Great facility, hours, and friendly all volunteer staff. Costs $5/hr to use their tools of which theyve got a great selection. I know what Im doing and was in and out quick. For those who need help, your mileage may vary based on whos helping that night.

A1 service. First place Ive been to in Portland that gave me what I was asking for without there input on what I should be getting or doing. With the bike Ive been working on for the last year trying to get the perfect fit. I know wut I need thats why Im at the trying a new product trial and error....But thank you!!!!!Other shops......

My first time at Bike Farm was last summer. I was a new cyclist and didnt know anything about bike maintenance besides changing a flat and changing disc brake pads. They taught me how to transfer a cassette to a new wheel, and since then Ive completely overhauled my bike with their help. I volunteer there, now, and while were not open to the public just yet due to COVID, we have some great things in the works to serve the community in a limited capacity. Thank you Bike Farm!

Best used bike parts store around. They always have more than what I’m looking for at very reasonable prices.Hours are a little weird, so double check before heading over.

Im a fairweather cyclist and probably hadnt ridden a bike since I was a kid before I walked in here. Id ordered a bike online, and it came in a box with next to no instructions on how to assemble it. The staff here were EXCEPTIONAL with helping me assemble it. They were very good at telling me how to do things but never stepping in and actually doing them for me. Because of that, I left Bike Farm knowing way more than I expected to about how my bike works and how to diagnose potential problems. The other folks there working on their bikes were super friendly as well. 5/5, walking into Bike Farm was a great experience.

Excellent staff always ready to answer your questions. Theyre passionate about helping people learn about how their bikes work. It can get busy on weekends but it is the best place to learn about your bike. Inexpensive used parts of you need em!

This is the worst place for getting any sort of help. I understand people are there to work on bikes and learn things, but to completely ignore someone who asks for help trying to find a replacement bike fork is unacceptable. I will never come here again and I will advise everyone else to stay away as well if youre looking to fine some answers.

Stopped in yesterday, needed a rear wheel because my spokes kept breaking. They initially didnt have one that fit but we kept looking and dug out one that was close enough. With some help, tools and direction from the crew there I was able to swap out my free wheel and put the used wheel on my bike. It took less than 45 minutes and cost $28. A new wheel installed at a shop starts at around $100 so I was thrilled. Will definitely stop by again

This places kicks arse. They have new and used parts, with a discount for Bike Farm members. They also sell inexpensive used bikes. You can use their bike stands and tools for either an hourly fee or you can get a six month or yearly membership. Its completely volunteer-run and the majority of the staff are amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. I have learned an amazing amount of skills here.

I came in with a bike, a new chain and rear cassette and brake pads in a box. 1-2 hours later I rode out with all new things attached, old things properly disposed of and they sold me correct pads to replace the incorrect ones I was sold previously. $10 total amount spent and I was taught how to do it for next time. Thanks Steve and bike farm, you are legit!!1 guy was essentially helping 3 or 4 walk in folks at once whilst manning the counter, great job Steve. Ill be back and hope to help keep this thing going by volunteering or otherwise.

Went in for some cheap used parts. Spent the next two hours getting help from the volunteer bike techs fixing my existing parts so I wouldnt have to buy any. This place is a gem and I will be getting the monthly subscription.
