Good customer service is listening to and meeting the needs of a customer. GREAT customer service is treating a customer with dignity and respect as a person. Through a set of circumstances my car was towed to Courtesy for an emergency service and I ended up staying at Courtesy for 5 hours (not their fault). The salesperson, Carol, went way beyond just great customer service and showed empathy and kindness to me as a person, not just as a potential sale. I was so impressed that I ended buying a vehicle for my daughter...something I had not planned at all. All the other employees there were also very professional. If you need a car, ask for Carol. You will not be disappointed.
Everyone knows buying a car can be a stressful experience, but I am pleased to report Matthew Anagnostopulos of Courtesy Subaru is a hands-down exception and works hard to make car buying a pleasant experience.Courtesy Subaru has been around for a while and they dont feed you with a lot of hype. But, theyre a car dealer. Its their job to move cars; not necessarily get you the best deal. Thats where Matthew excels! He cares about the customer and stood up to management and helped craft a deal where everyone was satisfied. While I planned on just selling my truck, I ended up getting the price I wanted AND bought a car my wife loves. Ive got another car to sell and Im going to Matthew to put the deal together.Id give Courtesy Subaru Five Stars due entirely to the effort Matthew took to ensure it was a good deal.
Jason the salesman came in on his day off to show me a vehicle close to closing due to my work schedule. Then still went on a test drive and stayed to help me pick a vehicle that was being delivered. He listened and didn’t pressure me and up sale me. He then messaged me on his day off and came in near closing time to deliver the vehicle and stayed through the whole process. Super impressed these guys went above and beyond and didn’t bat an eye. Best price for my trade in town. Friendly and easy to work with.
They are always very helpful, and do a good job. When I needed a loaner or courtesy vehicle for a few hours they provided it.
I purchased my first NEW car from Courtesy Subaru. Every step of the way during the purchasing process and follow up have been above par.The sales staff were friendly and helpful, finances were quick and painless, and the service department has been exceptional.I have had the car in for routine maintenance and warranty work, and have had excellent service each time.I am a fan and they have won my loyalty.Thank you for all you do. You do it well!
I cant express ENOUGH how awesome this place is. My car broke down during a road trip through the Black Hills and the crew in the Service bay went above and beyond to get my engine rebuilt while communicating with me the entire time. They also allowed me a rental vehicle for no charge so I wasnt completely stranded and washed and vacuumed my car for me when I finally picked it up. If you are near Rapid and need any help with your car, give them a call. You wont regret it.
I bought my Subaru used in Oklahoma and didn’t have any holes to attach a front plate. Unsure of what to do I took my car into the people here and was immediately told they could attach my plate for me! After the service I went to pay and they said they did it free of charge!! Great people and nice facilities.
Courtesy Subaru service advisors are always nice and ready to help. Was quick for the work being done and always kept me informed. Great place.
Edited: The company graciously reached out to me and gave me the deal the sales guy promised. So I raised their review from 1 to 5 stars. I appreciate companies that follow through on their word. Thanks!Orignial Review:I called to confirm that I could get 0% financing because I saw it on Subaru.com. My sales guy Scott confirmed it after speaking to his finance guy. But when I took delivery, he said he could not honor the deal. I really like my Ascent. But the purchasing process was sub par; A+ car with a C- sales process.
Purchased our first Subaru today and would highlyrecommend courtesy Subaru to anyone. Scott was our sales consultant and he was so easy to work with. Cami the business manager was also fantastic and they really worked to make sure we got a good deal. We also got great trade in value for our car. By far beats any dealership we’ve ever worked with.
I was driving from Badlands NP to the Black Hills on my way to Seattle when the check engine light came on. Since my Forester is 11 years old and I still had a long way to go, I stopped at Courtesy Subaru. Dewayne greeted me at the service desk, told me they were flat out and booked into next week. Then he grabbed the computer scanner, diagnosed the problem as an after-market gas cap, got me a new one, reset the car’s computer, and sent me on my way within 15 minutes. I paid for the gas cap but he wouldn’t even accept payment for his time. He was incredibly courteous and kind. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you!
