who have disabilities so if you have a disability please be aware and especially if you are somewhat illiterate please be aware that they dont like people that are illiterate Ace does not like people with disabilities and Ive never again felt so threatened in my life to be in a store

Ace is the place! if you dont have time or desire to drive to home depot. We needed some he for my kids project. Just some simple lumber. Their prices tend to run high. Almost 50% or more when compared to other places. If you need something fast and close. Hit them up. Limited stock and variety but they have lots of basic stuff. But if you have time to plan your project you can probably keep more cash in your pocket and better selection elsewhere.

Not enough inventory.

Ive been here several times. The main reason I go here is its convenient for the project Im working on. It has some limitations on selection because it is a smaller store than the big two. But understanding what they carry I can usually find what Im looking for. Stocked well, rarely do you see empty product slots. It does tend ve slightly more expensive...not major, a few cents here and there. This particular store has knowledgeable staff. They almost always know where I can find something and on more detailed questions...weird plumbing situation for example...they take the time to work the problem to find a solution. Take a photo, take in original parts whenever possible. In addition to helpful staff, they are nice and genuinely appreciate your business.

I love this place! They are a great neighborhood hardware store. They dont have large inventory or the cheapest prices (though they do price match many places)... But they are helpful and knowledgeable. They almost always have something that will work for what ever I need.

Give them five stars for just being there itis really nice having a hardware store this conveniently located and they do keep a pretty decent supply of the basics that a person needs when they need something in a hurry still its a bit pricey and I would choose to go to one of the big box stores for any sizable projects

Ace Hardware is the best! Home Depot and Lowes.... Nah. It takes 45 minutes to get in and out of those places. Ace is 5 minutes, in and out, and they have everything you need. They really are the helpful hardware store.

ACE is convenient and I can usually find what I need. Its clean and the employees are helpful when youre trying to find something. The only downside is theyre not that good about opening more lanes when theres a line.

Nice neighborhood hardware store. Always get help when asked but they have zero inventory. Like only 1-2 of everything on the peg hooks, like plumbing. Looks like they could be going out of business. I don’t want that to happen!

Incompetent sales crew. But they are handy locations so I keep going back. Surprisingly they do stock a large variety of just about everything you need for everyday maintenance!

Great store. My only problem is the smell of fertilizer. Seriously get rid of that. No one wants to go into your store.

I have gone to the Fairwood Ace three times now. Each time the staff has been friendly and helpful. The main drawback has been the lack of inventory, each time I go in the shelves look bare. Another unfortunate circumstance is theft is so high at the Ace many of the items are under lock so you have to get a staff member to get a key to unlock your items, making the trip a little longer and less productive.

Great little local hardware store with friendly staff. There are no big box hardware stores anywhere near here so the location is great for that area.

This store has really declined over the past few weeks. Shelves are empty, and no staff around to help. The staff that is around is really grumpy and unfriendly. I asked what going on and was told that corporate got so bad that several employees from the store management had left. I would not be surprised in the slightest if this place was going out of business. Its sad to see you be loosing excellent staff due to your lack of support. Get it together ACE!

Very disappointed with lack of effort during the pandemic. Employees not wearing masks, other than tape on the floor for checkout lines and plexiglass protection for checkers, not taking this seriously. Any business not mandating employees wearing masks now and encouraging customers to practice social distancing is not concerned about its employees or customers.

Great customer service

This used to be an ok place to shop 15 years ago...but a few years back it started to show scant merchandise on the shelves. Now service has gone way down hill with very high prices to boot. Unhelpful employees chit chatting on their personal phones! I will not be visiting this Ace store anymore.

I have a local ace hardware in North Bend, so I was pretty happy fairwood was close, when I was at my sons...This was such a disappointment for an ace. No one greeted me, no one asked to help, it was small and more expensive than North Bend... I got what I needed but not a happy experience

We recently moved to the area and have visited the store often. It goes without fail that at every visit, the woman cashier rudely yells at my son. No, he is not perfect but he is a busy 7 year old boy. He goes to stores almost daily and has never once caused an issue or been yelled at. I am beginning to feel like we are not welcome at this store. I do not mind having adults speak to my children....but it is not okay for them to yell or treat them so rudely!!!

I had to push there assistance button 4.timesnbefore I even.got.a response.Then was yelled and told Ill be there when I.can.. I am a manager.myself and if I was told my employees treated customers like this they would lose their job...
