I had a COVID booster shot appointment for 5:20 today. I showed up and the pharmacy was shuttered with photocopied signs that it was temporarily closed. No advance communication by phone or email. The pharmacist rudely just said they would be open at 9am the next day. A steady line of people similarly affected started streaming in. Awful service.

Incredibly poor management. A line of seven people and no one behind the cash register because the manager is doing something important and the cashier also has to handle the federal express station.

Only reason Im giving 1 star is because yoi cant give a 0 star rating Im! Im in here almost everyday and they have the worst customer service, the one boy cashier, is constantly on his phone and hes always Discourteous, today I stood there for exactly 30 seconds waiting to hand him my money while he was just on his phone, it wasnt until I interrupted him that he actually took my money! Idk who trains these people but when I worked retail just 2 years ago we werent allowed on our phones in front of the customers!

The pharmacy recently changed the name from Rite Aid to Walgreens and it became a nightmare! They fill prescriptions without asking whether you had an insurance or not. I was the customer of the pharmacy for years and they told me me that they dont have my insurance information, and they just charged me $47 for the generic drug which should be $2 copay. I was in rush and realized that after I paid. They didnt even mention that the insurance information wasnt applied.Three phone calls and two in person visits (during the Covid-19 pandemic) and I am not yet recovered my money they stole from me.Needless to say that I will never use this pharmacy again.

Probably the worst pharmacy that you can imagine. Incompetent staff who dont understand you, and dont know what they are doing either. Even that they told you that they have made notes, and everything is done, you cannot count on them. You have to call multiple times to confirm. Once I wanted delivery other than pickup, and the staff told me that everything is set. I ask a few times and she confirmed that she needs nothing else form me. Then I asked do you have my payment info?, and she said yes, I need that. And still, when the prescription come in, it is a pickup, not mail delivery. I have to call again to correct. That is the level of confidence you have on them. Lol.

There’s an obvious lack of management @ this location, been using this location since it was rite-aid which was very good, since the takeover it’s been down hill! I’m on hold for 5 min already as I’m writing this. I’m an extremely slow typer, now 7 min, I’m going to have to go down there & wait on a 20 minute line to get the balence of my refill that should have been ready a few days ago! I’m not even sure they have it, upper management should be paying attention to these reviews before they shut down!

Walgreens has ruined the best pharmacy. For over a month their phone systems have been down in the pharmacy, so you have to walk in and tell them about your prescription and then go pick it up a second time. Completely insufficient. They don’t even alert you if your prescription is ready so you have to make a blind trip just to find that out

The pharmacy here is awful! For dropping off a Rx, I had to stand in line for over 10 mins. Only one person was working the registers. Its a longer drive, but the CVS in Lawrenceville is much better (and has a drive thru).

Total disgrace that in this time of emergency, Walgreens on North Harrison Street, Princeton, NJ, does not have pharmacy/prescription delivery. If I could post a zero I would. Shame on this company for destroying what was once a reputable and reliable community asset, Rite Aid. This is a disgrace to have no prescription/ pharmacy delivery available. Walgreens in Princeton is putting the elderly and those who are susceptible at risk!

Since Walgreens has taken over this location the service at the pharmacy has deteriorated significantly. I have had numerous problems with standard refills that after 4 attempts MAY be resolved. The line at the pharmacy is always long and the wait time unacceptable. Today it was 12 deep and no less than 3 people left frustrated.

