My purchase did not run and drive great as he stated in the listing. The side by side i purchased is in limp mode and there was no way to take it for a drive in his Portland area. He told me that there was nothing wrong with it besides a short with the light bar. After buying it and getting it to a place to ride I noticed it is in limp mode, the light bar does not work, there is a huge hole in the belt case which is located under the seat. The passenger seat does not come out without manually pushing the pin as it is broken too. There are no seat belt sensors and it came with a DPS issue that I have now fixed. This vehicle for 14,000.00 was not at all what he described and I would not buy from him.

A long search for a specific flavor of an E46 M3 landed me in the lot of Tarcus Motor Company. This was by far the worst car buying experience Ive ever had! Some issues below. This is regarding a 2015 M5.Pressured me to change shops for PPI due to long wait times. Changed from my preferred shop only to get same day scheduled with a different shop.Salesman Cosmin tells me 1 day before the car goes in for a scheduled PPI that someone had purchased the car. Except this was a lie, no one had purchased the car!Another Salesman called me the following day and says car isnt actually sold and wants to make a deal. I was surprised because I was told they sold the car.Salesman Cosmin told me a deposit to hold the car wasn’t needed but he allows a guy from another state to put a deposit on the same car and essentially give him “dibs” on the car but didn’t allow me the chance to do the same even though I offered to put a deposit on the car and I came 10 days before the other buyer. Ultimately the other buyer bailed on the car and now lost the other serious buyer after screwing me outta the deal and lying to me.So all in all Wasted 10 days of my time, lied to me and said car was purchased when it was not. And allowed another person who came after me to put a deposit on the car after telling me it wasn’t needed.

I am always wary of used car dealers, so I would never give one a 5 star review unless they truly earned it. That being said, Tarcus is NOT your standard used car company. I came in and looked at a car, and Horatio was always patient, never ONCE pushy, and made sure all my concerns were met. They went above and beyond to help, and I believe theyre genuinely good guys. Highly recommended. Completely transparent. Communication is key. If you are interested in a vehicle here I would definitely check it out. My friend and I flew in to Portland, Oregon from across the country to check out the 07 STi you guys had for sale after chatting about the details. We were a little skeptical at first, but after looking the vehicle over we knew it was the one. 2,875 miles and one oil change later, we made it home. No issues, we even took the STi through the mountains of Utah/Wyoming/Colorado. 12/10 would purchase again from Tarcus Motors.

The staff was very rude and I was standing on the lot for at least 10 minutes before someone approached me. While looking for those 10 minutes I was able to identify obscure structures on vehicles, horrible paint jobs, rust etc.. I was looking at a Lexus that claimed to be low mileage but was inconsistent when I was showed a Carfax. It looked like the vehicle had 2 different shade of colors so I am assuming it was wrecked in the rear and a chop shop put it back together. When confronted the Manager told me to leave the lot and never come back in a threatening way. I was very displeased and they have deleted my past Google reviews of me exposing their operation. Seems like they are just a bunch of pot / coke heads but hey Ive learned that the industry for used car dealers are...

Went to this place looking for a new pickup that suited my needs better than my current one. Walked in and they were already ready to show and test drive the vehicle. (2008 dodge ram)They were super nice and easy to work with, very stress free, didnt pressure me into anything and when I inquired about trade ins, they offered me a decent price for my old pickup and were willing to stay late and work with me in order to send me home with my dream truck.The truck itself is nice, it could have been a little cleaner inside but I dont blame them, you cant be too nitpicky when it comes to used cars.Alltogether they were easy to work with, the vehicle is nice and up to my standards and nothing has gone wrong (so far so good). I had a very good experience and they were very helpful and answered all of my questions.Thank you pat for all of your help and the super chill atmosphere and information about the truck which ultimately sold me.

I called Tarcus Motor Co when I saw they were selling the car I’ve been looking for. I was pre-approved by my bank so I was ready to buy if the car was in the condition I expected. After the test drive we sat down and he asked if I wanted them to see if they could get me a better apr using their banks. Guess it was my lucky day. They were able to beat my banks rate by several points! It’s been 6 months now and the car still runs great like the first day on the lot. They are professional, reliable and an honest company. My overall experience with Tarcus Motor Company has been appalling. The owner is dishonest to a fault, employs drug addicts, makes deviously unethical deals and will convince you that your cars value is much less than it actually is just to pocket the cash.I have consigned many cars through TMC for a fee that was mutually agreed upon between both parties prior to any sales being made. After doing business with them, I was extremely disappointed to find out that I was lied to about the selling price of the cars leaving TMC pocketing thousands of dollars that should have been mine.I was selling a red Maserati (first photo on the company’s Google page) though TMC which I had organized myself, directing the buyer to the dealership. The owner and his employees told me that the buyer didn’t follow through and someone else ended up purchasing the car. Weeks later, I received a phone call from the buyer who I initially spoke with confirming that he did in fact purchase the car but was quite frustrated that he still hadn’t received the title for the vehicle. Not only did the dealership lie to me about the selling price of the car, causing me to lose thousands of dollars, they also lost the title of the car which happens frequently at this dealership. I strongly suspect this happened with the other vehicles I sold through TMC but I only have physical evidence with the Maserati.I considered myself a close friend with the owner, family even and was still treated disrespectfully without professionalism. Someone close to the company notified me that these kinds of things happen often with friends, family and regular customers as well.To this day, the owner has admitted that his business stole money from me, but has not taken responsibility for the wrongdoings and blames his employees. I would advise you to take your business elsewhere to save yourself time, money and added stress. Honest dealerships do exist and I suggest you find one.

When in to look at a car. They showed me the car and looked at my trade in. Told me they would get back to me in a couple of days. They never got back to me even after I had texted them and asked. Once I texted again they told me they had already sold the car. I think communication is very important if that is what you are looking for based of my experience I would not recommend them.
