I purchased a used car in September and a few weeks later had Mobile West install a double din stereo and a backup camera for me. They did a fantastic job. A few weeks later it was brought to my attention that my backup lights and a rear blinker were out. I had the bulbs replaced but the lights still didn’t work. A friend told me she thought it was probably caused by Mobile West but for some reason I didn’t call them. After all, the car was used and I didn’t want to blame them. Then a few weeks later, my hazard lights were flashing on their own without the button being pushed and I couldn’t get them to turn off. Finally I called. Peter said to bring the car in right away and they’d take a look. Long story short, they found the issue was not due to a mistake on their part. Insert a bunch of electrical jargon here but it wasn’t covered by the warranty since it wasn’t their fault. However! Peter could not have taken better care of me. He said he knew when I dropped the car off I wasn’t expecting to have to pay anything so he charged me a more than fair price for the job (I was on the verge of tears expecting it to be several hundred dollars + and when he told me the amount I almost cried tears of relief). I walked away relieved that it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg and they solved all my electrical problems. Thank you Peter and everyone at Mobile West.

Called for an estimate to replace my OEM receiver with a new one I had purchased (from Cruchfield with all req accessories), was given a quote, and same day appt. They completed the install at the quoted price, and although they didnt notice one speaker now wasnt working, when I informed them they reconnected that speakers wires and I was good to go. Sounds great, so no complaint here.

Installed a new security system for my work van. They went above and beyond. I broke my door latch a few years back. They did a quick fix. Nothing fancy but I can use it now and I appreciate it.

I went in wanting to upgrade my sound system with a budget of $3000. The staff seemed well informed and very friendly. I paid premium and bought the whole morel setup and about $1200 worth of fabrication.What I left the shop with was much less to be desired... The tweeters they had mounted straight to my factory dash speaker grills, unlike mounting them In the A pillar like any other shop would have done. They look like snail eyes peering into the depths of my soul. Just a little nerve wrecking while you are driving down the highway!besides cosmetics, right as I left the shop I knew something was wrong audibly. I couldnt make out the vocals and most instruments sounded washed out and it honestly was considerably WORSE than my stock speakers. I called the shop and they asked me to wait a couple weeks for the speakers to break in and in the same breath he told me that I will need a DSP to fix it! my final payment was already $100 over my budget and now hes trying to tell me I need to spend another grand to get my sound fixed.For the price of $895 + $130 in supplies, my amplifiers were mounted to the styrofoam block under the floorboard in my trunk. For $895 they cut 2 holes in a styrofoam block, mounted a 12 volt fan, and routed some wires. If I knew thats all it was, I wouldve saved the cash and done it myself. To continue on about the amplifiers, That 12 volt fan they mounted? It has nowhere to pull fresh air from. After an hour of playing my music at low volume, My amps got up to ~145 F. I have to constantly worry now about how loud I play my music to prevent the amps from overheating or even worse, blowing out the diodes.I ended up taking my car to a different shop and for much less than what mobile west offered, I got my tweeters mounted in the A pillar, and and a nice set of wide band speakers to fill in that frequency range that the tweeters werent hitting.TLDR: they put in the least amount of effort, charged me premium and didnt even bother to test it before leaving the shop

Overall pretty disappointing experience. I was quoted $1400 for all the work that I wanted to get done on my work van (new stereo & car alarm). Was told it would take 1 full day. Long story short they changed the price to $1650 and it took 3 full days spread out over two weeks.1. Poor communication:I was told it would be a full day of work and made an appointment to drop it off. Dropped it off first thing in the morning (8:55am) expecting it to be finished at the end of the day (6pm)...5:30pm rolls around and still haven’t heard anything...I call in for an update and they tell me “sorry, we’re a bit short staffed today and it will be done tomorrow” okay, I understand that, no problem. 5pm the next day comes...no call... I call in and they say “sorry, we couldn’t get a specific part for your vehicle and it’ll be here next week” Why didn’t youmention that yesterday? Waited 7 days for them to call me back with the part and scheduled the stereo install. Again, dropped it off at 9am waiting untill 5:30 to call in for an update (throughout this whole process they never called me once with an update; I always had to call and check in).2. Price change without notifying meWas quoted $1400; they changed the price by +$250 because “they had to use a nicer alarm” why didn’t anyone mention that to me before it came time to pay the bill? They said “oh sorry, we had to install the alarm with remote start because your vehicle is too new” The remote start wasn’t even working “oh it’s not?” “must be a software issue, schedule an appointment and we will fix it” You mean come in for a fourth day?Overall would not recommend this shop.

