Pleasant to work with an answered all of my questions. This auto body shop has a strong commitment to service and customer satisfaction. When repairs are completed, you can never tell that you were in an accident and they warranty their work! I am delighted with the results and I highly recommend!
Chose to have my cracked windshield on my new Jeep replaced based on previous, positive Luther experience and Luther has lost a customer for life. After the windshield was replaced, there was excessive adhesive on the inside window and two small chips in the paint along the glass. Todd, the supervisor, said no way they could have chipped the paint, but did agree the adhesive was an issue that needed to be addressed. Dropped it off for second repair to have the adhesive taken care of, which required removing the windshield again. Second repair was completed and there is a chip in glass, the gasket along the bottom outside windshield is pushed and there are new scratches in the paint along the bottom of the windshield. Called and was told once again there was no way they could have done this. Super disappointed at lack of ownership for damages...especially when they admitted taking it for a drive after repair to test the adaptive cruise control.
It all started out so okay then not so greatThis place seemed like a good idea at first. They were very courteous and it would do the repairs in a quick turnaround. Then we needed to bring it back as it was leaking antifreeze. They did repair it And things seem to be okay. Hey mistakes happen so I get it. As it was under that lifetime warranty so I didnt need to worry. Then the front bumper was starting to sag, about 4 years later. WE brought it in to see if they could tighten it up. As they guaranteed their work I didnt feel like they would be any problems.Just today....When we arrived a man came out and looked at the bumper. So far great on the phone easy to schedule a time to get in and he came out quickly. Then he looked at my bumper. In about 30 seconds my wife and I were told that those two scratches on the bumper meant it was in an accident and they did not need to cover it under their warranty. he did this so quick and smooth it was like it was his job. I told him theres no way for him to know there was an accident by looking at that and also we had no knowledge of any accident happening after they had done the repair. I asked if there was a chance the repair was not done correctly so over time it sagged, he said no. I said is there a chance that it was some rocks that bounced up and scraped the bumper since its 4 years old, he said no its not able to get those type of scrape marks. I thought it a little weird that there was no chance that the repair was not done correctly but the accident definitely happened.Since there is no recourse or convincing him otherwise Im feeling quite exasperated I realized that all they have to tell you is you got have scratches on something and they dont have to be responsible for repairing that body work. Well played Luther collision and Glass. You get to have a nice fancy warranty and not often pay out on it. Maybe Im taking this too hard but it feels wrong. I have attached pictures below to let you all be the judge.Overall I would NEVER recommend them to any if you need to ever bring it back to have anything fixed. In my opinion the business practices show it does not care about the customer once they get your money after maybe a few months. But if you want a guy who can read the absolute past by looking at a bumper give it a shot! Its really mystifying. I did tell him that I would leave a review not recommending them to so they are fully aware.

I live out of state and had to have my truck towed to a collision center for repairs. There was so much damage, I wasnt sure if it was worth it to repair. I had it towed to Luther Collision and talked with Rachel about assessing the damage for repairs. She was very helpful and easy to work with and very honest. She gave me several options to help decrease the cost of repairs, but it would still be more than the truck was worth. She gave me several days to make my decision with no pressure and she assured me that she was here to support me as her customer with whatever I decided to do. I made the decision to junk the truck and gave them her contact info and she worked with them to haul off the truck. She was a gem and Im very grateful for her support. Luther Collision didnt charge me a cent for all the effort they took to get my truck running and assess the damages. They are professional, honest, and family oriented folks. Thank you to the people at Luthers for all you do. 100% satisfied customer.
We recently had a chip repaired on our VW Atlas windshield on 8/13/2020. Following the repairs, we noticed that the chip was still very noticeable and seemed to continue cracking so we called Luther back as we assumed they forgot to fix it (picture attached of chip after the repair was done). Luther sent a tech over to verify on it, and the tech confirmed work was done as he could see that resin had been applied, but confirmed that the job was poorly done. He confirmed it couldnt be fixed since resin had already been applied, and that the only option at this point would be a windshield replacement. We called Luther and voiced our frustration as this would cost us $500 deductible to replace, but they were not willing to take ownership of it. Due to this, we are not forced to have to pay $500 out of our pocket to fix their poor workmanship. Very disappointing situation.
Return customer and very pleased with their work and turn around time. Understandably it took a number of weeks to get an appointment but once scheduled it was pretty quick. They are a 5-star company yet this visit is a 3-star due to the picture below. I was told it would be an extra day because the car got dusty and dirty from the shop. They were going to get it all clean and this is what I got. Why they needed to access the spare tire for a bumper repair and not clean the car has left me stumped. I will be back but will be inspecting the car before I leave and insist in a thorough cleaning.
After this place took my car for 2 weeks my car looked like this. My bumper color was OBVIOUSLY incorrect, they should be embarrassed. I worked with Bryan and he was horrible at communicating. I had to call him every day (other day) to get updates and he NEVER called me to tell me what I needed to update. On top of that Bryan didnt even apologize or seemed sincere for their HORRIBLE work. I wasted my time and money driving back and forth just to see their horrible work.

