Dont take your car to these people I have contacted my lawyer. Car went to shop running. They tell me my engine was going bad after they so call fixed truck. Take the car back because it was still leaking oil. Then they tell me oil pan gasket. I spent over $2000. Then they say engine is bad and I have to get towed. I paid the remaining balance on truck over a few weeks they tell be to get by today or they will charge a fee for leaving which is understandable. I get tow truck to pickup from shop to bring to home. I get home today no oil pan on my truck. Muffler hanging on ground. What type of mess is this. That is crazy Im so upset and they dont come back until next week after holiday. These people are crazy. I have never seen anything like this in my life they did not put car back together and took my $2300. Please dont take your car to these people I think they must have thought we were going to tell them to do engine. I think any good reviews are fake trust me.

They herassed me about a repair that I didn’t have before my car went to them. When tow truck company offered to fix they went ahead and fixed at a higher rate and held my car for 2 weeks. I paid for the repair that my car was there for and the repair I didn’t authorize the first called my relative and then withdrew from my act without my permission.

They are not professional! I asked if they could fix my car and what was happening with it, they said yes! Someone referred them to me! Had my car towed there on 12/18! They gave me an estimate to fix car! They spoke to my husband a couple of days later and asked for permission to look further! They were to call him back in a couple days! We never received a call and no answer when we called! Finally on 12/30 someone answers the phone and said they were away for holidays! Bottom line this went on until 1/24! They didnt want to release my car!

Had a blowout on my boat trailer on a Saturday after they were closed, they told me to come anyway they wouldnt leave me stranded and then went above and beyond to get me back on the road! Thank you so much for your help! Would go there again if Im in the area.

God lead me to this place of Business today through prayer. Though they were not open to work on my vehicle but in turn gave me some good information and made me feel at ease after the unpleasantness my day had started with. I will be entrusting my vehicle and time with them. Always pray for guidance before committing yourself to anything.....Prayers work

Had my car towed from the dealership to Auto Show & it was fixed within one day! I spoke with Kim, she was very nice, attentive & took the time to listen to my concerns & give me quotes over the phone. I was followed back up with Chris & Becky about my car. Arrived to pick up my car the next day & saved over $1200.00 versus what the dealership would have charged! They even offered a payment plan if I couldn’t pay the full balance (never heard of that before)! Very nice people, my car is riding good & I’m very happy with the service that was provided to me, I’ll definitely be going back!Thanks Auto Show! :-)

I touch and agree with another individual in regards to John being a racist, and this place ripping off people who are trying to make ends meet, that’s why it’s not located in North Raleigh because the people in that area more than likely won’t need John’s business, and they have enough money to obtain a lawyer, and sue him for every dime he has for shady and unethical business practices. Once he has your vehicle, he has power and control over you, and will talk to you like a master talking to his slaves. However, I believe you reap what you sow. Trust me, this business preys on the poor, and I have dealt with this business for years since it was originally Keene’s Tires located at the old flea market off Rock Quarry Road. Mr. Keene was an honorable man and I know he’s turning over in his grave about how this businesses is being ran. People, please don’t get con by a con man, I know from experience, and if you are desperate for tires, just go to Rent and a Roll on New Bern Avenue, which their reviews are excellent.

Had a flat tire-the Staff had me on the road in a half hour. I was pretty desperate because I was unfamiliar with that area, had a fast leak in my back tire and no cash on me, just plastic. I had to make it back to work before I could get to my normal repair place. They took care of me, and did not over-charge me for examining my tire (nail in sidewall) and mounting my spare. Such a blessing right when I needed it. All the staff were very nice, and Id go there again if I needed a repair. I was impressed that they did not exploit my situation and treated me well. Thanks folks!