Since it was converted to a Walgreens pharmacy prescription refills have been messed up almost every time - they just arent filled and then once I realize, it takes several calls to sort out and then the refill date gets pushed back to a month from when they actually fill the prescription, which means you have fewer buffer pills each time. The store also has many lights that have been flickering for months - the worst is the one directly above the waiting line for the pharmacy, which is incredibly slow; nothing is done despite repeated requests to fix them as they are migraine-inducing.Update: After I transferred my prescriptions to Wegmans *and they were filled at Wegmans last month*, Walgreens filled one of my prescriptions and didnt even notify me! Now it cant be filled at Wegmans because insurance wont pay again. Apparently it was shipped to my old address, but it wasnt there when I checked the mail. They promised to immediately call the insurance company, to get an override so I can get my medicine before I run out, to call Wegmans and sort things out with the transfer, and to reimburse me for the cost of the medication I never received; but after a few days when I checked, Walgreens hadnt done ANY of these. I had to spend another many hours of calling all places involved and once again the date for when I can get a refill has been permanently pushed back - by almost 2 weeks on just this occasion.I wish I could rate negative stars this is so far beyond terrible and has permanently messed up my prescription; I now have so few pills left that further issues or needing a refill during a trip will mean that I will run out of the medication.

Worst possible pharmacy. Meds never in stock. Waiting for them to be ordered in takes days. Walgreens must be looking for an excuse to close this location. No one needs an undependable pharmacy. The merger between Walgreens and Riteaid should never have been approved. Need a reliable pharmacy? Go to Wegmans.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute nightmare!!! The store was closed when I went to try to pick up my prescription yesterday. I was forced to drive over because nobody would pick up the phone. Even though the hours stated the pharmacy was open until 9 PM. They apparently closed at 3 PM with zero notice?! Have tried calling all morning and nobody will pick up. Got someone for 2 second and they put me back on hold, no apology, nothing. I will be getting all my scripts from CVS now, not a chance Im giving Walgreens my business. They completely mismanaged this transition. Needless to say, STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION!!!

Rite Aid is showing itself to be the most forward thinking pharmacy I know of. Recently I found the chain offers to come to small businesses to administer flu shots--how much more convenient can it be to get employees immunized. We did it in our CA office and it worked great! Now theyre the only pharmacy Im aware of that is hosting representatives to answer questions and help people enroll in the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Hearing about the glitches people are encountering trying to get this info via the phone, how much easier this must be!Way to go Rite Aid!

This is a mediocre pharmacy. I only go because its the closest to where I currently lived. Its never a quick trip. I always have to wait on line for a long time even if there arent a lot of people. I just want my pharmacy visit to be under 15 minutes when Im picking up a routine Rx.

It was very nice being in this store. I found a health insurance agent in this store. She has scheduled hours in this store so you can take advantage of it.

This store has a rep who can help you with information about the affordable care act (Obamacare) and the new health insurance marketplace. You do not have to pay anything to get this help so go for it! I know Joanne is doing research to help people get the information they need about the new health insurance exchange.

I have been shorted medication for my son twice! My son got the liquid suspension medication for strep. First time I ran out with 3 days left, I thought it was a fluke, now its happened again. I still have 2 and a half days left of his 10 days! I could see being short one dose- but each time Im short 5 doses!! And each time I run out; I have to pay for the Rx all over AGAIN!! The pharmacist blames me and my plastic dosing cup - well I tested it with Rite Aids using water and they measure the same. Ill never get a liquid suspension medication here again. I seem to have no luck with pharmacies. They are either incompetent or you have to wait hours to get your Rx filled.

Store itself closes at 10 pm and i walked in at 9:45 to grab something to snack on. The manager told me that his alarm system wasnt working so unless I knew exactly what I wanted I had to leave. That is ridiculous. There are plenty of mom and pop stores that have gotten by for decades without an alarm system and I get kicked out despite the fact that there were two employees to keep an eye on me. Miserable service. Either close the store or let people decide what they want.

There have been many questions about the Affordable Care Act ( ACA) also known as Obamacare . Questions such as “What is the health insurance marketplace?” or ” Can I receive free healthcare?” Have been topics of discussion with customers I have met in the store. As part of the Rite Aid Free Counseling Program is offering to their customers, I am glad to meet customers to answer questions and concerns regarding the health insurance exchange and to assist in selecting the best options for their health insurance needs.
