I was taken in right away for my appointment, which was where the good aspects of this experience ended. The nurse who took me back didnt even hesitate when I told her that Ive had issues in the past with eye drops; she held my head back and pulled open my eyelids to put them in, giving me numbing drops before the dilation drops without asking whether I wanted them. (I didnt.) I honestly have never felt so physically disrespected and violated at a doctors office as I did then. She then left me for the doctor to come.Once she left, I waited in that room for an hour. A full hour. No one came, no one noticed that I was there until another nurse walking by happened to look in. I heard her ask someone else what I was doing there, and then I was led to the other side of the office; apparently, I had been put in a room on the wrong side, so had been waiting for an hour in the wrong room. The doctor came in then and was very quick and didnt seem to have much time for me. He didnt pay much attention to what I said and went through the prescription stuff quickly. Then he took me out into the glasses center and told me to pick out a pair; basically it felt like being shot out of a Disney ride into a gift shop.I picked out a pair of glasses (because I did need them) with no help from any of the staff, and then had to wait another while in order for someone to check me out. I paid for the glasses and a week later, they came. Turns out the prescription is wrong, and Id rather return the glasses and get a refund and go to a different eye doctor than ever, ever go back there and give them my time or business again. But unfortunately, they wont allow a refund. There are lots of good reviews about this place but pay closer attention to the bad ones, because theres a through-line with all of them. I get that mistakes happen but the level of disrespect and lack of caring for a patient here was utterly ridiculous.
The receptionist was polite, the technician was efficient and nice to me. Dr. DOYLE was amazing! He looked at the pictures of my eye and gave me his best advice! Thank you for helping me ! I appreciate it so much!
Been going to this guy doctor for years now they’re good everyone there does there job awesome they would’ve been great and amazing if they pick up the phone they do not pick up whatsoever been trying to get my contact lenses and they will not pick up the phone or call back
I normally don’t bother writing reviews (good or bad), but my experience with Advanced Eye Care Associates was very negative.I went in for an eye exam - simply to update my prescription so that I could buy a new pair of eye glasses. The exam went alright, although, Covid protocols were in place at that time and I had to sit in my car, wear a mask, etc.I got my prescription, bought new glasses online, etc. After that - they billed the wrong insurance co. then billed the right one, but I still owed over $100! After several calls back and forth, I find that the reason my insurance won’t pay is that the visit was listed by the Dr as a medical reason for the visit! I went in for a simple eye exam because my old glasses weren’t working for me anymore. My theory is that they were trying to make up for the fact that I didn’t by a pair of glasses from them.
I made an appointment to get new contact lenses. I go every year for these, because I have permanent double vision and glasses make me dizzy. When I checked in, I told the front desk Im here for new contacts. I told the doctor, Im here for new contacts. I paid a $50 lens fitting fee before I left, AND THEY DID NOT ORDER MY CONTACT LENSES.Their excuses: I should have told them I wanted new lenses. Also, not everyone requires corrective lenses, not everyone wears context lenses, not everyone wears them for medical reasons.Weird policy.
BAD BAD BAD!!!WRONG MEDICAL PRACTICE!!! I cant believe this place has 4.5 rating on Google. It is impossible. The Dr. there are treating me rushed. They spent minimal time with each patient. The eye exam is horrible. They try to get you dilated every time you go there. They do dilation before actual refraction, which shouldnt be practice. I went there to get an eye exam, I got a very strong and wrong prescription (-1 more than my current one). The Dr said I have -0.5 astigmatism, but I have never had this issue. The next week, I went to another place, I got a totally different prescription without any astigmatism and my new prescription is -0.5 different than what they give me. I highly doubt their doctors qualification. Again you cant rush your patient when you are doing refraction test. This isnt right way to do it!!!!!!!!!!! I wasted my money there. Luckily I didnt purchase a glasses there and will never going back.
I dont understand how its almost a hour wait before being seen when youre booked for the first appointment of the day. They should really adjust their scheduling or at least give better communication about wait times. Maybe next time Ill just text that Ive arrived but then make my coffee, read the news paper, reply to some emails, vidchat with my old friends, research a new optometrist office, THEN drive over.
