I have not had a car for 4 months now. I am a college student who works hard and often for my money and I have been struggling trying to find rides to work and school for 4 months. I was offered a rental for 7 days. And I’m pretty sure my car has not been touched. Do not buy a car from Hyundai. They are unreliable and when it breaks they will not fix your car in a quick manner. I understand everything is backed up with covid, but the least a company can do is update me on my car. It is so hard to reach anyone to even get a status on my car, and I never get calls back.
Went on a Saturday to look at the Santa Fe and Tucson. I was impressed when the manager came over right away and introduced himself and set us up with Angelo. Angelo was amazing from start to finish. He was so patient, wasn’t pushy at all, so knowledgeable of the car and understood what i was looking for and needed. I cannot say enough great things about him! I went with the Santa Fe and I am in love with it!! He made sure my registration was done for me on Monday & also got my sticker put on and filled the tank! After being absolutely exhausted from a totaled car accident, & other dealerships - a stressful experience was what I needed and what I got ! I had a really good experience here. I traded my jeep renegade in and got a Hyundai Tucson. Mark was really good at getting the car I wanted to be affordable. He was able to work with me on that. I was able to test drive the car and leave with it the same day. It was very organized and everyone there was really nice. The only negative thing I would say is that I wish the gas tank was full when I pulled out of the car lot, I had the gas light come right away. Other than that I would go back here again and recommend anyone who wants to by a Hyundai.

I went to Rte 44 hyundai 6 years ago to buy my first car. Now that I was ready to buy a new one I went back and the overall experience I had with Mike and Christian was so much more than I expected. I visited Route 44 Hyundai for the first time this week for some preventative maintenance. I was greeted in a friendly manner and was helped immediately. The facility was immaculate and had a comfortable waiting area. When I went to get my car, I was pleasantly surprised to find them vacuuming the inside of my car. I will be going back there and highly recommend others to do so.
First and foremost, I would like to convey that the girl who took care of me was professional and pleasant. This review is not about her bc she was excellent. The Hyundai service department quoted me a price of $500 for the work my car needed. I quickly google parts and labor for replacing _______ and I saw that the average price was $160. I said that Id like to take some time to think about it. I then went to my mechanic and had the EXACT job don for $180!!! In addition, I wasted 2 HOURS of my day at Hyundai waiting for the diagnosis for which I had to pay $140. My mechanic diagnosis FOR FREE. Hyundai dealership service department is WAAAAY OVERPRICED and I will not be returning. My mechanic has any 100% loyalty because of this.
Extremely disappointed, drove 45 minutes one way to look at a vehicle, too far off on the deal, no hard feelings that happens, went back home. Get a call today saying they can make it work and that it wont be a waste if i come back up. So i changed around my schedule and drive back there. Not even remotely close to being able to make things work, still over $200/month off. So now i wasted hours dont exactly what i told them i didnt want to happen
II was very impressed with the young lady who helped me. She really knew her business! She was also extremely polite and helpful as I am handicapped and needed extra care. I hope I get her again when I return for services.
To be honest, My husband and I came into Hyundai Route 44 for maitenance work. However, we were talked into buying a newer vehicle. Yes, I could have said no. But i was informed that I would be paying lower monthly payments. Thats what I was excited about. Unfortunately, that didnt happen. I did like the car. So i decided to go ahead with it and purchase it. It is definitely a learning experince of not to jump the gun in buying something because it looked good.Overall, Im pleased with my purchase.
Purchased a car from them a month ago. While I was looking for cars I told them it was very important for me to have roof rails because I like taking my kayak out. The only trim they had available for the model I wanted didnt have roof rails so I was going to look for a car at another dealer, but then they promised to install roof rails for free if I bought from them. Seemed like a great deal since I didnt really want many of the other features from the next trim level.Here I am a month later, no roof rails on my car. I brought the car in for them to install them and when I picked it up later that day they said something about having the wrong size roof rails, but theyd figure it out and get back to me. The salesman (Benny) that I worked with during my buying process left me a voicemail on August 16th saying yeah we cant actually do that, you should try to get it done at a local car body shop and that its not their problem. I have a document from him which says that they agree to install them as part of my purchase of the car, but they havent returned a call from me since his voicemail.Hey, they made their sale! Congrats guys!
Salesman, Angelo, was very professional in selling me my 2022 Tucson. Overall, a very positive experience at Route 44 Hyundai. The salespersons are very enthusiastic. The company will actively recommend you financing instead of bank loans. The interest rate will be quite high. They will also actively promote additional warranty services, but this additional warranty is actually unnecessary. They cannot follow the sales. The promise of bumper to bumper protection requires an appointment for each after-sales service, otherwise no service is provided.

