Once Upon a Time JCPenney was my go-to for office attire. There were always great sales happening and clearance racks were super fun to go through. My daughter and I visited this weekend. And much to my surprise, the clothes were not appealing at all. Im not sure if JCPenney went with a new designer but, the choice of clothing is not what it once was.

Prices not bad but service SUCKS! Between the hours of 6pm and closing lines are ridiculous and only one or maybe two cashier if its your LUCKY DAY! This store should really do better and treat their valuable customers with better service.

How do you expect your customers to be able to shop and spend money when your store is an oven? What retail store doesnt have an AC or fans on the ceiling at the very least. It seems very cheap and not customer focused to want our business when YOUR business is 100+ degrees inside! What place is hotter inside than outside on 100 degrees days in California? Jcpenny Victoria gardens, thats where.

As I walked through the store it appeared to me that they are doing a great job of keeping things neat and clean. I went to exchange something and the nice lady at the entry level register, kindly told me that returns and exchanges were upstairs, which saved me having to wait in the wrong line. The exchange was quick and easy. When I went upstairs I noticed they had moved the shoe department up there. I went within an hour after they opened, so it may be different later in the day.

We went yesterday and bought some men’s clothes. Dora, the salesperson was wonderful. Every time she works the cash register she is above kind and pleasant. I love when I get her on visits to your store at Victoria Gardens Please take good care of her.

LIMITED, LIMITED, LIMITED... inventory!! Poorly stocked, some racks are over stocked and you have to push hard to see if your size is there (with what little to choose from already)! Sizes are VERY limited.Returns are difficult as the computer seems to more than NOT find your return item!NO staff around to help... frustrating experience! Shopping should be FUN!!I only go there if I really need something I know they have, otherwise, Ontario Mills is MUCH better!

Got a nice comforter set for under 40 bucks and got some nice Disney toys

I have a gift card Im trying to use, but I could not find anything to my liking. JCPenney is not what they used to be. Just close the store which will be best.

My experience here was great. I was looking for blackout curtains and found the color I wanted. Also, the employee who assisted me was very helpful. 😎

We had the worst experience at this place. The so-call Manager-Angie gave my family and I horrible service. We were rushed through it all and what is even worse she does not know how to treat a child (9 month old baby)... I recommend parents to not take their family to this place. For the high price you pay at this place you can get better service and better prices somewhere else.

I have been coming to this locatio. For years. Recently the staff does not want to help you find things especially in the kids clothing department. Twice they have just walked away saying whatever we have out. It was a manager by the returns where they have kids shoes. She was so rude!!!!

After long time I shopped at JC Penny store but there deals are good I am keep coming back now

My last trip to this store was much better than my prior experience. The store was much cleaner and it was near closing, meaning many people had already been through the store. My only complaint now (the reason I subtracted a star) is the fact that the wait to check out was quite a while. The computer system seemed a bit slow though so I dont blame the employees. Much better and I am so happy to update my review! This new picture is still messy, but completely understandable considering it was late on a Friday night.

This store is not what it used to be, the home department is not very nice. Hardly much of a selection, you can find better quality somewhere else.

Not really a selection for men. No jackets. Only 2 people at register on the weekend.

I ordered some new clothes for the baby. its better to order online and pickup at the store you can get them for at least half off. even with shipping sometimes its easier just to order online and then have it delivered straight to the house. The stores are less cluttered and more clean now than they were before. 🤪

Theres announcements over the speakers regarding their great sales in the jewelry department and 0% interest on their store credit card, reminds me of shopping at another retailer thats going belly up. I saw a guy talking to a manager who refused to return something so the guy left the item on the counter and walked out; thats not a guy trying to get one over on a store, thats a guy looking for customer service and not getting it. A ton of clothes on clearance, and not very well organized.