I live just a little outside of Tacoma, wa. Check around for an Alpine dealer and installer in my area, closet one was Mobile West in Portland said Alpine.So, Mobile West re-fitted my Silverado with an Alpine Navigation and stereo, backup camera and an alarm system. I came out awesome, went from tiny screen to large screen and maps you can read. It was worth the drive for the results and the price was very reasonable.After 2 yrs, had a false alarm problem with alarm that they solved right away at no cost.Recently, Mobil West re-fitted my Rubicon with an Alpine Navigation and stereo, backup camera, another awesome job.I am glad I went to them, I got the best price, workmanship and warranty.

Im positive that others have had a great experience here as I have gone through their reviews all over the internet. Although very professional and polite our experience is different. We have a 2006 Acura rl that had no problems whatsoever. We came here to have a simple installation of an auxiliary plug. After getting our car back the battery drained by morning, had to jump it everyday after. The high setting on the passenger seat heater has stopped working. The cigarette lighter can be put in a hidden position, now the mechanism does not work... And our cars computer started telling us our oil was low. We took our car into Acura and they told us the car has no codes showing up despite the one coming up on the screen. They said if the auxiliary was installed correctly these things shouldnt happen ... I agreed and left to then get the auxiliary taken out by mobile West to see if it fixed any issues... The company of workers took no responsibility for the things that had become an issue. They took out the component and the next day the car started regularly. The seat heater still works now but the light on the button does not. They just told us to buy a new switch... This was 300 dollars already. Very steep for such a simple install. Telling us to fix the issues that arose only after they worked on the car seemed unfair. Of course we didnt ask for any money back or for them to fix what was now a problem because its hard to communicate that to people who are denying responsibility. In any case. Since then the car works normally just the cigarette lighter and seat heater buttons need replacing I guess. As I said they were polite and I believe in their work ethic. This experience could have gone better though. If I would have my way... I would have them figure out what is wrong after the fact and make it right. Im sure that there is a way to fix those issues. Just a little research internet gave me some insight. But Im not the professional and dont like messing up...

Made an appointment the day before to get my windows tinted. Quality work and friendly staff. Was given a loaner, given a choice between automatic or stick. Stick of course! dropped off my 4Runner, 6 hours later I went and picked her up. Easy peasie!!

Appreciate the work performed, no issue. Needed to ask for invoice on leaving my car at the lot, felt some concern about leaving my car there; was surprised to see my window down in the lot on a damp day after service and the back cargo cover open as if someone looked through my car for no service related reason.

What an experience. Alan and his team took absolute care of my needs for marine audio. I purchased my boat a few years ago and after dealing with audio issues for a few summers I finally decided to get it done right. I had called multiple times to ask questions about my car radio do to an attempted theft. They explained that it was broken, so after my insurance said pick a car audio shop I knew right were to go. Peter and Allen went above and beyond... more than just getting me a great stereo at a reasonable price, AND more than it being installed super well with no rattles and with molding that matches the line of my car interior... they let me borrow a car, for free, not once but twice without my even asking so I could keep running errands, AND they fixed the broken button on my window without even asking or mentioning it! I dont leave a ton of reviews, but its worth mentioning how good my experience was, and that I couldnt recommend them highly enough.

To their credit they have very friendly employees, but most of which were not wearing masks during the peak of the pandemic in Oregon.

