Caribou Coffee on Duraleigh is THE NEIGHBORHOOD hangout! I have been meeting people for coffee, lunch, snacks, for years now. My studio NC Dance Institute is on Duraleigh Rd and we live close by, so I am always in and out of Caribou through the week. Inside is so fresh and hip and cool. They remodeled a few years ago and it is super comfy. The food, coffee, ALL GOOD. The Wifi is THE BOMB. The customer service is always 100% on point! Sometimes younger employees, but always well trained. The management is professional and always welcoming!Looking for a GREAT COFFEE and BAGEL cafe, head to Caribou on Duraleigh Rd. A neighborhood favorite!

Incredible drinks, wonderful service and a great atmosphere. We are so grateful we stumbled upon this gem on our way through Raleigh! I highly recommend getting yourself a bagel with their specialty creamy chesses, you cant go wrong with their herb and garlic spread! Their mocha and their iced chi lattes were also amazing! Thanks for making us feel so special during our time here :)

While visiting Durham, NC we needed some coffee. We didnt want big chain coffee. We found Caribou. The coffee is superb. We tried one of their specialty coffees. I was very pleased. The atmosphere is also excellent. Very cozy! If you are Im Durham you definitely should give them a try. ☺

Finally gave up on Duraleigh location because orders never seemed to be correct on the weekends. Always out of stuff. We look forward to going to do this almost every weekend because its a 35 minute trip one way for us. I will say weekday crew should get at least 4 stars. We decided to try again and today was the worst yet! So today a Saturday at 1pm the weekend when Pumpkin spice has kicked off ...the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. So bad that when we called another location to ask about it they laughed. Thought it was a prank call. Today at 1pm we want to order a hot coffee...they actually told us they did not have any hot coffees because the machine was being cleaned. I was like what?? A coffee shop with no hot coffee? What a poor excuse for management that has to be! So all you people that got coffee at this location this morning you must have been drinking from a dirty machine. I have no words. Go to Cary ...they rock!

They purposely got my order wrong. I asked for no bacon. Im not Jewish or Muslim so I didnt care, I just threw away the bacon and ate the rest of the sandwich, which was delicious by the way. If you are a religious minority (or just monitoring your cholesterol per doctors orders like moi) be careful at this location.

Fantastic customer service! It was my first time there, and they took the time to kindly answer my questions. They have oat milk, which made my day. I enjoyed a delicious oat milk, mint, dark chocolate mocha with a chicken chorizo and egg burrito. Both were delicious! I ate my big brunch outside on their patio. I took home an assiago bagel with jalapeño cream cheese for my son, and he was very pleased. Overall, a great first experience!

Mr Ed is the ONLY reason I continue to frequent this place. The customer service was lacking. I go at least 3-4 times a week and could never get anyone to even say good morning. Mr Ed was kind enough to strike up a conversation and I expressed this to him and it has changed ever since then! He’s very polite and welcoming! I wish he was the face of the place cause he actually know what’s customer service is!

Coarse and unfriendly staff. If you read rest of my reviews, I’m usually only reviewing places I enjoy and move on from places I don’t. This one deserved being noted though.

I wanted a sandwich they had on their menu. The didnt have it. So I ordered soup also on their menu. Didnt have it. Asked for what soup they did have. They had none. So I asked for an everything bagel. I forgot to tell them to toast it but the also didnt ask. At this time I know we both felt awkward. So I really didnt enjoy my cold not so soft bagel.

This place is never bad. Everything they have is great. If you havent gone, then you probably should.

The service is always friendly and the coffee is always delicious! One worker, Jimmy, has been a blessing to me over the last year.I do not use a face covering in public because of an exemption (based on the specifically spelled out exemptions to Governor Coopers requirements for the use of face coverings and masks).The employees of Caribou Coffee (at this location and at the Brier Creek location) have always treated me with respect and served me with great courtesy.Thank you so much, and keep up the good work!

Went thru the druve thru. Its one of those hybrid type storez from corporate caribou and bruggers bagels combined together. Its more of a caribou an oh ya we sell bagels also. The brueggers bagel menu is small compared to the standalone stores. Its more like express bagels store. Limited choice of bagels if you are goin for bagels. Thy have out door seating if you like.