Really good deals. Got about 10 outfits for myself and seven for my husband and shoes and three jackets and paid 250. Always good deals and coupons on their website. For sure my favorite place to buy clothes. Good brands cute clothes and very affordable. Only reason I gave it a four is because when I went it was about two hours or so before closing time and the fitting rooms were closed. Totally get why but inconvinent so I couldnt try the clothes on, would suggest closing it a little bit closer to closing time. Everyone is nice and helpful and will apply coupons or tell you about them if you dont have any!

Esther in womens lingerie was so very helpful and has wonderful customer service skills. Audriana at checkout closed the deal with a gracious attitude and a friendly farewell. Store very clean and organized.

JCPenney has always had a great selection in their stores. Theres something to be found for Mom Dad, and all the kids. But while the selection is wonderful the prices usually are not. Like so many other types of this store, its a dying business model. You can find better deals online all the time. Still, its a nice place to visit and the staff are friendly.

There photo studio was over booked. They have a new oriental girl that need more training. We come here often and have always been pleased with our photo shoot. NOT THIS TIME!

Today I saw a shirt on a mannequin that I wanted to buy for my husband ...I asked 2 sales ladies and both told me they werent sure where they were and continued to put items away ..I found another sales lady on the other side and she tried finding the shirt and said that shed get me a manager ...the manager came and asked what size I wanted and I told her a Medium but I told her I had already checked the sizes on the mannequin and they both were small and that neither had a tag to scan for a price ..the manager said sorry I dont know where these shirts are ...??? shirts are displayed on a mannequin and dont have any for sale ???? I shop quite often at this JCP ...always happy with quality of what I get .. unhappy with the customer service in the mens department....check out sales person was awesome .... Ive never written a bad review but felt necessary to say something

Wow, top of the line clothes and I have found 5 beautiful blouses to go with my kind of style. From every day lounge wear to out on the town wear that fits an extra large busted woman all the way around! I usually make my own clothes but, wow, found some very beautiful tops that are out of this world!

Tatiana was super helpful I think she works in the customer service department or the online pick up department either way she helped me even though I started off being rude because some of the other workers were rude to me prior to her but she was super helpful and nice and had excellent customer service I loved that she kept it very professional and was understanding of my problem

They had exactly what I wanted. It took longer to find a register open than it took to find the items. I bought 2 pair of shoes. No register open. Sign said go to junior section. I had no idea where that was. So walked and walked then waited and waited in line.

My rating is based solely on my experience as a nursing mother! I was shopping and needed to feed my baby. I asked for a nursing room. What they had was a beat up, tagged up, wooded chair in a family restroom. The restroom was not clean and it reeked to high heaven from the person who had last used it. The padded bench in the hall was a better option. Assuming you dont mind having every customer that needs to use the restroom and employee ending or starting their shift walk past you. The dressing rooms did not have any chairs or benches. There was a small one which I could move myself into the room. It was better than nothing, but I was so hot and frustrated by the time I was settled. The room is 3x3 feet and clostraphobic. JCPenney you can do better!

This place is tore up. The mens underwear is such a mess I gave up. This place needs work.

They dont really want you to shop...not clear which entrance to use...third door was the charmer. I would have left but mom realllly wanted to go inside.

Our third year taking family pictures, good photographers. They work well with kids. We make appointments and only end up waiting maybe 20 minutes. Pictures never go on time with kids involved.Always consider the portrait membership to offset seating fees.

No operator assistance to take my call No pick up of phone call from other depts. Really? Dont order curbside unless you you have no life! I refuse to go in the store!

Excellent sales during Christmas time. Will be going there again. Cute stuff too. Womens of course. Was able to buy lots of Christmas presents for good prices. People should really start going back in the stores. So many good sales and community. Best trip to jcpenny. Glad I did my Christmas shopping there.

