This one is the best grocery store i have been, the customer service is great they go above and beyond trying to help you find what your looking for. The jewelry store inside of Fred Meyers is also one of the best jewelry store I have ever had the pleasure dealing with not like most jewelry store where they try and hard sell you something even if you told them you were just browsing and because that it made it enjoyable to buy something for daughter. Next thd pharmacy is the best one I have ever dealt with they go above and beyond

Just left this Fred Meyer location I called before arriving and spoke with Stephanie in customer service. She was very pleasant and kind and informative over the phone. When I got there she was extremely helpful and socialbe she was quick and efficient. She is definitely one of a kind. It is really hard to find someone now in the customer service industry who is as kind and helpful as she was. If she was my employee I think she very much deserves a raise she was absolutely amazing. Even if its a new bagger, who mixes the raw meat with produce? AND puts a package of meat into that same bag with the plastic meat bag opening facing down? So, believably, my blueberries now have raw pork juice on them, and will be thrown away. Winco has better prices, and even though Im not being paid to bag, at least Ill not mix foods like that. Maybe the Fred Meyer baggers should be getting their food handlers permit to understand some food basics.

Good store with all your basic needs, but my only issue is prices, prices, prices.This is a chain grocery store, so Im not shocked, but I think the corporate should do a better job with their prices. If they cant lower them, then add offers.For example, I go to Walmart and I get a big family size cereal box for like $2.50. The same regular size brand in Fred Meyer will cost you maybe a $1.50 more. Despite how they try their best to make the store look nice and as clean as possible (for locals and classy folks), but it is just like any grocery store. Impress my wallet not my eyes.My recommendation to the corporate is to add more offers/discounts on certain items, if they cant reduce the price.

This a very nice Fred Meyers store. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a small store with a very poor floor plan. Its difficult to navigate your way around. The employees are terrific! Even though its a small store, they carry a pretty good variety of products. Theyre pick up service is awesome!

Used to love coming here. Now I get followed around and watched, like Im stealing. Every, Single, Time. I have spent a lot of money at this store over the years, never stole anything in my life and never would. For them to discriminate because I have dreadlocks is not okay imo. I never used to get followed until I changed my hair. Do your job correctly and watch the people that are actually acting suspicious. My husband also has the same problem here just because he is a person of color.

Skip it if you can. During a time of record profit for grocery stories (since you cant eat out) they gouge the customers $2.50 to pull their own money off their cards, including disability benefits. We all know ATMs are predatory, and there is no different for this chain.Not to mention this particular store had an obnoxious parking lot, tight small cash registers (despite a lot of floor space, seriously this place is laid out horribly).Go to any other place and youll do better.

I go there whenever I need to grab something we forgot to buy at our Walmart.We also go there when we need to grab a bite from the deli area. Sandwiches are good but I had better. They need to innovate on that.Set up is okay. You get used to it after a couple of times going there.Staff are helpful sometimes but need to be nicer. You know like put on a fake smile under the mask.The main issue is the parking lot. We dont feel safe sometimes because of Homeless folks. Management should put a budget for a security patrol car like the Walmart.They also need to put more offers. Like real offers, not sale tags with prices more than competitors.

This is definitely my favorite store to shop for groceries. Very clean, friendly cashiers and they have great sushi which is a great bonus :)

This place is almost pathetic. Steadily going down hill. Lived here 20 years and watched it’s decline in so many ways. Ever since they changed the higher up mgr. a few years back. Not only unorganized but the lack of knowledge in any department is hard to believe. As bad as Home Depot. Not to mention getting rid of name brands and pushing Kroger products which are terrible. It used to be a decent place to shop. I’ve had to weigh out convenience vs quality. Now I pay a little more but can at least find what I need. Plus they change their gloves in deli department like they should. We had to actually ask a clerk to do that. She got upset. Unbelievable.

