I took my fusion hybrid there for factory recall issue I received. They handled in quickly and politely.I had also asked them to look at a window seal issue my vehicle had. They did and I got this response:We cant fix it, we dont have any manual details on how to fix it (so I asked for recommendedations and the gentleman recommended a body shop).Why doesnt a Ford service location know how to fix a (newish 2014) Ford??? Seems funny to hear, sorry we dont fix Fords and this Ford Service location.

All the staff were very helpful! We were stranded 1000 miles from home our car died and no rentals were available. The staff were very capable and got us a new car financed it and had us on the by the afternoon, my husband even made it to work the next day! I would absolutely recommend McKie Lincoln.
Made an appointment to look at a vehicle with one of the sales people. Sales person stated that he would email and text me additional info on the vehicle and a list of other inventory under 10,000 (even though he was told 6,000 was my budget for my teenagers car) however none of this was ever done anyway. Received a call on the day of the appointment for a second sales person telling me the vehicle that we had made an appointment to look at had been sold prior to me even making the appointment in the first place. Planned my day around this. There are many other car dealers in the area, I’m definitely not working with these guys again.
Thank you guys for the awesome experience. Corey and Leslie were great to work with, and very friendly. I remember my Grandpa telling me years ago that salesmen would walk through features of the vehicle with you, but I had never experienced that - until yesterday. Corey walked me through the car after purchase, and made sure we got my FordPass set up before we left. Leslie made paperwork fun, and we had lots of laughs while doing it. Overall, just a great experience. We wont be needing a vehicle again for a while, but we will be back to you when we do!
We stopped here when our maintenance light began flashing intermittently and asked for help scanning any codes that our Ford truck computer had left to explain the issue. The service managers/liaisons tried a number of basic code scanners and did not come up with anything. As we later learned, there are a number of codes that a basic code scanner will not pick up, but the service manager insisted that there were no codes at all. He suggested keep driving until the check engine light comes on and then we can see what is wrong. Luckily we did not listen to his advice. We went to another shop and they quickly scanned the relevant code and replaced the faulty part. We had expected the highest quality of knowledge at a Ford dealership, but were very disappointed by the help we received.

We purchased a 2021 Lincoln Aviator yesterday at McKie and had the BEST experience! The two gentlemen we dealt with were downright fun and personable while still maintaining professionalism the entire time. Our salesman, Evan Martinez, was respectful of our time, eager to answer our questions, and made sure we knew the features of our new vehicle thoroughly. Once we decided to purchase the Aviator, Wayde Walther somehow managed to make the paperwork seem like a party!😂 While we didn’t know either of these gentlemen before our purchase, after spending an hour with Evan, we WANTED to buy a car from him instead of continuing to shop around other dealerships. We couldn’t be happier with how everything went out at McKie!
The service department was very quick and efficient to work with. I worked with Ryan, who was excellent at staying in contact and letting me know exactly where my car was at in the process, so I was never left wondering if there was any progress being made or not. On top of that, Ryan was also able to get my car done almost a whole month earlier than scheduled. I was originally scheduled for August 19th, but got a phone call on July 30th saying my car was done! Overall, an incredibly efficient service department, that’s trying their very best to get your issues fixed as soon as possible.

Worst service department Ive ever dealt with. I never buy Ford, but unfortunately my work van is a Ford. They told me I would have to make an appointment 4 weeks out to get a code read. I took it to auto zone and got it done in 2 minutes. On another occasion I told them the issue with my van (had another code read elsewhere) and they told me they didnt know what a sticking clutch solenoid was and I had to describe exactly what the van was doing for their mechanics too be able to diagnose the issue. Absolutely worthless service department. Save your money and never buy a Ford.
We were traveling through on an 8-week RV trip and had to get our 2020 F-150 serviced - oil change and tire rotation. McKie was close to where we were dropping our pets for their needed baths so it was convenient. Used the express lane and was checked in my a nice gentleman (sorry weve forgotten his name) who had recently returned from our home state of Florida where he had been on vacation. Was told it would be a few hours and it was. Nice comfortable waiting room, though my wife, who was hungry, would have liked a snack machine. The free soda and coffee was another nice treat. Our costs at the end of the day was a 1/4 of the price we normally pay at our dealership in Florida - something I plan to mention next time I visit them. Having our Service done at McKie was a good experience and were we to be in the area again and needed service or parts, we would definitely stop at McKies.