I found this place by accident when I had to see a Dr for a personal issue (non emergency). I walked in and explained my situation and they immediately helped me and managed to get me seen by a Dr. extremely helpful. On top of that I must say at this place the Doctors take time to talk to you and treat you like a patient. I am not used to that. Most medical offices nowadays get you in and out quickly. This place was the opposite. Excellent “bed side manners”.
They have a very very high level of expertise with the latest technologically advanced equipments.Courteous and patient friendly place. Dr Scott W. Sylvia gives attention to each and every details and explains everything so well. The nurses, staff, technicians are amazing. The office receptionist is so so helpful and courteous.Everyone in the set-up is proficient and efficient.
Loved this place. During COVID, this practice took extra precaution into how they let people in and how they conducted exams. And, I was very impressed with Dr. Cox. I had my baby with me the day of my eye exam. My baby screamed during the entire exam, and Dr. Cox was able to remain patient and conduct the exam so I didnt have to reschedule! :)
Not my story, but this needs to be shared.Bad experience at Advanced Eye Care Associates. I had an appointment yesterday and wanted to decline dilation. It is not recommended for pregnant women and since the door isnt closed for me having another child I am careful about what chemicals I expose myself to. I was told the doctor wouldnt see me but the technician would ask anyway. The doctor did end up seeing me ( I ended up having to lie and say that we were actively trying and that I could be pregnant at that time) but didnt address the questions I had or even speak to me (other than read this line, etc). I was pretty much treated like a $ instead of a person. I only feel the need to post it here because I had recommended them on Next-door in the past. Ive decline a lot from my physician, dentist, etc. Ive never had an medical experience anywhere close to how dehumanizing that one was. Ill be searching for a new eye doctor for sure.
I cant say more what an exceptional experience I had visiting Advanced Eye Care Associates. The process was efficient and caring but most of all, I received a thorough and understandable explanation of my eye issues by my doctor. Unlike other optometrists, I was walked through the photos taken of my eyes, provided an analysis of my eye anatomy and together we discussed expectations for coming appointments. I could not have felt more relieved! Thank you! Advanced Eye Care Associates. I have already recommended your services to a friend. JD
The billing department NEVER picks up. We were billed incorrectly for different procedures. We went in to get a stye infection examined, but was instead billed for contact lens fitting and routine eye care. They sent us a bill twice after speaking on the phone with the same items. They sent a claim to our insurance, which doesnt cover vision. I called more than 8 times over the span of 4 months, and this issue is STILL not resolved. They said they would file another claim with the correct items, but I have no way of knowing whether they did since they NEVER ANSWER the phone. Even if they do resolve this issue, dont visit here. The doctor Scott Sylvia took a look at the stye for 5 minutes, said there was nothing they could do, then proceeded to bill over $200 for one visit. Save your time and money.DO NOT believe the 4.5 rating on Google. Probably all PAID Reviews. Look at the 2 star rating on Yelp.
I had an appointment here yesterday, 4/22/21. I was happy with the intake and the support staff as they were thorough with their diagnostics and made every effort to sanitize and clean everything. My compliments really stop there.I had my eyes dilated before I saw the optometrist and was then handed paperwork to fill out. Why would you do that? When I informed the optometrist about this, she shrugged me off and said it takes 10 minutes to start working. As far as the exam goes, it was rushed and I felt as if I was being treated like a child. I seriously considered walking out a few times.Once the exam was over and i was able to pick glasses and get out. I am not sure if I picked the wrong doctor or what but what a miserable experience. I will only be going back to pick up my prescription.. What a miserable experience.
I LOVE Advanced Eye Care! Wonderful doctors, great service, and an incredible selection of eye wear. I wont go any place else!