Their natural and organic foods selection is decent and they have the best price for Field Roast sausages around.I have come here quite often for a quick lunch. The salads are decently priced and you can even buy straight up cooked chicken breast. The sushi ain’t bad for the price but I wouldn’t recommend the soup. It seems a little canned.The prices here seem fair and the quality is high.If you wanna a healthy and somewhat cheap lunch, come here.

On 11/21 there was a big line-up of folks waiting to pick up online orders. Up to 10 cars waiting for a pick-up space at once! Despite the heavy inundation at the end of the night, the pick-up order crew were still fast and efficient. Im not sure if there was some sort of FM app issue that caused the pile-up, or if this is the new norm under the most recent COVID restrictions.Even so, I was impressed. Yet another reason Ill continue being a frequent FM shopper. 😊

I purchased a 15 ounce Best Food Mayonnaise on 9/25. When I went to use it, it opened easily and was not sealed. It was discolored and I was unable to use it. The date o it is Jun 08 21. I am most disappointed that I was unable to alert the store because the phone is all recordings no customer service.

Really friendly, helpful staff and the courtesy clerk/cart jockeys are fast.The best Fred Meyer I have ever seen for making sure there are all sizes and style of carts available for customers.Notice in photo that they are even separated and stored by type or style of cart! I have been a customer for 4 years and never have I or my husband been treated with disrespect at the fast food area. I will no longer go there again. The elder lady refused to give us what we wanted whem we ordered chicken. It says 8 piece chicken but doesnt say which type. All we wanted was all except breast. She refused us to give us what we wanted and walked off to talk to another employee. Took her a minute to come back. We always got what we wanted but she said that is what everybody tells us. Never will I ever come here again.

Great organic selection and I am always able to get help out. Abe has helped me out to my car the past few trips to the store and he has been so kind. I can tell that he is a very hard working guy.

I used to love the service deli at this location but lately it has gone downhill. The night associates talk too much amongst themselves while helping you and they make so many chicken tenders and JoJos at once that they are all soggy not crunchy. And if you ask for a new batch or for them to cook it fresh they tell you to talk to the store director about the quality of the food. For the price the chicken should be made in smaller batches more often to insure crispy moist chicken tenders Or even if its baked or on the bone. Not full hotel pans so they dont have to work they can just stand around talking. Lost me as a customer of that service deli.

This Fred Meyers pharmacy is really bad and no manager seems to want to take care of the situation I experienced with the horrible pharmacist in 2 1/2 weeks ago on a Friday night. I have had my prescriptions taken care of by Fred Meyer for years. The best one ever is in Lacey.Due to my experience at the river road Fred Meyer, I am going to change my pharmacy to a place where I know I can trust them to do the right thing.

Do not buy cigarettes from these guys, I went to get a pack told them my brand, they grabbed the wrong brand and charged me, I didn’t notice at first and when I realized it I didn’t even leave the counter I told them they gave me the wrong ones, got attitude they said they refunded me the money and made me repay instead of paying the small difference, IT HAS BEEN OVER A MONTH AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MONEY BACK. These guys have no problem stealing from you!

There has been a confirmed Covid -19 case here at this Fred Meyer brought to my attention by an employee they have not posted anything to the public and aren’t doing anything to contain it I do not feel safe to shop here I feel sorry for the workers who aren’t being helped at all during this crisis DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW!

Quick in and out. Parking is generally a bit tough unless you dont mind parking further out or get lucky. Great assortment of choices in every department. Deli is usually pretty quick but today stood there for awhile with no acknowledgement before giving up and walking off.

Its a very nice FM store. They remodeled a few years ago, and it shows. Very spacious and airy. Very comfortable shopping. They have a kids play area open daily until 7 PM to dump the young kids.