Over the holidays, an inattentive driver rear-ended my (6-mo old) Honda Accord Hybrid. I took it to Luther Collision & Glass in Plymouth, and I had a lot of concerns. There was a gap between the fender and the trunk lid that had never been there, the tail light was pushed in and up, the bumper cover and the bumper applique I paid to have applied were destroyed, and the low, inner tail light had all kinds of rub marks from the other guys bumper scraping up against it .I didnt really mention any of these concerns, just had the vehicle estimated, then brought it in for repairs. Luther coordinated with the other guys insurance and Enterprise Car Rental, the process was a seamless pickup from their location to having me in a rental car and on my way.When I picked up my car, everything was perfect. All of my concerns had been addressed, even the concerns I hadnt verbalized. They even cleaned the interior of my car, which I certainly hadnt expected, but appreciate.Every interaction Ive had with a Luther branded business, it has been respectful and professional. Thats why I keep going back to Luther when my car needs work done, or when its time to purchase a new car.
Took them 12 days to do a 2 day job. My new mirror did not match my factory mirror. Didn’t fix what I wanted to get done. Didn’t follow Insurance Adjustments. A Salvage Auto Shop could’ve done better than this. Embarrassing performance. Paint job was sub-par. Ridiculous pricing.

Anna was very kind and helpful each and every time I called and answered all my questions. My husband met Jeff and told me that he was courteous, professional and he assisted my spouse when came for the consult. Mike was very nice to work with during this process. He answered all my questions and assisted me when picking up my car.I was very pleased and thankful that my car not only had been fixed to my satisfaction. But also cleaned inside. Put a huge smile on my face to get my Pepe (my car) back so clean.I also want to give a shout out to Enterprise. Service here (for interior repair) is unbelievable. I had a leather package that I was unsure about installed in my Jeep and the Supervisor, Dave Nelson, was amazing. He walked me through the process step by step, gave me his personal cell phone (I didnt even ask) and then sent me pictures to confirm the look was what I wanted. On top of that, he and his team stayed later to finish the job (which would have been done earlier without all my hesitation) as he knew I needed the vehicle back for another appointment the next day. He never once was rude or expressed any level of frustration with me. He was super professional and even recommended a shop for me to get some additional work done to the Jeep. All around, I was extremely impressed with him. On top of it, the job was done to perfection.If you are having work done at this location, ask for Dave. Excellent customer service and quality of work.