The front desk staff at this place are rude and incompetent. I came here for my third visit and found out that they had the wrong insurance on file. They never confirmed my insurance with me but instead just charged me extra for each visit. When I tried to work with the staff to correct the insurance and get a refund for the visit, they became incredibly patronizing and kept referring me to different people who didnt know how to fix the problem.I then asked for a written contact lens prescription. They took forever to get this and pretty much threw it at my face. When I called back later to work out the insurance error, they claimed I was out-of-network even though earlier they were able to pull up my account on their computers. I later checked my insurance account at home to find out they were indeed in my network. They said they would follow up with me but after hearing nothing for a couple of days, I called back again, then a week later...still nothing. This experience was so frustrating. The doctors here are very good but due to the behavior of the front desk staff I am sad to say that I will be looking elsewhere for my eye care!
Always love visiting Advanced Eye Care for my yearly appointments. Dr. Doyle is very thorough and pleasant. This visit I had an assistant, Brendan, whos personality was such a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend them if you need an eye doctor.
Thorough check up but too much idle time waiting. also the front desk staff could use a refresher class on general cheeriness, politeness and making the customer feel that they are not an imposition on their important jobs
Wonderful experience with Dr. Cox! He answered all my questions with great patience!
Excellent service, from exam to glasses. Very nice, competent staff who made the whole process very smooth.
My first time going there and everyone was amazing. The safe was friendly. The dr took her time with me. Explaining things. They don’t push you to buy unless it’s 100% necessary. I highly recommend this place.
I was a new patient at this facility and both the optometrist and their assistant breezed through my eye exam. Everything felt very rushed and that they were just trying to get it over with or hurry up and move to other customers. I had to ask twice to get my prescription and then call twice to get my pupil distance, which was not included in the prescription. I felt so unsure of their work I asked for a second eye exam to which they were happy to announce was not covered my insurance and would cost $150. Due to Covid you are not allowed to enter without first speaking over the phone other wise I would speak to a manager. This is a business first and foremost and I feel like a fool for trusting them as a new patient.
I have an amazing doctor! He definitely understands i cant jump from no glasses to bifocals. Through the years he has been working with me. I really appreciate him. Also had a great experience yesterday getting glasses the man working was very kind and friendly. Making an appointment and staff are great. I have been going here for years and never a problem yet!
The staff is very professional, kind and respectful. I suggest people with optical issues and concerns, come check out Advanced Eye Care Associates!
I have been with this medical practice for over 10yrs. In my humble opinion, it has gotten better and BETTER AND BETTER every year. From the moment you walk into the front desk to the moment you leave the building, the patient is well taken care of! The entire staff are professional and courteous. The billing is excellent and any issues are taken the extra mile towards a resolution. My optometrist, Dr. Matthew Doyle, explains everything with such detail that one can understand in layman terms. He exudes what a doctor should be...he cares for his patients and it shows. My children, now young men, go here also.I am sure other places are just as great but for me, THERE IS NO OTHER PRACTICE I SEE MYSELF GOING.
Efficient, professional, kind. Pleasant staff and doctors using Covid19 precautions. I felt safe getting my eyes checked here at this time. Ive been going for a couple of years and its been a good experience.
They don’t want to give me a refund and say I have to speak w a random person? Carissa who does it? That’s my problem why? Horrible service. One star.
I went for an appointment and wanted to decline dilation due to possible pregnancy (it is not recommended for pregnant women). I was given a VERY hard time about it. When the doctor did agree to see me he didnt answer any of my questions and barely even spoke to me. I really felt like I was being treated more like a $ than a person. I will not go back.
Rude rude rude!!!! and super unprofessional. The comments they make about the patients that can be heard is appalling. God forbid if you have to call them, they speak to you like a child. They definitely do not put the patients needs first. They should not be able to speak to people the way they do, but that shows a lot about the manager at this establishment.
I highly recommend them! Fast, friendly and answer every question.
Disappointed to have to leave this review. I went in for an appointment in early June when I was covered by Medicaid. Later on in June, my insurance changed. I was then sent a bill for money I do not owe because the establishment billed to the incorrect insurance. I called and spoke to someone who said they would fix the situation. They did not. I am still receiving bills and threats that the bills will go to collections. I have since left voicemails with the establishment that have gone ignored. This is extremely unprofessional. I need an upgrade to my glasses now and I will unfortunately be taking my patronage elsewhere due to the disrespect I have endured from this place.
