I went to buy a refrigerator for my daughter and walked in right after the delivery of merchandise. Jerry helped us and sold us a new Kenmore that was a great price. Very knowledgeable, and great salesman, got us into a 50 dollars down and delivered it two days later. Only after did i find out he was the store manager. Great service
It was good. Weve been doing business here for many years. Mostly scratch and dent.Fair amount of choices. Some good buys, but not all prices are deeply discounted?Saw some beds today that Id like to go back for. Very good price!
I found a 27 inch drop-in range online at this location and attempted to purchase it through the website, but the web form would not accept my order for either deliver or pick-up. So I called the store and offered to pay over the phone and pick it up the next day. The salesperson said there was no need, and I could just pay for it when I came in. I said that I wouldnt be able to come in until between 6-8 PM the next day and he said that was fine and he would place a hold on it so it wouldnt be sold. The next day, my wife and I drove 47 minutes to the store and arrived at 7:15 to find out the range had been sold that day... I couldnt believe it. The salesperson at the store said, it wasnt our (the customers) fault but offered no remedy. This was frustrating and a waste of time. Based on my experience, I advise against using this company.
They send you ads that look good. But everything in the ads, the low priced items are practically non existent. The person who tried to help me actually told me that is the way to get people to go in and then sell them more expensive items. Dont fall for it!
Unfortunately this location is currently closed so I wasnt able to look for the items Id seen in their flyer. The Clackamas store is open however.
Great experience, low prices and low pressure. They explained everything, pros and cons, and we saved almost $1000 buying a washing machine and wall oven. Highly recommend checking them out. Inventory changes regularly, so check back as needed or be flexible with models and youll do well there.
The store has great selections and is looking better than the last time I was here. Lots of furniture, but a little light on appliances, The manager told me they get some more supply on thursday, will be back for sure. Lots of great deals.
We visited the Portland store last this month. My husband bought a washer and dryer for our new home. Our sales person hooked us up with a great promotion which allowed us to buy more than we thought we were able to.
Mitchell was exceptionally knowledgeable as he eased me through different options for a dryer and refrigerator. I spoke to him previously on the phone so I knew Id be taken care of in the store. He also sent me the information I was looking for. Over the top customer service. Worth the drive. Thank you!
Visited the store a few days ago. Great prices and friendly staff. Just wish they had some freezers.
Visited the store with my elderly mother. She was looking for a smaller ADA appliance. Thankfully we found exactly what we wanted with the help of an excellent sales staff.
The gentleman that helped us was also the person covering loading, was fantastic and we enjoyed very 1st rate Service.....the only issue was the other employees never once asked us if we needed anything or greeted us being in the store for 45 minutes to an hour. Even though spending $300. On items,.The employees working on January 11th really need some retraining. With the exception of the gentleman that was handling Customer loading and stock room should be give a employee greatness in customer service and being most professional employee working, my thanks to you Sir....I have been shopping there since store opened many years ago. Will be returning to the store on Sunday morning to purchase a new mattress and other things.
If I could give more stars for Maya I would definitely give wayyy more ! She was amazing and super helpful. Very motivated to help my fiancé find the right furniture for our new place ! She even helped us with places to go in Portland since we are brand new to Portland ! Thank you Maya ! Another associate that was super helpful and motivated was Paige. She helped us out while maya helped us. We got the total package here at American Freight. And our bed is AMAZING !!! Thank you Guys will be returning ! ♥️🤞🏽
I went in to the store and Dennis answered all of my questions with the utmost of patients (I had a lot of questions). I appreciate everyones time and patience and I will definitely come back the next time I need an appliance!
Dennis helped us get set up with a new refrigerator and delivery / pick up service. Great to work with. Very satisfied with the experience.
They have such amazing deals its hard to leave without getting exactly what youre looking for. Some of the items have small blemishes but work and function without any problems. This is a great place with very affordable prices.