Excellent service, friendly and honest! I thought I needed new front breaks (92,000 miles and squeaky). Turns out they were fine and didnt need replacing. I truly appreciate honest mechanics and service techs. Thanks for a great experience. I will use this dealership for all my services.
I just moved to Rapid City and Im very glad this Subaru dealer is top notch. Im used to great service from my previous Subaru service center and this one is on par.
I cant even begin to explain the amazing experience we had here. We knew what we wanted for the most part when pulling into the parking lot. Not once did Jason, our sales consultant, try and talk us into something else. It was a quick, easy, and professional purchase. All staff members involved were super friendly and stayed past closing with no sign of annoyance to help us drive away in our new car the same day. We will be returning here for any future car purchases because it honestly just felt comfortable which isnt always the case when purchasing a new vehicle. Thank you, Jason and Cami! We LOVE our new forester.
Couldnt have been more impressed with the Courtesy Subaru experience! They worked on our Outback last-minute after it broke down on I-90. Because were from out of town, they did everything they could to assess the issue and then replace the entire transmission as quickly as possible. They even provided a loaner free of charge. Thank you!!
Courteous, through and address all my issues with the car! Will always return to this dealership with concerns! Jason made the visit and help very easy for me!Thank you for the excellent work & detail!
This place is amazing. My wife stopped here with some interest in a Subaru. Jason spent time with her showing the vehicle she was interested in. Then he showed her vehicles that were comparable that she may like. We looked at other brands in other locations but Jason sold her on the idea of the safety of Subaru along with great salesmanship without pressure. The next day that she returned, Jason wasnt available so Ryan showed my wife and I the same vehicles, explaining again the ins and outs of the vehicle and how Subaru is. Then we completely changed our minds and decided to pursue another vehicle and go new not used.... We found a better price at a competing dealership. We came back a third day and spent the whole day test driving, looking through inventory, and bargaining numbers to match the competition....all while they entertained our impatient 7 year old. Even one of the owners helped keep him occupied with her wonderful dog Lucy. In the end we went home in a brand new Subaru and got a fair price for our trade in. This place was great and we look forward to being part of the Subaru family and getting our services done at this location.
Jason Perrett sold me a vehicle (Subaru Forester) during one of the most trying times in my life - a move across the country to Rapid City. From the moment we began speaking, Jason was informative, understanding, and extremely helpful in assisting me in finding the best car that would meet my needs in a city whose terrain and weather I was not familiar with. Jason was a consistent help for me during the process of choosing my car - from his impeccable knowledge of every model’s safety features to the smallest details that came with each and every car that I had questions about, and was interested in.Without a doubt, Jason Perrett is an honest, comforting, and knowledgeable salesperson who made my purchase both seamless and enjoyable. I’m thoroughly happy with the vehicle I’ve purchased from him and I highly recommend asking for Jason personally when calling this dealership.
Love the Subaru Crosstrek. It saved my life.
We met a very rude salesman that told us we would not find everything we are looking for in a car for the price range. He argued with us about a few things before we left.We drove down the road and found exactly what we were looking for at another dealership.
Overall I find that they have great service, I recently had my tires rotated and they failed to change the tire pressure on the front and back tires. If they’re working with these cars all the time they should know that some of the vehicles require higher tire pressure for the front tires.
My husband and I went over on Saturday, after deciding spur of the moment, to buy a Subaru Legacy we saw on the website. We were 2 hours away & got there later than planned. We had called Andy & completed the paperwork online beforehand. Andy stayed late & welcomed us graciously. He let me test drive the car and was very patient & informative while going through all the paperwork & instructions for it. He then took us on a drive & showed us how to operate the cars systems. He gave us top notch service!Bren & Darrel Ray
I went to Courtesy Subaru after I lost my vehicle in a accident. There vehicles were well priced and my saleswoman Carol was very friendly. Not pushy. Just answered my questions. I picked my vehicle and worked with Cami to get my loan taken care of. Cami was very helpful and funny. I felt right at home in her office. Highly recommend doing business here!!