I was taken right in to my appointment. The assistant who did my initial eye exam and dilated my pupils was very efficient and pleasant. I then got a very thorough eye exam with Dr, Carl Corrow who is a joy to have as my eye doctor.
Very impressive operation; organized and smooth.Knowledge here speaks for itself.
First visit living in a pandemic world. Very impressed by the current attention taken to process patients and assure safety. I’ve been a member of this practice for more years than I will reveal, but continue to be pleased by the quality of care, caliber of the professionals and staff to assure best patient experience.
Everything about this experience was unpleasant. I waited for over an hour before I was seen and when I finally saw the doctor he seemed more interested in selling frames that performing an eye exam. I called a week later for a prescription for my contacts I was told that I could not get one because I never informed the doctor that I needed a prescription for contacts. Months later I called for an eye glass prescription and I had the same issue. I was told that the doctor did not write an eye glass prescription because I did not tell them that I went in for an eye glass prescription. I have never had to inform an optometrist that I need an eye glass prescription. The staff member was also extremely rude and unprofessional.
Advanced Eye Care Associates have associates who are very courteous and professional. The associates and doctors relate well with the patients and make the effort to inquire on your progress and concerns. I have a lot of confidence in the way they handle my vision problems, and I would recommend them without any reservations.
I love this office i been for like 4 years or more and I never go to change . Thanks Advanced Eye Care North Main
Terrible. Didn’t run any tests. Gave me a steroid that they never even sent over to my pharmacy. Didn’t see the dr I specifically requested. Come to find out thank God I didn’t take it because the issue that I later found out that I have with my I could’ve gotten worse from the steroid and caused blindness. Thanks for nothing.
I could not be more pleased with Dr. Doyle, a detailed and excellent healthcare provider.Administration area has greatly improved.
My husband and I have been patients here for YEARS but this was our first visit during the pandemic. They have done an excellent job trying to be sure we are all safe with many procedures in place. Sanitizing before and after each procedure. Our exams with the tech notions were thorough, as always, and our exam with Dr. Carl Corrow is always the best with him keeping in mind many of our other health issues that effect our eyes. Our whole extended family goes here and we’d highly recommend!!
Id be very careful giving these people your information. dont be surprised if you have unexpected charges on your card or on your credit that you were never told or warned about at all.
Awesome. They are great
The office is always so well run with great, friendly people taking care of me every step of the way.
Everything went well until time to pick my glasses, then found out they did not take my insurance for glasses and frames!
Very professional, definitely going to be doing future business with them. DrJay Cox, is a great doctor.
Friendly, quick and comprehensive. Would recommend
This place is a fraud beware! I was in a motor vehicle accident and went for a visit because my doctor was booked. On arrival they had me waiting over an hour. When seen the doctor I told the Doctor I was their due to an accident which gave me blurry vision. I paid for glasses that was $350 out of pocket and they said it would be ready in two weeks. After two weeks and a day I called. Would you believe they told me they did not carry the glasses and did not even bother to call. They told me to pick another pair but at this point I wanted my money back. I then was told I would have to come back in 24hrs so one of the owners could write a check. I came back for the check and thought I was done with them... nope I received a bill for contacts! My reaction was this place is a fraudulent! I called back and they first told me I came in for contacts and I told them they better play back their videos. They called me back and told me I was all set. Moving forward four months later I need my documentation for my accident, can you believe they said I went in for an allergy? Oh my, the african American tech said less than one word to me and said she remembered having a conversation with me. Hunny you said less than one word. The doctor one of the brothers was in and out and he can not even rememberwhat we spoke about. I work close with a particular department definitely going to see what I can do to get them looked into. I will be reporting them to all departments and associations they are connected with. I will also be reporting them to my lawyer and see if the news would like to hear about this I think its worth a try and listen. Zero stars if possible.
These people can’t even figure out who their sending prescriptions to called my phone about my “father’s prescription” when he doesn’t even use eyeglasses or has ever been to an eye doctor. The front desk staff are lazy had me on hold for 15 min I hung up and called back and they put me right to hold. Seems very scam likely to me
I always get good care here from Dr. Matthew Doyle. The assistants and office staff are great, too and appointments are fairly readily available/easy to reschedule when needed. Have been going to this office for 20 years!
