Popped in yesterday to see about a haircut and they were busy for several hours (good for them!) so I made an appointment for today. I brought in a photo, my stylist Cassie asked some clarifying questions, which resulted in a great cut at a good price.

Breanna did a great job on my son’s haircut. And was quick and efficient too.

Listened to my son with what he wanted and he was happy with the haircut. Left some hair trimming on his neck and face that tickled him, which is common after haircuts but maybe a little more that I’m used to seeing, so he’ll wash up tonight. But it looks great!

Cassie is by far one of the best hair stylist I have ever gone to. My natural hair color is dark brown with red under tones and I usually do black or dark red colors in my hair because more often than not my highlights would come out several different colors and all the colors you didnt want (orange/yellow), so I always just went with dark all over colors. I wanted to start lightening because of grays so I was very upfront with her about the previous colors on my hair. Turns out she is a MIRACLE worker! She lightened and toned my balayage to a golden Carmel color first session and I almost cried I was so happy! Thats from having black and red grow out too! Aside from her crazy awesome skills and knowledge she was also so fun and easy to talk to and passed the time with ease. I feel very blessed to have found such a gem within my price range, but honestly she deserves to make a lot more

Bishops is amazing. I been searching all my life for a place that could give me a crisp adult looking haircut. I used to shave my own hair bald every time I was due for a trim because explaining what i wanted to stylists was too stressful. Bishops totally changed that experience for me, I highly recommend it, Daniela does exceptional work.

Emily my stylist is also the manager of the shop. She is a color specialist like no other. I have been to many salons over the years who talk the talk but they don’t deliver. That’s not the case here. They do a consistently good job that’s why I’m return.

I walked in and back out super fast, and the cut is great! Recommend setting an appointment. Definitely planning on returning, it was a great experience all around.

I came to Bishops because I am going back to work next week and my hair SO needed a good cut. I was a walk-in but they got me in in 40 minutes. Excellent customer service. Daniella gave me exactly the cut I wanted working off my driver’s license photo. I will definitely be back!

I brought my son here for a haircut today and Emily was incredibly rude to not only to myself but also to my 7yr old son. She just about cut his hair without even asking what we wanted. I was willing to overlook the subpar service I received over the weekend for my oldest son (from another stylist) and give it another chance incase the previous stylist was having a bad day or something however it seems at least two stylist here are just not personable to say the least.

I really like this place. They’re easy to book with, and Maddy always does a great job at executing exactly what I ask for. I’ve never had a bad experience, I always have a relaxing haircut and go home feeling great about how I look.

This place is awesome! Its converted from an old garage shop and has great music on. Gave me an old school Portland punk rock vibe like when I was a kid and teenage. Chops is such a good dude too. He cut my 5 year olds hair and made him really comfortable in the process. They were both chatting the whole time. At the end Chops gave my son a small lego millennium falcon and my son couldnt stop talking about it for days. Chops is a straight up good dude, it is especially nice to have someone be kind and friendly considering how some people have turned during this pandemic, restored our faith in humanity a bit. He was also sporting a Gary Tent Jr jersey so you know he has good taste. We will come here for all or hair cut and dying needs! Thanks for making it a fun memorable experience.

I showed her some pictures from my phone and we discussed my color options.I had such a wonderful experience, Janelle was very knowledgeable about curly hair. I asked her many questions on hair care. She was also very kind and gentle to my hair. She gave my hair a lot of TLC during my hair highlighting and hair trimming process. Have always had good luck with high quality haircuts from Bishops and today was nothing short of spectacular. Showed up early for my scheduled appointment and got to sit right down with my stylist and get to work. Trying out a new style and Janelle had lots of great input. Miss having a beer upon entering, but had one before and it was all good. Definitely looking forward to going back for my next cut. If you value your hair, then do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to let Bishops hook you up!

Literally will never give this company a dime again. I had missed my last appointment because my friend had passed away. My husband had missed a few appointments because he had to work but he always called ahead to cancel so they would be able to fill their spot. As soon as I walked in I was approached by Daniella Hopson and a coworker of her and I was shamed for missing my last appointment. They didnt even give me a chance to explain that my friend had passed away when I missed my last one. Which is the only one I have ever missed and not given at least few days notice. If talking down to your customers and shaming them for missing an appointment is your version of customer service then that is sad. I have customers cancel every day because life happens (got to pick their kids up, they get sick, bad mental health day, family emergency or maybe they just forget) and I have never once not invited my customers back in with hospitality. Your customers pay your bills. If a missed appointment makes or breaks you, youre probably not in the right business. Its pathetic that you expect to treat people like they are less than worthy of hair cut and expect someone to actually pay you for your absolute terrible customer service. I would like to be put in touch with the owner so they can address the quality of customer service they are providing. Ive been a regular customer for 3 years and have always enjoyed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere but the new manager and Daniela Hopson arent professionals.

I have had lots of good experiences here. Todays was probably the best. Maya was great. She really listened to what I wanted and she even talked to one of her coworkers to bounce an idea off of for how to do the cut. I love my haircut! Also I felt as safe anyone could while out of the house during covid. Everyone had masks and were as far apart as possible. They also had the big roll doors open.

She’s able to execute EXACTLY what I covey in the consult, great listener and she will never cut too much (micro trim if that’s what I ask for) that’s what I get. I feel like it’s a rarity these days to find a stylist that will listen, hear & execute WHAT I want, not their “vision” for my hair. Being in Janelle’s chair is so relaxing& I always leave pleased with my cut& color! Jody was great to work with, she listened to me and didn’t go crazy with her scissors. I have thick unruly hair that I have bleached at home, and she did not lecture me on my at home bleach job which has happened at other salons. She also knew how to approach thick hair with a wave pattern so that I didn’t have a mushroom cloud on my head. I had a great experience and will be going back.