Had a tire repair recently that was a result of a cracked rim. I dont believe I caused it and think it may have happened during the tire changing process or from a factory defect . Explained that to service but I was told nothing could be done and I paid the $191 for a new rim .
We love this place. Excellent customer service. Excellent follow up. Couldnt ask for a better experience
As a small auto shop owner I know the Issues we have faced in 2020 and I must say Subaru is really on top of their game. I am impressed by the customer service that they have provided - I am impressed by the inventory that is kept on hand and I am impressed by the the customer service the staff has provided. This is the best place to do business within the Rapid City area when it comes to a dealership - they provide a great product in every aspect, a vehicle, a part or service. I wish I could give them 6 stars - this company is over the top. Thank You
Kinda disappointing with the way it all started and the process. We were hoping for a better experience, but in the end were VERY pleased we have a new 2021 WRX STI!!!!!
We chose a 2020 Forester and Taqualun Norris met our every needs. He provided excellent service and guidance as we chose our fantastic new vehicle. Within 2 weeks of purchase we embarked on a 4,000 mile journey to the west coast and many stops in between. On our trip we averaged 32.3 miles per gallon going on expressway, mountain passes and rolling through the Redwoods on highway 101. An amazing journey as only a Subaru can offer. Thanks Taqualun and Courtesy Subaru.
Great car buying experience. Andy was friendly help that answered our questions with a smile and no pressure. He made sure we realized how popular the car we were looking at was so we could lock it down. The financing process was quick and easy too. And we got a great used Subaru out of it all! 👏👍
Always great service. Never any hidden charges or issues.
I had to get the passenger airbag replaced in my legacy because of a recall. They finished it in 45 min, and they found $25 that got back there from the glove box. I really appreciate how fast and honest the people were.
Good Subaru dealer. Theyre attentive to their customers and answer any questions you may have. Test drive is available. And the staff is very helpful.
I was in from out of state and needed an oil change and a plate mounted on the front of my Outback. They got me in for service at the time I needed. More importantly, I was greeted professionally and spoken to respectfully. I felt very comfortable with the service performed and my Outback is running great. Will definitely be back for service here when Im in the area.
I come all the way from North Dakota for the service here. Sure, theres closer ones but I can take a nice weekend trip. Dropping my car off Friday morning, pick it up that afternoon, and enjoy the Black Hills
Staff was super friendly and transparent. I came in for an oil change and AC recharge and the latter turned out to be more than just that. They showed me the work and parts needed to fix it and laid out my options. Spent more than I was expecting to but to no fault of the staff. Overall great experience.
Great staff and service. They were able to work me in knowing I was going to be driving out of state. Very satisfied with my fixed car
My partner brings in her 2015 crosstrek for service like she has always done since shes had the car brand new. Except this time she had a coupon for a $65 oil change, after it was all said and done they charged her $110 dollars AFTER applying the coupon. There is no oil change in the Subaru family of cars that cost $175. Three things could account for this. They took advantage of a person that trusted them and doesnt know about cars or The coupon had some scummy fine print that I didnt see (if so shame on me) or they made a mistake, lets hope it was a mistake so I can revise this review.
We have always had an excellent experience with Courtesy Subaru for routine service and warranty repairs. Very helpful staff.
Ive purchased multiple vehicles from the sales team and have had them all serviced here as well. Phenomenal customer care.
Were a repeat customer due to the helpful staff, great service, and fair deals.
Purchased a vehicle from them that was 3 years old. Less than 100 miles later the throttle body went out and they said there was nothing they could do. Moral of the story; it cost me $1,000 to have fixed elsewhere because they clearly didnt do a decent inspection and I no longer trust them to work on my vehicles.
I had to return to Courtesy Subaru twice (I live 100 miles away) before my issue was resolved. Was repeatedly assured my issue was simple & resolved, only to find out it boiled down to a manufacturer defect. While my car was there, it sustained body damage scratches to the surface paint. Now I have to spend more time to take it to a body shop to have the scratches buffed out. When we pointed out the scratches, we were argued with & told it never happened before. I dont care if it never happened before! It happened now! First bad experience Ive had in 14 years though, so...
