My first car service with them was this Monday and I am happy with their customer service and quality of work.

Legit place for my Audi/European cars. I believe they’re honest and do their best on every job. I find the parts cheaper than the big greedy Leith or similar companies.

Highly recommend Reliable Import. They did some work on my Volvo and when the owner realized that an unintentional error had been made, he personally contacted me to make the situation right. I was very appreciative of the proactive actions taken by the owner and they followed through in every respect to make sure I was taken care of. Some of the best customer service I have ever received!

I have been taking my Audi to reliable import service and generally have had good experiences with them. I’m a little disappointed however from my last visit to not have received a checklist from my service inspection that shows the wear and tear and what parts might need attention in the future. I have received this before from them so a little disappointed I didn’t this time.

I had my Benz serviced here several times over a few years and I thought everything was great. They did run into an issue when replacing my batteries in which damage was done to another part. The owner totally took care of the situation and I was given a hefty discount too. No problem. I understand that things happen. I appreciate the owner making it right and he was very apologetic.Fast forward to several years later. I moved to another city and decided to go back to the dealership to service my vehicle. Upon inspection, I was informed that the 2 batteries that were replaced were not Mercedes- Benz batteries. I was informed otherwise and thought they were official parts. I also found out that they used an after market oil filter and it was fitted very poorly during my last service.The owner and staff are very friendly, but I wish that they were honest about using after market parts. They also kept pushing me to have oil changes at every 3000 miles vs the 10,000 that Mercedes Benz recommends. Now I realize why. Maybe its because they werent using the recommend materials/parts.

It is a relief to know that I can trust the advise of the people who take care of my car, which is rare when looking for a mechanic. If Lee says something has to be replaced or repaired then it has to be done.Lee and his team have taken care of my Lexus ever since the warranty expired. My first time here was a pleasant experience. I could not get a local mechanic to touch my VW Touareg so I did a Google search and found Reliable Import Service and I am glad I did. They were able to fix my exhaust in one day despite me not having an appointment. Because they were fitting me in and I did not have a ride home I ending up spending about 4 hours in the waiting room. It was nice because they had wireless internet, a bathroom, and refreshments. The pleasant women at the counter even gave my GF and I gatorade and one even gave me her leftover lunch because I was STARVING by 5PM! I kid you not!>>The repair cost was reasonable and the problem was fixed. Unfortunately they told me of another repair I needed. I had heard this problem 3 days before so I know they were not fishing for more issues. The quote they gave me on the second repair also seemed reasonable. I think Ive found my NEW GARAGE for my VW!

After purchasing a 2nd generation Acura MDX I needed to change the timing belt since there was no history of it ever being done. Reliable Imports was awesome! They got my SUV in fast and then even accommodated my delay in picking it up later than when I initially needed it back. The price was amazing and the entire staff was fun, friendly and so down to earth. Any future repairs to my SUV will be made here. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Ive now been here twice, and both experiences were exactly as Id hoped (with one minor exception). All the work was done properly (to the best of my ability to tell), the car was clean (you couldnt tell they were in there), and the price was exactly what was quoted. My only knock for 4 stars is I brought it in for rear brakes, and forgot it needed an oil change, and they didnt ask me if I wanted one. (they did the last one). I would prefer if they could have done it at the same time. Otherwise, great service, and Ill be back to get my oil changed anyway!

Great service for your German cars but they know Japanese cars also. I will never go to the Mercedes dealership in North Carolina again. They did an awesome job on my E350. I highly recommend them and their prices are fair.

Brought my daughters 2007 Mini in for service; picked Reliable based on 5-Star Yelp ratings. The ratings are correct.Scheduling the appointment is a breeze - used the online appointment scheduler, was confirmed in minutes. Drop-off is easy as well, you can use a key drop and leave the car after-hours.As a first time customer, it eased my mind when I saw that the shop is filled with all kinds of imports - Mercedes, BMW, Lexus .. and Mini. So these guys are specialists.I got a call before 10AM with an estimate (shop opens at 8). Id had repairs estimated at the Mini dealer beforehand, so had an idea of the work that needed to be done. Reliable diagnosed the issues spot-on, and did the work for less than half what the dealer quoted.I had warning lights on the dash - check engine and brake. The check engine light turned out to be a loose wire on the oxygen sensor. The brake light turned out to be a faulty brake pad sensor. I could easily have been told that I needed a new oxygen sensor - or new brakes. And I would have taken that at face value.Im always leery when working with a mechanic; since Im not mechanically inclined I have to take their word on whatever repairs they recommend. And Ive been burned in the past by paying for repairs that in retrospect werent really needed. My experience here demonstrates that Reliable is a trustworthy business.Reliable Import Service is a reputable & honest repair shop and I recommend them.