When we first started going it was great but after they seen we keep coming back things just wasnt right. So three weeks ago the OWNER told me I had a problem with my Cam Shift Sensor so they suppose had fix it before I left out of town. So go out of town my engine light came back on saying its the cam shift Sensor which they suppose had fix the first time. So long story short they NEVER FIXED the Cam Shift Sensor at ALL and they got money out of us and now its no where in they system saying they fix it but its ok because they will not worry about us no more. WHAT GOES AROUND WILL COME BACK

My first problem was picking up my car sitting in auto shows parking lot after they were suppose to fix it. It was as dead as a door knob! They claimed it was my new battery which had no problems before I went there. I had to purchase another one and could not turn off my car after leaving there until I got one. I initially took my car in because the ABS, Brake and Engine light was on. It was due for inspection soon and would not pass. I also took in my daughters car because her service light was on and made a squealing noise. I was told before going there that it needed an oxygen sensor. They claimed it needed a timing belt also. A payment arrangement was set up which I initiallythought was great. However, I had to bring both cars back with the same lights on and problems. They kept the cars much longer than promised.They told me the lights would go off in my car after I drive it a certain amount of miles, I have driven it WAY pass the time they suggested. I have spent $1,140 on these cars thus far and refuse to pay another dime. Both cars still have issues and I actually had to call the police. They tried to keep my car when I decided to take it elsewhere. The manager who CLAIMED to be a christian has major anger issues,extremely rude and very unprofessional! I would not suggest anyone EVER go to this place. I wouldnt take a toy car there! PLEASE BEWARE RATING IS A 0!

Today my wife and I exited on Poole Rd from 440. My check engine light came on and started flashing . The engine began running rough. We turned into Auto Show and asked them to check it. Within 10 minutes they diagnosed it as an ignition coil. They had us back on the road in less than an hour. At a reasonable price. We highly recommend them and appreciated the prompt professional service.

I did not like the service at all. A Few months ago my mother took her car to the place to have some work done which totalled $2300. Cant even tell you if its legit. They initially offered a payment plan for her but a few days later the owner forgot that he even extended the offering. When she finally went to pick up the car, the gear shift was stuck which resulted in her not having to drive it home. They claimed something was wrong with it and decided to charge her for whatever service that did with the gear shift. Just this pass Friday, during my mothers second attempt at getting her car, a cash station attended next door to the place notice that the car was over heating. Turns out they took my mothers intake hose out her car. My mother dropped her car off back at the place during closing hours with a note stuck on her cars windshield. The next day they claimed it was already in there. But now they are charging her additional fees for her water pump which was never an issue to begin with. I rate their businesses a 0.

Extremely disappointed! I still don’t have my car. It was dropped off on 7/2/18.. The motor arrived the Monday after. Broken promise after broken promise, excuse after excuse, and now what I’ve been prompted to perceive is lie after lie. I’m going to see if I can get part of my money back and have it towed somewhere else where someone can actually get the job done and at a cheaper price. I’m furious at this point with them. I’ve been very patient and respectful with each phone call and one trip that I made, still no better results, no better customer service. I highly DO NOT recommend this place to anyone on my word!

Usually people tend to write about negative experiences - I get it - its the world we live in. But I want to tell about my really good experience at Auto Show... specifically in my dealings with Kim. I had my sons car serviced there and needed to bring it back...Im usually a very easy going person but I was prepared for a fight - Kim stepped right in after hearing some of the guys discussing the issue with my sons car and assured me everything would be taken care of. She was very pleasant and easy to deal with - no fight or loud voices need. My sons car was taken care of sooner than I expected. Thank you Kim for helping Auto Show keep my business.

Awful Business.Dropped off my vehicle on Nov 13th to be diagnosed. Owner finally called after a couple of days to tell me the diagnosis and cost. When asked how long it would take he told me that the vehicle was already halfway taken apart so it shouldn’t be long. Although surprised that they had already started work without my authorization, the price was good so I told them to proceed. After continuous weeks of calls and visits to get a status on the repairs, after about a month of waiting they told me that they were putting everything back together and it should be finished within an hour only to call be back after a couple of hours to say that a noise was coming from the vehicle so I would take a little longer. Fast forward to January 2nd, they called to say that they had taken the car back apart and would need additional parts to fix the vehicle and wanted to know if I wanted to continue to put money into the repairs. When asked for the cost of the parts and labor they gave me an ballooned cost and also told me there was also the cost of disassembling the vehicle again which doubled the price of the initial cost. Of course that had me an awe, and confused since I had no idea that they were charging me to disassemble the vehicle to fix a problem that was not even there before I dropped it off. I then refused and told them I did not authorize in further work, neither was any additional cost communicated to me and I was not paying for them to re-disassemble the vehicle for an issue they created. He then tried to say it was unrelated and I authorized it, to which I challenged. After I noticed the situation escalating, I told him to stop all work. The next day John called and threatened that I either authorize the continued work at the new price quote or he would charge me $90 a day to have my car on the lift taken apart. To which I replied I will not authorize any further cost and that I would call my Attorney. Attorney is drafting up papers now. Don’t know what the end result will be but this is a warning to anyone else…..