This dealership is so incredible, they saved our life! While moving my mother from N.C. to Washington get car broke down on the side of the road and John Kluver saw is, stopped and waited while he made the arrangements for us to get rescued. The car was beyond repair and Andy Hamilton was the salesman that helped us get into a safe and perfect car for my mom. Everyone treated us like family, it was the best experience I have ever had. The commercials are real!
Top notch customer service!!! I had my 2010 Subaru Forester in for a timing belt replacement along with a brake job on December 6th 2019. Dewayne did a phenomenal job explaining everything that needed to be done. He genuinely cares about his customers and it really shows! He kept me informed while the repairs were being performed. I waited in their nice, clean, and comfortable waiting area which has an awesome coffee machine and snacks. I have had my vehicle serviced at Courtesy Subaru a few times in the past and as always, my experience with Courtesy Subaru was excellent! Thank you again for a job well done!
We visited Courtesy Subaru in September just to look at the Foresters that were available. Ryan Hinrichs, the salesman, was very helpful in narrowing down what we would be interested and went over our options with us. There was no sales push, just the giving of information. We were not ready to purchase that day, but when a Forester that met our needs came into inventory, Ryan would e-mail us to keep us informed. When we were finally ready to purchase, Ryan and all the staff made the process as easy as it could be. We were very pleased with our purchase experience and with our salesman Ryan in particular.
Wow. Im impressed. Ive never owned a Subaru before, so this was my first time there. Curtis, in the service dept. was so helpful and accommodating. He answered all my questions with a smile. They even washed my car. I think Im going to enjoy being part of the Subaru family. Kudos.
They are honest with me. The service work is done perfectly, all fluids are at the correct level. They do not try to up-sell products that I do not need. I have faith in this dealership in both the sales and service side.
They have been provided me great service so far. People are great. I went their couple of time for my tire issue. They actually fixed it and even washed my car without charging any money. That was fabulous. Free coffee and snacks in the waiting area is a plus. I didnt get bored while I was waiting for my car being taken care. I had a chance to interact with a few agents while I was waiting, got some great insights about taking care of my car and some of the features in the newer models. Very nice customer service.
Traveling across country with the family the check engine light came on. As a result the adaptive cruise control was disabled. Jason looked at it quickly and determined a loose gas cap was the problem. This took 5 minutes and we were cruising down the road. Thanks Jason and Courtesy!
Would be zero stars if possible. My mother took in her fully operable Forester in for an oil change and asked them if they could check on a rattle. The mechanic told her that he thinks the rattle is in the engine and that it would be $700 to take apart and diagnose. My mom specifically asked how much it would cost to put back together and that if it was a going to be a major repair, she did not have the time or money and if it was a minor repair, she would only consider it. She did not give them consent to do anything more than diagnostic work on her car. Now obviously any decent mechanic would know that any issue in the engine will most likely not be a minor repair. My mother, a 60 year old single woman that knows nothing of cars, obviously did not know. However, this self proclaimed prodigy of a mechanic went ahead and took the engine apart and caused irreparable damage to parts in the process. They call her back and say that it will be $2,600 in parts alone and she said absolutely not. They did not mention that they would not be able to restore the vehicle to the condition she brought it to them and instead agreed to put the car back together how it was and that she could pick it up the next day.My mom calls the next day to see when it will be available for her to pick up and NOW is when they say they can not put it back together and that her ONLY options are to either pay $6000 to repair the engine or buy a new vehicle. The vehicle isnt even worth $6000! Over a week of fighting it out with the dealership and them agreeing to other options then going back on their word, the best they are willing to do is waive the $700 diagnostic fee and tow the now useless and worthless car back to her house, and this is after getting the national Subaru support involved. This dealership absolutely took advantage of my mother, and completely mismanaged this entire incident from top to bottom. There is so much more I could write about this incident and how poorly it was handled but I feel this is enough to get the gist of why this is not a trustworthy establishment.