What the hell happened to the pharmacy? I remember not even a year ago when you called the pharmacy and there was a problem you were greeted with a helpful concerned attitude. Now if there is something wrong with your insurance or your doctor did something wrong they treat you like garbage. Like how dare you even bother them with your medical needs. The one lady there is short and rude as soon as she encounters any problem, she regularly chastises me on the phone about my medical problems, and constantly talking down to me. I am asking you for help when I come in there with a problem, a lot of us dont know the ins and outs of the insurance arena like you do and might look to someone who fights in that arena all day for help. The attitude I get from your pharmacy is great unless there is anything wrong with my scrip or my insurance then your the worst person possible and they hate you. And this is mostly from one lady I tend to run in to on the phone more than in person. I cant for the life of me remember her name. Most of the people I deal with in person are nice and friendly and in their defense if your doc doesnt screw up your script or your insurance isnt bitchy that day they are a great pharmacy. Just never have a problem.... and you will be fine.

I don’t usually write negative reviews. But the experience I had at Fred Meyer today was heartbreaking.I usually always have such a great experience. Fred Meyer is a great store, and I like shopping there. However, there was one employee there that made me not only feel uncomfortable, but disrespected.I was in the dairy free yogurt section. I was having issues grabbing the silk almond milk yogurt from the top shelf because I am really short. I kept looking behind me, and no one was there so I kept reaching for it, and when I finally grabbed it- I saw an employee behind me just staring at me in the rudest way possible. She looked at me with a very certain “you’re in my way” and blocked the way I can get out of the refrigerated section. It was a Caucasian lady with straight blond hair. She was older, and she was covering up her name tag.I immediate apologized to her, because I didn’t want to offend her since she looked so angry with me. She kept staring at me with a “how dare you” look, and when I said “sorry to bother you” she rolled her eyes at me.I was wanting to grab more yogurt, but she gave me the stink eye and quite literally rotated her body to death stare me.I don’t know what was up with this lady. But she never even said a word to me. She just looked at me rudely, made me feel uncomfortable, and most of all disrespected as a customer. Fred Meyer employees usually have a smile on their faces, and I’m also so happy to be there.I would give Fred Meyer a 5 star rating.I would give this lady a 1 star rating. I’m sure she’s a good worker. However, customer service is important to keep your customers on your side.A couple shout outs to two great people.The guy with the curly hair that works in the natural food section (where the larabars are).The cashier named Colin over in the home section.These two were especially respectful and made me want to keep going to Fred Meyer.I hope that lady who was rude to me has a better day, and I pray she doesn’t treat anyone else how she’s treated me today.

Worse experience ever. The online has really been struggling for months. Tonight they were three hours behind and the manager tried to explain. Part of his explanation involved asking if he had ever delivered my groceries before. Why is that relevant? If you knew me I might get my stuff faster? 6 months every week check my history. I have a knee injury and this had been life saving for me, but the last couple times slow, out of stuff, and once they didnt get my order even though I had a receipt. Had to go inside and the store manager was beyond rude. Customer service fixes every problem. They get a -10 in that department. Thank you a former fred meyer customer. Cut up my card and tossed it in the trash.

Love the selection this place has to offer but had an unusual experience there today.I decided to try a new recipe that required me to tie a flank steak, I went to this store to get the materials I needed to make it. I was almost ready to leave when I realized I forgot the twine (rope to tie the meat). I went and found an older woman putting canned goods away and asked if she could point me in the direction of the twine and she said to check baking isle and if it wasn’t there and I quote “go to the butcher counter they may just give you some” I was happy that that was offered as an alternative since I couldn’t find any in the baking dept I moseyed on over to the butcher counter and asked the woman if she could direct me to where the twine was, she responded “ I believe we have some on housewares, if you can’t find any come back and we can just give you some” I said “oh ok I’ll check there thank you!”I went up and down the isles in housewares multiple times and still nothing, I then decided to check the grilling section too and again nothing, back to the butcher I go I see The same woman that told me to go to housewares and let her know that I couldn’t find any. She motioned to “TJ” to “can you find her something to tie meat with in the back?” He said ok and went back when he came back out he told me that the twine would be in housewares. I explained that I’d been there among many other isles and they must be out of stock. His response was we must be sold out and I can’t sell it to you from the back. I simply said ok and left, ironically enough at self-checkout I had an item without a tag and cashier that helped me put a blanket sku down and submitted the price. After leaving Fred Meyers i traveled up the road to the Safeway on canyon and went to the butcher there and the polite customer service orientated woman smiled and me and said “oh here I’ll give you some and a little extra just in case” proceeded to tell me how to cut or break the ends and The proper way to tie it.I manage my own retail store in Olympia and I can say that in this instance Safeway is the better place to shop. I had a basket full of items at Fred Meyer and nothing in my hands except my wallet at Safeway, and Safeway was more willing to give me 10in of string 🤣