This was my first oil change in my new car. Was told it would be 90 min, but the car was in ALL day. It would have been nice if they vacuumed the interior as I saw them doing with other serviced vehicles. Otherwise friendly service.

Having to bring my Santa Fe in for a factory recall the work was done perfectly with no up sells - I dislike those as I know the game all to well; and the work was done correctly and quickly. My goto dealer from now on. The first dealership I went to failed miserably (actually put a fault, not intentional, on the vehicle) and wanted to perform upsells of about $190 of work that I did not need. Honesty and trust ranks very high with me.

Three months back I bought my first brand new Santa Fe. The experience was great, and Benny was a great guy for the sales. Overall experience was great and I would recommend to anyone who wants to buy a Hyundai.
Made an appointment to have my car serviced, dropped it off at 9:30am( explained to Sarah I wouldn’t have a ride back to pick it up after 1pm) she said ok she would call when it’s ready. I called in at 12pm to check the status and she said she would call me back after she goes to check. When she called back she said it’s not done it needs a few more hours of work. I explained i wouldn’t have a ride back again and she said she would talk to her boss and call me back. The next phone call was her telling me that the work was not done at all becasue they ordered the part for the wrong car and that we can reschedule for tomorrow. I left work to drop the car off this morning, it took an hour to go and get back. Then I had to do the same thing again to go get my car, but no work was done. A waste of my time and I couldn’t even get a courtesy call to update me between 9:30am-12pm. Not even when they realized the part was wrong. Very upsetting . Lost 2 hours of work plus gas in both cars (mine and my rides)

Salesman Benny is your typical slimey car salesman. We test drove a car at about 5pm, loved it and wanted to proceed with purchase. They should’ve just said ‘come back in the morning for the transaction, as we’re closing soon’ instead we felt rushed, bothersome, and he was taking personal phone calls as we were clearly keeping them late. I wanted the car enough, and being the petty, passive aggressive buyer I am made sure to complete entire process before driving it off the lot, regardless of his attitude, phone calls and time.However my first oil change in the service department was smooth sailing and the technician and Matt at the counter were wonderful. The “thank you” note after my car was done was a nice touch too
Last Saturday I went to 44 Hyundai expecting to not get results right away and walking out. The mask wearing in this place is almost non existent. 2 workers wearing masks on their chins, 1 worker has one covering his mouth (not nose) and 1 actually wearing one appropriately. If you dont want to wear a mask on your own time fine, but at least have enough respect for your customers to wear them properly while youre working. Service is usually fine but long waits.
My advisor was pleasant and nice enough, however I brought my car in for one specific update as I have a mechanic who does my work for me and the update needed to be done by a dealership. The service team then tried to tell me that I had to replace a $650 part in order for my check engine light to come off and that they didn’t even do the update that I had initially asked for because it didn’t need it. When I refused and told them I wanted the car updated and that was it, they then told me that my battery was junk and I needed a new battery which was also not true as when they brought it over to me both the advisor and myself were able to start the car with no issues. Once the update was installed my check engine light came off and my car is fully functioning. I’ve since had my mechanic take a look at the “issues” that the team had mentioned and they’ve stated that all parts are still in great shape. I understand that you’re in the selling market, but when a customer comes in for one thing could you at least do it before trying to add on other fixes that they don’t need? If it hadn’t been for my advisor Patricia being so polite and visibly frustrated at the lack of update done to my car as well, I would have walked out and done the update elsewhere.