***Update*** 1/19/21 I am changing my original review after giving the dealership a second chance. I had the dreaded Subaru wheel bearing groan. So I called the Service Dept and they got me in right away for the repair. 3hrs later it turns out 3 of 4 wheel bearings were bad. They got it repaired just under the 60k mile warranty expired. Service today was great and the second time around they won me over. Thanks!Pros: Nice service staff, and salespeople. I came in for some warranty recall work. Scheduling was easy, service was done on time.Cons: The staff left muddy/greasy foot prints on a freshly detailed interior. They ran my car through a carwash without my permission. Which made me angry! I just detailed the car inside and out. Their low quality car wash machine left dirty water spots all over and stripped my fresh spray wax with their harsh chemicals. To top it off there are scratch marks from washing it down the passenger side fender and door. While I was there I inquired with sales staff about trading in my Crosstrek for a Forester. The sales person was very nice but they do not negotiate on price. Expect to pay full MSRP and their trade in offers are a joke. They said they dont need deal on price because the vehicles sell any way. The sales persons hands were tied by the man in the back room. He would have sold me a new car if he could.Subaru buyers look elsewhere because this guy will drive to Colorado to pay $3500 less and get $2500 more for my trade.
My recall work was rescheduled b/c of COVID-19 and that was handled with ease. When I did arrive physical barriers were in place, hand sanitizer was available and the waiting area was re-opened. I was also glad that they had removed vehicles from the showroom to further minimize germs spreading. I also had asked for a courtesy vehicle and was given a very nice 2020 Ascent to drive to another appointment. Excellent vehicle Subaru! The recall work and other servicing was done in a timely manner and I was on my way back to my hometown. Thanks Courtesy for being efficient.
Everyone was so kind at this place! Dwayne was so nice and got my car taken care of so fast! There were also dogs running around the whole place and it was awesome! I’m going to take my car there every time I have a problem now!
Worked with Quay to purchase a new Outback Limited. Excellent customer service and no nonsense business. Very professional and willing to work with you to make buying your car happen.
Absolutely the best of the best in customer service
Love working with these guys... in getting my car serviced as well as them helping put with fundraisers for our community!
We bought tires for our Subaru crosstrec from Subaru & we should have.free tire rotation, yet they charged us for that today when we had the oil changed. Whats w/ THAT?
I thought about two stars but when I considered the six total hours I spent driving back and forth trying to work out a deal, I think one star is more appropriate. I did not argue the cost. I asked them to check out two mechanical problems. For one, the salesman presented a YouTube video for me to watch, and for the other they said they’d look at it the following day. I guess it didn’t matter since I had to come back again anyway since it was late, but the way it was “sort of” scheduled seemed unprofessional.Don’t expect much effort getting financed if your credit isn’t stellar. I wish this dealership would have been straight up with me so I didn’t waste three days, 6+ hours of driving and lots of effort. I don’t believe they are too worried about selling a car. So if you want a car from Courtesy Subaru, make sure you have time to waste, great credit easy to access, and have no problems that need attention from the GM. If it’s not an easy deal, it won’t be a deal at all at Courtesy Subaru.
In September or October (at the time of writing, it is now March) I went in to discuss buying a new Subaru WRX Premium with a handful of accessories at more than $30,000 and when I opened talks, he said, “No, there really isn’t any room to negotiate. That’s just what you pay.” This might have been my first new-new car purchase, but I know better. Needless to say, I let my body language express my shock at his comment and I walked out and bought the same car elsewhere with all the accessories I wanted. Absolutely poor customer service and no sense of professionalism — aside from his resistance to negotiate price: dead eyes, tired voice, and seemingly little interest in actually making a sale. Oh, well, their loss. I won’t be back in the future to buy from them nor have/will I recommend them to anyone looking for a new vehicle. If the prospect wants a Subaru, I’ll suggest they go elsewhere based on my one experience alone. I almost feel embarrassed for them if this wasn’t a one-off and this is how they run the business. I have some minor things on my car that I would like their assistance on, but I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth that I haven’t been able to step back in their building since. I’ve done all my service elsewhere or on my own.
On my drive back to east coast summer of 2018 my old Volkswagen broke down and I needed a way to get back. Courtesy Subaru fixed me up in a few hours with a car, and I love it. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend!
