These chocolates are truly like nothing I’ve ever had before. The sea salt caramel are a favorite. The flakes of salt are mixed in with caramel, not sprinkled on top. Once you try these, nothing will compare!

I stopped by this shop and was impressed. Very pleasant atmosphere with a very pleasant owner and the chocolates are amazing! The consistency is flawless, with the outside having a rigid structure, with a smooth middle. I personally had the dark chocolates, and I would HIGHLY recommend. It was my birthday and my sweet friend sent me flowers from The English Garden and a box of Dark Chocolate Assortment. Salted Caramel is my fav but the other were super delicious too. I am just a huge fan of salted caramel and Azurelise didn’t disappoint.

Dark chocolate, peanut butter and caramel, what a perfect combination! Talk about my taste buds going crazy. I love all the chocolates created at Azurelise, but this one has to be my favorite!

Very disappointed. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone. I placed an order with owner Reginald Savage, and he told me he could meet the order (30 chocolates) and would personally deliver the chocolates. I stated the type of chocolates desired for this purchase and I was very specific as to the time and date of delivery of the product. The owner told me this was not a problem and that he would handle it personally. Sadly, the owner not only did not deliver on the agreed date, but he did not call to notify me of the problem in completing the order and the delivery. When I called and spoke with him about this issue, he became quite verbose and gave nothing but excuses. He felt that calling me back and communicating the problems were not of importance to him....stating that I should have called him. I took Mr Savage at his word that he could handle the order and deliver per our agreement. After some communication, Mr Savage told me there would be no charge, saying that he took ownership to the fact that he failed to meet an agreement and failed to communicate with me. Then he texts me that he IS going to charge me. Shockingly, Mr Savage went to the person whom the chocolate gift was for and took them back. I am shocked at the lack of professionalism & communication. Then to physically go to the gifted party and demand the chocolates back. Mr Savage, you should be ashamed. Sad! Buyer Beware! **** Mr Savage, your response to this review is grossly incorrect. You agreed to delivery on a particular date and time (Thursday, July 26, 4-8 PM), and you agreed to the chocolates that I ordered (mixed dark and milk chocolate, with and without liquor). You did not meet this agreement, and only delivered a box of chocolates (not even close to the order we agreed upon...only milk chocolates, no liquor flavor...just plain) the next day (Friday, July 27) after our heated conversation on the phone. Your excuses were that you did not have the material to make the chocolates, and something about lack of inventory. You could have called and communicated this problem prior to agreed delivery day and time! You did not!! You stated that you felt no need to contact me about these problems. After our communication Friday, July 27 afternoon, YOU, Mr Savage said that you were not going to charge me....that the errors were your doing. OF COURSE THEY WERE! How is this the customers fault? Then you go to the gifted party and demand the chocolate back from them.

This is where you will find the best chocolates in NC. I have tried the top ten of NC and we find these chocolates to be the best. The owner is very friendly and loves to chat with you. A great experience all around. The chocolates are all about substance and taste, not pretentious appearance.

This chocolate shop is great! As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with samples and explanations of the different chocolates. We loved the atmosphere and the chocolates. Reginald (the shop owner) is a very nice guy, would recommend to anyone.

On this beautiful February day I stopped by for a little sweet. Reginald suggested the Irish cream chocolate for today. It was amazing. I love all the sweets that come from Azurelise - but this one is now my FAVORITE!!! Will be back for more!

Chocolate, caramel and sea salt. Youve heard of the combination. However, have you ever experienced it? Seriously, the first time I ate an Azurelise Chocolate, my taste buds went crazy. The chocolate, caramel and sea salt was unlike any Ive eaten before. I would say, without a doubt, it was the first time I could definitely taste the salt while it blended with the caramel and chocolate inside my mouth. Try Azurelise. You wont be disappointed.

Went in to get some chocolates for a Christmas gift. I was greeted at the door the owner was very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere too! This local chocolate shop is awesome!

We got excellent chocolate and I had a great time chatting with the owner. You should understand that this is not a traditional storefront. It is half of a duplex that he uses as his chocolate factory. You wont find a display case of chocolates. I came after he was kind of wiped out from a big order, but he still managed to fill an 18 piece box for me. We have very much enjoyed the quality of the chocolate. I would shop here over Godiva every day of the week.

We bought an assortment and will definitely be back. What a great neighborhood chocolatier! (FYI the store looks like a house but is easy to access from Peace St., Boylan, Glenwood, etc.)
