Such a great spot! All of the servers were incredibly nice and my husband and I left our order up to them. They really know their stuff and we couldn’t have had a better time.

Okay I would say a must try place!! The hooka is awesome. The staff is pretty good. They have a food truck outside which has amazing falafal and shawarma. They do not have alcohol but the drink they suggested was no less than beer in taste.

This place is pretty chill. It is really a nice place to hang out and talk. We ordered a Apple hooka with a vanilla flavor. It is pretty good and very smooth. They have couch seating inside or big black cushion chairs. A couple TVs are about. They have a huge out door cabana feel area. Some of the tables have fire pits. The outside area feel like you have been taken to a Stan type country feel. They have chill music playing and chill lighting. If your looking for a place to just come hangout worth our going to a loud bar this is it.

I dropped in for some milkshakes and they had a great frozen pistachio ice cream that comes in a tube that was so delicious you just slide it out and eat it its so great I have to revisit that place again

Didnt try the hookah so cant talk about it personally (friend said it was best hookah he had tried till now) but the moroccan mint tea was really great. Didnt get parking spot on Saturday evening so had to park in the waffle house lot.

If you can catch the owner (Eddie) ask him to tell you the story behind the name of his hookah lounge. This is a real nice place for good hookah and tea. They also have good middle eastern food. The open air seating makes it safe for COVID times as well!

I recently moved to the Raleigh area and was looking for a coffee shop that was open late. Coming from San Diego, I was spoiled by having a choice of three 24-hour cafes in the city.Some research revealed that most coffee shops here were open till midnight at the very latest; with most closing earlier, especially on the weekends.Not one to give up easily, more digging was rewarded by finding this interesting place.Although primarily focused as a hookah lounge, it can double a chill/veg/surf sport when other coffee shops are closed.There is the issue of smoke, obviously, as it is a hookah spot. But as a non-smoker l found it mostly tolerable. And if not, there is plenty of open air seating in the courtyard.It has a cool, cozy vibe where you can feel welcome to lay back and prop your feet up. I like sitting up front in the comfy wall sofa.The clientele is predominantly near and middle eastern so there is usually a diversity canopy languages throughout.So far Ive tried the homemade pistachio baklava and it was quite grand. They make a fresh batch daily but its very popular and can dissappear quickly.I took off a star due to the occasionally inconsistent/unreliable wifi, which can be frustrating. Otherwise, l think l found a new favorite.

Best Hookah I’ve ever had! We had a great time. The staff was friendly and made sure to check on us throughout the evening. We had cappuccino and it was great. Amazing atmosphere, traditional vibes, lovely decor, a wonderful hangout spot. Outside is the best with the tables with the fire pits though. Cant beat that. The hookah itself is usually spot on, fast service and theyre usually great about giving new coals and on top of that its a very clean place. Plus the coffee is AMAZING. If you want to just chill and smoke hookah with friends and maybe have some coffee, I definitely recommend.

Very nice venue. The owner found me a table and sat me himself within minutes. I had college friends coming in to town and this was the perfect spot to relax and catch up. One of the waitresses, Dina, helped me pick a good flavor and drink. Service was on point!! I’m definitely coming back to this place and if you haven’t already you should check it out!

They had run completely out of desserts and avocados, so that was kind of disappointing. I went with 2 of my girl friends from work. Our waitress was great. We got her tobacco blend in a grapefruit and it was delicious. There is a Mediterranean market/restaurant across the parking lot and Shahrazad DOES allow outside food! (Not drinks though)We sat outside by a fire pit. The ambiance was great. We just hung out for about 4 hours. It was relaxing. Totally would go again anytime

Tried this place after another spot nearby started charging an outrageous membership fee just to enter and will come here every time from now on. We had excellent service throughout, great menu and a variety of seating to choose from including indoor, outdoor, and semi-outdoor covered lounge. Prices were fair. Didnt get to try any but they offer a dessert menu here as well.

Ive been coming here on and off for two years, Ive seen the place change for the better. Great place, the hookahs are on point. Ive had tea occasionally, it was great as well. The prices are extremely reasonable. The service is amazing, shout-out to Martha for her excellent service and making everyone feel at home.

I wouldn’t even rate them 1 star. They have the worst customer service. They are very rude and do not care about customer satisfaction. No social distancing and no logic in their rules. All they care about is making money.

Shahrazad Hookah Lounge is honestly one of the best spots I have ever visited for hookah. They offer a wide and varying array of hookah flavors and you can opt to have the tobacco situated within a grapefruit or pineapple head for additional flavor and lifespan of the session. The hookah is extremely well made and the service is impeccable. Would definitely recommend the mint lemonade, it is to die for.

This is a great place to chill and spend a few hours without breaking the bank. Beware that weekends can get really crowed and be careful to not park in the Waffle House parking lot--- they tow. I think the crowd adds to the fun here though. The staff is great and is usually very responsive and readily available.