Fantastic dealership. Takes care of customers. Employees are very knowledgeable and kind. They are not condescending or rude like many dealerships. Prices are reasonable and they are sometimes willing to work with you to make it affordable. If you have a Subaru, this is the place to go.
I highly recommend this location. We were passing through Grand Rapids on a 2k+ roadtrip through the US and Canada and we were due for an oil change. We walked onto the service center after noticing this place while driving and hoping they could fit us in as walk-ins. Not only were they able to fit us in, they had us in and out within 30 minutes during peak hours and made sure that all things were good to go for the rest of our trip. We were handled expertly and with great courtesy. Im a huge fan of this place, Grand Rapids, and South Dakota in general. Thanks for keeping a great trip great!
Pick up new Crosstrek we ordered. Great place!
First experience was great a couple years ago, couldn’t have been happier with them. Now their service is horrible. My friend went to look at a Subaru and went for a test drive in one, dealer was too busy on his phone and basically didn’t care if he bought it or not, price was way to high. Went there a couple of days ago thinking maybe it was just a bad experience for my friend, nope. Wanted to trade in a vehicle and they tried to rip me off, told them all this other stuff that I got added to the vehicle and how their own website said it was valued for $4000 more then what they were offering me. They told me they would take a second look. Taking a second look they took another $1000 off of what they said before. Thinking wow what a rip off maybe they could maybe take $2000 off of the vehicle I was interested in since they were being pretty unreasonable with the trade in value, was told they would call me the next day saying they would have an answer. Never got the call so went to Jeep Liberty instead and got the trade in price I was looking for and a better value. The people at Subaru in rapid are just interested in how much they can rip you off. Will never go back. Cars are great but horrible people.
Fantastic customer service! We were staying in Rapid City during a road trip and picked up a screw in a tire. I dropped off the tire 2 minutes before they closed on a Friday evening, and they had it repaired and ready to go by 8:30 the next morning, free of charge! They were friendly and professional, and I felt like my minor issue was taken seriously, even though I was just one of many customers. Thank you, Dexter and all the rest!
I have been dealing at Courtesy for a few years now. I cannot say enough good about this dealership, from the service department, to sales staff and finance. Service work has always been over and above my expectations....no stones left unturned, very thorough, up front, and reasonably priced. Duane, Jason and all those in service are all top notch. The sales team are very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Every time I have had an issue or question or concern, they have been right there to offer opinion, information, and guidance, led by Darek Bray. Andy Hamilton was my salesman on this purchase today and his quiet demeanor and understanding of my situation is what made me walk into the showroom, which by the way is empty because of Covid I presume. But Andy listened to me and walked beside me from my first sentence, to until I emptied my old cars contents into my new one. He was still working on clearing out any remaining items from my trade in as I drove off. He helped me to be calm and confident and was also open to the type of communication I needed to use (phone texting) and helped me to seal the deal.Financing is a scary thing for some like me. But both times I have made a deal with Courtesy, they have made it comfortable and easy for me. I am not an easy customer to get financing for. I have a few scrapes on my credit. What I thought, today, would be impossible, Cami pulled off even more than I had expected. As I sat in her office going over financing and signing papers, she did not rush through things, she wasnt about just getting the business done. She was genuine. She stopped and talked about life and things that had nothing to do with my car deal. She plainly wasnt just interested in getting all the papers done and moving to the next task. She took her time, explained every item to me, and was interested in what I had to say as a person. This was the most comfortable I have ever been in dealing on a car. Its my first brand new car and I will tell you I am sold on Courtesy Subaru for what they do for their customers. As I was finishing up in Camis office, Duane from service came over and told me he appreciated me and was glad I was still part of the family. He didnt have to. Every time my car has been serviced there, it has come out freshly washed. They take a genuine interest in your investment and your safety.I HIGHLY recommend Courtesy Subaru and would over again. They have gone way past earning my business.
I was booked in a for a service on a Saturday and had to drive several hours from Gillette, WY to Rapid City S.D, the location of Courtesy Subaru. I arrived on time and they booked my vehicle in immediately. The service reps were excellent. I waited in their nice, clean waiting area and they had the car done and the paperwork finished in less than a hour.