This place actually sent me a bill for $100 dollars because i couldnt make my last two appointments. they do not tell you in anyway that there is some type of fee for missed appointments. because of covid you have to make an appointment a month in advance at least, which of course raises the chances of people not being able to make it, you dont know what the weather will be or if you will be sick in a month. scammers! & rude staff.
The appointment went well. Very streamlined with Covid-19 precautions in place. Dr. Doyle is my eye doctor and he was thorough and pleasant as he always is. The staff were very helpful as well. I would recommend Advanced Eye Care.
I had a slight problem with the silicon plugs Dr. C. put in yesterday so I called back and he took me right back in, adjusted the plug and I went happily on my way. Great eye care!
I would leave 0 stars if I could!! this was my first time going to this eye doctor today and my appntment was at 10:15. i arrived at 10:10 and you must call when you arrive. the woman answered and didn’t even let me speak she put me on hold immediately. 7 minutes goes bye i am still on hold. i go to the door and a girl finally checks me in, gets my info prescreens me for covid questions and then she sends me back to my car to wait. 10:34 i call them and they tell me to still wait. 10:50 no answer on the phone, 10:52 no answer. 10:53 finally someone answers the phone and she said STILL to wait because a room isn’t available for me. finally 11am i call back and cancel the appointment. i’m sorry but covid is not an acceptable excuse to make someone wait 45 minutes in the car for an appointment. i had to get a babysitter and it was a big waste of time. this was a terrible first impression and i will not be returning.
Both the doctor and staff here act like a used car salesman. all they care about is how much they can up your bill or frames or contacts by. greedy people, do not trust them.
I brought my mom in for her yearly check up, witch i figured would be 30-45 minutes tops but i was WRONG. Once we got in the girls at the desk did theyre job and got us set up. the issues i have are with the Ladies who work with the doctors. I would say 90 % of them on are theyre phone or flirting with each other. Im aware this place is LBGT friendly but come on. my mother was so uncomfortable. One of the girls who is taller then the rest was being way to friendly, not only my mother but other employees. VERY unprofessional and i could over hear the girls talking about the at home issues. One girl was openly talking about her boyfriend and how, she is cheating on him with one of the girls at work.
I was very impressed with their set up for COVID. Efficient and professional and I felt very safe. Everyone did a wonderful job! I am very happy with my care and always able to help me when I need it. Thank you!
Poor customer service/receptionist. I understand if there is a mix up with appointment scheduling but the receptionist could be more professional and empathetic about the mistake.
Very courteous, thorough and professional.
I have been a patient here for more than 10 years and I love it! Nice, friendly staff and doctors!
The receptionist is the rudest person i have ever encountered in the medical field or any office. probably only picks up phones, and cant even do that right.
Ive been a patient at Advanced Eye Care dating back to Dr. David Vito. The transition to Dr. Matthew Doyle was a perfect fit. The staff is always pleasant, efficient and concerned. Paul in the Optical Shop is the absolute best. I recommend Advanced Eye Care and give it an A+.
Love the team, very nice, incredibly informative
Staff is always nice, helpful and friendly. Never have to wait more that 15 minuets for my appointment.
I highly recommend them they were so nice to me and attentive best eye doctor I’ve ever been to my whole life and they finally got my prescription correct I never been able to see so clear with any other pair of glasses I’ve ever owned very very pleased
Dr. Carrow is very thorough and communicative. I feel treated with the latest technology and the highest care.
First visit post shutdown....quick and easy! Everyone just as friendly except I was asked to wear a cloth mask to look at glasses....so I left instead. I wear a face shield. I can get glasses elsewhere. That wasn’t acceptable however it was at my internist’s office.I’ve been to several doctors there and they have all been excellent! All friendly and take the time to answer questions. They got me in for an emergency appointment very easily! I DO recommend Advanced Eye Care Associates to my co- workers, friends and family.
Clinicians and staff are amazing! Even during a pandemic!!! Definitely recommend!!!
