Very happy with my experience at Dutchess Kia. I called a few weeks in advance to inquire about purchasing a car on a specific date. They were the only dealership who took the initiative to call me back and schedule an appointment. Santos was my salesman and made the entire experience stress free and even fun. Called prior to test drive a Kia Telluride said come in showed up 30 minutes later. told me who said that that they short supply didnt want to put more miles on used Telluride they had there, said had 12 people who want this car you can test drive it when you put $500 down and you own it when order come in, said to me people think Kia are cheap but cost more then you think I said I know what they cost Im good with that, left had my heart set on that car would of 100 % brought but bad service, so took my money to Volvo dealer down road and brought a more expensive car got to test drive car I wanted and way better service.

I came in today to inquire about Kia Sorento. Kimberly Roeber the manager was short and dismissive, not sure if she was having an off day or just needs a refresher in people skills. Its one things if a place is busy, but at that moment I was the only customer there. I really had my heart set on that car, but that small axchage was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I did speak to Maria who was much more informative.

This company is so incompetent that I spent over an hour on the phone listening to the dial tone, when all I am trying to do is bring my car in to get inspected. I am not sure who is working the phone at this company but they need to adjust their staffing. SAD

I’ve been in the market for a Kia Seltos and checking all the Kia dealerships online for weeks. I finally found what I was looking for at Dutchess Kia and unbeknownst to me the limited quantities of the Seltos go as soon as they come in. Fortunately I had the pleasure of starting my contact via email with Andrea who was trying to assist me with getting the car I wanted, but as I stated before, they go just as fast as they get them. After speaking with her manager, I was contacted via text by the salesman Chris who continued to work with me to get the specific color and trim I wanted. I work on the phones all day, so I texted with Chris throughout the day until I was able to take my breaks so I can actually speak with him. Putting the deposit on Monday, test drive it and Tuesday and on Wednesday I was able to leave the dealership with my car with EXACTLY what wanted. Not the normal way for me to purchase a vehicle but very happy that they went through the avenues to accommodate me to make it happen!

He was patient and I never felt pushed or pressured. He kept me posted each week to let me know the status of my vehicle order. My vehicle arrived two weeks early and Chris made the entire experience a pleasant one.

Do not buy your car from Dutchess Kia. My family bought a used car in 2017 and at the time, we were informed that there was no record of car accidents. Recently, we were in the process of trading in our car and we found out that there were two car accidents that were reported under the previous owner. We filed a complaint about the lack of transparency and the financial loss we will be going through because of the two car accidents that we were unaware of. Our complaints were simply dismissed and the manager was unresponsive and showed a lack of interest in resolving this issue. If you intend to buy a used car from here, please double check to make sure that the information they are providing you are accurate and consistent across other dealership. Dutchess Kia uses a system called AutoCheck, which is less recognized than CarFax (where we found out the two car accidents). The evidence I provided to the manager was simply dismissed as unreliable while the system they use are just as unreliable based on my search. We are not only upset about being cheated to buy a used car with two accidents without being informed, but also the lack of responsibility and willingness to address consumers feedback, complaints, and concerns. The staffs were also very unfriendly, focusing on making you buy the car, but no customer care after the purchase has been made. Please reconsider if you plan to buy a car from Dutchess Kia.