This store has a very helpful, willing, friendly and well informed staff. Each time I arrive, Im welcomed and asked if I need any help. Each staff member has knowledge of the stock and the specifics of the appliances. Even if youre just doing research on appliances, head to this specific store and they will help guide you in your research. Equally as helpful and fantastic is the loading and warehouse staff. They had my items loaded in my rented van in a quick, efficient and safe manner. I couldnt have asked for a better process from start to finish! Thank you to the staff in this store for their hard work and exceptional service.
Page and maya were amazing helped us out alot we will be back for that laz e boy and thank you for the lake list Maya your are amazing and very nice btw gorgeous glasses
Mitch ROCKS! He is so helpful and the rest of the team is also wonderful. We are so happy to do biz with them and highly recommend this store!
Good prices but your rolling the dice. I did buy there, its definitely an outlet experience. Delivery with removal of a fridge from the second floor should be worth every penny though.
Bought a new couch here. Avery helped us out. He was super helpful and chill even though we made things a little difficult. Delivery went great and we are super happy with our new sectional.
Great location. Knowledgeable sales staff. Just stay away from the other customers if they are buying things for their rental properties. My third time in looking at washers and they are so nasty each visit. Even with those distractions I am happy that I have been approved for $2000 with no credit check to buy my new washer. Now I just have to decide if I want to replace my dryer too.
Store is looking better every time I go in. Will continue to shop where!
My husband and I received wonderful customer service from all of the staff members on site today, especially Jake who took care of us from greeting to loading the product. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and worked with us through the sale without feeling pressure to buy from their location. I greatly appreciate their honesty and placing the customer first. This store has a decent selection of appliances if youre looking for a bargain without great compromise. I will be heading back here for our next upgrades!
Great customer service. The staff was very knowledgeable. I will definitely return for future purchases.
We were so surprised by the great deals and Dennis really helped us find everything that worked the space we have as well as the additional hardware we needed for the dryer installation. :)
The Sears Outlook is located next to a Kmart that was shutting down. this was a wide-open shop for lots of appliances and other things. if you are in the market for buying a reconditioned and or new appliance this is the place to go. Staff was very helpful was there when we need them and disappeared when we didnt need them. The one question of course is it will Sears be around to fulfill all their warranties.
Has an assortment of odds and ends. They have some beds, couches, sectionals, dining sets, outdoor patio furniture, riding lawn mowers, refrigerators, washer & dryer sets, stoves, microwaves, and all of those you can get on a rent-to-own basis. They have some bedding sets that are fairly cheap, some dishes in a box, a couple pots and pans sets, and many other things. There is a lot of random stuff. You never know what youll find in there, and everything is very well priced.
Spend your money elsewhere. Home Depot provides better service. I WILL NOT be returning to their store. We purchased two recliners from them that had to be ordered. Turns out the lady who ordered them “ordered them to the wrong company” and no one caught it and no one ordered them correctly to fix her mistake until after I showed up to pick up my items, that I called in advance to make sure they were there. (Keep in mind I was told they were there over the phone). After driving 40 miles to go pick up my items I was greeted by two friendly men working in the back who politely told me my items were not there. The two gentlemen understood my frustration and assured me their managers would take care of the situation. A week later I call and only one of my items is there when I was promised both. I requested my money and plan to take it else where. I’d highly recommend saving yourself the hassle and headache. Worst customer service I’ve EVER received from a manager in my entire life.
Very misleading. Appliances were dented and dirty. The staff was super friendly though!
My husband and I had a great experience here when buying a refrigerator! The sales rep (I dont know his name) was so helpful, considerate, and thorough. He quickly got us through the process of buying the appliance and everything went smoothly. The employee who helped us load the fridge into our vehicle was also friendly and helpful. We would come back here again.