Great customer service. Always efficient and couteous. During these times of uncertainty, a kind voice and respectful demeanor, goes a long way & is greatly appreciated!
I have been going to Advanced Eye Care for many years now. I love Dr. Doyle as I can trust him to be thorough, professional, and courteous. Generally on time as well. They are willing to help and offer a solution should any issue arise. Im very happy with this practice!
Everybody was friendly and knowledgeable. Ive never felt so satisfied after an eye exam! Dr. Cox answered all of my questions and I left feeling like my next pair of glasses were actually going to help me see better :)
While I consider Dr. Doyle to be extremely professional and very thorough, I have found that often times he is running late and I end up waiting impatiently in the exam room for long periods of time...today it was 45 minutes! I understand that things happen and emergency situations may arise but this has happened on more than one occasion...Just wish the office wouldn’t try to squeeze in so many patients in one day!
I have had the best eye care here! Recently, I was seen for an urgent visit, and was told to come right in. Yes, I did wait, but Remember, I was not originally a scheduled patient for this day, so I expected to wait, I was really appreciative and so grateful that they were able to accommodate me so quickly. This is a very busy office, but when being seen, these doctors take their time with you, they explain everything. The front office staff has always been very friendly, Tanya, Michelle and all of the front desk staff are very nice. I have never had a bad experience here. This is a top notch office. I would not jeopardize my eyes with anyone else. Thank you again, to all the docs and staff here. I appreciate you all !!!
Wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. Everyone who Ive ever met there has been extremely friendly, professional, and most importantly, one hundred percent competent in their jobs. Highly recommended. I believe my doctors name from today was Dr. Martinez and he was great. Definitely keeping him! (Though I have seen a few other docs there as well and they were all great)
Dr Doyle is wonderful. The assistants that do the eye scans are great. But the front desk staff leave a lot to be desired. Never friendly, it seems more like patients are pests. Theyre not openly hostile, but they damn sure are rude.
Great visit! Taken in on time, assistant was fast and through along with the doc. Great selection of frames. Highly recommend if your looking for a new optometrist- you’ve found it!!
Awful, apathetic staff. Discoordinated, disorganized & disconnected. I blame the doctors. It’s their practice & they’re directly responsible for the way they run their company & who they hire to man their front desk. Their weekend hours are useless when they can’t accommodate same day requests.
My experience with Advanced Eye Care was nothing but professional. I went in for my annual check up. Alex was super nice and very personable. She was also very detailed and prepared me for the eye tests I was going to go through. Dr. John was kind and gave me the most thorough eye exam and listened to the issues I had with my contacts. I was very impressed with the staff and service this office provides. I also liked the fact they have an optic shop with so many frames to choose from. From now on this will be my one- stop-shop for all my eye care needs. And just found out they are open on Saturday’s too.I’m so confident with their work I made an appointment for my kids. It’s so nice to know my eyes are in good hands. Thank you!
Overall very professional. Got into the office pretty quickly. I waited between 5-to-10 minutes after checking in at the receptionist’s desk. My tests done rapidly, but with proper attention. Doctor and their assistant spent time getting to know you and to answer your questions. Only thing I would suggest need improvement is friendliness of the front desk staff.
I had a great experience until checking out.I asked for a prescription and Sally was upset that I had asked for it and complained to me how none of the doctors provide a prescription, when I got the prescription it was illegible. I told Sally if I couldn’t read the numbers how was the person who fills the prescription. Her reply was they can just call us.Why should I have to deal with that if I don’t have to? This girl made a pleasant office visit to an unpleasant one. This girl is a cancer on an office staff who were pleasant and efficient.
Excellent staff, fun efficient and professional!
Wonderful staff, awesome doctors, friendly and attentive. Honestly, wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I love dr Doyle so fun and loving treats me and kids like family !!
Dr Doyle is the only one I see there because he is the best. They overbook him which makes him late for his patients and the front desk help is completely rude. I was the ONLY one in line and I had to wait over 10 minutes for one of them to stop their conversation and check me in. Then a dog came in and I was ignored. Front desk needs new staffing
Friendly staff, took appropriate precautions, kept meticulous notes in my file so they would remember all the details of my needs, had me in and out in 30 minutes.