A few months ago we brought my 2017 Mustang in to have the hood replaced with a new hood and painted because we could see that the paint was corroding up by the windshield. Apple Ford said they didnt think Ford would cover the warranty because the fender had been previously painted,which has nothing to do with the corroding hood. We then took our vehicle to Luther Auto in Plymouth to have them look at it and give us an estimate. My daughter, Sara Miller, works there and we are so happy she insisted we come and talk to them. We worked with Rachel, Mike and Adam. They were awesome and very honest with us. They found more corrosion all around the hood and explained to us why it was happening and that Ford should be repairing it for us under warranty. We then contacted our salesmen, Nick Davis at Cornerstone Auto in Elk River where we purchased our Mustang from last year. He talked with his manager and asked us to bring in the vehicle for them to look at. We worked with Bernie in the service dept, who proceeded to tell us that he would take pictures and have Ford look at them and let us know what Ford would do. He went to go get the camera and came back stating he did not need to take any pictures. Ford already knew about the corrosion problem and would order a new hood and paint it all under warranty. He stated they were having the same problem with the Ford Explorers. We brought the car in last week and we were given a rental for free. Picked up the car just this past Monday, and Cornerstone Body did a great job with our hood. I would recommend Luther Auto and Cornerstone to everyone for there great service.

The glass repair so far is fine everything went well and they handled the repair professionally. My only comment on the experience is the waiting room location was very sparse and loud, not comfortable like the Brooklyn Park location. I was told that since covid pandemic they had to remove all the convinces like coffee, cookies and water. If I would have know that I would have made arrangements to get picked up during my 2 hour wait and gone for breakfast somewhere.
I came here because my window was smashed in my VW Golf lil over a month ago. I never even bothered to try rolling down the window until today, and it straight up didn’t work and the motor just spun. Sounded pretty bad and was kinda disappointed about that. But when I started the car a different time it worked and a little piece of glass must’ve scratched the tint unfortunately. Not only that but they also offered to match the tint for the same Window, which was nice, but it ended up not being the same film and is noticeably different than the other three. The service for replacing the window and tinting also took 4 hours in total, but that coulda just been the severity of the window cleaning.Overall, job was done but just unfortunate events.
Luther Collision did a great job with my Subaru. They communicated well, were friendly and very professional. They also got the work done ahead of schedule. A real nice touch was how they detailed the car afterwards, cleaning the outside and the inside. I highly recommend Luther Collision.
Brought my car here after it was rear-ended. The information that I was given from them and the communication that happened during the repair were not satisfactory. I had to call multiple times to check up on the vehicle and see where the repairs were at. I believe that they should be calling me and letting me know where my vehicle is at and when it can be picked up. The repairs were done as stated and everything is back to the day I drove it off the lot.I have purchased vehicles from two different Luther dealerships and had excellent experience that is the reason I took my car to Luther collision and Glass for the repairs. If I choose to go back I will be picking another location.

They did good work and matched the silver color of my paint, which apparently is hard to do.They were a little expensive and have a team to negotiate with insurance companies, so when doing things out of pocket I feel like Im not getting a fair deal.Overall they did good work at the timeline they said they would.Their IT system isnt good so they cant keep track of appointments and quotes very well do make sure to keep your paperwork. Also, dont call the wrong location, that makes them very confused and they were never able to realize that I had just dialed the wrong location when looking up my quote.

Ive had my truck serviced at Luther Toyota in Brooklyn Center, and my takeaway from that experience was that they are committed to me being happy and satisfied with my service and experience at their dealership. This led me to pick Luther Collision to get some body work done on my truck after a recent hit and run in a parking lot.The estimate was done promptly, and they worked with my out-of-state insurance company with no problems. The reason I didnt give them five stars was because Id dropped off my truck on Monday with an assurance that it would be ready to go on Thursday, and it was still in pieces when it was supposed to be ready to go. I had an out-of-town appointment on Friday, and needed my truck to make the appointment. When I expressed my displeasure over the situation theyd put me in, I got a call back from the manager overseeing my work with assurances that it would be done ASAP, and it was. They even sent a driver to my office to pick me up and bring me out to the shop (I bus to work during the week, so I didnt want to mess around getting a rental) and he was a friendly guy who got me back to the shop in a hurry, the transaction was quick and friendly, and my truck was waiting for me at the front door. I had to hustle, but I made my appointment, which I wouldnt have been able to do without their good service.Everyone makes mistakes, but the commitment to customer satisfaction that Luther Collision makes is really a difference maker, and sets them apart. They jammed me up a little, but did a great job in making it up to me.Also, my truck looks fantastic. :)
I have had work done here twice in the last year (once for a major repair and once for a minor fix) on two separate vehicles and both times I had an outstanding experience. They made the process as painless as possible for me, went to bat for me against my insurance company to prove i needed more work then the insurance co. originally wanted to cover and the work looks great. You would NEVER know either car has had work done to it. Great communication in terms of timeliness and honesty.
Costumer service is excellent. Had a service for a minor scratch on the front bumper. They went an extra mile to ask if I wanted some other minor chips repaired and to fill the hole made by the license plate bracket. As a car enthusiast, they read my mind with only notifying them to leave the license plate off as I have plans to relocate it. They also nicely folded my emergency blanket that I like to keep on my passenger seat.