Went down to Mobile West today because one of my front speakers quit working. Peter got me in right away. They were able to get it fixed at no charge. I was afraid I had blown a speaker. Turned out to be a corroded wire. Sounds good and ready to Rock and Roll. Big Thanks.

I have something weird going on with my car stereo system, and based on the reviews here I got in touch with Peter and accepted his invitation to bring my car in and have him take a look. Customer service was everything people described -- friendly, knowledgeable and up front about the (reasonable) cost of pursuing it further, since it wasnt the easy and obvious fix I had hoped it would be. I didnt do it today for my own cash flow reasons, but I wasnt the least bit embarrassed about that and Ill be back soon to have it fixed -- and back again later when Im looking for an upgrade!

I coordinated an appointment for a “simple” CarPlay factory upgrade for my car that Peter said his team routinely performed. Was quoted that the installation would take a few hours to complete, so I drop the car off 1st thing in the morning. After not hearing anything from Mobile West all day I decide to call 30 minutes before closing time in order to pick my car up and was told that it wasn’t ready due to unforeseen last minute issues prior to completion. I allow them to keep the car overnight. The next day, same thing, nothing heard all day, so I again inquire about my car, this time just showing up at the shop, and see the installers slacking off, eating snacks, and lounging around. I get told that they’re having problems getting the system to work and that they needed help from the manufacturer that happens to be from Australia and was already closed. Told me that I’d need to let them keep the car indefinitely until they heard back from the manufacturer which was unacceptable to me as I had a trip to take in my car the next day. They give me my car back and charge me $600 for labor performed on a system that doesn’t work in any capacity...from the CarPlay integration, touch screen, and the backup camera. Peter then says that when I reach my destination that he will personally coordinate with a shop there to complete the install and fix the issues “and will pay for all costs” but now Peter refuses to communicate with me at all. It’s been over a month (install was in January) and he still hasn’t returned my calls and messages. I finally took my car into a shop here in SoCal back in February and they had my car back to me in one hour with a system that works, without having to contact the manufacturer. Scam shop. Steer clear from here if you want the job done right.

Ive worked with Peter on systems for a few vehicles over the last many years. While there have been product and other minor issues, at the end of the day, they have been taken care of. My most recent experience went perfect. One thing has always been clear. Peter really wants his customers to be happy and he stands behind their work.

I came in with some upholstery work on my Subaru and this was a 10/10 experience for me. Peter is such a sweetheart. As a young woman I dont always get treated with respect or get taken seriously at auto shops. Peter gave me a very fair estimate (I received quotes from a few places,) and was able to schedule my service within the week. I dropped my car off after work (they are open until 6 PM which is a MAJOR selling point considering most places close at 5 PM) and Peter gave me a loaner car to use until my car was ready the next day. When I came to pick my car up I realized I forgot my debit card on my desk at work so Peter downloaded a mobile app just so I could transfer him the money I owed. Seriously - above and beyond service and my upholstery work is pristine.

My suburban’s alarm system was having problems and I called Mobile West. I explained what was goin on and they said bring it in today, anytime and we’ll fix. I pulled in around noon and noticed they had some other cars in the shop. Peter took my rig in immediately and within 10 mins I was on my way! The siren needed replacement and was under warranty so it didn’t cost me a thing. Peter couldn’t have been nicer and I could tell he truly values his customers. I’ve used MW for 20 years and wouldn’t think of calling another company.

Excellent overall experience. I knew the gear I wanted, and looked it up online for pricing. I emailed, told them what I wanted, and got a quick reply back. The quote didnt mark up the gear at all, and charged what I thought were reasonable fees for installation. When done, I got a good tutorial of the new fancy radio, and they connected my phone and set it up. Very pleased, and would be happy to recommend them.

Charged me a whole lot for not much work. 300 to remove my factory sub for “ventilation” when really they need to use that to wire my system (cheapo way) also put amp under my seat and can’t get to ANY controls it’s like they drilled through my car I literally can’t get it out. Guur. Good wires used though and nice sleeves. Who can we trust anymore. Never got my stock sub. No need to reply thanks

If youre actually serious about getting something that sounds good and chatting up some educated people who will actually give you solid answers about features vs sound quality this is the place to go. regardless of if youre a feature shopper or a sound quality shopper or maybe even a little of both; this is the place to go.

