We purchased a new Cutwater from Sundance yachts recently and the boat had a couple of concerning factory issues. At first I was pretty disappointed as you can imagine.Sundance stepped up and really took care of us.Drew took a 5 hour drive and picked the boat up for repairs. Brianna in service kept us informed of the repair progress.Joe the technician seems very knowledgeable and got the repairs completed.On top of all that Drew is delivering the boat back with another 5 hour drive!Top notch service for sure!

These guys are topnotch !!!Andrew who handled our purchase over the phone, was super helpful with the change orders we made, as we live 800 miles away. When we went to pick up our vessel Aaron, our technician, was amazingly helpful and exceptionally friendly. Lori handled our paper work with ease. Ken closed the deal and we are now sitting on our beautiful Cutwater enjoying a glass of champagne.

We had our boat here this summer of 2021. Although, we have left the boating community for now, this is a first class place. Top to bottom, the employees at Sundance were there to help their customers. I just cannot say enough good things about everyone we interacted with. If I ever end up buying a boat again in the Portland area, I just would not do it without Sundance as my marina.

This is my first boat in the 40 foot range and I was never compelled to write a review until now. I wanted a bigger boat that we could stay out on the water for days on end and go up into the San Juans in Washington. I talked to three different dealers and not the best of results. I reached out to Sundance and talked to Ken Stanley and right of the bat I felt very comfortable with him I told him what I was looking for and he said I have a boat that you might be interested in so I made an appointment and my wife and I went down to look at what he had. Ken was by far one of the most honest and trustworthy guy I have ever met. He gave me the pros and cons things to look out for but also to be happy with what I get not just at the time but for years to come. I bought the boat not only did I get a great deal but he helped me through the marine survey the sea trials and he even helped in replacing a few things on the boat. I went in on a whim few months ago wanting to talk about boats as I was considering buying something in the 36-42ft range. When I walked in, I was greeted by Ken Stanley whom was very open, direct, and honest. Answered all my questions I had, and even posed questions that I did not think of but were also important to note. It was nearly a 2 month search to find the boat that I was looking for and Ken would send me emails every few days, and I would also send him emails every few days of listings I had found in which he gave great insight to. We finally found a local boat in which he helped me schedule the survey, asked me what to specially look for in the survey, helped me arrange conversation with a mechanic to fix items, and also helped me negotiate with buyer for a fair and honest deal.Through the whole process, anytime I called or texted Ken with a question, I would get a call back or text immediately, seemed like the guy worked 24/7 and always there to help. Definitely recommend speaking with Ken if you are ever seeking to look at boats to purchase, and would 10/10 recommend and when I look for another boat (hopefully) in a few years, I will 100% go back to work and speak with Ken first.

God forbid if you need a warranty work that needs to be done on your boat. They’ll try every possible excuse not to do it. These guys gave me a run around like 1-2 months. They didnt even bother to return my calls. Of course, They never took care of the warranty work.Stay away from this dealership and save yourself a big headache.

If you are thinking about buying a motorboat, you can’t go wrong with Sundance Yachts. From the sales/support staff to the mechanical service team to the lineup of boats available from Sundance, this is a five-star operation. First things first, working with Ken Stanley, the head of sales at Sundance in Vancouver, was an absolute pleasure. The first time my wife and I stopped into the Sundance showroom, basically on a whim, we weren’t thinking about buying a boat for at least a year, and even though Ken knew this, he graciously devoted over an hour of his time, showing us boats and indulging us by going through the pricing on options in great detail. When we returned to Sundance a couple of months later, after doing extensive research, and this time—sooner than we had been planning—seriously interested in buying, Ken helped us find exactly the boat we wanted. I had done a lot of research on boat pricing, spreadsheeting the costs of options, checking out websites around the country, and visiting/calling other dealers in the area. When it got to the point where my wife and I were sitting down with Ken to discuss the business side of matters, I held my breath as Ken told us the price of the boat, expecting the worst, especially since boats have been selling so well during the coronavirus pandemic that dealers are having a hard time getting new stock. I was pleasantly surprised by the price Ken quoted, which was eminently fair for the boat we wanted with the options it had, and lucky for us, within our budget. Brian from the finance department at Sundance did an excellent job connecting us with competitive financing, and within a week we had signed the sales agreement. What really stands out to me about Ken is the ongoing support he has given us since we signed the agreement and took possession of the boat. We are new to boating, and Ken took a lot of time helping us get familiar with the operating systems of the boat and with some basic boating knowledge, like setting fenders and tying knots. Ken went out with us on the boat twice to be sure that we were comfortable and competent with docking, dropping anchor, and other operations. Every time I have called Ken with a question or concern, he has always answered or gotten back to me right away, and he always seems genuinely happy to help. Simply outstanding customer service. In addition to all of this, Sundance offers full mechanical and boat maintenance services, and I have been impressed with the expertise and professionalism of Jarod and the mechanical crew. Finally, the boat manufacturers represented by Sundance—Jeanneau, Prestige, Cutwater, and Four Winns—are all top-tier companies, and taken together, they offer a wide range of styles and prices. I wholeheartedly recommend Sundance Yachts.

