Not so great my car was rear ended and a tree fell on our truck but it was great working with the crew at Caliber Collision in Redwood City for both vehicles at separate times. The whole process everyone involved was professional, details were clearly communicated and both vehicles came out looking like nothing ever happened to them

The shop and it’s staff made what would normally be an expensive headache (getting your car repaired after a crash) an experience that was low hassle and affordable. The staff were honest, friendly, and had repairs performed on time. They even went out of their way to deliver my repaired vehicle to me, free of charge.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They were handling my insurance claim (for MetLife). Repair was done faster than promised, great quality. They were very good about setting expectations, explaining all the activities and following up on their commitments. Very good communication. My advisor - Manny Chavez - was excellent and I would highly recommend him.

Excellent auto repair shop. Form beginning to end, the communications were clear and timely. No surprises. Team here is honest. My fender and panel look as good as new. I also asked about painting another part of the car and they said they could do it but another shop (who they referred me to) would do as good a job and cheaper. Wow!!!

Damage to insulation in engine compartment from rodent infestation, not visible and behind existing engine components, Caliber had to remove and reinstall components blocking access. I had received low five figure dealership quote requiring removal and reinstallation of entire engine; Caliber performed task confining removal and reinstallation to damaged area, installing restraints to further rodent access. Work guaranteed by my insurance company, USAA, best in the business. OUTSTANDING SERVICE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My car is 2014 Toyota Rav 4. Our car is been parked on the street for a week without getting the job done. The promise is to get it done by Friday but this end up not getting the job done. There is no communication at all and we was waiting for it to be done but it end up of making our coming weekend terrible. We plan to go out of the town of Saturday but the car is not yet been work on. I could not really accept this at all.This is my first and also the last time to come to this service station.It waste time and create a lot of frustration when the promised service is not deliver on time and in addition there is no responsible and no communication.

Excellent Customer Service! My new car had been vandalized and I had called to get an estimate from Cooks. I spoke with Luis who was charming, but not condescending (its happened to me in other places, just because Im a woman) He was very empathetic and helpful and told me it wasnt worth making a claim on my insurance. He told me hed order the parts for me and how to keep the integrity of the paint, but not cost me a ton of money. He didnt have to do that, he couldve charged me a lot of money for what I needed done. Honestly, I would rather not need their services, but would certainly go back if I did.

You guys are wonderful! I have had such a good experience: clear communication, great work on my car, all over good experience. Five stars!

My brand new car (less than 500 miles) was wrecked while in a parking lot. It really sucked.I took my insurances (AAA) recommendation on a body shop, and Im glad I did. Cooks Collision was professional and responsive, but above all they were honest, straightforward, and did great work.Kevin Greer took care of my claim; he was patient and thorough, always made sure to communicate, and I really got the feeling he was making sure I got everything I needed to get.Caroline (Im sorry I got this name wrong, I unfortunately dont have your business card to double check the name!) at the front desk was friendly, helpful and professional every time I called or came in, and was always able to give me updates or get me in touch with people that could.In the car business I value good work, honesty, and friendliness (in that order), Cooks Collision was a five stars for each.They were even able to accommodate my schedule when I was going to be out of the country for a week, they managed to get it out a little earlier to let me pick it up before I go.

Cooks did a great job on my car. I would recommend them to anyone.

Had an appointment for an estimate at 8:30 AM and the guy never showed up. A half hour later, another guy agreed to help me so he fidgeted with his camera for 10 minutes then took photos of my vans body damage. The estimate came in at $4000, which seemed very high. We tried to renegotiate it but got a snippy response so we took the van to a nearby 5 star auto body shop and got a quote for $2800 for the same work. Anyone who uses Cooks is obviously not shopping around.

On Aug 4 2015 I picked up my car from this body shop because this is my insurances (farmers) direct shop. Now I am not with the insurance company anymore and would never return to this body shop.The persons in Cooks Collision Redwood city main street did not even mention to show me my vehicle before I sign the documents and pay.After I signed all the paperwork and paid them, I was then shown where my car is.Both the person and I found that the left mirror is broken. The person apologized to me and promised to fix it on Aug 7 2015. This is not resolved even at now, Nov 12 2015.The communications between me and Cooks Collision:On Aug 7 I called them, they told me to wait until Aug 10. Then I was told to wait until Aug 12 when I approach cooks collision on Aug 10. Then I was told to wait until Aug 14 when I called them on Aug 12. Then I was told some time next week when reached out them on Aug 14, on which day I actually went to the body shop since they were not reachable by phone. They refused to give me any confirmation number to track.I am tired about all of this and do not want to contact or go to the Cooks Collision any more.Update:In Sept. 2015 I found that the front lights are not located and installed properly, as there are gaps between lights and the cover.In Dec. 2015 I found that the filter left in.

I ultimately totaled my car and it was towed to Crooks, oh I mean Cooks. It took 30 days to get the insurance to state that it was totaled with the blame going to the insurance and the insurance saying it was the repair shop. During this time, my car was left unsecured in an open lot - and everything that could be taken out of the car was stolen. They even replaced my brand new battery with an old one.After it was deemed totaled, I was told to tow it off their (open) lot because they do not repair totaled cars.

I was referred to Cooks through my insurance company. I took the car down to get an estimate, and met with Lou. 10 days and 3 unreturned voicemails later - Im still waiting for the estimate.....so Im going back to my insurance company to get an alternative referral. This is not the way to run a service business.
