I ordered a radiator from Halsey so I can buy local and to have a shop stand behind the product. I would have saved $100 by shopping online but would have to wait a few days. When the radiator came in after a few hours it didnt look oem (it looked good but not 1/1 compared to the oem denso), had two suspicious cuts through the frame (looked like they were from a portaband?) on the top and bottom and was twisted a little. I noticed in the parking lot and after paying. It looked like it would work but wasnt worth full price in my opinion. When I returned I dont feel like I was being well taken care of. The rad was hand straitened by whom I assume was a manager. Then he said it was perfectly straight and that the cuts looked factory. I said Id take it for a heavy discount of $100 or $150 off or take another one. Dude was short and told me hes only making $30 bucks and that he can do $15 off. I declined and ordered another. Its a setback because I need the radiator for my commuter.I will delete or edit this review if they make up for it tomorrow. If not Ill return the radiator and purchase it online. For the record the people I dealt with on the phone and the counter guys were rad. It was the fixer whom I felt was lacking in customer service.

They have parts! Not just for Volkswagen! I get parts for my 1983 Volvo and 1987 Toyota van(sold) there- Denso! Sold the van but bought a 2008 Sienna and got an aftermarket idler pulley from them. Good parts store.

If you have an old import (like my 81 rabbit), this is your spot. They have most everything and can get what the dont often with a few hours.Staff is knowledgable, too.

Halsey has the parts most other places don’t carry

Currently own an 08 audi quattro, Ive been to multiple auto parts stores for various things Ive needed for my car from wiper blades to antifreeze. This store has everything I need fully stocked. Glad I found this spot n everythings reasonably priced.

I have been using Halsey Imports for a very long time! Anytime I am in need for specialty parts or routine maintenance parts and fluids this is the only place to go.Make sure you ask for Frank!He is very mechanically inclined when it comes to any part that I request unlike your normal parts sales guy.. Frank knows exactly what I am looking for and he always makes sure to get me the best quality possible within a timely manner!The nice thing about this place is most of the time I can get what I need right away or within a few hours unlike ordering parts online that takes days to receive.

Fastest way to get just about ANY automotive part for your import.

Great place to get euro parts that the big name part places need to special order. Good prices too. Dont read the review from the crybaby Cody down the list hes slow. You cant install electrical parts and expect to return them. Go shop at auto zone Cody :)

Wrong parts, wrong rotors, wrong pads and when I walked in for the right parts they were on the phone with someone who... had received the wrong parts. They seem like nice guys, but if I have to stop in the middle of the brake job because I have 4 back rotors and the pads for who knows what then they are no better than big name suppliers.

When you cant find the part for your Import anywhere else, Halsey usually has it. They are pretty good@ tracking parts down for you as well. I believe they deal mainly with VWs but I get parts for my STi & Evo there often.

Friendly service. They didnt have the parts I needed the first time I came in. They did order them and a few days later I came back to pick them up. Very affordable place if you do your own car maintenance or repairs.

Great place for parts for your euro junk! They’re strong on VW parts, but had some oddball parts in stock for my Mercedes W123 TD. Super knowledgeable & friendly, with decent prices to boot!

This place is the best, been going here for years. Its hard to find parts for old Mk1s & 2s and they always have stuff in stock. The staff is very knowledgeable and get straight to the point of finding your part. No BS or small talk, at all, actually its kind of funny how straight faced and serious everyone is. Walk to the counter, place your order, step left. hand them your money. Reminds me of the soup nazi on Seinfeld.

I bought a BMW Crankshaft sensor from them the day before and it was put in by a certified mechanic they know and it did not work. The mechanic reminded me that the crankshaft sensor from Halsey is a piece of junk for the same thing happened to my Land Rover and we tried 3 of them out before we had no choice but went to Land Rover dealership. Scott, supposedly the manager, would NOT EVEN LISTEN NOR CARE about junk he is selling. I told him the crankshaft sensor they sell are not good sensors This time we would not want to do 3 tries as suggest by him until we find a good sensor.**********************WARNING**********************PLEASE DO NOT BUY PARTS FROM HALSEY for they are not stand behind what they sell.******************************************************I will take them to small claim court to get my money back. HALSEY IMPORT PARTS ARE A CROOKED BUSINESS.

Shady establishment been a loyal customer for years. this time i went in for a coil pack turns out it was not he issue. so i went to return because a employee said to come in to see what they could do.when i got their i got told by a employee that took a literal 2 second glance at my product and said nope been plugged in non returnable. After asking for information about warrantys and such. the manager got mad and said i no longer got my 12m warranty and threw my part on the counter. robbing me if the warranty. which i dont think is legal. (input would be nice) very poor business practices. i understand now why their main staff no longer works here.Save ur money and go to discount imports you will be treated much better.

Ive been buying parts from the guys at Halsey since I was 16 years old (Im now 41). I must have spent at least $10,000 there over the years on my various VWs & BMWs. Theyre all extremely knowledgeable and if something isnt in stock (rare) they can almost always get it later that same day. Maybe 2-3% of the time have I ever had to wait longer than next day to get what I needed. I also find it very stress-relieving to know theyre only selling good parts. Ive tried to save some money a few times by going online (For example, their VW 1.8t cam chain tensioner is around $140 I believe but I found one on eBay for $80) and regretted it 6 months later when I was replacing it again.In response to the negative review about not accepting an electrical part return btw, I have a hard time believing one of the guys threw the part on the counter but not accepting electrical parts back that have been plugged in is a pretty common practice with all parts suppliers. I learned this lesson myself when I was about 23 and bought a $160 MAF sensor that I couldnt return. I was frustrated (like it sounds like he is) but the frustration was due to my own misdiagnosis, not that it was their fault for not taking back a part that was now used. Used for 5 minutes is still used.Anyway, I cant say enough good things about them. I hope they stay in business forever.