Once again, they have exceeded my expectations. My daughters 2000 Lexus 300 had a misfire and started running weird and the check engine light came on. They immediately got her car in and repaired in less then 24 hours and even gave me the name of a good tow truck driver that they use to tow it safely to their shop. I did this all over the phone, as I am in Florida and my daughter goes to NC State. They gave me two options: repair the one faulty ignition coil and all 6 spark plugs or for the same labor charge.....replace all six coils and do it right. We chose to do it right since it was the same labor charge for one or six coils to be replaced. Even from Florida, I would still choose to bring my daughters car to Reliable. They are fair, honest and timely. I trust them. They even sent an Uber to pick her up to get her car. Highly recommend Lee and his shop.

Very nice people, Im sure they do quality work, but they do take awhile. I had a pretty simple and quick service that took them all day (8 hours). Also, not really sure what this is, but after their suggested alignment, my steering wheel vibrates and its never done that before. As a side note, while Im sure they do quality work on imports, after my oil change they placed a sticker in my car that said return in ~5k miles for another. As the manufacturer, and other shops (including dealers) state, the oil in my car should be changed once every ~15k miles; so Im not sure they are familiar with specific cars - or maybe they use cheaper oil, but I would hope for the former. Overall, nice, clean place with friendly staff; maybe I just caught them on an off day..Update: After seeing this, Lee one of the owners, called and offered to look at the car again personally. I have to admit, thats some quality customer service. After checking everything back out, they found one of the rims was slightly bent that had been put on the front, probably causing the vibration. They recommended me to a shop down the road who could fix it at a good price. This is a great little shop who genuinely cares about its customers and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure they are happy. Maybe more important than that, these are car people, who really like cars and know how to take care of them. I would definitely recommend this place.

This garage is friendly, honest, and they know what they are doing. Today I brought in my car to have them inspect the brakes. They could have told me anything and I would have believed them. What they told me was that my brakes were in good shape and I owed them nothing for the inspection. What else could you look for in a garage?

My wife and I have been taking our vehicles here for maintenance and repair for the past four/five years. Both of the cars are our first, so they have a lot meaning to us beyond their monetary value; thus, we are very selective on where to take them for service. We are currently station at Fort Bragg and we would rather make the two and half hour round trip to bring our cars to these guys.The receptionist Brooks is very friendly and easy to work with for scheduling and other accommodations. Their mechanic Nick is experienced and have been doing a great job on our cars. But most importantly, the owner, Lee is honest and fair, which is rare these days. He truly stands behind the work that goes on in his shop and does not try to shy away from any responsibilities IF there are any issue with his services.Overall, I will continue to take my cars here until I PCS to another duty station. And I would recommend this shop to my friends.

Weve had our 2011 Audi A4 since new and it is about to pass the 200k mile mark. It is a great car but is getting to the point where the expenses of maintaining the car make us question whether it is wise to keep putting money into it or put that money toward a new car. Having now found Reliable Import Service we have made the decision to keep our Audi on the road. The staff at Reliable took care of the issues that were necessary to maintain the car at almost half the cost of the dealership. Having someone I can trust to identify only the things that need to be done and feel that Im getting a fair price is great peace of mind. Today the car is driving better than it has in a long time and we are happy to be saving money each month instead of having a car payment!

Reliable did a pre-purchase inspection of a 2015 Honda CR-V which I then purchased. Later Reliable did the recommended front and rear differential service and oil change. Everyone was courteous, prompt, and informative. And the leather sofa was really comfortable!

I bring both our 1993 Mercedes and 2005 Scion to Reliable for all services. Kurt, Lee, and Nick are easy to work with and very honest. When I first came in, I had a list of things I wanted done and Kurt said lets see what you need first, and try to save you some money. You may not need all of that. This was very refreshing, as most shops will just do the work and not try to save you money. Their shop is very clean, the waiting room is comfortable, they get parts quickly, and I have never had any issues around scheduling the car in when I wanted. These guys are great to work with, know the vehicles and repair methods well, and I highly recommend them to anyone. We will be there for a long time...

The owner and staff at Reliable Import Service were very pleasant and honest. I took my car to the shop for a check engine light, coolant leak, and oil change. The Technicians ran a diagnostics and contacted me for authorization to complete all repairs. After the completed the repairs Lee informed me that my check engine light was on again. He kept the car for a couple days tracked down the problems. I was very pleased how the repair shop handled the situation and suggested what repairs I needed. If i wasnt leaving the state in a week I would have allowed Reliable Import Service to complete the repairs. Lee ensured my car was okay to drive home. The shop also emailed me a detailed description of parts and suggested repairs to give my mechanic at home. I would recommend Reliable Import Service to anyone who needs car repairs. I just visited Reliable Import Service for the second time. They were consistent with getting me in and out quickly and with sound repairs. They were of course a fraction of the dealer quote but also more competitive than the other local important shops. They will be my go to moving forward for repairs, oil changes and the like on my A5.