Awesome customer service! They keep me coming back.
I WAS a Subaru owner and refused to own anything different. Ive owned a 1999 and 2001 Legacy along with a 2009 and 2014 Impreza. Both Imprezas I attempted to trade in at Courtney Subaru. Both times I was low balled on the value and ended up getting $2-3000 more at a different dealership. With the 2014 not only was I low balled on the trade in but I was also told the sticker price on a new one is already the lowest price they can go. I went elsewhere and got more for my trade in plus $3000 off sticker price of a new vehicle. Way to treat your loyal customer of many years. I am no longer a Subaru owner due to this dealership and these two experiences.
While moving cross country, we took our 2018 outback into Courtesy Subaru because it started sounding louder and louder and we still had over 1,000 miles to drive. Within 15 minutes we found out that the transmission needed to be replaced. Courtesy Subaru kept us up to date with the repairs and helped advocate to national Subaru (when national Subaru shipped our replacement transmission to the wrong location, delaying us 4 days) to get some reimbursement for all our lost travel costs. Once the transmission came in, they got us on the road the same day. They have a great, friendly, and fast working team. Thanks!
They always take great care of my vehicle. Very nice people.
My husband was interested in a car that we were thinking about buying from them and the salesperson didn’t seem that interested in selling us a new car. Was no help to us at all.
We were traveling through from out of state when the check engine light came on. Dwayne in the service department was able to get us in and taken care of quickly despite having a full schedule and got us back on the road.
Stopped in for a tire rotation and oil change during my cross country move. They were able to squeeze me in and had everything done in less than a half hour. The staff even washed my car and gave me the best price they could. All in all, couldnt be happier with the service and friendly, helpful staff!
Best Subaru dealership EVER!!! Customer service is 2nd to none! I have had several instances where I drop off my car and they dont charge me for minor fixes, they always wash the car before returning it, and their staff is very knowledgeable. They also do a great job of calling and keeping you informed while your car is in the shop. So much better than my Subaru dealership experience in Fairbanks! Bonus: they gave my dog a bandana and stuffed outback toy!
Went in on a Saturday to look at upgrading from our 09 Forester. Got to talking with Kyle Weaver and he lined us up with the new 2019 Ascent. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Kyle took the time to explain and demonstrate all the features and make sure we understood everything. We will definitely deal with Kyle again when the need arises.
Buying a new car has never been one of my favorite things- in fact I dread it. My salesman Andy Hamilton at Courtesy Suburu changed that. I love my Forrester and Andy was so easy to work with. What a dream. I am so happy with everything about my new car. Thanks Andy!
Always great service. The techs are extremely talented and helpful. This establishment is the only place to bring your subaru for maintenance or repair!!
I needed to take my Outback in for a recall. Service Advisor Mike Stoneberger was very friendly and efficient. Dexter, the driver that shuttled me to and from work, was very nice and friendly as well. I highly recommend them for any service on your Subaru!
Coming home from Florida to Washington State, our check engine light came on. They got us in for a diagnosis as soon as we got there. Even washed our car! Great and friendly service. Thank you Courtesy Subaru!
Stopped for a quick oil change and tire rotation on my road trip. No complaints. Called early in the morning and they were able to get me in during the afternoon that day. It was interesting to hear the comments of the employees from my dash cam during the service, but I cant complain :) If I lived closer, Id go here regularly.
We were vacationing in the Black Hills when the tire pressure light came on in my Forrester. I drove into Courtesy without an appointment and was helped immediately. 30 minutes later, a nail had been removed, the tire patched, all fluids topped off and the car washed. When I asked about a bill, there was no charge! I was told they were happy to help! 😄
I bought a used Outback. The salesman, Andy, was awesome. He made sure I was happy with my purchase by taking care of a few cosmetic items out of his own pocket. I highly recommend Courtesy Subaru for their product and their excellent customer service!!
My wife and I leased a Legacy from Steve Myers. It was the best car buying experience EVER! Steve was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The rest of the staff were welcoming and hospitable too, even the pets. We would definitely recommend this dealership. GREAT JOB COURTESY!!!