Car was finished by the date originally discussed and exterior of car was clean at pick-up. An unfortunate accident turned into great care from an expert staff.

I would not recommend this place for repairs. Since I purchased my car from Luther Chevy, I thought it made sense to get auto body repairs done by them. I trusted the brand. Well, I was told on two separate occasions my car would be ready within a certain time frame. I left work TWICE to pick up my car based on that information. I came and my car was still not ready. I waited for at least two hours. Finally, got my car back. Left and then noticed there were issues. It is now week three and I am still waiting to hear back and get the repairs done right. I invested too much time for poor quality workmanship. I regret using Luther.

Had both some very minor body work and a windshield replaced. This meant I dealt with 2 different people. But they communicated with me and with each other great. Brian handled dealing with claims adjuster from other persons insurance (THANK YOU he was an idiot), work was done quickly and looks great. Bonus was how clean my car was when I picked it up. What a great surprise. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back again myself.
My car was broken into via my passenger side front window. I called Luther Collision and Glass, they were extremely helpful from the moment I called. They were able to set up an appointment within 2 days (Safe-Lite quoted 2 weeks).Matt L was the technician who came to repair the vehicle. He was on-time and very professional. I was planning on e-mailing his manager to let him know he did a great job, but could not find an e-mail address.
Went in for an estimate, which was fast and professional--Mike offered me a couple of options, since some of the damage was just cosmetic, which I appreciated. When I dropped it off for repairs they did the work in the stated amount of time for just under the estimated price. My car looks good, and I was happy with the staff and service.
I had my truck in to repair some body molding that had fallen off. They gave me a quote in minutes and performed the service the next day. The services performed were quick and professional without any added stress. I know i can expect these guys to take excellent care of their customers.

Had my truck in for hail damage repair and it took almost 3 months to get the job completed. I understand there was a GM strike in the middle of it but that did not take up much of the repair time. Terrible response when trying to reach by phone, they always just texted. If I did receive a call back it was always a day or two later. I was told there would be someone there to go over the work upon pick up but there was no one there but the receptionist. I texted their number they used to try and get a call and it has been 3 days now with no response. Worked with Josh. I will never use them again and will make sure to share my experience with others that are looking for similar repairs done.

The facility is clean and comfortable. The the staff is helpful and accommodating. With Enterprise just around the corner getting a rental while work is being done is easy. My car was ready in less time than anticipated, was beautifully detailed and looked like new.I went in after an accident and got an evaluation. When it was finished I knew when to bring in my car, how long it would take and how much it would cost. When the time came to bring in the car they went out of their way to make it easier for me. Because I have a wheelchair dependent son, I needed to see him off before I could bring in my car. Metro Mobilitys schedule is a little erratic. They said theyd set the appointment and I could come in as close as I could, it would be fine. Likewise when the time came to pick the car up.

Had some body work done recently due to an accident, and also had some other damage repaired (not related to the accident). Worked with Bryan...he was very responsive with quotes and repair times, and handled everything with the insurance and separate repair seamlessly.I contacted him again regarding a minor follow-up issue a couple weeks later. He was able to fit me in the same day without an appointment, brought a tech out, and had me on my way in less than 5 minutes!Dont always see that kind of service. Highly recommend!
I had my car painted and repaired after an incident at Luther.They took more time than expected. Initially they said 2 weeks, again one more week and on the last day in the evening, when I went to collect the car, I see the car was not assembled yet. So took another day to finish...I also found additional scratches on bonnet. As if they kept something on the bonnet and is slided and made more scraches...Car looks clean and neat just like before. I could not the mechanic, who was assigned to, till last day. Had to drop N voice messages. But he is a nice guy that I met him on last day.Their customer service and front desk are good. After checking other reviews, I realized that they take more time in most of the cases.