Was referred to Auto Show by a friend but my experience was beyond unfathomable! Made an Appointment days prior, only to get to an appt which was not upheld in a professional manner. Dropped the car off at 8AM Sharp, actually was their about 7:50 AM. I figured it would pretty much be days work so i didnt call to check the status until about 2pm. When i called i was greeted by a lady named Kim with a unfriendly demeanor considering her position. Didnt get that warm introduction or professional that I was looking for. Moving forward i inquired about the status on my vehicle and she blatantly told me, if you drop your car off, and dont give us a specific time, we will get to you when we can at that point i didnt understand why i had set an appointment then lol. After a full episode of law and order! Kim became very irate with me as a paying Customer. She told the owner John lies upon me while on the phone. Claiming im bringing confusion to the office and that on a previous call i hung up on her which were not true lol. John then got on the phone and became very irate with me basically telling me to shut up and let him finish talking in the middle of me explaining my frustration with his secretary Kim. And after that Kim hung up in my face. This is the Kicker once i called back instead of John trying to reconcile the situation as a owner he asked.me How many times have I called? The only two simple questions i had were May i sit in the waiting room while you all finish? And will i be able to make it too the bank? AND John told me too just Let It Go..WOW Upon returning to get my car i got no formal apology.SMH. Joe looked liked he wanted to apologize but couldnt bring himself to do so. Its very unfortunate because if this experience would have been good. I could have recommended alot of friends and family! This establishment made me feel super low. And thats unfortunate as a paying customer. I was humble with them the whole time because i dont know what they could have done behind my back with my car. I didnt trust them anymore. The vibe was very racist in this establishment. I am a young black female and i felt very inferior in this predominantly white establishment. The smart remarks are out of this world as well. My grandfather came inside when i picked up the car to use the bathroom. Who is 86 ! they told him it may be a fee when he was trying to use the bathroom, except try to put it off in a jokingly way. It felt uneasy. I felt disrespected as a human being and unsatisfied as a customer. Thats it and THATS ALL. If you want to feel beneath someones feet when exchanging communication as a paying customer! Bring your car to be serviced here! Also served with a nice side of racist pie. God Bless America. Peace

Unprofessional. After several visits to the Auto Show I would advise you to be very careful with this busines. Upon disagreements the owner was going to try and hold our car from being on payment plan to making us pay our car balance in full. UNFORTUNATELY for some this is where they get some people but Fortunately we could pay our balance.Please be very careful CUSTOMER SERVICE means alot and they dont have it Especially the Owner JohnI WILL NEVER GO BACK✌

If I could rate ZERO stars I would! This has been THE WORST experience with ANY business that I have EVER dealt with!! The owner is RUDE and a flat out LIAR. I brought my car in to be worked on and was told it would be 3-5 days... it has been ONE MONTH and I still DO NOT have my car. And on top of that I have had several calls from them stating that they need to fix this in order to fix that resulting in hundreds more dollars than I was originally quoted. Wen my husband called to inquire what was going on he was told that if he called them again they would delay the repairs another day. I honestly want to call the police!!

What is lower than 1 star? That is what this business deserves. The receptionist is very rude, nasty and very unprofessional . They kept my car for weeks claiming they could not figure out the problem. They called me to pick up my car because it was all fixed. The car would not even make it out of the parking lot ! They kept it for another whole week before finally resolving the issue. The office staff surrounded me as if they were going to attack me because I asked about why my car is taking so long . Horrible horrible experience.

