We took a 92-year-old needlepointed piano bench cover to the framing department at Hobby Lobby in Rapid City. It was in pretty rough shape and we didnt want it to be used (and abused) as a bench cover anymore, but as a work of art. Well, thats what Cindy did. Her expertise in handling, stretching, and framing our needlepoint was outstanding! We selected the frame, mats, and museum glass for this project and it will be a showpiece for many years to come! Thanks, Hobby Lobby, and especially Cindy--their framing guru!

Love Hobby Lobby. Great sale going on through June 28th beating anyone in Rapid, 50% off majority of art supplies had me opening doors to crafts I have not tried to do in 20 years. Some craft supplies were more than anywhere else which was disappointing even with a 30% off yarn sale still more than majority of their competitors regular prices. Fabric was expensive for what I had purchased but I took it anyway rather than ordering online because it was convenient and why not? I was already there.

Was looking for a mermaid tail but found buncha other mermaid goodies. Every time I go to Hobby Lobby, I leave with great deals. #HappyCustomer 😁

Not only do these people have the creative edge they are very warm and friendly too.We had just opened Graceful Touch massage therapy and needed a sign to help attract attention.More like we needed resources to get the sign made.We already had the boards.Turning here we found helpful friendly guidance that pointed us solidly in the right direction.When we discovered that we had over purchased for what our needs were they gladly refunded our monies with a smile.On another occasion I found myself in the picture section of the store and was getting ready to make a relatively pricey purchase. The clerk saw that it wouldnt be what I would need and recommended another idea I hadnt thought of.It was a slam dunk hit for me.Saved me a bundle too I might add. I gladly return here any time Im needing help with the creative edge.

This store has so many cool things. Every time I go, it seems I pick up something, turn a corner, and see something I like better. I found two cute wreaths for 50% off, which is a common thing for this store. They are perfect for a framed art piece I bought a while ago. I could spend hours browsing around!!!!!

The store was clean and the employees was friendly, courteous, and polite. I bought two paint by numbers paintings.

HUGE selection of all sorts of things. Prices are a little higher than average, but the brands are a step up from standard fare as well. Their selection of media for artists is GREAT, fabric selection was a bit small, but for the variety and quality, they still get their 5-star from me. Totally worth checking out, just to look as see all the neat stuff in here.

I go here all the time for various house hold items, art supplies, model building supplies. And happy to see a company that puts the lord first. Hobby lobby is my jam!

I absolutely love going to Hobby Lobby and I dont get to go often because we live too far away. So our trip today was the 1st in 2 years. Splurged and spent a good amount of money, was happy with all we got. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was because of the wheelchair that you have for your disabled customers. Its antique, same chair you have had at your stores for years. Its very unsafe to get out of and the bar under the seat hurts your behind. We actually had to go home after our visit because my husband was in pain after sitting in that chair for maybe 45 minutes. Please consider equipping your stores with electric carts. Walmart has had them for years and we can shop in comfort for a good while. They also are safe getting on and off. I think we would have been able to shop more had he been comfortable. We live 2 1/2 hrs from the store so thats probably the last trip for awhile. But on a good note, thank you Hobby Lobby for all the cool stuff to look at and purchase for our homes

I was in the store for about 45 minutes trying to look for something and everything I asked someone they said that it wasnt their department and they couldnt help me. There wasnt any workers in the department and nobody would help me try to find them or point out where they would be. I was very dissatisfied and unhappy when this happened. I was hoping to find it quick and leave for work. But I ended up looking for 50 minutes and didnt get what i came there for. Very disappointed

Hanna & Kaleb work in the framing department of Hobby Lobby.I went there today 2-12-21 Fridayto look at possibly getting something framed as a gift for someone special and new in my life.I was in kind of a hurry, I wasnt sure what I really wanted. Hanna was pleasantly helpful and showed me matting samples and also frame samples.Kaleb was merchandising and within ear reach of Hannah and I.I had agreed to a two weeknwait on a custom frame job, but was still hoping to het it done sooner as Valentines day is quickly approaching.I wanted to gift my friend on Valentines day.I looked at frames after talking to Hanna. W finding what I was looking for .With Hanna and Kalebs help, I found a frame and matting that was done in one day.Thank you so much.Theses two are a credit to Holly Lobby.I hope you recognize them for there good work.

Hobby Lobby is a nice place to buy some craft supplies and tti look at finished projects and get your own ideas. But their finished products are a bit on the spendy side.

I went to get fabric for my senior Toga and I was helped by two of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met! They made my day so much better and made my mood amazing!

I went to hobby lobby looking for some painting supplies. I was standing near the cashier area getting ready to check out. While waiting I saw what appeared to be the manager walk up to one of the cashiers and just started ripping into her... Im a nosey person and I was curious what was being said so I started eves dropping. The manager was humiliating the employee for using a 40% of coupon on an item that it wasnt supposed to be used on.Now I dont know the back story to hobby lobby coupons. But this manager was downright humiliating her own employee in front of other cashiers. Which is first off a terrible way to manage employees. Addressing issues should always be done 1 on 1.The worst part of it was the I heard that this was all over 2 candy bars.... Reallly??? Are you telling me this manager probably ruined that cashiers day over 2 candies? Find new managers Hobby lobby you dont want to keep those type of people around.

I get into WAY too much trouble here. I spend at least an hour in the store, looking for items that I had no idea I was needing. Such fun!

There was a great deal of 50% off of fine touch and master touch products and I liked that.

Long lines slow service. Will shop online in the future for my painting supplies.

I found everything I was looking for and the employees were really nice. However, we noticed that they were doing the bare minimum effort for the social safety. Some of the employees were not wearing masks, there really wasnt any tape or anything around to stay safe distances except at the check out.

They always have a lot of stock, good prices, friendly staff. Would be 5 star but they chose not to pay for certain things on their employees insurance. Religion needs to be checked at the door when youre in business. Just do the right thing. This also affects their hours. Sunday is a day I like to shop

This particular Hobby Lobby has got some pretty good stuff and inspiration items. You want high end paints and canvases, this is the place. You need some cardboard houses and models, stop on by. They have a large selection of wall decorations and glass wear. Seriously come on in and get inspired.

This is a huge store! And what a selection!! I always find what Im looking for and enjoy browsing through all their unique home decor items. They have great sales that seem to be on a regular rotation so if you miss it this time, its on sale again in a couple months. I also like that theyre closed on Sunday; more businesses should observe this practice.

So thankful for this store and all the options available. I was able to decorate for my sons graduation party with one stop here. Paper goods, unique signs and photo albums and a few other cake items. It saved me so much time!

Had what I was looking for and able to find without too much difficulty. Fairly good selection of heavy duty fabric. Excellent help at cutting table, reminded me of the really great fabric store help in Germany. Recommend using this store for staff.