We were recently in the need for a better refrigerator. Without spending retail we decided to visit this year is outlet center on 122nd.Mitch was very helpful in guiding us into a refrigerator that will be ideal for us and of very good value! A modest delivery charge and Mitch also helped us to buy an extended warranty. I would highly recommend Sears outlet to anyone looking for high-quality appliances but at prices significantly below retail.
I always enjoy shopping here, especially if Im looking for household appliances. Great prices, and a lot of the time, you have difficulty spotting where any of the damages may be. Most of what they sell here, would be considered scratch and dent. The warranties are still full warranties, but you can get items upwards to 50% off the regular store prices.
Super helpful staff, friendly answered all of my questions. Store was very busy they did their best on a busy sunny Saturday to take care of everyone. Gave me several options to choose from and lots of good information. They have a lot of inventory good selection of scratch and dent items at huge discounts. Felicia helped me with the sale and she was fantastic. She was very busy helping customers and answering questions from other sales associates. Yes I did end up buying a Mattress and Box spring here (Beauty Rest with Eruo Pillow top), very happy with my purchase. List on Mattress was over 3200.00 got it for 70% off.
Always a good value if you know what youre looking for and thoroughly inspect what youre getting. The extended warranty sales pitch is the biggest downside if you buy in-store instead of online. Ive furnished many rental / investment properties through Sears Outlet.
SUPERB experience! Jean is an amazing salesperson. This refrigerator was a big investment for us, and she was helpful, honest and very patient with all my questions. I could NOT be happier.
For an outlet store its not all that bad and the customer service was actually okay. I went there to go ahead and take a look at some items and actually have a pretty good selection of stuff. there used to be a Kmart next door but that place is all boarded up and basically looking like its about to die
Great service, Mitch the new manager was extremely helpful and kind. Great prices and products as well!
This store provided the very worst customer experience I have had for years. We purchased a clothes washer and dishwasher. First, the promise that the delivery service would call the day before the scheduled delivery day (to give us a two hour window) was never kept. In fact, the Sears toll free delivery information number, listed on the paperwork, was completely useless as they cannot track deliveries from _local_stores_! They kept referring me to the outlet where we bought it, but even though theres a 9:00am opening time listed on the web, even Sears customer service couldnt contact the store until almost 10:00.Consequently, I couldnt let my manager know when I had to leave work to meet the truck. This was very hard on my co-workers and did not help my workplace reputation.Once Sears customer service reached the store, a 4pm to 6pm delivery window was set. The truck arrived right at 6:00, but they did not have the parts to install the washer. It required a special drain hose, which should have, according to the documents, been included with the washer. So despite the $110 delivery, installation and haul-away fees we paid, the installation was incomplete. We went back to the Sears outlet with our complaint. However, they did not have the hose in stock, they offered no replacement, nor remedy. Their contention was that the fees we paid were for delivery only and the installation was free, so they couldnt refund any of the installation fee. They virtually told us that it was now our problem. We had no choice but to chase down the propitiatory drain hose.We will never purchase anything from Sears again. There are so many other companies who understand that when a thing is promised, like a schedule confirmation or an installation, that they need to keep their promise. Sears, however, doesnt understand that, apparently.
My husband and I bought a Samsung dryer from this location. We were skeptical because its a outlet but we decided for the price to go for it. We bought the dryer, got it home and hooked up and started it. It made an awful clanking noise. We called the store and let them know what was happening. After a call to a repair man, and a call back to the store they told us to just bring it back and they would replace it with a new one. We got the new dryer hooked up and it worked well for a month and 5 days. Then it kept tripping our breaker. We got the breaker fuse replace thinking it was that but it didnt fix the problem. We called the repair people on our receipt but because it had been 5 days over the 30 days they would not do anything for us. We ended up having to call a repair man ourselves. He came out and it turns out the heating element. I wrote an upset review and we got a call from the store manager. I dont know why we didnt think to call the store directly. Sears Outlet ended up paying for the entire repair costs!! Everyone we have dealt with has been so nice a helpful to work with, and we really appreciate the service!