Vehicle was transferred here for warranty rust repair. Told 5-10 business days, took a month. After two weeks asked for it to be put back together then and only then was I offered a loaner. The rust issues were taken care of but the car is buffed out like someone feel asleep on the grinder...top it off I now have a major issue with air bags that where not an issue prior. Was told this is a common and minnor problem...if its so common why was it not fixed? Leslie customer service was polite and fairly quick in response, other than her this place is a joke..better of finding a local shop.

They finished the work on my car in less time than they had told me it would take and my car looked great when they were done. Everyone I talked to there was really nice and helpful. I needed some extra help from them due to a disability and they were very accomodating. I would recommend Luther Collision to anyone needing body work done on their car.
If you go here, dont say I didnt warn you. My opinion: Terrible workmanship, does not stand by their work, damaged my nearly brand new car, had car for an extremely unreasonable amount of time, no communication, did not finish work, excuses on top of excuses. When all was said and done, I had to have my car towed to a different shop. After having it towed to a new shop, the work they were unable to do was done within two hours. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!
Luther Collision in Plymouth did a good job on the repair. The issue was with the estimate. The initial estimate included painting a door that wasnt damaged so it would match the new paint job which I felt was unnecessary. Also, I received a call that the initial estimate didnt include 3M protection on the door handle that was missed. I was happy about the repair but disappointed about the estimate process.
I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday morning for a repair they estimated at 4 days, and they called right away Friday Morning for it to be picked up. They worked directly with the insurance company so I didnt have to deal with anything while my car was in the shop. Everyone is very customer oriented and even the estimators would answer calls and assist walk-ins when the front desk worker was away or busy.
Had my car in to get repaired after a fender bender. Took nearly 3.5 weeks to get the car back when they said it would take 2. Called to confirm on the 4th pickup date they gave me and it needed another 2 days. Quality work though
Brought in my 2015 GTI to get bumper damage fixed. After getting car back I noticed pitting in the paint and mismatched color between new and old paint. Had to bring back in. But since the work was guaranteed they paid for the rental. Got car back and it looks absolutely perfect now. Service was friendly and thoughtful. Thanks Luther!

They had my car for 1 week and 2 days. Picked up my Ranger Rover Sport after hail storm damage repaires were done. They only performed paintless dent removal but did not take care of any chips or scratches caused by the storm damage. My vehicle was left outside in rainy weather with a leaking sunroof. And only thanks to rain last Friday night, early Saturday morning, i discovered that the sunroof was leaking. My interior damaged and left loosely installed by the technician(s) in/on several locations/panels/components from disassembly and reassembly, and damaged by rain water because they left my sunroof in an impropely sealed and leaking state. Front passenger armrest damaged/loose. One of my rear speakers is practicality dangling from the overhead interior panel. The custom white leather interior damaged, torn/scratched on the front console and on one of the rear passenger headrests. My console-dash loose and wiggly, my in-dash monitor from broken, my tires left with high-speed-aggressive driving tread wear/damages, and a flat rear passenger tire, which no longer holds pressure properly. Also, on top of all that, they caused additional chips and scratches on the exterior of my car. Some of which someone tried to cover up. I have archived photos of all damages from the storm. And now I have archived photos and videos of the additional damages cause by this shop. I mean come on! Are you serious? Someone at Luther Collision & Glass in Plymouth needs to be held accountable for this gross and horrendous, quality of service and craftsmanship. Servuce advisor Bryan W. Was courteous and respectful. Manager Dave (looks like kumar) had a very cocky ego, with a disrespectful and insulting demeanour. Complaint filed with BBB and soon one with corporate office.
The staff at Luther Collison and Glass was courteous and helpful. After a frustrating accident, they took over and made the rest of the process smooth. They made sure my car was repaired to the highest quality, set me up with a rental, and dealt with the insurance company. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle here.

