This is the best grocery shop in town. They cost a little extra money, but its worth it for the experience. Their rewards program is a bit interesting. They send some cool coupons in the mail for things you commonly buy. This last weekend, we received a coupon for 12 dollars off a purchase of $80 or more. Additionally, there was a coupon for 20% off their store branded items. I would recommend them over Safeway and Walmart. When I say its a better shopping experience, what I mean is that the place is clean, the staff are friendly, and the products are higher quality.

I shop here a lot, and our YES card has saved us over $1,000 in 3 years. Its always clean and we get fast service. Amazing deals and its well stocked most of the time.

Most everything seemed to be organized well enough and there was a fairly decent selection. The prices were pretty good, and we liked the Starbucks option there too.

Judy in bakery is a true gem. She has always gone above and beyond for me and truly Im no one special. When it comes to events and cakes, she will make the best of what you bring her. Ideas, pictures, even bringing in variously elements, she will do her best to incorporate them all into her final product.

Great grocery store. Prefer over Walmart. Parking lot is tight quarters...I would suggest switching to diagonal parking spaces like Safeway across the street.

I think I spied the manager stocking shelves! The place is spruced up from the FTC format. Starbucks got moved around. Signage and fixtures upgraded. Ask about the YES card.

We dont live in Rapid City but came with my daughter to set up girl scout cookies booths. It was a colder windy day and we had already spent half the day out in the cold. Most places wouldnt allow my daughter to set up her booth inside except for this grocery store here! Not only did they allow her to set up her cookie booth inside, they actually helped her set it up! I was in awe of the kindness we received! Offered their chairs & even a fresh fruit if she wanted! Telling her we want to see you succeed! Just Wow! All I could think was now this is a store I would make the drive to shop at! Thank you so much to those amazing employees & manager for giving my daughter such an amazing experience and for supporting her!

Great selection of groceries. I love their deli. A good selection of salads, desserts, ribs, chicken, meat loaf and assorted baked goods. I think their BBQ baked beans are the best. I really like them.

Normally this store would get 5 stars from me, however today I was treated very rudely by Mary at the costumer service desk over needing a roll of quarters for laundry.Kevin the Manager came up and provided me with the roll of quarters, but then Mary was incredibly rude to him about it! I don’t understand why they let a woman that rude work at the customer service desk when clearly she doesn’t understand what customer services is for. Thank you Kevin for providing me with what I needed without attitude like Mary had!

#2 choice in grocery stores in RC. Not sure why people who shop here cant grasp the concept of social distancing. I feel like I have people trying to sit in my cart every time im here. Shopping over my shoulder, taking up full aisle and going the wrong way, not wearing masks, getting REAL FING CLOSE MAN. But thats not the stores fault... is it?

My wife and I went in to find something for dinner the other night and decided that the brisket in the deli section looked pretty good. We decided on a pound of it, with Greg helping us. He was friendly and more than happy to help us. Not to mention that its some of the best brisket weve had.

I love how nice it is to shop there. Usually not as crowded as other stores. And all the workers are nice and helpful.

I find the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, and Im kicking myself for not remembering the name of the young attendant who was so solicitous of my sister with her broken foot. Unfortunately, I didnt find a lot of what I was looking for, but it is the holiday season and some things are not as easily available. I have tried their order ahead service, and it works beautifully.

I like this little community store. The meat specials are great with fresh cuts offered and onsite butcher to help you with special meat cuts and info. The service here had always been friendly and helpful. Great little store with great sales.

Rudest customer service rep Ive ever seen. If you cant be pleasant when your busy, then you shouldnt be the customer service rep at the front desk.

Its getting close to be like a year of delivering to this location. And every time I arrived they are prepare for my arrival. The lady that works at the flower market is super nice always ask how is my day and how was the drive lets me know if theres any other busy days coming up 😂😂 Im always thankful when she does that get gives me the information I dont keep myself up with it which I should haha but Im always happy to deliver to them

Most of the associates are friendly and welcoming. This is the primary reason we shop there...the secondary reason is convenience.

This location was better before they closed the other locations. It was easy to get in and out and you never felt crowded. Thats no longer the case. The staff is courteous and helpful and they do a great job. The selection is getting better however, the competitor across the street has thing I cant get at Family Fare.

Judy in the bakery did an amazing job on my sons birthday cake! Sent her a picture and was very impressed! Needed it frosted a particular way, so I could add characters and things to make it a SONIC the HEDGEHOG theme! Cake was done very well, tested amazing! Once I picked up and paid for cake, I realized I had no room in my fridge to store for a day, staff was very friendly and offered to store it for additional day and allowed me to pick up the next day! Would recommend the bakery any event!

What an awful grocery store.I asked the woman at the deli counter what was gluten free in her hot foods, and she told me nothing was. Then I found a packaged chicken that was the same as what they were selling in the case. I showed her that the label said gluten free. She became very annoyed and then told me she didnt care what the store did, she was leaving to start school. Good luck lady.

I havent been to a family fare supermarket in my life and i dont know why. If were going off first impressions? This location did it for me. Ive actually opted to stop shopping at Walmart and start shopping here. Was thoroughly impressed by their fresh fruits and vegetables. Havent seen anything like it before. 5 stars through and through.

Will not shop there anymore they advertized lobster as a special from ten to eleven and got there early stood in line and two people ahead of me and was out of lobster before ten very poor

I really like Family Fare. Their produce is fresh with reasonable prices. They carry a good selection of vegan dairy products as well.Items are well stocked and the store is clean. I also appreciate their customer rewards program.

Standard chain grocery store with slightly higher prices in trade for convenience. Does not offer loyalty cards, but has weekly sales in thier distributed ads which everyone can take advantage of. Features a full Deli, Bakery with donuts made daily, a sizable organic and natural foods section, an attached liquor store, and an internal Starbucks. Bonus is a customer appreciation section offering what I understand is free coffee & popcorn, plus you can purchase Coke Freestyle fountain drinks.

Cashier took approximately ten minutes to count out the money I had given, miscounted multiple times before actually saying the correct amount (I was purchasing a gift card so I knew exactly how much money I had), followed by another recounting. He ended up going with the first, wrong total and charging me an extra $5. At that point I didnt even care to argue so I just got the card and left. Not a big deal overall, but the experience was not pleasant.

Im not entirely thrilled about the prices or the quality of the food sold here. The milk I bought went bad a full week before the expiration date.It is convenient to have a bank service inside the store along with a Starbucks. This town is proving that theres no such thing as too many coffee shops, amirite?

Place is clean, open and easy to find products. And always have fresh produce and fruit in the area. The store carries starfruit too.

It has a great selection of fresh produce, good deli prices & a smokehouse brisket that is wonderful from the hot food bar.

More like Safeway, expensive but good for obscure items that you wont be able to find at Walmart Target or the commissary. They have really good bread and about the only place Ive found that has makes sourdough bread like they have in California.