The staff was so nice i came in having a bad day and they were able to help get me sorted, thanks guys
This is a great store to buy good appliances at a discounted price. Excellent deals on quality products.Customer service, whether over the phone or in person, is fantastic. My only gripe is that you sometimes have to wait a bit to get service. However, this service issue has nothing to do with the quality of staff (hence why I still give 5*). Rather, it’s due to not enough staff members being employed there. Whenever I’m there, every employee is working hard to help customers...no one is loafing around. In particular, Mitch and Cora were awesome! Thanks Sears Outlet!
I went to this store with my husband and Lynn was very outgoing and nice to us. I also really appreciate the customer service that I received because it was very helpful.
Thomas provided us unparalleled customer service when purchasing our refrigerator and range. These were long awaited purchases for our family. We had a really unfortunate customer service experience with Home Depot and because of Thomas, it all ended up working out for the best and we were beyond thrilled with our appliances. Thomas was professional, knowledgeable, responsive and personable. He obviously has a wonderful working rapport with his employees and his dedication to providing the best possible experience for his customers was evident at every step. Needless to say, all of our future home purchases will be with Sears Outlet!
This location is shut down do not drive there.
Thomas, Violetta, and Tray were awesome, extremely helpful, I am grateful for the time they took with me and their service was top notch. If there is anyway to reward them, please do. He is a great Manager, she is a great sales associate, and Tray was awesome helping me as well.
Staff was very helpful in getting me the stuff i came in looking for so i decided to leave a nice review since they asked
While its dead, Lampert the lamprey sucks the last out of sears. STAFF ARE GREAT! Very helpful and professional. The people of Sears deserve better. A multimillion purchase of craftsman hammers and a few minutes with the millions of dollar bonus sucking managment might reset the justice meter. Would have helped Enrons managers too.
Great customer service. We had a problem with her stove and they took care of it no problem. In fact even though we were close to our 30-day they said take the stove home until we get your replacement and then you can come pick it up, even though its past 30 day when we return.
My contractor recommended I get my appliances here. Betty was super helpful as I looked over the possible washers and dryers. She advised me on all of my connections and set me up with a $200 warranty plan for the washer. Then I was really sad when I saw I could get a new washer/dryer from Best Buy for about the same but with no $99 delivery fee and a $75 warranty - I mentioned all of this in Sears follow-up survey. I almost immediately was contacted by Andrew who refunded me $250 - awesome. Plus I ended up not needing the dryer exhaust, took it back into the store, and they refunded me that amount.
Friendly staff, good prices on scratch dent products.
Worked with a Sears person today. Probably one of the greatest person to work with at the store! If you need help or need anything ask for Lynn Sipe!!! A company like Sears is lucky to have someone like that working for them!!! 👍👍
Found well made recliners here for a great price, very happy
Average appliance prices youll find elsewhere. Some good smaller items prices worth looking at like discounted outdoor propane grills
Friendly service. Fast. Had exactly what i wanted.
Avery Helped me out was so nice i wrote a review for him
If you know what youre looking for This is a great place. Dont expect a lot of great customer service.
Came in with a bunch of questions and the staff was able to answer all of them, very helpful to me, thanks guys
Well, they tried hard...said that pedestal would fit all washers. Not so. Hopefully get that money back. Good prices.
Sears Outlet is the first and last place I shop anytime I need an appliance. Mitch and his team have been saving me money for years because I work with multiple small businesses and Im the family handyman - I have never had an issue with any of the dozen or so appliances Ive bought. Now that the suns out and Im looking to get a barbecue, I know where Im gonna go for great service!
I paid for a washer and a dryer and received 2 dryers. I live 40 minutes away. I spoke with Chris on the phone and he said he would give me a washer in exchange. I grave him the item number of the specific washer over the phone. He said that would work perfect well just do a straight across traid. I drove 40 minutes and when i got here he showed me a different washer and said he wouldnt do the one we had agreed on.they were great up until this point and i will never shop here again.