I had an excellent experience at Sundance. We had been looking for a Regal Windows Express for quite a while and found a 2006 that is in almost new condition. John Comer was extremely helpful in the negotiations, arranging for some work to be done for us next door at Cook Engine, and even came in while quite ill to make sure the survey we needed went well. Just wish we had a covered storage place like this near is in the Seattle area! Really cool how they load boats into the Columbia.

Can’t say enough about the after sales experience with Ken going from a sail boat to a power boat was a big change Ken Offered to help me make the transition by giving me boarding lessons after the point of sale this is unheard of and spent hours with me in the boat as far as the Commission was very small for Ken Yeah he went far beyond to assist me. We ordered a Jeanneau NC 895 through Sundance. The factory itself is working through production volume issues which resulted in a delay of 8 - 10 weeks. Sundance more than made up for the delays through service and concessions. When we outgrow the 895 well be back at Sundance for the 1095. We worked with Andrew as our sales associate, and he was very responsive to all of our quires and needs.Update: Weve worked with the service department for the last two years on minor warranty items and theyve been great. On our last trip we chipped the fiberglass around the bow thruster. Jarrod and his staff jumped on it making a quick repair, saving our trip to the San Juans. Thanks Sundance

Its a nice marina but, you have to check the boat before you buy it. Their survey means nothing but lie. bad management, not honest at all, they damaged many boats while moving them specially while their remodeling. They wont take any responsibility for damages and change the subject. They have bad accounting and try to rip people off for their own mistakes. The manager keeps harassing certain guests. The management threats people before solving a problem. Very Unprofessional.

Overall I had a very positive experience with my purchase at Sundance Yacht. Michael Rongo put me in a new CUTWATER C-302 COUPE . The boat is great for fishing and my favorite part is the new built in grill!

From the initial purchase of my boat to helping train me on captaining it (and it was a lot of hours) to constantly taking my calls when I need help with something on the boat to taking it out of the water in the winter and fixing everything that needed fixing they have been nothing but helpful, responsive, and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend John Comer at Sundance Yachts.He first helped me by recommending some auto transportation companies and was very helpful.I then referred a friend who wanted to sell a boat and John was very helpful.Then it came time for me to sell my boat. Of course, first thing I did was try to sell it on Craigslist. After 1 month, I was not successful and gave John the boat. He took care of everything - got it cleaned up, advertised, etc. And sold it in less than a week. Whats even more surprising is I got almost exactly what I asked for it on Craigslist. So John has customers who will buy from HIM not anybody on Craigslist.I think part of what makes John so successful is he likes helping people. I dont think he sees his job as selling boats. I truly believe he enjoys seeing someone buy a new toy, and also really enjoys helping someone sell their old toy.

I would like to commend the folks at Sundance for having such a great staff. I just bought a boat from John Cromer and cant say enough about how professional he is and how smooth the process was. I have bought many boats over the years and it can be a very complicated and time consuming ordeal. John bent over backwards to make this one quick and easy. Considering the severe time contraints I had and the fact that I came all the way from Alaska to buy the boat and then get it back to Juneau made it even more challenging. Sundance is very lucky to have such high caliber people on their team! John is also a very personable, friendly gentleman that I am now proud to call a good friend!