After purchasing my Kia Sportage from Dutchess Kia (DK) in August 2019, I took it to DK for the cars first two warranty service appointments. When I picked up the car after the second appointment, I noticed that one of the tires was leaking air. The tire had been fine before I brought it in for service, so I took it back and politely pointed out the problem. They found that a nail had punctured the tires sidewall, and the service representative passive-aggressively accused me of puncturing the tire.When I told him it was extremely unlikely that I had caused the puncture--I hadnt driven anywhere in WEEKS (the COVID lockdown)--the service representative grudgingly offered for them to fix the tire free of charge. Fuming about the insult, while waiting for the tire to be fixed, I walked around the lot and found nails, screws, wires, bolts, and small shards of metal. I have no doubt that the the flat was caused on THEIR LOT.What most incensed me about this entire escapade was the fact that they didnt simply own up to causing the flat tire on my car. At one point I said to the representative, Are you calling me a liar? He equivocated, and at that point I resolved never to do business with them again. I decided that for my next appointment, I would take my Kia to their competitor, Healey Kia in Newburgh (and I did, and it was wonderful; see my review).Until I went to Healey Kia, I didnt realize how bad Dutchess Kia is. And so you wont think my 2-star rating of DK is solely based on getting a flat tire there, here are the other problems with DK:1. The lot and service entrances are poorly marked.2. Once in the lot, there is almost NO parking available.3. There are two buildings on the dealership lot, and its unclear which is which.4. Making a service appointment is complicated.5. No salesperson or service person ever clarified what service(s) is required by Kia corporate to satisfy the warranty requirements, or how much each service would cost.6. The lot, being right next to Route 9 southbound, is dirty and packed with cars.7. The service lounge is tiny, dark, and not adequately socially distanced.Sadly, Dutchess Kia has lost my service business for the life of my Kia Sportage; they could have had 10 years of service income from me, but they blew it. Fortunately for me, Healey Kia is all too ready and willing to take my business.I am grateful to Dutchess Kia for one thing though, and thats this: from now on, when I go to buy a car (especially a new car) from a dealership, before I sign Im going to look most closely at the dealerships service department. The fact is, we only deal with the sales office at car dealerships once; but you will end up dealing with the service departments potentially a few times a year for 5 or ten years.My experience with Healey Kia in Newburgh was so positive that I wish Id bought my Kia there instead of DK.

Once you get my dad talking about the Steelers hes sold before we start signing papers, lol. When I first met Chris I told him exactly what I wanted, Seltos with a sunroof. Then it was history. Due to inclement weather, I came back two days later and picked up my 2021 Kia Seltos EX in Neptune Blue. The car is everything I hoped for AND MORE! We had a great experience with Gabriel. We made an appointment online and he made it so easy to set up a test drive when we got there (no hoops to jump through), and told us the features between the various trims on the Seltos. He also got us numbers to review really easily, and everything was really clear. Hes a straight-shooter, very friendly, and obviously knowledgeable. We never felt pressured, which was really important to us to not have a salesperson just slam us with information without listening to us. The dealership is clearly taking COVID seriously, which as folks from the city, this was important to us. Everyone was wearing masks, keeping distance, and there was proper ventilation (we came mid Sept). We went to another dealership nearby that was not courteous at all, and the salesperson didnt know differences in the trim levels, and half the people were not wearing masks appropriately.This dealership set the bar high in the area, and while we didnt expect bend over backward service, they really did go above and beyond (confirming the appointment, being timely, communicating inventory and pricing, and just generally being kind to one another too - which wasnt the norm at the other place). Gabriel was probably the best salesperson we dealt with (out of about 6 people we met total) and we honestly wanted to buy the car because we wanted him to make a sale! We ultimately went with another vehicle line in general that they dont sell, but I would absolutely recommend them to everyone, and Gabriel for sure.

Came here a couple of times talked to Chris Jarrin sales consultant talk to him about getting a Jeep. He was very helpful, very welcoming was not trying to just get a sale. Overall had a great experience. Went in about a week ago to get pricing on a K5 GT Line and ended up walking out with it. I had went in a week prior to this for some general info about the car. Haddy came out, greeted me and was very informative with any questions I had. I came back for pricing and get a value in my trade in. Haddy didn’t play the typical games other salesmen will do, he was straight forward with what they could do and why. He also didn’t make me feel pressured into buying the car. Great customer service is why I bought 2 consecutive new cars from Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge Kia.

