Fast friendly service and very very tasty ice cream! They make their own waffle cones in house apparently and they’re incredible. The shop also sells confections like fudge, brittles, caramel apples, etc I would love to come back and try them. Kilwins is very consistent so even though it is a chain with multiple locations the quality at each one is exactly the same.

The absolute best toasted coconut ice cream Ive ever had in my life. I got the walnut fudge and a cashew bear claw, and my partner had the superman & the two berry pie ice cream with chocolate berry blues. Everything was perfection. Definitely recommend Kilwins to tame your sweet tooth.

Asked if I can taste the coconut chip ice cream because Im pregnant and I wouldn’t want to order it and dislike it and the rule is they dont do that anymore is what the young lady said not her fault, but then I pulled my mask under my nose for like 2 seconds because being pregnant 🤰🏽 my breathing is restricting seeing as how I practically ran down there to try it and the white chunky lady was rude about it said can you pull up your mask please instead of say im sorry we have to keep our masks up at all times .... its a bit ridiculous especially since most customers like myself are vaccinated I just would’ve appreciated it if she was more courteous about it. Maybe be more conceous about the type of customers rather than assuming I was pulling my mask down for no reason 🤨do better with customer care .

Ice cream was good, but their public restroom is closed to the public. Not great when you take the kids to celebrate after school. Had to walk across the street to the Hyatt. I just think if you’re going to be open to the public. Be open. Another customer came in whose small child had to use the bathroom as well. Luckily I recommended the Hyatt.

I loved Kilwins in Atlantic Station (Atlanta) and am happy they have one in Raleigh.

My coffee chocolate chip ice cream was wonderful. We took home a box of three different fudges to try because if you bought two you received a third for free. We chose dark chocolate with caramel, peanut butter and maple pecan. All were enjoyed to the end.

We stayed at the Hyatt just up the street from this Kilwins and made a pitstop in on 3 consecutive evenings. As everyone says, the smell when you enter is heavenly. We got a few of the peanut caramel apples the first night, and they were incredible. Extremely fresh! The next night was a run for milkshakes, and the final night was ice cream. Their ice cream is some of the best Ive ever had. Other than packing on about 10,000 calories, its an awesome confectionery!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars because its so fantastic! Immediately after walking in, the smell of this place will welcome you into an ice cream paradise. They staff is super friendly and the quality of the products is hard to beat! This is one of my favorite places for ice cream and desserts and I would recommend this place! This is a mandatory stop for anyone visiting raleigh, the staff is really friendly, SMELLS AMAZIIING, and everything is calorie free.. or at least thats what i tell myself to avoid feeling guilty.

We go here just for the ice cream because they have the midwest regional Superman ice cream flavor. Thats a mix of blue moon, red pop, and lemon ice cream. Its hard to come by in NC. Its in a really nice location right by shops, restaurants, and the bowling alley at a walkable distance, too.

First time at Kilwins. Didnt know what to expect. Kilwins has ice cream and also chocolates and fudge and other treats made on premise. We went for the ice cream and left with more. Its a real treat. It starts when you enter the place. The smells of the chocolates and other treats hits you. Its almost intoxicating. If youre having a bad day, just walk in and smell the goodness. Itll make it better. We decided to get some chocolate also. We got a couple bars. They have chocolate in various forms, gummy candies, different flavors of fudge, white confection bars and rice crispy treats with assorted coatings. And the ice cream. There were about 20 tantalizing flavors. The wife went with two scoops in a waffle bowl. One scoop chocolate and one scoop peanut butter. She was quite pleased. I went with two scoops in a waffle bowl also. I got a scoop of cake batter and a scoop of toasted coconut. Fantastic! Kyle got our ice cream for us. Super friendly. What a place. This wont be my last visit for sure.

This is a beautiful Kilwins!! My parents owned one years ago and it warms my heart to see all of the gorgeous (and amazingly delicious!) candy! All hand made!

I like the shake bt i feel it was to much milk and I am not a milk drinker. But it was really bussy which means it was really good for business.

I got a Smore Sundae, which was the smores ice cream with hot fudge, marshmallow, and whipped cream all in a waffle bowl. It was quite yummy and I really enjoyed it.

My first time at a kilwins was in myrtle beach and it was a horrible experience but this one exceeded my expectations. The best ice cream/sweet shop in north raleigh!! The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. You can get samples. The amount and quality of the product is worth the money! Its also less expensive then other ice cream places. They offer indoor seating and theres plenty of outdoor seating as well. I highly recommend to everyone!!

