This was by far the most professional auto repair shop I’ve ever encountered. The gentleman that assisted me throughout my entire process was thorough and he made my process as seamless as possible. He went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend this shop to friends and family.

Please take caution when bringing your vehicle for repairs here. I was quoted 18 days for my vehicles repair. It’s been 2 months and my vehicle is still not repaired. I was told 4 weeks ago that my vehicle was 95% done. Ever since then I get no updates whatsoever about what is happening. The times I’ve called to see what’s going on I get told different stories. The guy (Chris) who is supposed to keep me updated doesn’t even bother to reach out and provide updates. Bad overall experience and definitely do not recommend this company to anyone. I should have taken my vehicle to a different body shop if I knew this is the way this company operated. Your honestly better off going to another company that actually treats its customers better.

I had an awesome experience with this location (Plano, TX - Avenue K).Another location could not take my car for over 10 days but when I called the Plano - Avenue K location they took my car within an hour.I had the pleasure of being assigned to representative Jake who is absolutely amazing. Everyone I spoke when ever I called in were also amazing if Jake was unavailable at the moment. This location restored my faith in customer service and that honest, friendly people still exist. Absolutely fantastic service at this shop! Car is better than before the accident! Jake kept us informed of progress with regular phone calls and we got regular texts regarding updates to repair timelines. Very communicative and informative. Costs were paid through insurance so I am not saavy on price comparisons with other repair shops, but I highly, highly recommend this shop for competence, honesty, and communication.

I’ve used Caliber for all my body damage repairs since moving to Dallas. Love their repair and customer service. The location on K Ave in Plano is especially my favorite. They make it a priority to be courteous and great with communication.

I got in an accident on the highway and so happy I chose Caliber! I originally took my car to the Dallas location- Marilu and Cynthia that work the front desk were so helpful in getting me a rental and keeping me updated on my car. My car was transferred to this plano location and Jake was great! I hope that I wont have to come back but if I ever do- I will definitely choose Caliber

Brad from Caliber Collision went above and beyond in customer service. First of all, he made sure that the car was in the best shape possible upon return. A couple of minor things were not quite right when I first got the car back but he took care of it as soon as possible. The whole situation with the insurance would have been a complete headache if it were not for Brad’s stepping up to help mediate. He was the only person in the whole process of the insurance claim/repair giving consistent updates and checking in. He was a HUGE help in communicating with my insurance AND even the at fault party’s insurance to make sure they took care of what they were supposed to. Both insurance companies seemed to either be understaffed or have agents out of the office long term. He helped make multiple calls to help get to the bottom of things. It was a confusing situation with the insurance companies, but thanks to Brad’s patience, diligence and professionalism, the whole process of claim/repair was completed in a very satisfactory manner.

The first time I used this company I was in college in 2006. They did an awesome job on my Toyota Tacoma. A month ago I bought a 2020 Chevy Silverado and someone made a pretty nice dent on my passenger door and driver door without me even driving it. Since i had a good experience i brought it to caliber collision . Jake was extremely professional and had my car finished in exactly 5 days. This place is not the cheapest body shop but if you’ve been around you would know inexpensive service doesn’t guarantee good quality service at all. I actually got another estimate and calibers estimate was $1000 less. If you love your car and you want it to be done right this place will certainly deliver.

We recently took our car to them for some body repair. The staff was very nice and helpful. The facility was clean and COVID compliant. When we picked up the car, we were SO happy with the job they did! They also have a great warranty on their paint jobs, so thats a plus:-)

Had to bring my car here for repairs after an accident and could not have a had a more positive experience! Chris was great about communicating with updates throughout the 2 weeks my car was there. After I got my car back, I started to hear a rattling sound that wasn’t there before. I called and spoke with the manager John and he was very apologetic and told me to bring it back whenever. Brought it back, John took 15 mins out of his day to drive my car with me and figure out the sound....turns out it was just my garage clicker rattling around on my sun visor lol. So appreciative of his help and happy with my car! Thank you!

Warning: they are not trustworthy and they don’t complete the job. I would never recommend this place. No attention to detail. They undid things that were perfectly fine, and left it to me to find someone to finish the work. They claimed to have fixed everything but the wiper fluid tank that was broken was still broken so I had no wiper fluid for an 825 mile drive ahead of me. Suggested I take it to a ford dealer to do the rest because it was New Year’s Eve and they all wanted to go home. They insisted they didn’t take my license plate off and put it inside the drivers door. Must have been th tow truck driver. So how could it be test driven as was claimed, when they couldn’t open the door without hearing the rattle off the license plate? How could they not notice that suddenly if you barely ease in the accelerator, it takes off like a race car? And you brake, and it would have thrown me through the window if I didn’t have my seat belt on (which was hard to do because someone took the seat extender off and I’ll never see it again) my head would have been thrown through the windshield. Didn’t see the 2” square notice, yellow on black, thwt wiper fluid was low? Claiming to have done work such as replace the wiper fluid tank, and refilling it, and subsequently accepting payment, is fraud. I was told I could get the front license bracket to replace the mangled one from the wreck, the rear license plate reinstalled, and the seat belt extender replaces, at a ford dealer... they didn’t notice the mangled bracket? First thing I saw I was pretty busy with not a lot of time before a long drive home but the idea that I point out all the things they failed to do, and be told, “oh you can do it yourself,” doesn’t set well with me. Warning: you don’t want to take your car there. Overall I got mine back in worse shape than when they got it.