Great vibe, but sometimes the parking is tough. The lines aren’t space evenly or parallel. One comfy chair inside is broken, so be careful sitting near the fireplace. Expensive, but a great place to meet people!

Customer service is lacking there, at times. The food service truck was blocking entrance to the drive thru this morning. I brought it to an employees attention, and the response was dismissive (it happens when theyre here), I could tell the employee wasnt going to do anything about it. Then, I had to wait for my order a long time. The employee didnt apologize or express any empathy, and didnt even include a receipt with my order. Its as if that individual was doing me a favor; beyond that, they dont want to be bothered. Overall, was not a good customer- service experience. Will think twice before i go back. And if management fails to respond to this message, expressing any sort of regret whatsoever, thats also indicative of what the mindset is like over there.

It has become a little tradition to come to this locations drive thru once a week with my dog Sophia. We are always greeted by friendly and welcoming employees who help us both find what we are looking for ;) You guys are great thank you so much!

I absentmindedly went here for breakfast and it was trash. Their drive thru menu has incorrect prices and the breakfast sandwiches are disgusting. Never again.

Great coffee and snacks but the drive thru line is dangerously long and blocks access to handicapped parking. Needs a better traffic flow or lane marking and signs directing traffic safely.

Love this place! Ive been a loyal customer for years and everyone is always so incredibly nice and helpful. Sherri, the manager, is exceptional and a true asset to the company. She always looks out for the customers and makes sure she does what it takes to make a great experience!

Since i started drinking coffee, I have been loyal to a certain competing chain beginning with S for all of my quick grab needs...Boy was I missing out. I walked into this location, was greeted by Jimmie, and was given some time to look over the menu. I told him that it was my first time at Caribou, and he explained that they are known for having great mochas. He told me I could even pick which chocolate they melted in! I went dark chocolate with a blueberry muffin.My order was ready quickly, with a lil chocolate covered espresso bean on top. One sip in, my loyalty to the previous chain was gone. The girl who made this mocha (sorry, couldnt get a good glimpse of your name!) is quite the barista.Great coffee, nice folks, and a great atmosphere. Cant wait until I can make it a go-to workstation! Thanks for the great service and a wonderful start to my morning.

Over priced coffee will not go again. 1 latte and a bagel with cream cheese $9. The coffee was no better than a 1 $ gas station coffee. People were still lined up. May be it did not suit my taste buds.

One of my favorite places to hang, draw, read, work, and play board games with friends. Great Caribou/Brueggars match up for coffee/ drinks and light fare. A little bummed they decided to reduce their night hours a year or two ago. :/

Best customer service in the world!Recently the kettle broke at this location which affected the bagels but they must have fixed it. The interim puffy bagels were not up to par with the quality they typically possess. I bought some puffy bagels and returned them - the employees there were more than courteous and swapped them out with the more traditional, less yeasty bagels I prefer. Now, the awesome bagels are back! Went by today and ordered bagels and even though they treated me very well back during the interim puffy bagel timeframe, they remembered me and threw in some free bagels today! I was pleasantly surprised and very appreciative of this kind gesture. Top notch customer service! I dont know why anyone would go to Starbucks when the coffee, food, and customer service is so much better here! Thanks again guys!

Great service! I was picking up breakfast for staff meeting. The attendant not only paid attention to my order until it was completely done but also offered a better deal. Great place clean. Can get a lot of traffic, but staff gets it though.

I just wish that you can replace all of the Starbucks with a caribou not only are the people nicer but the foods better and so is the coffee you just cant go wrong with a Caribou coffee and this is absolutely my favorite Caribou Im moving and Im definitely going to miss saying hello every morning to my drive thru boyfriend in the morning. I can honestly say they have never gotten my orders wrong ever and all the years Ive lived here and Ive lived here well over 15 years.

I love Caribou coffee. Simply the best chain of coffee shops around! Yes, this place can be a zoo sometimes, it is a very popular location. However, the staff is always very friendly and strives for the best service possible. They go out of their way to make sure the customer has the best experience possible. Keep up the good work!