Good price and very helpful staff . Bought a range. Wrapped up and loaded within 15 minutes. Quick and easy.
A little pricey but fun to look around
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! And whatever you do STAY CLEAR OF THE “WHY NOT LEASE IT” program, I will tell you WHY NOT!They paint you a really pretty picture in store and make it seem like this is a totally affordable way to purchase appliances.Wrong its a glorified rental program they tell you what a great price they can give you on these brand new appliances and your bi weekly payment is affordable it appears everythings great until you het to the end of your lease and you find out the REAL TRUTH.Your biweekly payment is nothing more then you paying why not lease it rent for your appliances. Im not exaggerating when I say less then 5% of your payment goes towards your payoff. You are literally just paying them hundreds to have them in your house!!!So for anyone using this as a way to make payments on something they intend to own they leave that little bit out in the store so you feel like you are paying toward your payoff when you are in fact just paying them rent.Your purchase price means absolutely nothing except the minimum you have to pay them during the lease. When you get to the end of the lease your purchase price will be about the same as your original purchase.Really shady dishonest smile in your face while screwing you over type of business this place will never see another penny from me and my family and I hope someone reads this and realizes I am not just a disgruntled unhappy customer I really want other people to not make the same mistake with their hard earned money.Wish I could leave negative stars.
The people here were very nice and helped me carry my items to my van
Good price on the appliance I bought and they even offered delivery
My experience at this store was horrible. I was helped by the so called Manager whom had a poor girl come back and forth from her office. I ordered a sofa the second week of December, I got the sofa the second week of January. The sofa was the wrong color and had a hide a bed that made sitting on the sofa extremely uncomfortable. I had to go in the store because I never had a person answer the phone and could not leave a message. Because my account was after the 30 days return policy Cora the Manager declined helping at all. Like I mentioned she didnt even come out her office to speak to me about my problem. Once I asked to personally speak to her she was very determined to not help me at all, until I told her how patient I was in waiting for the sofa one whole month and felt I at least should get what I ordered!!! she looked at my receipt and realize she personally ordered the wrong one and than agreed to exchange the sofa. Bottom line is Cora didnt care of how things happened, how disappointed I was with this situation. The only reason she changed her mind was because she realized she screwed up my order herself. I will never go back there again. Cora is not there for customers at all.
I purchased a fridge in Oct of last year was told by the manager after I made a $300 down payment that I would only have 5 payments and fridge would be paid off, found out after 6th payment that was not the truth had to make a lump sum payment of $180 meaning I paid over $700 for a $400 fridge, so I took that hit for not reading the contract & taking manager word. I decided to give another chance and purchase a freezer paid for delivery never told I had to pay extra to have old one hauled away, called store to verify delivery&haul only to be told o f additional charge, had to go in store to make payment even though I was home with pneumonia, this will be my last purchase also manager was not very nice either on the phone.
Very competitive prices and a knowledgeable staff. Overall seems like a very well run outlet.
Very nice people work here, and made it very easy to get the help i needed
Good place to save on large appliances if you dont mind a few scratches and or dents.
Ran to the Sears Outlet to purchase 2 refrigerators for an elementary school. This was our 1st stop, & sure enough, they had exactly what we needed! Mitch was a huge help! We bought our personal fridge here years ago, & it was reassuring to see that both the selection & service are still top notch!
My only gripe is that I do not know what to do with all the money I just saved. Shout out to Dennis for not letting me buy a refrigerator that would not fit in my kitchen. Now I have a new refrigerator and five years of no stress with my sears guarantee.
I came in a couple days ago trying to buy an appliance and the manger was so nice helping find the prices and helping me out to the car, such a nice lady
Selection looked good at first. The scratch and dents were on the heavy side and the mark downs a joke. The original prices were not believable and we found and original price on two dishwashers of the same make and model to be priced differently so the more dinged one would be a lower asking price. So overpriced....we went down the road a bit to Kaadys and got a dinged appliance for the price of a dinged appliance not the price of a new one.