Great experience every time with our cars being serviced or repaired here. Took my Explorer into the Quicklane and had oil changed and battery replaced in less than an hour. Also great service with my other car when it was having issues. Prioritized necessary repairs with out forcing us to do unnecessary things. Ryan and Steve took fantastic care of us!

Absolutely most unhelpful and rude service center I have ever called in an emergency. Can’t even find time for an EASY 30-40 min stranded repair, and are “allegedly” booked out for over a month. Don’t call here period. Fix your management and attitudes.

I have had my vehicle serviced many times at the McKie Ford facility in Rapid City and the service has always been wonderful. Great people in your employ. This visit was a recall on the NOX system. I arrived a few minutes prior to my scheduled appointment and was taken care of immediately. My service writer, Mr. Baskerville handled all the details and explained to me what was going to take place with my vehicle. I was surprised when I was notified that all checks had taken place and the vehicle was ready to go. The whole process did not take long at all. Very well planned operation. Thank you.

Not a lot of vehicles on the lot to choose from! Didnt seem to want to help you out to much, unless you walked in with a perfect credit score or several thousand in your pocket! Just my opinion.

Joe Sullivan and staff went above and beyond for me when I needed recall service work done on my Taurus. I inadvertently put the time of my appointment in my calendar incorrectly and I arrived 15 minutes late for the appointment. Joe rearranged things in the shop to fit me in even though it was my mistake in arriving late. I had an online meeting that I needed to join while my car was being serviced. The waiting area at McKie Ford was comfortable and had a private business center for me to participate in the meeting without interruption. I recommend McKie Fords service department for their top-notch customer service and attention to detail that makes the customer feel appreciated.
I was told 1 hour for an oil change and tire rotation. After 2 hours I was told they are busy and working on it. They were not friendly or nice or worth talking to. I will never visit this dealership again

Upon taking my truck in for an oil change I requested my air filter be checked and replaced if needed. The technician put in the comments of my service report that the air filter was good. Upon my inspection after leaving the dealer I saw the filter minder indicated a good filter (they are inaccurate and not to be trusted from personal experiences) so I remove the filter and checked it and what I found is a filter FULL of dust and grime. I changed my air filter myself. I doubt I will be revisiting this dealer in the future as I can see the quality of work preformed here. As an add on this is not the first time this dealer failed to check an air filter a coworker of mine experienced this same scenario less than 2 months ago he was told the air filter was a part of their inspection so no need to add it on, he was experiencing low mileage and I told him to check his air filter and what we found was his filter was caked in dust and grime after replacing the air filter his mileage returned to normal. If you care about quality of work and your requests being fulfilled I recommend visiting another local dealer that cares about the quality of work turned out of their shops.
Im glad that most of you had a good experience with McKinleyYes I was able to get a truck. They found a company to finance me. BUT the truck I got I found out in time needed front wheel bearing c.d. player doesnt work,air filter held down with zip ties,one tire worn . I was told its o.k. our technician looked it over I was given a tank of gas and 40.. for dinner because I was there all day not close to how much I spent to fix the certified technician to have the truck ready. Dont think Ill be back.. not even for service.. the technician who gave the o.k. gave all technicians a bad name ...as for the sales rep. He should have doubled check everything.
A terrible experience start to finish. Go elsewhere. If you do choose them double check everything as they will try to rush you to sign things they have changed without your knowledge. Very unprofessional management. That goes for the service department as well. Avoid using them at all cost they’ll cost you more money with their mistakes than it’s worth.