I was greeting and helped really quickly. The tech that installed my speakers and stereo was really friendly and the install was super fast. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need; I told the tech right up front exactly what I wanted and he didnt BS me.I will recommend them to everyone I know. After I bought my new WRX, I decided neither the standard nor upgrade stereo would do. I first patronized a local installer, and was disappointed with the results. Looked up online reputation of Mobile West, and was impressed, I drove 120 miles round trip to have them redo my system. First rate operation. Very knowledgeable, excellent equipment selection, great advice, good prices. They will do whatever it takes to make sure the install is correct. I am an audiophile, and the owner understands and appreciates good sound. Mobile West is more than just the typical boom boom custom car stereo installer. I was impressed that I saw the owner take lots of time to help customers buying much less expensive systems than mine, shows dedication to all buyers. My head unit developed a problem with the GPS after two weeks, and they replaced it with a new one, good support. highly recommended! Update: had problems again with the head unit a year after I bought it. They still completely stood behind it. This kind of customer support is almost impossible to find nowadays. Dont bother talking to anyone else, these guys are the real deal!

I had them install an after market keyless entry system. They told me that they would need it for 2 days which was fine. I asked for a ride home and they ended lending me their company smart car. 3 hours after I dropped it off they called letting me know it was ready for pick up. They really exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond.

Peter and the crew at Mobile West have done tons of work over the years on my beloved Subaru STI over the years. They are true sound and car lovers and have helped me create my dream ride. I try not to drive too much and add to Portland highway congestion. However when I do drive, I relish putting on some sweet tunes and taking in the amazing sound the team at Mobile West has created. They are creative and obsessive about things looking good and sounding great.

These guys are passionate about car audio & very personable. What prompted me to give a review is that there was a small oversight on their part, but when I notified them 3 weeks later the owner (Peter), was extremely quick to respond in correcting it. I think whether a business is good or not is most evident in how they handle any mishaps. MobileWest handled this one very well.

We just bought a new Nissan Truck from a local dealer. Part of the deal required that they install a hitch and electric brakes to haul a small travel trailer. I picked up the truck this AM and they installed the brake controller right where I asked them not too. They put it right where your right leg goes to work the gas and brake pedal. To top it off, my leg brushed against it, the controller fell off. They had installed it with 2 sided sticky tape under the dash! I was mad but done dealing with the dealership. So with the controller resting on my leg I Googled auto stereo install and Mobile West popped up. I took the vehicle there and in 30 minutes they had it securely and neatly tucked under the middle of the dash. They were quick, courteous and reasonably priced.

Steve, the manager of the shop is really helpful. Id ask for him if you want to be guaranteed a great experience. The one downside that keeps it from a 5-star is that my dash was cracked during installation of a vintage vehicle and the part is too expensive to repair.

Just added sound damping to my car and lemme tell ya - its literally music to my ears! SO much better. No crappy vibration in the doors, no more shouting at my friends over super loud road noise. Knowledgeable people who genuinely care about great customer service!

I own a 30 RV mobile home and needed a complete rework of the AV system. Since I had previously purchased two systems for other vehicles from Mobile West and was satisfied w/ price and service, I naturally returned to their store--a new and bigger showroom and larger installation space for their installers.I was happy with their problem-solving suggestions, products, price and availability.Totally happy...and happy to recommend Mobile West.

Peter really hooked us up, his knowledge and recommendations (without any pushy salesmanship towards high end stuff we didnt need) was very much appreciated. Also if you have munchkins and need to bring them with you during your install appointment, Mobile Wests upstairs lounge area is great with a TV, big couches, and plenty of room to play around...that was an unexpected bonus!

I asked for good and got great for the same price. The team over there knows their stuff, provided options, helped me stay in my budget and got me the right equipment for my vehicle. Everyone who sees my setup would swear it was factory... until they hear it.Dont pay the big-box stores to send their employees around in corporate jets. Buy local, get better service and pricing, and support the Portland economy. These guys deserve your business!