Everything looked great. Upon picking up the vehicle, the service man (forgot his name) who checked us out, provided a detail explanation on all the work that Caliber did on the vehicle. Caliber also kept in contact with me during the entire process, and kept the promised delivery date. Ive already told friends and family about Caliber for any future work they might need. We took my husbands truck in after an accident that caused front end damage. These guys were top notch! Jake took amazing care of us. He was friendly and explained everything leaving us with no questions. The text alerts were also followed up with personal calls to let us know things were going well and updates on insurance or further damage found. Highly recommend!

Chris and the front desk crew were very friendly from start to finish of the process. Chris informed me every little detail of my car repair which was a plus! And the repair process was finished at a timely manner as well.

Dealing with an insurance claim is always a pain but they gave me a lot of answers I had on what to do and how to contact insurance and did most of the work for me anyhow! Don’t go anywhere else. In my last review, this place helped me sort thing out and try to help me out due to some technical issue with the computer. The GM promise to help me paid half of the rental, but since it was already charged in my card. He promise to send me a gift card of half of what they charged me. Told me to call back in a week for John. I did, but John keep promising that he will get it ready by next week, or that he was busy and will make it happen. Week pass, he never reply. So I check in with him. He told me that he was busy. I told him, I understand and told him there was no rush. Thanks them multiple time for helping me out. Weeks pass, then it lead to months passing by. Still no text, he will only text me if I text him about it, and until this day December 4. I still didn’t get it. This promise was made around July. It’s okay, if you guys just told me straight forward that you guys wasn’t going to help, and I would of understand. However making a promise and having me check up every two week for a “ I’m on it, give me a day and I will have it ready.” Is kind of making me feel like I’m a bothersome. After everything you guys still great, thanks for everything.

I got into an accident and Christfer Pak was my Repair Estimator. He emailed me daily with updates on my car and also responded to my emails within the hour that I sent them. He made sure I knew where my car was, what was being worked on and my car was ready before the expected date. The paint job was great and the car was super clean (I have never had a shop clean my car as well as they did after a repair). I give all praise to Christfer Pak for his outstanding customer service.

They did a fantastic job fixing the side of my car that was tboned by some heifer who LIED and said she had a yellow light when I know I had the green. They got the work done in a week, looked brand new and even did a very nice job cleaning out the inside.

The service here was awesome especially the customer service. Huge shoutout to Jake he took care of us from the beginning to the end. The customer service here is AMAZING! I’m very please with my vehicle! Thank you for your service during this pandemic situation and taking care of us expeditiously.

From my first contact with Jake to my constant and ending contact with Brad my experience was an awesome one!! My car came in with bad scrapes all down the left side, broken left tail light and drivers side mirror hanging on by a thread. My car looks brand new now. Brad even took the extra care to make sure my steering wheel would be cool as well as my car. I received constant texts letting me know where they were in the process. I was so embarrassed to have my car taken in to the shop because it’s so old and my hood got pretty busted up. Spoke with John Vandepas over the phone he was very professional and had a positive attitude. We discussed the damages, an action plan, and he even arranged to pick up my car from my work location. The repairs exceeded my expectations. John and his team went above and beyond my expectations and wowed me with their customer service, follow up and turn around time it took to fix my car. John made this stressful situation, stress free and helped me get my family back on the road in a much safer car.

Everyone was so professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. I was getting repairs from a hit and run through my insurance, and they walked me through each step of the process. My car looked brand new! Brad even buffed out a scratch that was unrelated to the accident. Also, I found out this is a local business!

Caliber Collision did a top notch job fixing our minivan after we were hit by an uninsured driver. We were a few days out from a family trip and they were so great to work with in making sure we had our van back before hand. There was one part that hadnt been fixed yet (automatic trunk closer) and I know they were not wanting to let it go without being fixed but we made our trip and they took care of that final part as soon as we got back. The repair looks as good as new and Derrick and his team were so pleasant to deal with. This is a huge deal when someone has done through an ordeal like this so I want to say a genuine thank you to the team at Caliber from our family.

I was very pleased with the quality of the work for my daughters car. The level of communications from Caliber was high, and they were also friendly. Lastly, I appreciated being informed about being able to possibly get a deduction on the deductible that I had to pay.