Very disappointed. Went to this place to smoke some decent hookah but it was one my worst experience ever. I asked for pineapple head and hose grommet was not fixed to it. I was wondering why smoke wasnt coming out. Called the guys working there and was no use. They said it has to be ( head )heated but that 2as not the case. I repeatedly ask them to check but 2as not usefu. Place is good but hookah serving and service is worst. Be aware, its very expensive too. $70 for two hookah and 5 water bottles. I wouldnt be upset if I had some decent hookah and service but very disappointing. I wouldnt suggest.

I Came here a couple time, the service was horrible. I came here to meet up with friends, and enjoy my night but there’s too much rules to think about, instead of hello they tell you there rules. The hookah is not good, they bring it out already burned, when you tell them your complain they don’t care. Waiter doesn’t even try to fix anything. If you trying to enjoy your night, DO NOT COME HERE. Expensive hookah, hookah doesn’t taste good, too many rules, bad customer service!

Go here almost every weekend for their hookah+ Moroccan tea/Turkish coffee. Great place to relax. Laid back and the staff is friendly. Can spend hours here though at times it tends to get very crowded..

The staff is really nice. The hooka there is really good and flavorful. There Turkish coffee is delicious. There smoothies are great for a place thats not specialized in smoothies. I was there one time before were I had a bad experience but other than that one incident everything seems to be pretty good.

Was there yesterday evening to spend some decent time with friends and had the worst experience ever ordered 2 hookahs one with the fruit head and the other regular both tasted pretty bad and were non- functional hookahs the hookah set up had no hose grommets and we complained about the hookahs which were terrible and were very hard to drag but the guys were unable to figure it out until we pointed out that there was no grommet in the set up and we were charged 70 bucks with gratuity automatically added for which was a most terrible experience, most disgusting experience ever and would not recommend it to anyone, useless staff most overrated place I have ever been. Will never go back to this place.

It is a cool place to go hang out with friends. I wouldnt bring kids. It isnt beautiful to my eyes but if youre just hanging out, thats the last of my problems. And the other plus is that i believe that they do not close at two like many other places so.thats bettter

Awesome place for Hookah and to hangout with friends. They have some really good desserts as well. You can ask for playing cards or dominoes if you would like. The pineapple head is really good and it there are a lot of gas fire pits.

This one of the best Hookah Lounges in Raleigh. I enjoyed a hookah out on their large screened in back patio with some exquisite turkish tea. What a way to spend a late evening! The wait staff is very friendly. Shahrazad has live Arabian Nights music that is very entertaining to listen to. I highly recommend this hookah bar!

No Smoking here!!I like the place (not sure now!), I occasionally stopped there in last 4 years to enjoy coffee, deserts and my Cigar. So when I had visitor from out of state I took them to Shahrazad place to have some social times, so we placed our orders and I let up my cigar as usual just to approach by one of young waiters telling me I could not smoke cigar!!!. First I thought he was joking, the place is full of blinding smoke from anything starting regular cigarettes, hookahs tobaccos and god knows what else. I should have left immediately but as courtesy to my visitors stayed and sip on bad tasting green tea. Otherwise I would give 5 star.The reason I smoke Cigar instead of hookah, their tobacco (and chemicals in it) make me sick with headache, I preferenatural unprocessed tobacco.

Great hookah! Great atmosphere! Good prices also! Service needs attention. I am a avid hookah smoker and have been for over a decade. I travel for business weekly and have visited several times and each time service has been slow to non existent. I had to get up to order water, tea, repacks, etc. Once the waitress engages you they are very nice, just dont expect them to check on you often Also the hookah guys dont speak english well and sometimes repack your hookah with the wrong thing (not a big deal as they fix it quickly). Overall I would recommend but go knowing the service will be hit or miss.

The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend trying their teas and coffees. This place can get very busy in the evenings so expect a bit of a wait. This is the type of place you come to just relax so Im not personally bother by the wait.

This place was amazing. The atmosphere was inviting and the diversity was so welcoming. Though this place does not serve alcohol, the frappuccino, mint tea and espresso makes up for it. Oh course the hookah and the servers were phenomenal as well.

I was first very excited to see this place but was disappointed. The waitress was nice for the initial encounter but then never came back to check on us or see if we needed anything. We were there for about 2-2&1/2 hrs. The guy that brought the hookah also never came back to check on us or turn the coal. We had to ask for the prongs to do so. The hose was of poor quality and the mouth piece was actually melted because they placed in the tray underneath the coal. The guys bringing the hookahs were noted swinging the coal around, which seemed hazardous. After some of the clients left, they took their time to clear the tables. Id say about an hr. Mind you we went early so there were only about 7-8 ppl there. Not busy at all.

Well the hookah was not good and the tea was good but small tea for $6.99 really lol! even Starbucks wouldnt dare to charge this much. The chairs were dirty like they were found in a dumpster or something. The table was moving and not stable. I think you really failed and you wont get an extra penny from me ever again. Sorry for the negative review but I think its fair.

Employees are great and enthusiastic as well as interactive with customers around. Every visit is a great experience, love the layout and vibe as well as some bomb ass expensive lemonade. In the end, I love this lounge and will definitely return in the future.

Visited Raleigh for Thanksgiving week and came to this hookah lounge every night I was in town. Amazing service and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend this place, #1 hookah place in Raleigh! We need a place like this in Minneapolis 🙌🏼