I read many reviews before visiting the shop and speaking with the owner, Peter. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We looked at a few options and found a nice set of speakers to upgrade my ride. Im happy with the sound, but unhappy that my passenger door handle was damaged during the install. The damage is very minor, but still, you dont want or expect the interior of your car to be damaged when simply swapping out speakers. This was a disappointment to an otherwise positive experience.

Mobile West did a great job tinting my van windows. I had never had any tinting done before and I wanted it done right the first time, so I read a ton of reviews online for places in Portland and Mobile West had the most (and best) reviews. I will go back to them with my next car.

Came to mobile west to get a hook up for my iPhone in my Honda Pilot. After talking with Peter I went with a usb hook up but had some problems with it weeks after installation. Peter had me come back in and within an hour the mobile west team installed a new set up while I relaxed on their couch upstairs. The technicians were excellent and Peters PR skills are phenomenal. You may pay a couple extra bucks here vs other places, but its well worth the quality and reassurance that youll get exactly what your looking for in the end.

Peter was great. One of the most knowledgeable music guys I have met. Showed me several options after hearing what it was that I wanted. I ended up replacing my stock radio with an upgrade to complement the very nice speakers I purchased. Overall, the experience was great and I was happy with the product. The installation of the components also went very well. The guys were very careful when removing and reinstalling parts of the dash and doors to get to the speakers and radio. No scratches, dents or loose parts. The installers ket the truck a bit longer to ensure the highest quality installation. Their hard work and expertise paid off since the system sounds beautiful. I am very happy with everything.

I can honestly say that I wish I could leave this place more stars. Is 5 all there is? Anyway, I had never been to this place or even heard of it. I called them up New Years Day, expecting them to be closed. I dont get an answer, so I hang up. The owner calls me right back and apologized for missing the call. I ended up taking my car in that day and getting my car serviced with what I need. It was fast and professionally done.Honestly, if someone had asked me to Design your perfect experience from a shop like this, Peter surpassed what I would have expected Perfect Service to be. It is rare to find a business that actually treats customers the way we all wanted to be treated.Anyone that has had a bad experience here... I honestly feel like its in your head. If you cant be happy with the service at this place, then nothing will make you happy.

Mobile West did a really clean, nice job on my touch screen receiver and speakers. Now my 13-year-old car has most of the features youd want from a new car. I definitely recommend the door-dampening treatment, which provide rich loud bass without the rattle. Some day when I get a new car, Ill order it with the base stereo package and then take it to Mobile West to get it done right.

Top notch gear, top notch crew. Cheapest no, most expensive no, best YES! That equals value in my book. You want it done right the first time Mobile West is the place. There are plenty of other places willing to take your money and hack something in, I learned that the hard way!

I went in for a $2000 stereo. Alpine re style. Lost alot of features from my stock stereo... interface isnt there yet. Okay I can deal with that not happy but okay. Replaced stock speakers and sealed doors to help with bass and rattles. Sounds terrible $400 speakers..... and $100 per door to seal them. Im removing new and replacing with my original speakers now. Reverse camera integration. Works most of the time when vehicle goes into reverse. It rained today.... no more reverse camera..... really really annoying to have to go and complete/waterproof their work. The maestro link module to make the truck and the stereo communicate was flashed improperly and has extra option that when I called alpine they were very confused. They actually told me to take it back and have that shop call them. I live in the country about two hours away from the shop. Not an afternoon I want to spend again. I think I could do a more thorough job and I do asphalt for a living. Lesson learned. Sounds Unique is who will be fixing the maestro. Peter is a nice guy and they openly said they only installed one other of these systems. They had an extra three days to read up or study anything about the stereo because my original appointment was canceled because the stereo hadnt been delivered. So there is that to.