I got into an accident in 2016. I needed the hood replaced and painted and the driver side front and back doors replaced and painted. The materials and paint they used were soooo cheap! They bend easier than the rest of my car and the paint is peeling off on the areas they fixed. It started the first year but I haven’t said anything as I have been busy and I didn’t really notice too much but now the spots where the cheap paint they used is coming off are rusting! Really upset with the quality of work and materials they used. It all looked fine when I picked up my car but it is not ok any more. I know that it is due to their workmanship because the rest of my car is fine it is only the areas that they worked on that are peeling, rusting, denting easier and chipping.

This place does AMAZING work! They fixed my car up after a fender bender and it looks better than new! I will recommend this place to anyone that ever needs fast quality service for their vehicle! Thank you guys! Yall rock!!!

I highly recommend this shop. The customer service is beyond exceptional! I had chest surgery the same day that my car was ready to be picked up, so for obvious reasons I was unable to make it. My rep brought my car to my house, and then took my enterprise rental car back to return it for me. My experience was unbelievably easy as these great people handled everything for me! I will return if I need anything else in the future, and refer everyone I know to this location!!

Let me begin with I NEVER used this location!I was given this as a place my insurance works with. Of the 5 places, this was nearest my home. They called me as they were supposed to, but hours after the rental car place called.I was not at my desk. A pleasant sounding person named Ashley left me a voice mail.I returned the call. Five different times I returned the call throughout the day, before I left my office. I left the office two hours before their scheduled closing time of six P.m.I had two people call from my insurance company.EVERY time I called the phone rang and rang. I let it ring until the standard 40-ring phone company disconnect. The insurance ladies did the same. No one ever answered. No machine ever picked up.I was afraid of what would happen once they had my car, even though they partner with my insurance company, which is a National carrier.Their work may be fine, but due to lack of communication, this has now set my repairs back a full week, because we are running up to a weekend and dropping it off on a Thursday is discouraged by insurance, so the car does not sit there over a weekend, untouched.I hope their communications problems get resolved.

July 2016. I dont know how old the other reviews are, but Ive just had my car repaired here and they are great. My 2010 KIA was hit by a truck. Lots of damage to the drivers rear quarter panel. The repair, paint and rework of the car is like new. An exact match to the rest of the car. The service staff were there on time, every time I met with them or called. Caliber on Ave K was recommended to me by my Insurance (USAA) and Caliber took care of everything. They are under recent new management and the work was all I had hoped it to be. Alan Johnson

Not so great customer service,I picked up my car today & came out with check engine light & check vsc lights on my dashboard.Ive never had those lights come up in dashboard. They also didnt bother to tell me what was wrong with it,

Everyone there was phenomenal. Johnethon bent over backwards to do everything possible to ensure I was satisfied. He was in touch with me the entire time, and made himself available whenever I had questions regarding my repair. He even went above and beyond and assisted me in getting things done to my car that were not a part of the repair job, or even part of Caliber Collisions normal services. Kayla at the front was equally as helpful. I was supposed to have Enterprise pick me up from Caliber with a rental (I called and set this up with enterprise the week before). She continued to call them because they were late to pick me up and I needed to return to work. When she called the final time and they still were not on her way, she went above and beyond and called one of the service guys and had him drive me to Enterprise so I wouldnt have to wait anymore. They also did a great job on my car, you could not even see where the damage was (and as a plus they cleaned the inside of my car, even though they only did work to the outside) . Best shop I have used, and I have had my car repaired at several.

I was completely pleased with the work Caliber Collision completed on my Nissan Altima recently. From the beginning to the end Derrick kept me informed of the progress they were making and it was completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. Someone scrapped my bumper in a parking lot, and of course didnt leave a note. CeCe buffed out the bumper and it looks GREAT & she did it at no charge. I will always bring my cars back to Caliber in the future.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I would recommend going to another Caliber Collision somewhere else or another Collision center all together because they have a manager John Vandepas that is refusing to fix an issue on my car that they caused. NOW my car has multiple check engine lights and they installed a new fan and its now making loud noises that their shop mechanic told us it needs to be replaced and the Chevy dealership said it needs to be replaced. This guy wont return my emails so I will report them to the BBB as this is ridiculous! It is a warranty coverage so fix your mistakes! I have had the worst experience with this Caliber! The manager John Vandepas has said unprofessional things about me to my son and his girlfriend when I wasnt present! I just brought in my car to get warranty work done on it since it wasnt done properly back late last year and John Vandepas spoke to me like I was trying to get over on him, spoke down to me like I didnt know anything. Now that I have been told by 2 different mechanics that it is the fan making loud noises John tells my son that he would get with my insurance about replacing the fan that Caliber has ALREADY replaced! My insurance has yet to be contacted and I havent been contacted and its been 2 weeks. John should NOT be working for Caliber with his attitude towards customers! He told my son that I normally wouldnt work with customers who files a complaint against me Also he said to my son your lucky she is with you This is NOT acceptable. Also, today 9/16/19 I was told by John Vandepas via text message that Geico denied my supplemental claim and for me to contact them. I then contacted Geico and they said it was NOT DENIED, the adjuster needed to see the vehicle which was not there. So this so called manager is not competent AT ALL. I have his text messages and also my sons statements of what this guy has said to us. This is NOT acceptable!