When I called in he could tell I was frustrated because who likes car problems nobody and he was so helpful and knowledgeable about what was happening with my car. He even called and got my car in and fixed two days early! How awesome and thank you for the help!

This is the best auto dealship. I have purchased vehicles from them in the past and always received great service. My latest purchase yesterday was completed by the sales representative Greg Woolridge, he was very helpful, professional, friendly, reviewed everything, knew everything about the vehicle, I or my son didnt have any questions and my son knows vehicles and mechanics so this says a lot about Gregs knowledge as it was excellent, had the carfax information without us asking, I had no questions as he did an excellent job, never pushy and stated he would not do that. He was very quick and efficient, sat and treated me, my son and his girlfriend like he knew us, visiting with us, laughing, making us laugh, I am never this comfortable with strangers but he was like someone I had always known. This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle, he was excellent and an expert at what he does. I had the best car buying experience ever! I have always been a fan of McKie Fords service department, Joe is awesome in that department. This was my first experience with the sales side though. Our salesman Dean was great! I had zero intentions of purchasing that day but I felt so comfortable with Dean that I knew it was the right time. We then moved on to the financing department, this is traditionally where you start to feel sold to. This was not the case at all, Wade, their Business Manager was great. Wade was very knowledgeable and laid out our options clearly. I didnt know that ford had so many great warranty options. I somehow walked away from the deal with a 7 year warranty! I cant say enough about my excellent buying experience! And Im happy I still get to be taken care of by their stellar service center. Thanx McKie!
I can not explain say how amazing the team at McKie ford is. Jeff was an amazing sells man. He answered all of my questions and kept me up to date on everything. Jeff made me feel so comfortable that I was not worried about a thing. And the finance lady (I can not remember her name) was a true true blessing. She explained every document and protection plans, and also gave advice on how to build up our credit.Now this is where McKie ford really excelled. Bought a used Ford Ranger from them and an hour after I got it off the lot the truck started falling apart. They tried to hide from me that the truck was actually a salvage title, then after we negotiated price they told me they’d keep the badly cracked windshield on unless I paid more. After I took the truck off the lot, the speedometer broke within an hour and the best they could do was get me an appointment almost 2 weeks out and said they’d need a $96 diagnostic fee for a problem that should be a quick fix (wiring issue) in addition to any labor and parts. They no joke tried the black electrical tape over the check engine light trick, which I found once I got home. Since purchasing this vehicle the airbag fail light is on and the windshield wipers no longer function. Classic case of shady sales, held the truck together with spit and prayers just long enough to trick me. Don’t go here.

Yesterday, when I bought a vehicle from Mckie, it was a wonderful experience. From start to finish, it was a no pressure transaction.I was especially impressed by Matt Scotts attitude. Even though I had previously talked with Leo Joseph, Matt treated me as if I was his customer. He could have easlity taken the sale for himself, but madesure Leo recieved credit.In the cutthroat commission world we live in, it was refreshing to see a fellow employee/friend take care of the sale the way he did.I want to thank Matt, and I am sure Leo appreciates Matts friendship .

I have always been satisfied with this department and have never had any bad service or advice or work done on my vehicles. Derrick Crouse my service advisor, and the technician assigned to my truck. quickly identified several parts that were far past their service life. Everyone was professional and courteous, and provided me with a thorough estimate of service, including cost. Repairs were completed the next day earlier than expected, and at the price quoted. Now my steering is tight and front end shimmy is no longer a worry. Thanks, to the professionals at McKie.