It freaking sucks dont ever in your lifetime take a vehicle to let these people work on nothing you own. They will rob you until you cant see. My husband took his expedition to get work on back in December, and now we have to take it back every 2 weeks. Our bill is 1700.00 and the problem they were supposedly had fix is way worst then before. Now hes telling my husband its something else. Im over it. This place still rob you and lie to you in your face smiling. God is going to close there doors soon.

My original experience was good well until my vehicle ended up with more issues once they started working on it. DON’T REFER ANYONE TO THIS PLACE!!! They will call and tell all your business and constantly call and harass your referral. They take FOREVER to fix your vehicle but want IMMEDIATE PAYMENT. After spending over $2000 getting work done the same issue to the vehicle came up 2 weeks later. EVERY MACHANIC SAYS AND I AGREE THAT AUTO SHOW PROVIDES POOR WORK. KIM has the NASTIEST ATTITUDE AND JOHN WILL CALL ACTING LIKE A REPO SHOP FROM A PRIVATE NUMBER IF YOU GO THRU HARDSHIP AND CANT PAY A SIMPLE $100 BALANCE especially after we waited almost 3 months for them to repair our vehicle. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE. HORRIBLE ATTITUDES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!! Was referred to this establishment by my husband friend and they did a GREAT job on my truck in a timely manner. Now the second, third and fourth time we took our vehicles to them they did a HORRIBLE job and keep the cars forever! We have 4 vehicles and we intrusted these people to take care of our vehicles. I should have know it was a mess when the secretary was getting the business handed to her and she just didn’t say a word. The owner hides out when you ask for him and the mechanic are quite challenged. Unfortunately I recommended a friend to them and she had a worst experience than we did and I feel bad bc we referred her too them. NEVER EVER EVER again will AutoShow get any money from us.

I am highly upset‼️.AutoShow BodyShop off Poole rd don’t have to ever worry about me spending another dime at that establishment. Ive been going to get my car fixed by them for alittle over two years now and ANY time my car ever gave me problems they would be my first option. But never again....I should’ve known and just used my better judgment. For the past 8 months I’ve already had been hearing nothing but negative customers service reviews on that shop,but me being the individual I am, I never allowed those comments to hinder my business with them (the owner john)UNTIL today. I experienced it first hand . I’m sure just based on how rude, aggressive, initially didn’t let me get a word in to explain the issue with my car, loud, and disrespectful the owner was n how he spoke to me, I won’t be surprised if he doesn’t stay in business much longer. Not to mention my mother n law had been taking her car there longer then I have and not to long ago she had a similar issue where he spoke to her the same way. Let me not get to the way he speaks to his employees ( or mayb just the African Americans ones it seems) like they hold no value to the company as his employees for HIS business. Then the lady receptionist enabling/justifying his poor behavior. Some Owners of businesses need to humble themselves a bit more because just assure as the business was giving to you it can surly be quickly taking away just simply how unprofessionally you handle things and treat customers. Yrs the staff is nice but they are wolves in 🐑 clothing...aeveral months ago two of my best friends bought me a new interstate battery and my car ran great but took my var to this auro show place and the next moment i went to pick up my car my new battery was replaced with a old battery that was drained..all to get more money from me to buy another batteey from them at their cost.....their work is to be questioned aa well aa their honesty...please dont trust them ...theres deciet, also where i work they have crooked on them also. All those WHO may like them buyer beware .....your turn and time ...they will get yall!!!! Supposed to have work on my brakes...going to have them recheck....i heard they pray on women most of ALL$$$!!!!!

Read the complaints on the BBB site.This should tell you to never take your car there.My daughter took her car there for a water pump and timing belt.They messed her car up and after sitting there for 4 weeks we had to finally paid the extremely high bill to be able to have it towed out of there and taken to a real shop.The uneducated mechanic had cut a line to the fuel pump and he couldnt figure it out.We asked to be reimbursed and they refused.This place should be shut down!

Today I witnessed a car broken on the side of the road because of these peoples negligence. Really, u forgot to put on the nuts on the tire!?! and the tire fell off while she was driving she could have been seriously hurt! I was just driving by trying to see if i could help the poor lady.