Horrible experience never again. I bought 4 items online 3 days ago. I want to p/u and 1/2 the order was canceled because they didnt have it, but they charged my card in full and then the lady said we never charged your card then why are you giving me half of my merchandise then hello so after 45 minutes they figured out it was paid in full after I pulled up my bank account online then she turn around walk over to a table grab the two missing items sounds like oh my gosh you have got to be kidding me why didnt you just do that in the first place to complete the order instead of wasting 45 minutes of my time never again never never never Ill stick Amazon

My wife and I had a great experience while here at JCPENNYS. It was actually time for my wife to get new glasses. They were having a really good sale so it was the perfect time to get them. The young lady taking care of my wife couldnt be nicer. She took care if business but had a few laughs in between, (My fault).She informed my wife of the different options and made it quite easy to choose.

The start of Xmas shopping season...and ALL the people of the world must have come into Penneys at the same time. Came in for mens pj pants on sale....the Very Long Line almost discouraged the purchase, but there were many cashiers and it moved relatively quickly. The plus was the cashier that assisted us, she was very pleasant, funny, and happy because her 49ers won today.

I was there doing Santa pictures. It took along time. I understand that they work on kid time however, they should have one room for the ones who want to take just Santa pictures and one room for Santa and other Christmas pictures. Or they could just do Santa pictures only so they keep the wait time down. Or dont over book. There was a lot of people there too. By the time it was our turn we were all done and I didnt get the pictures I hoped for.

Lots in supply. Not enough staff on the floor to assist customers. Edward did a great job checking us out with our jeans purchase. Penneys is one of a few stores that carry exactly what we need.

I went during holiday season when it was busy. The customer service made the wait time worth it. Although lines were long all of the employees are still very friendly and helpful.

Ok I never bother to leave a comment for anything. BUT the staff at this location made our day.. especially around this time of year shoppers are stressing and in a rush, so you can imagine what the staff go through. But all of the guys here made time for us. Especially Daisy she even carried some of our items to the register for us!! What the heck!! That never happens... soooooo nice!!!

Its nice to go on weekdays but not on weekends especially they seemed to be short of staffs.. Overall customer service is great. Online order & pick up at store is less hassles plus more discounts...so totally recommended that!

Amazing sales! Great place to shop for gifts.However, customer service is horrible!! Women working yesterday night just talked amongst eachother laughing and not even acknowledging ANY customers. Also, Kimberly working the cash wrap was one of the worst check out experiences I have ever had. She was very uncomfortable and continued to make awkward comments to me and my husband. The transaction was truly painful and we just wanted to run for the doors! Talent in this location is beyond horrible but the promotions are fanominal!!

Wanted to buy a jacket for my daughter, the Jacket racks had a Sales price of $24.99 when got to the register the cashier said that the wasn’t the price that the jacket was left on the rack by somebody, she went to check the rack and there were 9 jackets hanging on the the rack so I asked her so all these jackets were place here by 9 different a customers,False advertisement, be careful with JC Penney.I’m taking my business some where else and I’m canceling my credit with them. What a way to ripped people off...no wonder why JC Penney is going down.Too bad I cannot post the picture I took to proof the false advertisement

Excellent experience, found exactly what I was looking for and even got assistance by sales associate.

There were a total of 2 employees on the entire 2nd floor, both in the shoe department..No one was available in the Home area. When I went to leave, I could only use a rear exit, away from the rest of the shopping mall. How inconvenient! No wonder JCP is going out of business.

What happened to this store? It was in disarray, the shoe section looked like a tornado came through, different shoe styles in different boxes, two left shoes together. This store is a joke. What was the manager doing? Why not get a team to clean up your messy area? Oh, yeah Management was picking their noses....dont brother with this messy place.

Called made an appointment for 3:00 pm. The guy on the phone said come in at 2:15 and you will get in... 10 minutes to 4:00 finally had to leave. Im not angry but really if you cant get a person in dont make the appointment. I wasted my time sitting there when I could have been doing something useful. This use to be a great salon with friendly service. Guess Ill look for anther place to go to when in Ranch.

Customer service in FINE JEWELRY is Horrible purchased diamond earrings on 3/17 and sales person did not put cerification in box. Followed up with Nancy(dept supervisor)on 2 separate occasions only to be blown off and not have my issue resolved. I will never shop there again.
