Really enjoyed my experience at Chapel Hill Tire. Dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation and they completed in the hour they told me. I was nervous because I left some cash in my console where my tire key was and hot dog it was still there when I picked it up. Dante at the front desk was great. Very friendly and kept me updated via text. I asked if they could top off my air and Dante came out and did it himself. Will definitely visit again.

Definitely the best experience I’ve ever had at a car maintenance shop! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, specifically Donta. I didn’t have to wait long, but the waiting room was clean and comfortable to do work in while I waited. I got an inspection, tire rotation, and oil change and the price was way more reasonable than anywhere I’ve been in the past. Definitely will be returning for all my future car appointments!

My check engine light came on. I left my car at CHT and received a ride home from Steve. As it turned out, my repair was covered under warranty, whew! I received regular updates on its repair, and was charged nothing for the repair. I was treated with respect and courtesy. Will go nowhere else for future car service. These guys are the ONLY people I trust with my car. My partner and I had our car looked at before we took a 9 hour drive out of state. This was the first time we had ever driven that far in this car and wanted to make sure it was 100% safe. They checked our car top to bottom and if there was an issue they had photographic evidence to back up their word. These guys have what everyone needs in a mechanic - integrity!

I wanted to have my used car looked over to make sure I should purchase it or not. They were beyond professional and provided me with a full detailed report with photos. Not to mention their customer service was amazing! Dante is the best there and I am sure everyone else is the same level of customer service. They are definitely a top notch business!

Have had several great experiences working with this shop. I really like that they send pictures of the issues to your phone so you can see what they are talking about rather than just having to take their word for it. Never a good time taking your car for repairs but they make it less painful with their great service!

Had my first visit there this morning. The staff are incredibly professional and courteous, shout out to Tim! The place is very clean and has a comfortable waiting area. Cant recommend it enough, will definitely be a repeat customer.

I am very excited to find these guys. I felt they really cared about my issue and did everything in their power to fix it. The manager was very knowledgeable and even brought me into the work area to explain and show me where my problem was. It was truly a pleasure dealing with them!

Daughter took her car in for an oil change and engine light, and gets a bill for $140+ for the oil change and detection of where its leaking. Maybe a little excessive $80 to determine the leak. $80 leak would have been better served determining whst the engine light indicated but that was not even done. Then they give an estimate to repair a gasket of about $1000 AND another $1000 of recommended services some of which were unnecessary/ Grand total.... Over $2100. Up sell, up sell, up sell.

I with this place was more honest. I got them to do a car diagnostic on my car and they told me my control arm needed replacing. I was hesitant to just spend $600+ on one part which is outrageous and I ended up getting a second opinion. Turns out they misdiagnosed my Subaru and lied to me so I’m not a big fan. The problem with my car was my transmission. Hope everyone else has better luck here then me.

They came and picked up my truck and noticed there were a few issues. Called me and let me know what was wrong. Fixed everything and dropped it back off in time for me to make my treatments at the hospital. Very professional and would highly recommend their services.

We have used Chapel Hill Tire multiple times. We have used for tire repair and replacement as well as oil changes.The service and communications are excellent.Most recently we used their pick up and return service for a winter package and state inspection.I do not think you will find anywhere that provides this level of service.We left the car and key in the driveway and the vehicle was returned with all of the work completed.Communication and payment was done by text.Great value for the price!!

I bought new tires, got a wheel alignment, had an oil change and finally a state inspection performed recently. The friendly service by Philip was excellent and he even price matched what I had been quoted by Discount Tire for the tires. Pleasant guys doing good work at a fair price. Use of technology to explain diagnosis is strong. Upsell is presented without pressure. All repairs completed or suggested as upsell were honest and logical.

This place is great. I love when I find an auto shop where the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and informative without being pushy or intimidating. The waiting room is spacious and clean, the guy that takes care of customers is kind and cordial. Ill definitely be going back for future car maintenance/repair.

They were very professional and helpful with my inspection. It was easy to schedule and they made sure to include a price list for things I may need to get done in the near future. Front desk personnel was very friendly and welcoming.

I was upset that I was charged for this service as found out my ac Freon was not low, but “overcharged” from previous service from another tire place in 2019. They should have at least call me to ask if I wanted them to remove some Freon, and perhaps not charged me for entire service as issue still exists.

State inspection. The staff are always polite, explain the work to be done and pick up and drop off my car.

The staff members were very cordial and helpful and got my car worked on promptly. I accidentally left a debit card there and they called me promptly. Primarily I was impressed with the ease of the job and with customer service, plus although they offered options for upselling they did not push the issue too much.

This was my first time using these guys for a general car inspection. They did an awesome job and I appreciate being able to make an appointment online. They took the time to call and confirm my appointment and were able to see me when I showed up early. Their waiting room is pretty nice, I appreciate them abiding by covid-19 standards as well. They refilled air in my tires without me asking as well which is nice, definitely would recommend and likely use again.