Very clean shop.nice waiting area. Very friendly helpful staff. Highly reccomendThank you to everyone in the service department, I was amazed & impressed by what a wonderful experience I had here today. You guys are the best!
Im the girl who never serviced my cars at the dealer. I always just thought it was going to be too expensive so I went to a little mechanic. Then I bought a Subaru that still had one year of warranty left on it so obviously I started servicing it at Courtesy Subaru. I am so impressed with their service department. The guys that work there are so polite, so helpful, so kind. They really make a person feel like they are glad youve come. They won me over and I havent stopped servicing my car there yet after two and a half years.
Great customer service. Visited Rapid City from Colorado and had an issue with my car. Service department (Cody and Mike) worked my car in and got us taken care of. Nice finally working with a dealer that goes the extra mile.
Went in for a simple oil change, before they were done it cost over $200.00 with coupon.!
Buy your car from Courtesy Subaru. Their name is a direct indication of how you will be treated - with courtesy. The staff, from Sales to Service, has been nothing but excellent from start to finish. They were my first experience with actually taking out a vehicle loan and purchasing a new vehicle, and they made it painless. I have every confidence that my Subaru vehicle will last for a very long time, but when it comes time to trade it in, I will be doing so at Courtesy Subaru.
Very helpful
Super easy to deal with. Kyle was very knowledgeable and professional. John in finance found me the best options. I would recommend checking them out.
I have to give a huge THANK YOU to Jay True at Courtesy Subaru! I was looking for a very specific vehicle, Jay not only found me what I needed, the condition of the vehicle was immaculate! He saved me a long plane flight and drive back from Wisconsin to get what we needed. He was very honest over the phone about the vehicle. He also made sure that no one would sell it before we could make it to Rapid City to see it. The paper work took a total of 10 min because Jay had everything already set up for us because he was going to be out of town. Im beyond happy with everyone at Subaru!!THANK YOU JAY!
Amazing!Jason Shearer walked me through my major problem, and solved it.My dealer in Amarillo texas told me that my 2015 forester was supposed to burn a quart of oil every 1500 miles “that there synthetic oil just evaporates while the car sits still” thanks Corky.Well when it got to burning one quart every thousand miles I talked to them “yep, sounds like you need a new engine: about $5000.00”My car had 70,000 miles, i bought it new and had all maintenance done at Subaru dealers.Courtesy Subaru in Rapid City replaced my engine at no cost to me: they acknowledged that my engine was faulty from the start and stood up for me with Subaru.Thank you Jason and courtesy Subaru! You have salvaged the name of the brand for me.You are honest and caring.I still am in awe.I thought my investment in this brand was a dismal mistake and that I was plain screwed. Thanks again Courtesy Subaru of Rapid !!!!
Steve Meyers sold my old lady her car. It was as simple as a phone call, gave him the list of requirements and without hesitation he directed her to the used car she always wanted. Never got the high pressure car chaser approach from these guys even in subsequent visits. Always laid back and helpfull. Nice dealership!
Courtesy Subaru, was great to deal with during my recent purchase of a used truck. Steve in sales was awesome, and I feel as though I got the best deal of my life. I live in Colorado, and found the vehicle on line. A few calls back and forth with Steve over 10 days, a 400 mile drive through Wyoming in an insane windstorm, and I have a great truck! Trade allowed was extremely fair, and Im one really happy man! Thanks Courtesy Subaru!
We are so glad we took our car to Courtesy Subaru to get fixed. We had been having problems with our Subaru and had taken it to several smaller shops in the past, and never got the issue resolved. Jason and his team worked hard to make sure the car was fixed correctly before giving it back to us. Not to mention the free loaner car was a God-send when we had a busy work week and needed a car to get around! Weve always been a little leery about going to a dealership to get work done on our cars, but they have changed our opinion about that!
I am so impressed by how kind and pleasant the staff is. And how well treated I am. Also, the service to my Subaru is great and the car looks great after the care it receives. Never do I worry about anything. I know they will let me know if there are concerns. Thank you to all the staff. Anne Smolik
Always a great experience!
