I highly recommend My Mechanic to anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy mechanic that charges a fair rate and does a great job!I have an older car that needed a full inspection and a variety of services done. My daughter will be driving this vehicle so her safety was my primary concern. Richard was awesome. He let me know what needed to be done, gave me an accurate quote and called me when everything was completed. Ill definitely go back to My Mechanic and Richard again in the future.

I had a state inspection done. The service was pretty good. Mr. Richard was very entertaining while I waited for the follow up. I would take my car back for regular services.

I went here to get my brakes and rotors fixed and I mean I did big damage to my car so much so it wouldn’t even move I took it Monday got it back Wednesday around the same time my first day coming in I was greeted by name which creeped me out but at the same time let me know that they pay close attention to detail both Richard and the owner were both very professional and very funny I appreciate just how much they did only issue I had was the huge price tag for labor 89.00 an hour but you get what you pay for because for 89 and hour my car was done fast and my brakes are feeling perfect now if you ever have an issue go out there to them and let them know iceking major sent you

Had my car towed here by AAA for a flat front tire. The tire itself wasnt flat, but low and the mechanic here said it was a rim issue. He said the repair was done and I took the car home.The next morning, tire was low again. Had it towed back to this shop and it took them all morning to tell me that they just couldnt figure out what the problem was. The cause of a simple low tire on a Benz confounds a professional auto shop after they already made a bad repair on it, which I never got a refund for.Wow.Avoid this place.

He is very knowledgeable and extremely competent.I suggest that, as with any vehicle or boat shop, that you get a price before work is commenced.MY MECHANIC is also an AAA towing shop.

This shop is clean and professional. Very friendly service from everyone as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. They explained everything that needed to be done and why for my vehicle. I will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone I know.The owner was on site and made a point to spend his time and attention focusing on all my questions and concerns, this made all the difference compared to other shops I have been to.

About a month ago i felt the clutch in my subaru wrx. I called my mechanic and had no hesitation to fit me into their schedule. Workers are very polite and knowledgeable and my clutch feels as good as new.

The best work and good pricing

My experience was excellent. Not only was the service good, but the work was excellent. I had a long standing electrical issue that they found and corrected promptly. I will return for any maintenance or repair problems I have in the future.

Does great work but a little on the high side

My daughter’s car was towed here after hours by AAA. They fixed her car first thing in the morning and were very easy and nice to deal with and the price was fantastic! I would definitely recommend!

If you need a Maryland State inspection please do not get it from My Mechanic in Randallstown, Theyre labor charge is extremely high and then they start to nikpik every little thing they can find. Please stay away if possible.

They recharged my battery. They are very professional and friendly. I didnt like that it took over an hour to half charge my battery and they still charged full battery charge fee.

This place is horrible I purchased a car from them last week and an hour later the car stops running in the middle of the highway. I gave him all the money that I had for the car because I really needed a car I am pregnant and I ha e two small children . He told me if anything was ever wrong with the car to bring it back I did all he did was clear the code and told me to just drive it. I have reported his license number to the mva and also I am taking legal actions. You don not screw people over like that .

If I can’t do the work myself, I trust this shop to get it done. Extremely convenient towing when I’ve encountered break downs as well. Recommended.

I was visiting friends in Maryland when my car died. I called a tow and it was recommended that I have my car towed to this shop. After talking with the owner I was given full assurance that the car would be worked on and finished the same day. (This all happened in the morning.) I was not called until 4:00 PM, told my car needed $750 worth of work and wouldnt even be worked on until Monday!! I called and asked if I could get my car towed to a shop that could work on it that weekend (since I had to be back to work on Monday), but was told that I couldnt even get my car until I paid their diagnostic fee of $85. After being told that legal action would be taken if I didnt pay the fee I finally had my car back. I took it to a Jiffy Lube where they fixed it in a couple hours and I only paid a little over $300. Needless to say I was very disappointed and would NOT recommend this particular garage to anyone!!

**update - a $6.99 thermostat fixed the over heating problem with our car and has held for weeks now with no problems. My Mechanics recommendation was a $760 radiator kit replacement.** That is the bottom line, but if you want more info, keep reading.Not too long ago, we brought our 4runner and were told the head gasket could go at any point and we would need a whole new engine ($8,000), but that we could sign the title over to them and they would take care of it and get some scrap metal from the car. We sold the car for $1400 privately (with full disclosure of what this mechanic had said). This experience made me begin to question the honesty of My Mechanic.We brought a different car (2000 Ford Escort ZX2) and received a quote for nearly $1500 worth of work. Had to pay $46 fee to have the car returned (for their work to diagnose the car).Yes, we should have known better to return the 3rd time, but they are close and we thought we could try again. This time the work came to $760 for a radiator kit on a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. When we asked some more questions regarding the high price, they (as in after the THIRD try to get the price down), they lowered it to $600 and change to do it.Although they told us the first price would be the cheapest way (to buy an entire radiator kit, rather than to simply replace the clogged radiator). 4 1/2 hours of labor - $422!The final nail in the coffin was the $93.87 they charged us for the time they spent diagnosing the problem on the car this time. When confronted and asked why last time it was only $46 and this time is was $93.87, his answer was unsatisfactory: that we were paying for an hour of labor. We never received an answer as to why the price was different from the last time they diagnosed the problem for the car.Are those employed for My Mechanic nice people? They are. However, the price to have our cars looked at and diagnosed are inconsistent, confusing, and unreasonable. For these reasons, we no longer feel comfortable offering our business to My Mechanic.