Horrible communication. I called Rob Vovk, since hes supposedly the only one that deals with my insurance, 4 separate times and left a message for him. He only ever called back once.Got sick of waiting for no response, so I called their main number and talked to someone to schedule a day to drop off my car. That day comes and I go to drop off my car.I am told that I dont have an appointment and to call my insurance, who has already done their part. I call them in the lobby and they resend what they need to send.I am then told that the only person who has access to what was just resent, Rob Vovk, Im assuming, wont be in until the morning. i.e. I wasted my time bringing my car in for no reason.Completely ridiculous. I am definitely not taking my car there. A complete and utter waste of time.
My car was in shop being repaired for 3 weeks and they didnt even complete everything on my insurance claim. Customer service at the end was the worst. They forget to check my backup camera. When I got home and noticed that it was not working, they gave me the run-around and told me they were not going to hook up my backup camera (that they should have done in the first place after they fixed my bumper). Really bad experience. Dont go to this location!

Top notch! After I got an initial estimate under my insurance company, it was found that the other party was at fault. One would think that this would cause some confusion and paperwork mixup, but these guys got right on it clearing everything up so that I didnt have to spend a half hour on the phone. My repair was done quickly and the communication throughout was flawless. A few days in, they called me and told me I had a chip in my windshield. They worked directly with my insurance company to replace it while it was in the shop for other work. When I picked up the car, they cleaned, vacuumed, tire shined, everything! Great service.
Body Work performed was good, amount of time it took to get the car back was a little longer than anticipated. Rental car provided from the rental service was a subcompact and serviceable (i.e., Beggars cant be choosers) :-)
Everything was fine the first week, then they got busy after a snowstorm, and rushed my vehicle through. It needed at least 5 more hours of detailing when they said it was done. I had to bring it back three times for over spray not being buffed out, bubbles in the clear coat on the roof, dust in the new headlights, and round scratches on the trunk. This happened in 2012. Hopefully they have improved their quality since then.I did have them refinish my alloy wheel once. and they did an excellent job.
My experience was just awful. I was in an accident and was towed to Luther. The tow truck driver said they would help me get a rental car. No such luck. She pointed down the hill to a rental car place. When I got there, they were shocked that no one from Luther called. My car was there for 68 days, most of the time just sitting until they could get to it, 7 day delay here, 10 day delay there. They didnt return my calls. No proactive communication at all. Horrible customer service. Oh, my car was fixed just fine, but I would expect that.
Horrible repair service. Brought my car here since it was one a few certified VW repair shops. Brought car back multiple times after service as the alignment was not feeling right. The technician was very rude and indicated alignment could not have been affected by being t-boned at 30 MPH. All work was covered by insurance. Even still they did not want to look for additional repairs that needed to be done to get the car back in working order. sheer laziness.... I brought the car to another shop and found that the trailing arm and sway arms were bent.
On a scale of 0 to 3, I would rate Luther Collision & Glass a 3! This was the first time I had been in an accident where I needed repairs to my recently purchased VW Jetta. They made the whole experience easier for me to go through. The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The repairs that needed to be done were done excellently and in a timely manner.There was some very good team work going on! Luther Collision & Glass were there when I needed them! Weve taken a few vehicles here for repair and each time they did a very nice job. The cars were ready exactly when promised and they were very easy to work with and helped coordinate with our insurance.
It was quite pleasant experience. Car got fixed earlier than expected. No complains.
I was called and given a date to drop off my car on November 17, 2015. When I got there nobody could find the paperwork and my rental car was not there. They ended up giving me a rental car that was promised to someone else that had not showed up yet. I mean, they were polite, apologetic and accomodating but I hope this doesnt happen all the time
Great experience from everyone I encountered. I was kept informed about progress including the need for auto insurance negotiations to revise the damage report and estimate. I hope I dont need their services again but would return if I need to and will recommend them to others.