A total nightmare! Brought my daughter’s 2013 Kia Sorrento in this past summer for a recall on the motor. A new motor was installed in a timely fashion. While the vehicle was there, I asked if they could fix the air conditioning, which had stopped working. I agreed that it was no longer under warranty, and that I would pay for the repair, then the fun started. They kept the car for 2 mos, no loaner car because my daughter is only 18. They claimed that they had tested the entire system, and couldn’t find anything wrong, but the a/c still wouldn’t work. Wait, what??? Everything is fine but it won’t work?? So I got corporate Kia involved, and after getting the runaround from both, I finally was contacted by a Kia consumer affairs regional mgr, who said the case had been closed out by Dutchess Kia, and that they were not asking for any additional help from the corporate level. Nice of them right? So classes were about to begin, and my daughter needed her car back, so I reluctantly picked up the car, a/c still not working. Upon driving the car, my daughter found that the uvo radio wasn’t operating, including the backup camera and hands free phone. Called and left a msg, explaining what the problem was and said I would check the fuse and get back to them. The next day, the uvo system began working again. A few days later the oil pressure light came on, so we brought the car back and the new motor they had installed was found to be defective. It took another week or two, but they installed another new motor. They called and said that the car was ready, but that the uvo system had stopped working again, and that they checked the whole system and couldn’t find anything wrong, but the uvo system will not work and they can’t fix it. I picked up the car, and I was extremely upset at this point, but before taking further action, I decided to google the problem and see what I could find. It literally took me 5 minutes to find the answer and another 5 minutes to get the uvo system up and running again. This should tell you all you need to know about the quality of techs they have working at this dealership. I’ve owned a business in Dutchess cty. For 27 yrs., and I’m going to make a point to tell everyone about this experience. I’ll never go there for anything ever again, and I will do exactly the opposite of recommending such a poor quality business.

I dont usually write reviews, but i have to say that I had a great experience dealing with my salesman Joe Zambelli. He did a really great job helping me find my Kia Forte and was very knowledgeable! i would highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used car to go see him!

We went into Dutchess Kia just looking because our lease was up in March. We were greeted by Christopher Jarrin Who is a professional young enthusiastic non-pushy salesman he captured our attention with his personality. I knew that I wanted a 2020 Kia Soul l but I didn’t know which model Christopher gave us the keys to several models and allowed us to test drive them. He gave us all the information that we needed on each one of them was very patient with us and needless to say within a couple of hours we had purchased a new Kia soul he made our experience pleasant. He was very helpful when I had any questions gave me his cell phone number to call him at any time which I did a few times for help. I love my experience with him and recommend if you’re looking for a vehicle go see Christopher.

This is my 3rd dealing with Dutchess Kia and our salesperson Christopher did not disappoint. We were able to find a vehicle that worked for us with ease. This dealership puts customers first. I highly recommend Dutchess Kia. Our former salesperson wasnt there but Chris took great care of us. We are now proud owners of a 2020 Soul.

Just try to get anyone to answer the phone. I have tried numerous times and no one ever picks up. I will get my Kia serviced at another dealership

My opinion about dutchess Kia has changed thanks to Chris! 2 1/2 years ago I went to dutchess Kia to get a new leased Kia (I previously lived in westchester) and the sales person who is no longer there that helped me was beyond pushy & arrogant but I needed a car so after hours of going back and fourth I finally got a good deal and left saying I would never use that car sales guy again.But just the other day I stepped foot in dutchess Kia again & Chris instantly turned my previous bad taste around! He was beyond helpful and knew exactly what I wanted, I was so indecisive but he could tell what I liked. This car was not only because I needed a new lease but a gift to myself on my weight loss journey. Chris made me feel not like a customer but a friend & we talked about everything and anything and he worked to get me a good deal to make sure I was happy. He also handled EVERYTHING for me after hours to get it done so the next day I was ready to drive off. I hope he is there next time I lease another vehicle! I will be sending all my recommendations to him! & also a huge thanks to the business manager, I can’t remember his name, you were very kind & easy to talk to!

We drove 80 miles to Dutchess Kia to purchase a car that was in their inventory. Every mile was more than worth it. We set up the transaction the preceding 2 weeks so that on arrival, we could pay and go. All it took was about 2 hours to complete everything, once we were there. 1 visit. Bunny and Kay, aces. I brought in a car to get an oil change and tire rotation. Ted in service department was professional and friendly. The work was done fast and there were no hidden costs. Honestly, it was the best experience Ive ever had at a car dealership.

