Went in around 9pm at night on a Wednesday and I went to show the guy working the front my ID and he looked at it for a second and said he “doesn’t care” I asked him if he had a certain item in stock and he said no in such a rude way. Still going here but probably when the nicer employees work that shift.

I have been into this store several times during the last few months and had always received if not exceptional service at least adequate enough to prevent irritation or worse. After my experience tonight, however, i will not be returning. I fully understand the importance of proper age verification, as I spent a short stint as the doorman at a bar when I was younger. . . however, despite my hopes that it is true, theres no question if, at 40, Im underage, and have not been carded upon entry during any of my previous visits, nor have i seen any employee do so unless the customers age was viably suspect. Tonight, however, I felt as if I was singled out for attempted humiliation, since not only did the male clerk call out to ask for my ID loud enough to attract the attention of everyone in the store, but then requested my name as if he was questioning if the ID was mine. I would like to point out that I am MtF transgender but have not had my legal name changed yet. And then less than 5 minutes later when i went to pay he requested my ID yet again! His overall attitude was unsatisfactory, and caused me to change my mind on my purchases and simply leave.

This store is always clean and organized. The staff is courteous and thorough while also being discreet.

So I came in the store, and automatically was told I wouldn’t be able to get anything and I’m not allowed in or to get any items, keeping my cool I tell them pull up a name or who ever this person is they agree that it wasnt me then proceeds to tell me I’m unable to get an item I asked for the whip it brand, rude attitude asked me to leave after words . I had to then to go to frolics where I had no problem, but basically feel racially profiled and compared to another transgender black person . I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected.

I had a similar experience like the last guy who got harassed by the sales clerk. Im not sure its the same woman who tried that crap with me, she had short hair and kinda looked as if she hated men the way she looked at me. The owner should look into that matter. Seams to be a pattern.
