Being new to cycling and not having a whole lot of experience with different repair shops I found the folks here to be especially attentive to my inexperience and trustworthy- they went above and beyond to help me when I felt vulnerable. Integrity and personal service, I find to be their strengths!

So this place is obviously magical. Where in Portland have I ever found quality, same-day bike service in late afternoon?Called these folks because I’d just decided to do Bridge Pedal tomorrow morning and suddenly felt worried about my bike’s condition. For $40 and 45 minutes, my braking, pedaling, shifting, and suspension all felt WAY better, and I got the peace of mind I’d wanted before bombing way too fast down the Fremont Bridge. As so many local bike repair shops in my area have closed (or been acquired by Trek – ugh), it’s great to find a place where I can still get awesome, attentive, even time-sensitive service. Thank yall!!

I brought in my Specialized Roubaix on a Tuesday morning. It was making some noises from the bracket and gears. The mechanic looked it over while I was there and figured out several things that needed fixing. He called me the next day, explaining everything he did, including some suggestions for maintenance. The cost was very reasonable. When I rode the bike next, it was better than new--smooth and quiet. Why would I take my bike anywhere else?

New to Portland and switching to a regular 8 mile commute, I started looking for a place to get my bike tuned-up. The reviews, and the name of this place convinced me to try it out. They do not disappoint. They stuck to the quote they gave me, they were on time and my bike has never been so clean and smooth running. It’s so quiet now! They aren’t the cheapest tune up I’ve ever had, but the quality made it worth it. Highly recommend.

Good shop. Deep passion and knowledge here. Fixed up my old ugly road bike many times without getting comments towards its shape or condition. Never tried to sell me on anything. Always professional, friendly, fast, and solid. Excellent. And if youre lucky, you get to see the adorable dog who likes to hang out at the window.

Abrahams is the best! All of their staff are great, especially Trevor. He’s done many tune ups on my bikes over the years and my bike always comes back out riding like it’s brand new. They always do a very thorough job and are always offering recommendations for components, rides, or just general tips. They’re super knowledgeable. Wouldn’t trust my bike with anyone else!

When I politely asked a worker about three bikes blocking the sidewalk, he implied I wasted his time. Pretty crazy to think bikes on the sidewalk might be associated with the bike shop less than five feet from the bikes.Edit: Moved this to five star as the issue was a misunderstanding and has nothing to do with the business. We were both probably having a bad day, it happens

Brought my bike in for a standard tune-up after building it from the box. Not only did Abraham and crew service my bike quickly, they also had some great recommendations to make my bike life last longer and for a more comfortable ride. I liked the overall laidback style of the shop and it’s very clear that all of the staff are very knowledgeable and explain any problems or issues clearly. I left feeling informed and confident that my bike was good to go! I’ll definitely be back for any future biking needs.

The bolts they used to attach my chain ring to my crank failed which resulted in catastrophic failure less than 10 miles after installation. Every single bolt they installed popped out, the chain got mangled and I was left with no control of my bike as I careened into a busy intersection. I have zero trust in the repair they did after the incident and Im terrified to ride this bike now, not to mention the permanent damage this caused to the frame that was previously impeccable. This is really unfortunate as I was excited to make this my new regular bike shop. VERY disappointed, will likely never return.

I have a Fuji road bike and never had a tune up since purchasing it in 2006. I dont ride it often but after trying to do minor fixes myself at the Bike Farm, decided that it could use a professional service. After Abraham did his work, I couldnt wait to ride my bike. It road like a breeze and I thought I was out of shape not being able to handle some hills! They also sawed off a lock that I lost a key to my luggage and put air in my tires when I needed for free.Very nice staff and love the dog Watson.

Repost of my FB review: Car backed into my custom steel frame Colnago a few weeks ago while it was locked up in front of 5th Quadrant, bending the frame (front and back), the rear dropouts and the tear derailleur. It was a mess. I walked it over the AFB because I had heard good things word of mouth from my bike-builder friend, and it was nearby. They took my baby in and made her right as rain in PDX, better than before the driver of the Mercedes SUV with the broken back-up camera decided to Zen it instead of using that big makeup mirror in the middle. Mad respect for William, who received my bike and handed it back to me primo condition. I’d show before and after pix but it would not do justice to the expert blend of art and science and love used to not only undo the damage but also succeed in making her even better than before. I was so happy that my wife now wants to drop me off for fixing. :-p In closing, remember this: YNWA! (If you root for Liverpool, or ride a bike).

Abraham did an amazing job on my bike. I had another bike shop do a tune up (about twice as expensive), but it still had some issues. He looked at it and quickly was able to figure out what was wrong and fixed it up on the spot.