I went with Car Stereo City near Mall 205 when I had my first car stereo installed. It cost twice as much and took forever to install. Time and money are two factors to consider for car installation but when it comes to the overall quality of the sound that is the reason for all other expenditures. Mobile West installed and tuned the deck of my choice so that it sounded much better than the system I had previously installed before at much higher cost. Now I want to have the companion amp but since the deck installation was so high quality I can put it off for a while. Ill be back soon for the icing on the cake.

UPDATE: Just went back to Mobile West, their new location is bigger, better and has its own parking! Peter was able to reset my stereo after it stopped working out of the blue, we thought it was a blown fuse. Anyhow, he took care of it free of charge. Yay for tunes :DEARLIER: Mobile West installed an amp and it was a great experience. They had a loaner car so I was able to work and come back. They were quick with the install and now the sound is 10x better!! I notice it daily on my commutes. One thing, I really liked was how they gave different options on improving sound. Allowing me to choose the quote to fit my budget. Thanks Mobile West!

I brought my 2004 Acura TL into the shop because the stereo stopped working and I intend to keep my car (the dealership where I have it routinely serviced told me they no longer stock parts for that year.) At first, I was surprised by the options but did choose the most expensive one offered, with high hopes. At first there was some misunderstanding (perhaps on my part) about what I wanted to achieve and what I expected. But Mobile West was patient and worked with me to assure that I ultimately got what I was hoping to achieve: great sound, easy to use, works seamlessly with my iPhone (which, by the way, I upgraded between the time I first had Mobile West install the stereo and do rewiring and now), fast, just great. I lost no capabilities and gained a ton back. While the bill (which was exactly what they told me it would be) was certainly not “cheap” (and they did provide 2 other less expensive options), I felt the service - and results - were superior. Mobil West is among the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Peter Clover and Matt are exceedingly helpful without trying to oversell you on stuff you dont need or want. I have been there three times now, and each visit leaves me more and more impressed.Yes, you may be able to find hardware cheaper on the web by a few bucks. But, what you wont get by doing that is Peter sitting in your car with you and personally tuning your head unit with crossover points, slope angles and overall system optimization. On my last visit I did an Alpine hu upgrade. Peter spent an hour in my car tuning three different listening curves which he then preset into my system. The difference was pretty much mind blowing vs just putting the pieces in the car and calling it good. Want to trade in your gear that you bought from him previously to upgrade and get a very fair trade in value? Yep, he does that too.Mobil West seems to delight in putting together the best possible system given the budget you tell them to stay within--no up-selling.Im impressed, and a big fan of MobilWest, which is why I drive over an hour each way to their shop.

I have read some of the lower rated reviews and cant really understand them. I suspect there are some people you just cant make happy. I brought in my Acura MDX to have a custom stereo installed. I have loved car stereos since I was 15 years old (mid 40s now) and have been to many many shops over the years. Peter, the owner, spent close to an hour showing me different options and giving me ideas about what I could do. He answered every question I had and entertained every idea I brought up. He know music, he knows good sound, and he is great at what he does. I could not be happier with the stereo they did in my car. Its the nicest sounding system I have ever had in the 30 years I have been buying car stereos. Period. Not only does it sound great, but the install is beautiful. Kevin, the installer, did a fantastic job and also took time to talk with me and find out what was important to me in my stereo. I had them remove my 3rd row to make room for the sub box and amps. I wanted to make sure you could not tell there was a stereo in the back and they did just that. If you are passionate about beautiful clean sound, this is the place for you.

I purchased a set of speakers from Mobile West I mentioned in passing that I didnt really like the sound, and I felt the Alpines sounded better (speakers are very personal) Peter, and Matt both said bring them back and well get you something you like.This Is True customer service!Thanks Guys You Rock!

Got a new stereo here. I didn’t think I needed Bluetooth so I didn’t pay for the install of the microphone but they did it for me for free anyway! Fast service.