The people are always so nice and helpful. When I cant find something one of the employees will go with me back to the place and help me find it. They smile allot there so you can tell they enjoy there job very much.

Very good store, everything you need. On this visit I had my eyeglasses adjusted at Vista Optical, filled prescription at the pharmacy, shopped for a TV (half price deals) and did miscellaneous shopping. Freddys has just about everything you need including banking and a great coffee shop.

Overheard mgmt talking about their covid case with one of their cashiers... utter lack of respect for the public and their employees... I will never be shopping here again

Where ever we are on the West coast we try and shop at a Fred Meyer store! This particular store is our favorite with a large selection of food products as well as being a place for one stop shopping! The fish monger and butcher are both experienced and friendly. The meat and fish are of excellent quality. The store is clean and well managed with courteous staff.Update to my prior review: still find this store convenient and all that was said above. On my shopping trip today I did find the clerks on the glum side and really need training on bagging. Why can’t they ask how heavy the bags should be? When asking customers for a donation by rounding up their total, It would be good if the management of the chain would inform their staff of the specific local charities the donations go too. The staff does not today.

Employees are nicely helpful. Theyve always been good about directing or just leading me to the things I cant find.I like how their prices apply to everyone and not just if you have their membership card. Instead your reward is coupon that is for money off anything you purchase and money of their gas.

Wonderfully laid out store and I was particularly impressed with how hospitality of the team. During most of my visits I get a conversation or two. Something more than just a, Hi or How are you today? Much appreciated.

Its a fairly nice store up front. Could use a sidewalk wash. It gets pretty packed but the lines never seem to be more then 4 people long. Where as Walmart has 3 registers open at max.

The store is similar to the ones back home and we were able to find what we were looking for.

In regards to customer service, this particular store is fantastic. There was an incident near the deli/hot food area today, where I acquired a nice 2nd degree burn. The employees were very quick to respond to my request for help and not judge my tears. Yes that is their job to help, but they went above and beyond and didn’t waste a second to help sooth the burn. I went to urgent care to have it treated. When I called to speak to the manager she was so kind, and very on top of it and reassured me they’d check the temp of what burned me, and adjust it down.

I never really knew how great of a store this is...the main reason I love to shop at Fred Meyers is the prices are great with rotating bargains so you can have the best of everything at different times...it is well stocked and offers a deli, bakery and a pharmacy...an all in one store...not to mention an in-store bank...then on the other side of the store is pretty much anything you need from the home and more...the people who work there are friendly and attentive to your needs...this store is like a mini mall...they also have motorized carts for the handicapped or if you had some other reason why you needed to use them!...all in all every time I shop there I can get everything I need and more at great prices!...thank you!...Fred Meyer...you are truly an asset to the community...signed...Satified repeat loyal customer!

While they do have a large selection of produce the quality is aweful. The last few times I have come here there has been mold on the strawberries and cherries. The premade salads are also silmy on the bottom. Please do a better job at managing your produce department.

Although i dont like that they remodeled and things are hard to find now... i love one stop shopping! Good prices on bag lettuce and frozen veggies. Our clerk, the last few times is quite entertaining and i like it. I am there often.

The place is always busy and the rows are packed with stockings people. The new bagger and checkers are just stuffing things in bags when I have it on belt to put in correctly. Cold and warm put in same bags.

