Godfrey and his team are fantastic. I always have a great haircut. Godfrey is such an amazing artist even with my simple style. The salon is a beautiful and welcoming space for everyone who enters!I had my first pandemic conditions haircut where they were clear and transparent, screening for COVID ahead of the visit and at time of arrival. Event during these time they made it a very enjoyable experience.

This salon is top of the line. Zach has done wonders for my hair, and Godfrey himself is so welcoming and gracious. The space is beautiful--I want to live there. After visiting this past weekend, I keep looking at my hair and thinking, Wow. The color and cut are so vibrant and flattering. And my daughter loved her haircut with Andzelika. Thank you to this world-class team!!

Clear instructions and screening for COVID ahead of appointment, at time of arrival and throughout appointment including: self screen for symptoms, temperature screening, masks, gloves, and contactless payment. They are taking really important precautions but still made it an enjoyable experience and a great cut. Thank you!

Although Godfrey is a hairstylist to the stars, he has no pretension and will treat you and make you feel like YOU are a star! I don’t know which is better, the great haircuts or the relaxing shampoo.

Zach is the BEST there ever will be. He is not only a professional but has become a dear friend. He understands ethnic hair. The shampoo massage chair in the salon is something to look forward to. I dread going to other salons now due to their uncomfortable shampoo chairs. I look and feel like a million bucks when I come out of the salon.

Zach is the best! He’s been doing my hair for years for just about 10 years, as I travelled with him from salon to salon. The experience this salon offers though is just incredible! Such a clean, relaxing place...I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

Zach duplicated exactly what I wanted and did such a great job!! He is just excellent with color selection/balayage and did such a perfect job cutting my hair so that it better shaped my face.The staff are extremely personable, genuinely caring and friendly, so this was a very different experience than many salons I have been in around the world.I’m very discerning, I travel a lot so it is a challenge to find a great place with great and very real and kind people.I now know I need to book another trip to Princeton in a couple of months to get my hair done with Zach again. Thanks to Godfrey and Zach for making this a great experience.

This was my first visit to the GF Salon and it was quite an experience! You are greeted as soon as you walk in and offered refreshments. They will take your purse if your willing to part with it. Lol! Godfrey really listened during my consultation to issues of why I wanted a new hairstylist and he explained how he could correct things with my hair and even got me to switch from wearing my normal everyday style. Since, my appt was in the evening I was a bit bummed I didnt have anywhere to go to show how FABULOUS he made me look but we took pics and I made up some errands to run just to be in 2 stores that evening, Lol! So many compliments! The next days my coworkers loved it and 2 of them have already booked appts already to see him. I have found my new hairstylist or rather hair artist!

Godfrey and his team have been doing my hair for almost 12 years and are the absolute best. I have dyed my hair every color, had a relaxer, gotten extensions, you name it! They do everything and always make sure your hair is healthy!

I have no idea where to start..I wouldnt trust anyone with my hair but Zachary.....from my wedding to styling to perfection. My experience coming to this salon was mind blowingly impressive. I had the honor to be styled, colored, and cut by Zachary Mosco. He was so attentive to my needs, super hospitable (even gave me some brownies along side my wine!) And he had such a delightful personality, along side the talent it took for him to give me exactly what I wanted, plus some. The salon has a great atmosphere, and energy. In addition: I admired his creativity with hair, so eccentric and out of the box with his vision, and his execution! If there is any hair stylist you may need in in NJ, Zachary is your guy!!!! Best hairstylist/colorist in Princeton! Godfrey has a small boutique in Princeton and frequently travels to NYC to do all sorts of celebrity events, fashion shows and charity events. Perfectly located in the heart of Princeton.

First, I booked an appointment for a simple hair color and the salon cancelled my appointment at 10pm the night before. Then, I was told I could come back for a complimentary service a week later. So, I went back and they were trying to charge me $500 to do a service I didn’t even want. When I asked for just the color, he refused to do my hair at all and would only do it if I paid for the complete color correction which I didn’t even want! On top of it, he was extremely rude and didn’t care what I wanted at all. Don’t go here! All they want is your money and don’t care about your time!

Godfrey gave me my first haircut in over ten years. I came in with hair past my shoulders, and no idea what I wanted my look to be. He managed to take my vague, indecisive thoughts and turn them into what exactly what I wanted. Nice guy, and great salon!

Probably the best haircut/color I have ever had.

I have to commend Godfrey Fitzgerald for taking full responsibility for a bad service encounter. I sent Godfrey an email after the encounter. He mailed back and asked for an opportunity to speak with me. He called with his business partner Sintelle. I was impressed with how they handled the situation. They emphatically acknowledged my situation and said that should not have happened. They then had the employee call to apologize for her conduct; I dont think she should be in the service business but nonetheless I accepted the apology. In sum, I think Godfrey and especially Sintelle could not have handled the situation better. Therefore Im taking down my prior complaint. I would give Godfrey and Sintelle 5 stars for the service recovery.