I always prefer Caribou over Starbucks when possible. This one is a combined Caribou and Brueggers Bagels. There is a lot of seating and there is a lot of parking. I like how there are many options for seating - from nooks for conversations to the traditional row of bench with small tables for people working on laptops.Pro tip - if you come here around commuting times during the week I recommend driving through the shopping center parking lot and turning onto Edwards Mill Road because turning left onto Duraleigh can be pretty tricky.

I LOVE Caribou Coffee! White chocolate raspberry coffee is my favorite. I even buy Caribou coffee pods in Walmart for when I am not in Raleigh.

Caribou service on duraleigh rd was horrible poppyseed cake was dry and old exchange it for a apple something was even worst.

I stopped in here with some family members for an afternoon coffee and snack. I was impressed with the size of the store. They share it with a bagel shop and it is quite large and pleasant inside and out on the expansive patio. Perhaps due to the hour, mid afternoon, they were surprisingly light in the selection of snacks and treats. We ordered our drinks and enjoyed them on the patio on a pleasant afternoon.

Delicious bagels, drive thru service could be a bit better. Had to adk 3 times for splenda. Had to ask for straws, had to ask for napkins.

Good coffee and bagels but questionable work ethic. Closing up shop a half hour before closing time and worker is outside smoking and on the phone instead of taking orders...It was Duraleigh. Other experiences there including just today have been great, this was rather odd which is why it stood out so much!

The coffee is decent here as well as the staff. The environment is really nice, great for having a nice chat with a friend or getting some some work done. The Wi-Fi can be kind of slow especially when there are a lot of people there.

Service was terrible. Girl at front counter was rude, didnt ask if I was a perks member (which I am) and when I asked about the discount about bringing in your own mug (todays promotion because its Earth day) she wasnt very forth coming about the 10 cents savings. Now I know why I dont go to this location that often because of the bad service. Shame because its very close to my place of employment. Only saving grace is that the coffee was good.

Pull around to window, same car still at window.10 minutes pass, beginning to think this guy in front of me ordered 59 bagels or something.Car in front of me receives small bag, maybe 1-2 bagels (10 minutes for this?)Pull up to window, receive order, drive away. Looked in bag, 2 bagels I toasted with cream cheese. $9 for this?Don’t go here if you A) have somewhere to be, and B) want the correct order.

I really really love this location. There is way more parking/seating than the Cary location. Perfect place to study or meet for coffee. The bagels and lattes are great.The staff is so friendly and kind, and I have not had issues with waiting. I would say they are a tad loud, talking louder than “inside voices” as I can hear them from across the room very clearly. They gossip about the food too, I heard one of them say “this is not even store bought turkey, it’s not really real.” As much as I love this place and how friendly the staff is, I would love it even more if they would chat at normal levels and not bash the food, as I would rather not know! Ha!

Always charge me 7$ for a Leo De Veggie when I do a build your own with no cream cheese or anything. Should be under 3$. Very frustrating but staff is nice, just don’t know how to ring anything up correctly.

Horrible coffee with a very burnt taste, asked for a cappuccino tastes like old drip coffee with a whole lot of foam on top, asked for replacement for another drink. I get a Mocha with a sour taste to it. If you want true coffee I highly recommend going to Jubala, Lucky Tree, or Fount even Starbucks.... Not the place for good coffee

Consistently fast with their orders, and always friendly.

Have had the cold brew multiple times, and this past time, it tasted old and bitter. The sitting area was also dirty and trash laying around the area. I love the flavor of Caribou, so Ill be back at some point, but not anytime soon.

Love the place, nice staff and cozy atmosphere to work. The only bad thing is the place closes down at 5:00. I have been there a few times where they announce they will be closing and the place is packed. You can see the look on customers faces that they were not happy. This forces customers to find another coffee shop that stays open later. If you decide to stay open like the other Caribou shops; sales can take time to see the benefits and doesnt happen over night. This place is larger than the other Caribous with a bigger menu. From a sales perspective, this can be an added benefit. Please take this into consideration.