I have used this business twice in the past the first time to get keyless entry installed in my car. The second was to get my aux port replaced and an interior lock button for my keyless entry I had installed prior. These people are amazing! Owner was so annoying Ill never go back. He was very loud and in your face. He swore more than any normal human should and wouldnt just help me with what I wanted.I ask about tinting the windows on my car and he spent 20 minutes talking about the overpriced show stereo in the ancient Mercedes in the show room. I tried several times to get him back on topic but he would not stop talking about that stupid Mercedes. Final got a ballpark quote out of him 20 minutes after we started talking. Not a real quote, just About $350. I also wanted a quote on a new head unit and installation for said unit. That took another 40 minutes as he showed me a ton of stuff I didnt ask for. When he finally got me a quote he had added door dampening, amps, speakers and a sub to the quote. None of which I asked for (everything was broken out into subtotals but thats not the point; its not what I asked for).Total used car sales man.If ANYONE but this guy (the owner) had helped me I would probably be buying a stereo from Mobil West. He was so annoying to talk to, he swore constantly, and tried so hard to convince me his shop was cool and that he was a genius that Ill never go back.

As a business owner who needs reliable audio equipment installations, i would say there are no better options in Portland. Go there first! I entrust these guys with all of my custom audio needs!

These guys are great, I got two 10 Alpine subs put in a couple months ago and they sound amazing. The subs stopped working on me and Mobile West took the time to fix them for me free of charge! I will never get audio work done anywhere else.

Great experience Peter and his techs fixed the shoddy aftermarket car alarm that was draining my battery. Installed a new alarm for me and didnt charge for the trouble shooting! great shop and great service!

Great staff helped me find what I needed and diagnose why it didnt work after I installed it my self. I also ran into an old friend while I was here.

I recently had a BlackVue dashboard camera and an automatic/remote starter installed in my car. They quoted me an honest price and finished the job faster than I expected. The only issue is that some employees didnt seem that confident when talking with customers. Maybe they were not familiar with the products. The employee (manager?), Peter, who helped me seems to blow the other employees out of the water. He knows a ton and is very friendly. If all the other employees could perform at his level they would get 5 stars.

Not the cheapest just the best. You get what you pay for and you will get your moneys worth here. Fantastic service. I would go no where else.

Went there to score a used stereo to plug my iphone into and get some sound back in my car. They found a great little unit a previous owner traded in, and within 15 minutes it was in my car rocking!highly recommend.

I discovered too late that the my 2019 Tacoma came with the tragic train wreck that is Toyota Entune. I decided to get a stereo that I actually enjoyed using and went to Mobile West. They had one that would work and would use CarPlay so that I actually had functionality that functioned. They were efficient and friendly and sold me exactly what I wanted, then installed it - all for less than I had just wasted on that damn Entune failure. It all connects to my steering wheel buttons and now my stereo makes enough sound to actually hear it while driving with the windows down. Toyota Entune - 0 stars, Mobile West - 5 stars.

Amazing Stereo !!!Ive been dealing with Mobile West for years with great results. But this time I took my car in and asked Pete to put together a complete stereo for my car and WOW ! did he ever. Head unit with car-play, Navi, HD radio and all Hertz speakers Amp and all of the other goodies. It is the best sounding stereo system that I have ever had. There was also problems with my car and Pete and all of the guys got together and found the problem and fixed it for me. I highly recommend going to these guys anytime you need something audio related done to your car, big or small! I needed someone to simply disconnect my aftermarket stereo so my car could pass DEQ inspection. The dealership was going to charge me a bunch of money so I called Mobile West just to see if they would do it for less. I brought my car in and not only did they remove the stereo for free, they also put it back in for no charge after my car passed. This was seriously too nice and I will definitely be back any time I need them to do something and hopefully they will let me pay them next time! :) I also love how willing they are to explain things about audio and cars to me because Im not so great with that stuff. I got a good lesson on why my specific VW Golf was in a small set of 3 model years that is unable to communicate with the DEQ device if a non factory stereo is installed. Thanks a bunch!

Got to the store today spend some $$$$ and tomorrow will have my new system these guys where reliably fast and had my info when i called to have an idea made and they even had that suggested so they are the smarts I am happy. will upload pictures to this post when available.