BUYER BEWARE, when I had an actual Hyundai they were fine, but when I swapped for a Ford Fusion, THAT THEY SOLD ME, the service tanked. I understand them not having parts on site for the car however when I went to get my check engine light fixed in February the guy told me the part would be in the next day. I got no phone call no email nothing. I texted in emailed and called, when I called yesterday the person I spoke to said parts would call back in 20 minutes and I never received a call. If I wasnt trying to buy a house Id say screw it and get a Subaru

After my 2018 Hyundai Accent was totaled in a recent accident, I really wanted another Hyundai. I loved that car. I tried to go back to the same dealership I got it from but they did not have any in stock of what I was looking for. So I decided to stop at Route 44 Hyundai.I was greeted by Nathan right at the front door and was told no, no appointment needed, we can help you today. After listening to my story and what I was looking for he brought me my first car to test drive.He got it right the very first car! It had everything and more..... so after test driving I bought it!All the paperwork was done and since it is Saturday my car would not be ready till the end of the week due to registry, car starter installment and a few other touches added.Well got the call on Tuesday from Nathan. Its ready! My car was ready to be picked up. Talk about service. Could not have asked for a better salesman or service. Terrible dealership, first,they had an example on paper of $691mo. payment without running my credit then said the price of the vehicle was going up the next day because their computers werent updated and finallyThey added $4000 to the sticker price because they were having trouble getting inventory. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this dealership. I bought my first new car here in 2009 and was NOT happy at all but I am so pleased things have absolutely changed. I bought a used car in December of 2019 and have loved every second of it. Gary in the service center specifically takes such wonderful care of me each and every visit. Everyone on staff is so kind and helpful with 0 pressure.
Had an overall bad experience at this dealership. the sales rep was great...I gotta give him props because he went above and beyond for a lot of things. The bad experiences I had were all out of his control and due to bad dealership management and security.The sales GM was rude in talking to me just after 2 times and seems like the type who doesnt like it when customers ask a lot of questions and who are trying to understand the process more in depth.If I have to go without a car for 2+ weeks Im going to ask a ton of questions and see if there are legit ways to speed things upLong wait at the dealership after driving an hr+ to get there....and this after price and everything had already been finalized....it was an Hr+ wait just to sign papers.Then to top it off, the weather tech mats that came in the car were supposedly stolen and were not delivered with the car. Also, the car was not detailed at all when it was dropped offSo bad customer service from management and bad basic car management. How does a car get its floor mats stolen and not detailed before its delivered to a customer.

