In the days of indoor regulations, it was a breath of fresh air to be allowed to eat delicious McMenamins food while inhaling the smoke of a fine cigar, all whole indoors. The large open front doors and powerful ventilation system kept the problems that other restaurants experience to a minimum. I really appreciate the helpful staff and the atmosphere is awesome as you would expect from a McMenamins. I will be coming back in the future.
Love this place. Cozy space, great vibe, friendly staff, here at least once every couple weeks to enjoy cigars. Just please, for the love of God, stop playing the same Pink Floyd records on repeat. Last three times Ive been here its been Floyd, Hank Williams, Floyd, Hank Williams, and then back to Floyd. More music exists, its out there, and its a wonderful sonic world out there of you just take a moment to listen. Truffle fries are the bomb.
This place is amazing, if you love cigars come and have a seat, order some Scooby snacks, and just chill for a bit
Very chill atmosphere. The glass walls open up so the small space merges with the sidewalk. Great for people watching.
While it is open now since it has outdoor seating, there is actual indoor seating too.Bundle up, nonetheless.Love the low key vibe, service and a chance to enjoy my cigar.
Great cigar bar and good drinks.
This wayside pub and cigar bar, built into the side of the Bagdad feels a bit like your buddy just rolled up their garage door to show off their man cave. Smokers paraphernalia abound on the walls. Indoor or outdoor seating is available (depending on the fickle PNW weather) at one of the handful of tables and benches.Despite its size, Greater Trumps is both cozy and roomy. The quaint bar offers a surprisingly large selection of drinks, most of which use McMenamins brand liquors as the base, but they would be remiss if they didnt have a healthy selection of scotch for the discerning smoker (fortunately, they do).Pretty great place to grab a quick drink and/or snack while wandering up and down Hawthorne.
One of the few cigar lounges in Portland. The cigar selection is minimal (~10) but the sticks above $10 are decent. They have a full bar and kitchen so the best part of coming here is having a meal and a drink along with your cigar. Also, they dont have torch lighters to borrow so be sure to bring your own. Come on a sunny day to enjoy their sidewalk patio.
Hit everything I wanted on my trip home, but we gotta rethink that drumpf name.
I absolutely love this place but dont want to tell anyone so it doesnt get too crowded hahah a good little cigar selection, great liquor menu and hot tea! Highly recommend their Port flight ITS SO GOOD!
Great place, intimate and airy. Good cigar selection and lovely drinks, plus food! Cant go wrong at this little hole in the wall gem!
Tiny and awesome
Nice to have a go-to open air cigar bar around. Staff is very hands off and if you want anything its all up to you to wave them down and speak up and even then they seem irritated half the time but whatever. You cant make tips what you dont let me order!!
Nice to sit outside and eat while social distancing
The cigars with some whiskey late night . Happy hour menu.. cant ask for more
Greater Trumps is a nice place to get out of the weather and enjoy a cigar. The place is small and can probably only hold around 30 people. If you like cigars this place is a must go.
The better of mcs bars. Definitely the hip older person place