This was my first time at this dealership I went to 7 dealerships in 2 weeks before going to Dutchess Kia. And remember I’m from out of state! Anthony Scott and Brian (manager) (I’m sorry that I don’t have Brian’s last name) were absolutely the best! They worked with me for a few hours to make the sale! Even George from the finance department went out of his way to explain certain warranties. That in itself can be scary at other dealerships but not at Dutchess. Anthony and Brian went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. I love my 2019 Laramie! I am already going back to make a 2nd purchase in the spring for my wife for a Kia sport. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a great customer experience!

We recently bought our first Kia. I worked with Jody from the get go and he was great. I hate dealerships and car salesman. I informed him of this right upfront and he did not disappoint. I told him exactly what I wanted, the price range I wanted to be in, and he worked it out perfect, all while being a great negotiator and giving a few extras to seal the deal. I went in knowing that I was underwater in my Nissan, not expected them to be able to work the numbers because of the situation. Jodie was very upfront with me and the whole team was helpful in getting all of my must haves in a vehicle while respecting my budget. I had Anthony as my sales rep and he was AWESOME. I hate pressure and thats why I dread car shopping, but he was so chill. He answered my questions and helped make the deal I wanted happen. Weve never owned a Kia before and now I cant image not buying my next car there as well.

I drove up to this Kia dealership from Westchester County, because they had a bigger selection of colors in the Forte. My sales professional was Monica Colon. She was fully knowledgeable about the vehicles, as I test drove a number of cars, and was flexible on different price points. The transaction process was quick and efficient, which made it a positive experience. So I highly recommend her. I would also like to thank Kelly in the office, for streamlining the documents. Before I came here, I did some research and test drove cars from different companies and checked out their warranties, and the Forte is better than all of them in this category. I was surprised by this. So, I encourage everyone out there, do your own homework.

Being I was new at leasing I had numerous questions and concerns. The primary salesperson was Anthony Scott. Anthony did an excellent job of answering my questions and addressing my concerns. He conducted himself very professionally and at no time did I feel pressured into making a purchase. I feel a fair agreement was reached regarding the terms of the lease. Anthony was very understanding and demonstrated much patience when I made a last minute change to the vehicle I wanted. I was impressed with how quickly Dutchess Kia located the exact vehicle I wanted and had it ready for pickup. The whole process from my initial inquiry to vehicle pickup was easy and pleasant. Im hopeful and confident that my future experience with the service department will be as positive as my purchase. I would like to note that Jody Dyckman was very helpful when on a day he had to fill in for Anthony.

Sales woman Stacy is the best, she was very pleasant and professional. She is very knowledgeable about the cars/trucks that she sells. She made sure that i got the truck that i wanted. I will buy from Dutchess cars again.

I am having issues with my Kia car. My husband and I also have a Lexus. Whenever there is an issue with our Lexus, the dealership ALWAYS gives us a rental FOR FREE if the issue deals with our warranty. This company CHARGES $35 a DAY!!! Seriously? MY CAR IS BRAND NEW! Its a 2019 and has had to be back at the shop 4X in a year. I do not recommend this dealership if they choose to nickle and dime their potential clients. Also, overall, I do not recommend a Kia as there tends to be many issues and problems.

My husband and I just bought a Jeep Wrangler JL 2 door at Dutchess Dodge and we could not be happier! Gabriel Lawson was our salesman and he took very good care to show us all of the features of the Jeep. Gabriel patiently explained and demonstrated how the soft top works and how to engage 4 wheel drive. He also showed us fun additions to the Jeep which makes it unique. Where to begin... First and foremost- excellent service from manager Kim and salesperson Gabriel! While it was expectantly busy on a Saturday, Gabriel was able to juggle 2 other customers in addition to my family all while making us feel as if we were the priority. Though if Im truly honest, the car sold itself. They were able to set me up with 2 test drives: The Sorento and the Telluride-- We took the Telluride, it is an outstanding vehicle.While Gabriel finalized things with another customer, the manager Kim was very attentive, knowledgeable and diligent in explaining all of my purchase/finance options. At the end of the day if you dont leave with the car you want, you didnt want a car! Ha! Rethink Kia, I never thought Id drive one but theyve really stepped their game up and Gabriel and Kim were able to take care of my family and I- Highly recommended!!!