It was my first time ever going. It was a quick experience. A gentleman greeted me and he asked me what I wanted ... I told him like it was my first time i didnt know what exactly they had .... he kinda just stood there idk if he was confused or what, but he didnt really recommend anything or say anything in response. So I asked him if they have a certain brand that I typically like sometimes he replied yeah in the mist of that i noticed the cones on display so i asked for it. Overall it was a really good treat definitely would come back go again.

Hands down the best ice cream. We also really like their Cary location.We were visiting the area when discovered this ice cream store. However, they are so much more - with specialty items and other sweet baked goods, such as chocolate. We have since moved down to RTP and no other ice cream store has come close. Others taste overly sweet. Here they focus on high quality, creamy, flavorful ice cream. Im a huge fan of the toasted coconut, but their other flavors are great as well with a wide range from fruity to chocolate.Well be back for the next ice cream cravings and near the holidays to bring some chocolate to our families in NJ.

Absolutely SPECTACULAR! Customer service was spot on, the associate was knowledgeable about the products, engaging in conversation, and had a marvelous sense of humor. I loved my interaction her. The expertise she possessed in each area in which I posed a question made me feel confident enough to purchase all of me upcoming holiday chocolates today, as well as an ice cream cone! None of which were on my list for today. (Well, maybe the ice cream cone?!?!?)

The first girl at the counter looked at us with complete disgust and did not even offer to help. It was as if she did not want us in the shop. Minutes later a nicer person asked if we wanted to sample things and gave details on various items. If I was ONLY grading the quality of the sweets I would give a 5 hands down! But better customer service was expected and needed!

I absolutely love Kilwins in Raleigh! The ice cream is so delicious, and the staff is incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. The selection of chocolates, candy and other sweet treats is unbeatable. By far my favorite place for a sweet treat in the Triangle.

I waited at the ice cream counter for some service, young woman was working behind the counter, said hello and continue to work. I assumed that shed help me when she finished. The rest of my family was at the candy counter theyd all been served and were preparing to ring up. Another group of kids walked in and over to the ice cream counter and she turns asked them what they wanted they all wanted a glass of water so she helped them. I was so frustrated I complained to my family in front of the two women working there and left. I wont go back and wont recommend others to try it.

Best of the best! My favorite is the strawberry ice cream and peach ice cream, made with real peaches & strawberries. If I could give even more stars, I would! They also have wonderful chocolates galore.

Its interesting to come here. It appears to all be made fresh and such. But the chocolate and fudge are just ok. Nothing better than I can make at home. The ice cream is good, the waffle cones are very good. But the chocolate is kind of tasteless. Its thin, sweet, and lacks chocolate. The caramel candy is very soft and tastes ok. But its missing something.Everything I sampled and bought looked like it was going to be awesome, and other than the waffle cone, fell short in taste.If it was cheap, Id give it 4 stars bit because its very expensive, I can only do 3. Its fine for most, just not me and my discerning palette.

Went really late for a date night and the staff there indulged us in explaining how they were making their fudge and allowed a few samples. Went back since, just because of my pleasant experience prior. The fudge is incredibly sweet and just a little bit can go a long way.

Oh my... Chocolate heaven. Im addicted to this place. Every time Im in the area, I have to load up on chocolate. If you love chocolate, you need to visit this artesan chocolate factory.

I think Palmer chocolate is better and that is not saying much. Maybe I didn’t try the right thing but the chocolate is to sweet.... for the price I think the star rating is fair.

Store has a very large beautiful selection of treats. Im visiting town for a business trip and after reading the reviews my husband and I decided to stop in for some dessert. We were impressed with the selection, but not very impressed with the customer service. We were trying to chat with the cashier about what is best and I mentioned that I had read thier great reviews and not eve so much as a smile. In fact I got the feeling that I was more unwelcomed than anything else. I did get a scoop of each cookie dough and cookies and cream in a waffle cone to share with my husband. The cookie dough left much to be desired, the cookies and cream was good but not much better than cold stone or Ben and Jerrys. The cone however was perfect and delicious. We didnt try any chocolates but the fudge looked amazing.

I really like the flavors of their ice cream and specially their waffles. But in my last experiencie in Raleigh I was wondering to buy an apple pie apple, the girl told that I could wait for an hour because they were making it, so I decide to stay around with my kids, when the hour pass we decide to go inside for the apple but for our surprise they weren’t preparing the apples how I was told. Very disappointed for their attention.

If there was an option for zero stars I would go with that choice as the customer no service here is relentless. No greeting upon entry, the girl making the candy could not be bothered to talk to us & the girl making ice cream cones had no sense of urgency at all. In fact, guests walked in front of us for the same reasons.