The gave us the car with barely any gas. we had so many miscommunications/misinformation in the end. too many to list. we had just purchased a 2021 palisade a couple weeks beforehand with Mcgovern, & i truly regret not making our second purchase with them, instead of Route 44. Our family will never go back.
I bought my car here in August, sales was great! Communication from service could be better. I brought my car in for its oil change and asked the service technician to check a tire as its pressure was pretty low compared to the others. He said hed give me a call if anything needed to be done for it. I was told my car should be ready in 1-1.5 hours and I left. I called about 3 hours later asking if my car was ready, I was told I need a new tire and it wont be in until Monday, so they asked if they could keep the car for two more days. No one called me to tell me I needed a new tire so I was a little confused and kind of upset no one called to say so. Other than that everything was good!
I purchased my Tucson almost 3 years ago from route 44 hyundai. I received a safety recall from the manufacturer and made an appointment with them to have it taken care of. I was happy to see that almost 3 years later the same sales associate was there. A good sign the company takes care of thier employees. My only complaint is the time I waited was long. But with the current situation the world is in I had to understand precaution to stay safe is important. Id highly recommend anyone who is looking for a vehicle to head over there.
Fantastic customer service at Route 44! I was looking for a Palisade and had an awful customer service experience at a different Hyundai dealer. Everyone I worked with at Route 44 was friendly and responsive. When they said they’d call or do something, they did. When I needed to reach someone by phone, I could. After I picked up my new Palisade, they followed up multiple times to make sure things were going well and see if I had any questions. I’d purchase another car from them in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Rt 44 Hyundai was a dream come true. I couldnt get a loan anywhere. You see all these dealerships that say that you can get a car, no matter if you had bad credit, or no credit, well let me tell you, Ive been to them all, here in the south coast region, and was denied time and time again. I walked into Rt. 44 Hyundai, not getting my hopes up, and next thing I knew, I was approved for a Hyundai Veloster Turbo, 2016. No co-signer, just in my name, I really couldnt believe it. The very next day, they told me it was all set to take home!!! I just switched my plates with basic insurance on to the Velocester with full coverage. I recommend Rt. 44 Hyundai to everyone!!!
Did a great job with my car. Didnt have major work done, just oil change and tire rotation, plus air filters...but it was timely, and professionally done!will return.
Service department great to deal with, BUT still havent been able to fix 2020 Kona after numerous attempts. Cant even get car to pass inspection due to recurring emmisiions problems.Bringing car to Rhode Island dealership that has offered a loaner car and will not call us to pickup until its actually fixed.Its literally been a part time job returning to have same issue every week.Hopefully Hyundai corrects their defects.
Willy, Brad and Joshua are the type of employees car dealerships need. I have now purchased my 4th Hyundai from the rt 44 location, my mother purchased her Hyundai from here and now so has my brother. Their dedication to buyers and sellers does not go unnoticed!
I bought 2 MBenz from this dealership 3/24/21for the last 3 weeks I’ve been back at least 3x per week for the last 3 wks to get these cars serviced. I had to go to another dealership to find out that neither one of the cars were serviced. They refused a car fax when I asked numerous times. I will never recommend this dealership. Currently speaking with a lawyer for the lemon law. Here it is 2 months later, still going through the same mess. The Dealership GM Aaron A. Refuses to abide by the contract and refund us for the purchase of the car. The car is not yet fixed, they claim to has fix it- yet still - same issues. We have reported the dealership to BBB and to the bank that has financed the vehicle- where to they responded to the complaint that the GM states the “customers” are extremely happy with the service.” That’s a blatant lie. We aren’t happy by far. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I scheduled an appointment for 8am and dropped my car off at 7:30am. I was told when I booked the appt that someone would call me to let me know what the plan was by 8:30, because my appy was at 8. It became 11am and I had not heard anything. Spoke with the service secretary and she said she was leaving a message for one of the service guys would call me back. . It then turned to 1pm no response, called and they said the same thing. Then it was 3pm. I called, explained what was going on and was left on hold for 20 minutes, and that is not an exaggeration. Finally one of the guys picked up and said they were just getting to my car now and he told me how much it would be. I expressed my frustration, he apologized.and we ended the call. He called me back an hour later and said the car was ready. I took my rental back to enterprise (their costumer service was phenomenal) I then went over to the dealership and none of the employees in service were wearing masks. He said he applied a coupon for me. It took almost nothing off. Was more of an insult than anything. Anyway, Im just upset with the service I received today, I usually love that dealership but they screwed up today.
Had a recall done and they notified me my mail (snail) and took great care to get it done and made sure Im a happy camper!! Grab a coffee if you need/want one it is free!! Enjoy lOOking without being hassled!! Ask questions and get real not (upsale) answers!! ;) One of the best things about the dealership is Miss Pat W. Shes a credit to the company!! Always eager to answer question and do whatever it takes to keep the customer happy!! Also the new Kid that works cleaning up the insides of the car when all the service folks are done!! Hes new and eager!! A keeper for sure!! Hope the good folks stay!! Thanks for allowing the customer a place to speak!! Oh, and you can look around the cars inside or out on the lot and nobody bothers you!! A good thing for sure!! ;)

The staff at Route 44 Hyundai was exceptional. I had actually visited a more distant dealership earlier in the day and after fifteen minutes waiting for a staff member to notice me waiting, they promptly handed me off to a junior sales team member who was unable to find the vehicle on the lot that I had driven an hour for despite their website showing it in inventory. I left without leaving my info and returned home. A short time later, I noted that a similar vehicle and its 2020 predecessor BOTH appeared in Route 44 Hyundai’s stock. I drove that way and one exit prior, it started snowing. Hard. I arrived at the dealership at 5:00 pm expecting it was a wasted trip. I went to look at a vehicle by the roadside and before I even cleared the snow from the side window to check the sticker, Angelo was there to ask how he could help. I explained my specific interests (demands, really) and Angelo was quick to assess the inventory and see what he had from 2020 and 2021 that would meet my requests. Despite the increasing rate of snowfall and most employers probably kicking their more distal employees free to beat the storm, Angelo stayed and made my my visit to Route 44 Hyundai a priority. Two hours later, I was on the way home with the 2021 Elantra Limited that I had been holding out for. Thank you to Angelo to and all of the staff that ignored the snow fall and worked diligently to make sure that I drove home with the vehicle that I was hoping to find!