Friendly staff, all COVID-19 precautions in place.
I’ve been coming here for as long as i can remember and i’m very upset that I have to switch doct because of the way they handled my apt today. I had an appointment last month that I needed to reschedule because I didn’t feel good that morning not once was there ever a mention of there being a $50 no-show fee even though I didn’t no show i called 5 hours ahead of time it’s a pandemic you would think they wouldn’t want me to be in the office if I didn’t feel good in case i had covid. The entire point of the apt was to get an updated prescription so I can order sunglasses through them which i planned to pay a good chunk of money for. I showed up for my apt today called to check in and was told if i didn’t pay i wouldnt be seen. I explained all of this and they refused to see me unless I paid the $50 so they’d rather lose out on a $400 purchase to get a $50 fee?! i’m beside my self that Dr. Doyle would refuse to see me unless i paid even knowing i was about to spend a lot of money there. Regardless of that there is a pandemic going on i work at a doct office and if a patient doesn’t feel good i would want them to stay home and would never charge them for it! completely unacceptable!
I have been going to this office for a few years nowand I think Dr John Corrow is very nice and does athorough examination !
Dr. Cox is awesome! The service I received in the optical shop was also very good. Attentive and honest!
Very quick and efficient service. Good prices. Ive been coming here for 2 years now, and have had a great experience.
This is the most caring group of doctors and staff around. I have been going here for years. They take excellent care of me. I trust them completely. Highly recommend.
I Just moved to the Providence area and have been searching for a quality eye doctor. I researched Numerous places and Advanced Eye Care stood out among others as far as experience and better reviews. I gave them a try and not only did they meet the expectations they went above them. They were very efficient and thorough. Doctor Boyle was professional, very knowledgeable and really took the time to make sure I comprehended and understood everything. Im happy to say he will be my new eye doctor and this is where I will be going from now on.
Very good exam and many excellent suggestions. They have a section with moderately priced frames, and my glass were ready quickly - even during a pandemic!
Had an eye emergency. They saw me right away. Great experiences. Took the time to answer all my questions. Would definitely recommend this place.
Only had to wait in car for a few min. Everyone was very nice and appointment was quick
2021: I just read another review that gave the office a one. I didnt know that we couldnt go inside either until I opened the front door and it said it so there was no excuse to go past the rope that was there the people at the front desk are very professional possibly the woman was looking out for her co-workers with this person coming in and walking past the rope with the big sign that said to call to check in.2021: This is my second year with this office and besides the fact that the dr had to explain something to me in a way that I could understand, which I loved, they are covid ready! This office is on top of everything with disinfecting and cleaning2020: The doctor I saw was very nice and explained to me that my prescription changed. The front office staff was very nice also
Dr. Doyle is very nice. Very thorough. He also takes the time to explain everything to you. Paul in the glasses area is also very nice and helpful.
Ive been getting my vision checked here since I was a child and the service has been great and friendly.
Received some of the worst service ever. I am a pilot and politely asked to skip a pupil dilation test which requires use of dilating drops to temporarily make your pupils larger. I had a flight in an hour and know that it can influence my eye sight. In return, this African American nurse who didnt even perform the exam started yelling at me and schooling me. She was insisting, and I told her I cannot do it because it will endanger me and my passengers. Besides my eyesight is good. She didnt care about my safety in order to squeeze some money out of my insurance. I have a PhD and know that this test in NOT required, especially if my eyesight is good. They care about money more than your safety. I asked my medical records and will take my business elsewhere.
Doctor Doyle is outstanding. Everyone in the office is all friendly. If you are Deaf and use ASL, ask for Paul in the eyeglasses department. He knows sign language and is awesome!! MB
This place used to be 5star! When they give me my glasses I will never return. Im sure they will lose alot of business. My last visit was so frustrating and the unprofessionalism is at an all time high. I spoke to serval persons in line they were all extremely irritated. They say they are taking steps to eliminate exposure to COVID-19 but the method they are using is not affective, instead they use this crisis as an excuse to be careless with your needs.