Great overall general section of merchandise, but the main reason I shop here is the grocery department. They offer a very large variety of fresh organic produce (chalkboard almost always boasts over 100 items daily) as well as local vendors. They offer a free fresh fruit item to the children rather than a cookie from the bakery (therefore teaching a lifetime of better habits). The quality of their produce and meat departments are excellent. Customer service is 5 star every time.

I love this Fred Myers, it has great produce, nice deli with tons of options to choose from. The stores clerks go out of their way to help you. Tons of parking and convenient gas station.

Probably the best overall supermarket. I prefer it over Safeway. WinCo has better regular prices, but you can buy for much less here if you buy on sale. Plus, quality is better.

The downtown Puyallup Fred Meyer is always clean and organized. There are always sale and clearance items to help the budget. And the pharmacy has long hours, making it convenient to pick up prescriptions either while I shop or after. Staff is helpful and friendly throughout the store.

The prices are a little high, but they have a well stocked store, even for Vegans. The store is always clean. They are an island unto themselves. They have everything. They have, produce, dairy, seafood, sushi, deli, frozen goods, dry goods, furniture, rugs, toys, guns, fishing poles, live boat, camping gear, automotive, hardware, fans, heaters, air conditioners, drills, garden supplies, garden center, holiday items, clothing, flowers, socks, shoes, linens, kitchen wares, make up, decor, jewelry, personal products and the list goes on and on. Its like a super Wal-Mart. You will be surprised when you walk around, it is really a one stop shop for all your needs. Oh and the staff has always been very nice to us.

Fred Meyer has everything you are looking for!! The employees are awesome!! Except they shouldnt be allowed to smoke in front of the store right by the handicap parking spots. I have cancer and have to sit their and breathe in the cigarette smoke.

Its odd that Google wants me to review a Fred Meyer. Ill give it a shot. Its a Fred Meyer. The grocery prices are higher than Safeway, but the selection of organic products is pretty good. You can also get everything you need in one spot. Its like Walmart, but with more class.

Clean and well stocked with a wide selection of grocery items. Friendly staff. More enjoyable to shop here at Fred Meyer than at the Walmart which makes the slightly higher prices worth it. Plus you get rewards on gas so you can get some of that money back if you buy gas from Fred Meyer. Overall the price difference between Fred Meyer and Walmart is negligible in my opinion.

I wasnt a big fan of Fred Meyers in the past but now with it being the closest grocery, Ive grown to appreciate it. Nice to not feel bad shopping there like one does at Walmart.

I love Fred Meyer and almost exclusively shop there. I recently bought a new TV and mounting bracket. I love the TV. But I did have an issue with the cashier that checked out my purchases. He failed to even mention that there was an extended warranty for the TV. When I asked him about it, he said that it had to be done on the same receipt as the initial purchase and this would mean that Id have to have the transaction voided and done over. This was a problem since Id paid with my credit card and the credit isnt usually put back to the card for a few days. I would have had to come back and do the sale later in the week. I ended up not getting it but was a little put off due to his attitude about this...he was not courteous or helpful. It would have been a pretty big inconvenience for a customer. I did mention to him that maybe he should consider mentioning the warranty before ringing up the sale...just avoids a hassle.

Love me some Freddies! This one has been updated and has a much more upbeat vibe. Sushi made in-house is great.

Actually, this was just a quick pit stop on way home from work. Grabbed my Starbucks mocha and the few things on my list, went to self check out, and back out the door in no time. Left me time to do my donation at Goodwill, and go to the library.

Large store above average item selection or maybe its the layout that just works. They have some of my favorite gluten free options.

Clean, updated store. Everyone there is friendly and even when it gets busy, you get checked out relatively fast. Prices are okay, but you can find deals on certain foods with digital coupons and automatic price mark downs. The price and discount on gas is excellent as well!

Have always loved Fred Meyer stores. The employees are Union, friendly and courteous. Makes for a great one stop shopping experience. Only wish they were in Minnesota!!!