I purchased a recliner at this store. It was a good steal, and I was a happy camper. Once opened the box, there was a visible scratch on the back head rest. I tried to call the store to ask if I could just bring in that piece instead of the whole recliner itself (the thing is heavy and placing everything in the box is a hassle!) Nobody picked up the phone and the system was set up, sothat it would “exit out” after 4-5 rings. I decided to only bring in the head piece with the hope that I could exchange that piece only. Once I stepped in the store, there was two people at the register and right next to the phone!?!?? I told them my problem and they said they won’t be able to accept just the head piece. They need everything in the box. The concern is what if I take home the new box just to find out that there’s a scratch again on either piece. It makes no sense. The cashier gave us permission to open the boxes to check for defective items. The reclincer IS heavy and the box IS big. There was NO assistance from any of the store employee while we look through the boxes. Black Friday is a busy time, but the store should HIRE more employees to make sure that they can/will offer customer satisfaction. This is not our fault to start with. I don’t recommend this store to anyone based on the fact that they do not value their customers. Highly disappointed. The experience totally ruined my day.
The prices here are great I saved 50%!
I didnt know they were still open but everyone was friendly and helpful.
Some good deals if scratch and dent are ok.
Friendly and helpful with great prices, will definitely be back
They had an issue with UPS software (not their fault) and my shipment got held up. I got through to the shipping manager and she put my shipment on her personal credit card just to get it out to me! Wow. Even people at small companies wont do that. I was really impressed.
Went in to get a toolbox for my Dad’s birthday, Larry was a super helpful and had great customer service.
Great Prices and nice staff
They sold me a kayak online took the money out of my bank account and when I called the store to go pick it up the guy said that the kayak didnt exist. That it gets sold all the time but it does not exist. He said he cancelled my order but they still have my money!! SCAM!!
My second time shopping here. They always help me find what I need. Ask for Dennis he will take care of you.
Great deals and always greeted with smiles, highly recommended
Went to get a dishwasher was not impressed by this places inventory what we saw online they didnt have at the store, they have all appliances and some furniture.
Store Manager Falica was wonderful. Very helpful and went above and beyond for us. Thanks for the great service.
Nice furniture for a good price
Great prices & excellent customer service. Items have some blemishes but are brand new in most cases.
Excellent customer service! They took me right to what I was looking for. Very friendly staff.
I purchased a washer and dryer online and had them delivered to the outlet at no charge. There was some minor confusion with the order because the units came from different locations but all in all a good experience.
I went early and it wasnt that busy and was able to get helped fast by the nice people working there
If you want a headache, go here!We bought a washer and dryer at the end of Feb 2016 from this store. The associate actually said, Every item in this store is a piece of junk! I should have left then....I actually bought the items. I picked them up, and the associate wrapped them in about 1000 feet of plastic wrap. When we got home, we were missing the start knob on the dryer. Ive made several phone calls, resulting in NOTHING and then told that I had to PAY their exorbitant service fee to have a technician to come out to my house to fix their mistake! Oh, and power cords arent included in the price of the sale?!?! Now, I have a $500 dryer as a paper weight that I cant do anything with! Their manager, Adam, is a joke. No help whatsoever. In fact, Im not sure how hes managed to keep his job with what little he does.Drive down 1 mile to get good customer service at DeWitts. They have a open box warehouse behind their store where the appliances look better (my dryer has a dent that is about the size of a New York City pothole).SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!Their 5 star reviews are probably from their store manager Adam trying, in vain, to earn his salary.
Friendly helpful people. Saved a lot on a scratch and dented washer, that once its installed wont show any of its blemishes.
Store is clean and has a decent variety of items. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Ruthema was very nice and helped me a bunch
Very friendly and willing to help you find what you need. Even if you need to order online.