I recently bought an F-350 diesel from Mckie Ford.I had scoured the internet for weeks in a 300 mile radius of Rapid City, SD looking for a good deal on a truck.I needed a good Pre-owned diesel 1 ton. To pull a trailerI retired 6 months ago from 23 years in the car business and moved to Florida.The last 14 years were with Mckie Ford in sales.We flew back to Rapid City to sell our house and move our belongings.The day before our flight arrived, I found a great deal on a truck. Todays prices are a bit Crazy.This truck was on Mckies website, of all the dealerships out there.The day we arrived I headed over to Mckie to look at the truck. It was a fresh trade and hadnt arrived yet.Worrying about missing out on a great deal, I purchased it anyway.In todays market, you have to move fast, or risk losing a good deal.When the truck arrived, it was exactly what I expected.Mckie was very diligent in prepping the vehicle for delivery.From a consumers view, I was very pleased with how Everything went.From sales to service to the business office, everything was professional and courtious.Hats off to Mckies teamI would recommend them to anyone.Id like to thank all of you for a Great experience.It was good to see all of you again. 😎👍
This was a very good experience as far as purchasing a pickup and coming out of the dealership feeling good about the deal I got. The salesmen were excellent. Leo and Jeff answered all my questions and never high pressured for a sale. They were very professional. The financial closing went well and they gave me an excellent financial rate for the remaining balance. 70 years old and I have punched a lot of vehicles for myself, wife and daughters. Very good experience and I’m sure I’ll be back.
I purchase a used car yesterday for $5100. I made it four miles from the dealership when it overheated. I contacted the salesman immediately he advised not his problem. It took me three hours yesterday to make it eight miles to my home. It is reasonable to assume a vehicle purchased would at minimum take you safely home after purchase. I dont feel my assumption expectation are outrageous. I believe Jeff Kappel was only concerned with his Commission instead of a satisfied customer. So after purchasing a vehicle oh, I effectively have a large paper weigh in my driveway. I assumed erroneously got a dealership would stand behind what they sold. Just like Dan Brehmer from Brehmer Auto did. Several years ago I purchase a used car from him. The day after purchase transmission started to slip. I contacted him immediately and he had me bring it right over. We then worked out a satisfactory arrangement treating that car for a different car of equal value. I was more than satisfied and honestly I assume but every dealership would have the same integrity and value their customers. I will not ever purchased another vehicle from Mickey Ford. I plan to advise any person and every person that I can to avoid McKie Ford for any purchase.

The job was done well - I had a water pump and thermostat replacement done on the road and they did not use standard Ford Parts. So, the engine was running warm at times. McKie installed the right parts, and it ran like it was new. The dealership itself was also a plus. I appreciated having access to the TV remote, so that I could turn down the volume and concentrate on what I was doing. I even ran into an employee unloading new Fords in the parking lot, and we talked a little bit about the new F150s. All in all, if you have to have service work done, McKie is a good place to be. We were on vacation and had our check engine light come on and needed to have it checked. They said that the next available appointment was July 15th! 3 weeks out we have to travel 3000 miles to get back home. Sometimes things come up unexpected. Employee very RUDE!

The culture of the dealership was refreshing. Pricing starts very fair so no need for common manipulation experience of other dealerships. The culture is one of professional customer service with friendly staff. Daquan was very helpful and I never felt as though he was trying to push anything to make the sale. Best car buying experience I have had since purchasing vehicles for the past 3 decades. This is the dealership review I have ever submitted. I rarely submit reviews but this was well earned. Can not recommend this business any higher. Zero complaints. If I need to purchase another vehicle this will be the first place I consider.
Great work by Derrick, my service advisor. Had a strange problem and needed a part that was not in stock. Due to storms in CO, parts were hard to get. He got the part from somewhere and got me back on the road most ricky tick!
I had a wonderful experience and was treated with kind friendly people and respect that I was expecting. The sales rep that helped me, Joshua D. Hansen, was extremely helpful to find a perfect truck that I was there to hopefully find. Joshua took the time to take me across town to show me a truck that was at a detail shop so that I would be able to see that on the day I was in town. Steve, your service writer has always done a great job for me. This visit I went back to parts to have them look up some fuses, Jeff spent the time needed to look up exactly what ones I needed. This really saved me because I would have bought the wrong ones at a parts store. Great job Jeff.
