I went in after lack of sleep and running on overdrive all day. My sugar level was low and I was frazzled. The ladies were very helpful. One was a little short with me once. (She might have thought I was a Karen) I was a whirlwind.As I was checking out, I handed my phone to her and she handed it back. Without thinking, I placed it in my pocket. As I was paying, I mentioned that it seemed a little high. She asked if I had coupons or the app (just as I had finished). I told her I had given her the phone... This is when she seemed a little irritated. Ill have to return everything and reenter it. She mentioned the fabric slips and not having them. I asked where they were. She had crumpled and thrown them away. (This would make it harder on her) She started the refund and then purchase along with discount this time. Someone came up behind me in line. I turned around and apologized for the delay. It took 15 minutes to complete the transition. The clerk thanked me for my patience. No big deal. It was kinda both our fault. It was worth it to me for the discount.

It was easy to find staff for help. Im new to quilting, so their expertise was very helpful. They also made sure all appropriate coupons were applied, which saved me money!

Great place for fabric needs. Great selection of fleece. Staff is pleasant and helpful if you ask. Fabric cutting lines can get lengthy at times, be mindful if your within time restraints.

Beautiful and bountiful variety of fabrics. Theyve made a nice expansion into several other crafts since Ive been here last. I like it!

I have to update my review. Since writing this review the store manager directly made ‘good’ on the issue. I very much appreciate her direct attention. I can only hope that Corporate Joann would improve their policies and support the local stores. The issues stem from poor corporate management.

Clean store with a huge selection! Clerks on the floor were very knowledgeable. No issues with the coupon I used and it always seems like they have some sort of discount offer.

Was not a huge fan of this store.1. Its way to small2. They didnt have what I needed even tho all the other joann stores ive been to across the country have what I needed.3. Employees werent all that friendly. Pretty rude and unknowledgeable about the products they even carried.

Awful !!!!! Finally today is last straw. Every time shopping at Joanns, they advertise getting bonus for spending and coupons. Then their are so many restrictions & conditions that it costs more. I am so frustrated with Joanns and their seemingly intentional confusing policies that I feel taken advantage of as a customer. This was the LAST time!!! There are other better store choices. Especially as the inventory and quality are also low. Former customer.

A+ for implementing the required masks to shop. B for lack of yarn inventory. F. For the buy three get two free yarn. I only wanted to buy three and take one free you wouldnt let me get one free you made me go back to get a second one which I had to get something I would never use and you guys sell it for $4.99. Why would you not let me take just one? No sense at all.

Love this place. I could stay for hours! So much fabric, and patterns.

Im a professional hand quilt maker and hand quilter plus I also make bracelets I do clay pipes and I also make blow gun darts. This is where I get my supplies. Mainly I get my quilt material, muslin and batting.

This store has basically everything you need for crafting. And the staff are all very helpful and nice. You could spend hours in here going through all the fabrics. Be sure to look for coupons or discounts though, otherwise might be fairly expensive. They always have some kind of deal going on and several racks of discounted items though so youll find what you want/need

Anna or anne that cuts the fabric was very rude. I loved coming to shop here until that lady treated my mother with disrespect for no reason. I can take my business else where.

The products were good. I found everything I was looking for. However, when I walked in along with my grandma, a lady at the register asked both of us to take a cart. I understood that so they could keep track of the number of people in the store. I did not understand why we were the only ones asked to do that. There were other people in there with groups of two and they only had one cart. And more came in after us. The lady never asked them to take another cart. I felt embarrassed pushing around a cart when I didnt need to.

I love this store, they almost always have what I am looking for. Good thing we have this store for us crafter because we dont have alot of places to shop for these kind of things.

Good service, but organized by color rather than by material type which makes it difficult to find what you need. I think they are catering to quilters rather than to home sewers, plus they have expanded the craft section from the Hancock they replaced, which has cut down on the material availability.

Awesome customer service

I like the variety they have. Unfortunately they are proud of their fabric as the prices show. Even using a coupon doesnt help enough to be able to make things at home. So sad. Hobby Lobby has some good fabric prices as well as sewing notions.

Pretty good fabrics selection here. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Their sales do make purchases much more reasonable for people on a budget. Some things are overpriced though, its hard to justify making something when you can buy it manufactured for much less. Im not sure how stores like these manage to stay in business. Making clothes and fabric projects are a dying art (pun intended, youre welcome). I love to come here just to look and get inspired with my yarn creations.

Decent selection in sewing supplies and notions. Wish Joanns carried better quality natural fiber fabric. Staff here are usually either grouchy or inexperienced.

This is a very small store. No planner section that I saw or the cashier was aware of. This was disappointing as I was excited about the Joanns exclusive Happy Planner line. The floral section is very limited however, they have some of the nicest, most realistic florals Ive seen and all the wires, tapes, pins and other tools one needs.

There is a never-ending supply of material, yarn, and crafting stuff in this place. For me personally as the husband of a wife who loves this kind of stuff I appreciate the chair that I could sit in as well as the licorice that was for sale at the front desk.

Hard to find things, however delightful staff

Although Im formerly from Dallas, Texas, where the JoAnn Fabrics stores are bigger, with bigger departments, Im pleased the variety in this store. I wish the yarn department were larger, and I eagerly await the arrival of individual skeins embroider thread, as told to me at todays visit in Rapid City.

I was looking for some ribbing to put around the top of some toddlers slippers, the young lady at the cutting counter mumbled and pointed, I was like what? She repeated herself but did not offer to show me where the ribbing was at, I was the only one at the counter and one of maybe 3 customers. Ar check out I told the clerk that I didnt find everything, she told me vague places, but didnt offer to help me, I was the only customer at check out. 3 employees in the store and no body could stop what they where doing and help me find some ribbing.Why does this store always disappoint me when I go in? When you have more employees in the store then customers I should have gotten help.100% of your business is rated by customer service.Your employees need to do much better then they do in Rapid City SD.Im big into custody service, when I operated 3 tax offices my employees and I were known for the customer service. We were 2nd to none.

Beautiful place for what youre looking for

I had called prior to driving all the way there to see if they had a specific item. The person that answered the phone said oh sure we have that. Well, I couldnt find it when I arrived, looked on their site and it said it was in stock at this store. I asked for assistance, and she couldnt find it. I asked why when I called I was told they did have it and it says in stock on your site. She said she didnt know and walked off.

I was overcharged. Clerk rang up one item twice and 2 items did not get the discount. Now I have to return with my purchase to get it straightened out which means I cant start on my project.

I love going to JoAnns they have so many neat things and the ladies Are so helpful. I was just a LITTLE disappointed that they dont have more crochet thread.

Twice I have been here and twice it took me half an hour to find someone to get me checked out. Nothing put away staff in the back arguing on the phone.

Found a really cool needle storage tube on clearance with a magnetic twist dispenser. And a number of cheap patterns.

I got upholstery needles. They were affordable. I went to several places before this one to find something.

It has beautiful variety of things. The prices are on the spendy side if youre trying to make clothes.