So I had a recall. Waited for a call from them that my car was ready. I ended up calling them late afternoon when the guy tells me there are some maintenance not due now but soon. He asked if they should do it. I told them no as I was going to take it to my mechanic who sold the car it was under warranty and he would fix it anyway. I asked.for paperwork he said the computer was down, I asked could he email it and what maintenance would be due soon. Nothing. I have called three times since and each promise to email it immediately and still nothing. I want my paperwork and what maintenance and my car has a noise it didnt have but my guy is going to check my whole car and if I must I Will come to hyundai to get the paperwork. Not good customer service there were two other people complaining while I was there
Love my new car and started out with a great experience with a great salesman. As the day went on they got busier and while I understand there are other people to tend to, things got neglected and the “checklist” of items to be completed before I left were not done. I had to get my own gas and inspection from the sketchy and unprofessional Sunoco they give you vouchers for. I am still finding protective plastic on items in the vehicle (not all super hidden) and I never got a tech run down on my vehicle. Yes I did my research between cars, but it was clear I had some confusion on the difference between specific trims and what was included and didn’t get much education on the vehicle I purchased. I spent hours sifting through the manuals and playing around with it and received an email with guiding videos exactly a week after purchase, a little late in my opinion. The office was quick on getting my registration and relatively quick on giving me a refund for an overpayment (which I was also advised would be altered before payment so that didn’t happen).I was also disappointed, but not surprised, at the blatant sexism when after I purchased the vehicle the salesperson handed the final paperwork to my boyfriend instead of myself, when it was strictly my purchase. Before I left with my new vehicle I was advised to leave a 5 star review, and then had to wait (yes, wait about 5 minutes while we were trying to leave after being there almost all day) for the manager to tell us to give them 5 stars because it only reflects on the salesperson and not other depts [so you’re admitting a flaw in your own system?]I know they asked me to call before giving less than 5 stars but honestly I don’t think anything can reconcile an apathetic performance, and an honest review is more valuable than a fake one. Overall I am happy with my purchase but would suggest the dealership re-evaluate their customer service before I recommend them.Edit: forgot to mention their mask wearing during covid is deplorable. 75% of them wearing it under their nose, our sales associate took his off to drink coffee while he was standing very close to us. I also purchased auto start and have yet to hear from the associate who was supposed to reach out to me (9 days later)
I initially went online to search for cars and had intactions with the sales team. I had a particular car picked out, when I made an appointment to come in. The team at RT 44 Hyundai was great. I purchased the car I wanted and am just waiting for the team at RT 44 to get my registration done so that I can get an inspection sticker and finish the process of getting my car on the road. Let me start off by saying this was my first Experience buying a car. The Sale rep who helped me(Ill leave them unnamed for privacys sake) was wonderful. I had already found the car I had wanted and they explained everything that needed to be done, how everything would work and all that jazz. Overall a wonderful experience with friendly people
Great Dealership. Brought our car in for engine problems. Come to find out it needed a new engine. Didn’t know what to do but Matt from service was able to go to bat for us with Hyundai and was able to get them to pay for the engine! Can’t say enough about this dealer. Would recommend!!
Love love love the Santa Fe. Dealership has a great selection to choose from. Biggest draw back is the sales personnel have little knowledge of the car. I had two sales personnel both tell me there was no spare tire. There is one under the car. Got no education on how all the features work. Thank god for YouTube.Everyone is very friendly but more basic knowledge of vehicles would be good.

Im not a fan. The salesman group around out front before you can even walk in the door, and watch you find a parking spot like a predator. Which already puts me, and since theyre all guys, I imagine a lot of women on edge. The woman that works for service counter is phenomenal though. The guys that work the service counter are pretty typical for mechanics. Thats not a praise or a condemnation, but they are very much like a lot of mechanics Ive dealt with in the past. No surprises there.