Coming from a small town, Ive found it difficult to find quality and TRUSTWORTHY mechanics in Raleigh. I was recommended Chapel Hill Tire - Crabtree, and they did not disappoint. Kind, courteous, and very knowledgable employees all around. I was able to make a drop-off appoint the same day, have one tire replaced and one repaired, all within 3 hours! Tim kept me informed every step of the way, gave me all my options, and recommended the best-choice for my car. I cannot recommend this place enough!

They were professional. We conducted the non contact method. They picked up my car in the morning at the time confirmed the previous day. Completed the oil change etc and retuned the car right upon payment which was done through non contact means as well. I am very pleased with the service and their professionalism. I have been using this company for approximately 10 years now and do not even venture any where else out of curiosity 😉

Tim was fantastic. Courteous and attentive. Quickly diagnosed my problem and and got it fixed. Didnt feel pressured at all as sometimes happens at repair facilities.

Great service and fast turn around. Went in for an alignment and four new tires. I was told my rear tires looked a okay, and I just needed two new tires and a rotation. I really appreciate the honesty and the down sell. The service was also same day and didnt take long. The mall is across the street too providing a good place to kill time.

I called CHT while sitting in front of my daughter’s school waiting to pick her up in the car pool line. My a/c was blowing hot air and I was melting. I spoke with Tim who was very kind and professional, making sure he didn’t talk over me when I was explaining that I needed my car serviced. I dropped off the night before and had a text message by 10 am the next day with the cost and links to the comprehensive report of needed/recommended repairs (it’s half way through 2021 & last svc was 2019!). Tim also called me, which was great bc I had more questions), paid via text and picked up my car with ice cold a/c that night. The after hours pick up box made the whole transaction contactless, easy & convenient. No more waiting in auto shop lobbies!!! I went to get an Inspection with a sort of unique issue that may have failed my vehicle but Tim was very professional and honest and wasnt sure if I was going to pass but he went the extra mile to ask so I wouldnt waste my time and money. Came in for a state inspection so I could get my car registered. Workers were nice and they got it done fast, but as I left they gave me an invoice for a recommended $1,000 repair. Just bought my car from a dealer and had my own mechanics look it over so I know for a fact there’s nothing wrong with it. Don’t love that they’re trying to up sell me $1000 when I came in for a $30 piece of paper

I cannot tell you how indebted I’m am to this business. I drove over a razor blade and didn’t know it. While I was on 440, I saw my tire pressure rapidly going down. I was praying that I would make it somewhere that could fix my tire. I had clients on their way to meet me at a house. They got me in and out and oh.. I never leave reviews but the people here (Jake) are top quality. I got a flat less than an hour before they closed. I rang up and was told no worries they would help me out as soon as I arrived and to please drive safe. I was so grateful! Cars are stressful and this was the best experience possible. Speedy friendly service with a clean and COVID protected lobby & payment process. Just came in for a state inspection and was in and out in 30 min. They didn’t try to sell me anything like most shops do. Very nice waiting area more like a nice dr office with large screen TV (with Netflix even), which customers control and mini fridge with bottle water. Plenty of cushioned seats and space to distance.

My first time going to this location. Have been going to the Chatham crossing location completely unsatisfied with that location. Glad I decided to try this location people there are extremely nice very helpful went beyond the call of duty to make sure that I was not taking advantage of which Chatham had tried multiple times to have me get work that was not needed. A 100% recommend this location. The service manager Jack driver did an amazing job making sure everything was to my satisfaction.

A gentleman named Jake was Extremely helpful throughout the process. Not only did he tolerate MULTIPLE phone calls and questions but he gave me a lot of information and advice. Made an appointment online, they got back to me in about 15 minutes to confirm. They did the. Oil change and cabin filter for a reasonable charge and even gave me a discount for first time customer. Plus I got a free cool trucker hat! They sent a text with what else needed to be done but didn’t do the hard sell. I knew I needed other work done, and I will use them for it when I’m ready. Was my first time at Chapel Hill tire. Great family atmosphere. Waiting area was very comfortable with WiFi & snacks if you had to wait a long time. Great set-up for working while waiting.I had brakes and rotors replaced on my 18 Mazda and they did a great job. Also ran a full car inspection to let me know any other issues going on.Like most car shops they did not pressure me into having to get all of the work done there or having to get it down in that same day. Only talked about the work I schedule to come in for.Great prices as well!

Probably the best experience I have had getting work done on my truck. Easy process creating the appointment and they came and picked up my truck. They reviewed the issue, called and explained the needed work and knocked it out quick. They completed the work and brought my truck back with the issue resolved within 24 hrs. Awesome service and I’ll definitely use them again.

I had used Chapel Hill Tire for years while I lived in Chapel Hill. I was very excited for this location, which provides the same great service i was used to in Chapel Hill. They provide a comprehensive report on your vehicle and make recommendations, but they never pressure you or are bothersome about it. I will continue to use them and recommend them to friends

So I had a damaged rim that took 10 minutes to fix. Customer service was ok but I was charged $143 and that was with a $20 discount. I think the price was too much. A new rim cost 145 on ebay. I think it should be determined on the damage instead of a flat rate of $150. I honestly think the work done was worth maybe $50-$75.