I had a great first-time customer experience 10 days ago when I took my 06 Sonata to Reliable Import to replace my AC system. Pam emailed an estimate the evening after I brought the car in, and she called at 12:30pm the following day to let me know it was ready to go. Just in time for the long hot summer! They provided a 2-yr/24k mi warranty on parts & labor, which seems longer than usual. Id definitely recommend Reliable to friends and will return when I need to.

Very helpful, I was in town visiting my parents, car was overheating. My mom recommended them as she has gone to them before. We walked in on Monday morning, they looked at it, found what was wrong and fixed it. Pricing was good, answered all questions too, highly recommended.

All the Excellent reviews are correct! I went to them with a potential issue with my stirring. Lee took the time to do an impromptu detailed inspection of the stirring system. He discovered a very slow leak which was not serious enough to require a very expensive replacement procedure. I was impressed the time Lee took to explain what he found with his thoughts and he even topped off the stirring fluid. After all of this time, he did NOT charge me anything! I was so grateful I wanted to pay for at least the stirring fluid but he refused. This just demonstrates that the team runs a quality and caring business. I personally will not take my Honda’s to anyone else.

Great service here! After I had some work done on my car the oil gauge was not reading correctly so called them to ask about it. They told me to come right back in so they can take another look. I just spoke to Morgan on the phone for almost 15 minutes and she was so helpful. This place is the opposite of a cash grab business. The Nissan dealership quoted me 300 dollars for a transmission fluid job with no questions asked. Morgan took the time to ask me about my car, and see whether it was even necessary. The result was that I don’t even need one right now. It is rare in this day and age that a business saves you money. When i eventually do need maintenance done I will be bringing my business here. Thank you for practicing honest business.

After our engine light came on, we called the VW dealership in Raleigh and they werent able to get to us until after the holiday weekend. We contacted the guys at Reliable Import and John said they would take a look and if it was something they could get to, theyd take care of us right away. I wanted to leave this review because I have left a review previous that was not to pleasant about my car repair. Lee had contacted me and wanted to know why I was not satisfied with the repair job. I have explained it to him the reason why I was not please. He told me to bring my car back to the shop and he will look at it himself and make sure that he will repair whatever is wrong with my car. I have never had the experience and the service that Lee has provided. He took the time to look at my car told me what is wrong with the car and repaired it. Lee has gone above and beyond. I recently went to Reliable Import for a check on an oil leak. The guys at Reliable showed me where a botched job at my last oil change (performed at chain location) caused the leak. Luckily, it was a quick, cheap fix. They are honest and great at what they do! I am now a loyal customer.

After pricing around for a needed repair, my husband ended up bringing our Lexus to Reliable Import Service to have the front right strut replaced and the breaks repaired. Reliable Import Service not only offered the best price in town, but my husband mentioned that they were both honest and professional too; which Im sorry to say is not found too often these days at car repair shops. Needless to say, we were happy to find great mechanics and an excellent price and will be a repeat customers for years to come.

I went through so much headache with trying to get my water pump and a value cover replaced at Leith VW. I truly want to thank Brooke for listening to my concerns and standing up for me while on a conference call with Leith VW. The whole staff at Reliable Imports is so wonderful and understanding. They explain to the customer in detail what is actually going on with their vehicle. I wish I could have find this Auto Shop years ago. They put a starter and front brakes on my car for about 30% than the dealer quoted me. Chase was prompt and courteous. The shop was very clean. Ill be going back!

Fantastic customer service, very transparent and quick with the repair on my 2012 VW GTI. They waited to start working until they got in touch with my warranty company and notified me of the changes to my bill before work started. The staff was knowledgeable, explanatory, and friendly, and the facility was clean and orderly. I will be returning for future work.

I went to this place and talked to Lee about my girlfriends 05 Toyota Corolla. The car was jerking back and forth and we thought that we were starting to have engine trouble. I brought this car to this place for a second opinion because I got an estimate for almost $800 dollars at the other place. I left my girlfriends car overnight and Lee called me the next day with the best news. He said that there was recall on a malfunctioning circuit board from Toyota...in other words the repairs had cost us ZERO DOLLARS. Lee even went as far as calling the Toyota dealership and set us up with an appointment with the fine people there. I was thouroughly impressed with the honesty displayed by Lee because he didnt have to be as honest as he was about my girlfriends vehicle. I have a new mechanic for sure and the only reason it took me this long to post this review is I misplaced his business card in which a grabbed plenty. I also gave them all out at work......thanks Lee, you guys are the best.

I have been taking my 2001 Saab 9-5 to Reliable Imorts for over 2 years now and I can definitely saythey uphold the name. I have always been able to call and easily talk to Lee or Curt for questions orsetting up an apointment. As mentioned in other reviews the facility is clean and orderly with a pleasant waiting room. The work is always completed on time and above all it holds up. If you are taking your import anyplace else youre doing yourself a disservice.