Absolutely do not go to Caliber Collison or at least this one. Worst service I have EVER experienced. I got into an accident and sent my car to caliber to get an estimate on repairs. It took them a week and a half to tell me the car was “totaled” and that they would not fix it. My car was originally drivable but apparently they removed parts to make it non-drivable and refused to put them back on so i could drive the car to a real mechanic for another opinion. The accident happened on the front of my car so i have no idea why they removed the bumper and couldn’t put it back on. Johnathan is the person we dealt with and he was rude, slow, and very uninformed. I can’t believe the service I received here and hope no one else has to go through it.

Recently I had a hit and run on my vehicle that was parked. I first got an out of pocket estimates from 3 reputable shops in my area. My first meeting with Johnethon of Caliber Collision in East Plano, he was wonderful and stood out from the rest. He went over in detail what he saw, what was likely needed in the way of repairs and what else could come up once they started the project. Johnethon was very knowledgeable, friendly, and outstanding.I made the decision to go with Caliber Collision because of Johnethon, he has excellent communication skills and this was a big part of my decision to go with Caliber Collision. I ended up filing a claim on my insurance and Johnethon explained that this was covered as an uninsured motorist and that my deductible would be reduced down to $250, as the damages were more if I paid out of pocket.Johnethon explained that once I made my appointment for the repairs that it was a one stop shop, meaning that when I dropped my vehicle off the rental car company would pick me up right at Caliber Collision and then when my vehicle was completed, that I could just drop the rental off at Caliber Collision and they would contact the rental agency to pick up the car.I appreciate Johnethon and how communicative he was with me through out the whole process. Johnethon made it super easy and convenient for me. The repairs were fast, Johnethon had told me that it would be about 4-5 days, and he called me on day 3 and said that my vehicle was ready to be picked up! When I picked up my vehicle everything looked fantastic. Johnethon made this such a great experience and I am very impressed. I would definitely recommend this specific Caliber Collision off Avenue K in East Plano, as well as Johnethon. My parked car was accidentally hit and damaged recently. To help save the really nice guy who hit me from having his insurance go up, I got out of pocket estimates from 3 reputable shops in the area. While they were all helpful, my initial meeting with Johnethon of Caliber Collision in East Plano was fantastic and stood out from the rest. He was methodical (he covered in detail what he saw and what was likely needed in the way of repairs and what else could arise), knowledgeable (he explained things clearly and in terms I could grasp, being that I am not super car savvy), friendly, and patient with my redundant questions. I also didn’t feel pressured when chatting with him. I called a few times on and off after that and spoke with a gal name Amy at the front desk. She was friendly and always gave me detailed info.When I contacted the guy who hit me to let him know the out of pocket price range, we agreed it made sense for him to run it through his insurance instead. At that point, his insurance told me I could choose the repair shop but they happened to have an adjuster at another Caliber Collision location in Plano as well as a rental car company attached. Meaning, I could get everything done at once, all in one place! I researched reviews for the shop they recommended and decided I preferred to stick with Johnethon. I felt so confident in this decision that I literally drove out to a shop a little ways from me to have the insurance adjuster inspect and estimate my vehicle. I then took it back and dropped it off in East Plano for repairs with Johnethon.I appreciate how communicative he has been with me through the whole process. He made it super easy and convenient for me. He ensured that I was quickly picked up and taken to the nearby rental car place as soon as I brought my car in for repairs. When the repairs were complete, he even met me in another city on a busy day to swap out my car with the rental car.The repairs were fast and everything looks fantastic! This was such a great experience; I am impressed! I would definitely recommend this specific Caliber Collision off Avenue K in East Plano, as well as Johnethon and Amy. You guys did a great job! I accidently turned into their parking lot with a volvo and i keep my baby clean anyways a white guy was standing outside as soon as he saw me pull in he ran for his life! and all i wanted was to make a u turn little did he know how ignorant can people get smh and lol

I really had a bad experience with Calliber collisions. Below are the few points to backup my dissatisfaction.1) I left my car in their center (parker and N Central expy) on wednesday morning and I was told that I will be getting it back friday EOD.2) I didnt get any call from their mechanic to let me know that i will not be getting the car on Friday EOD. Its when i called them i got to know that i wont be getting it on Friday, but will be getting on monday.I exepcted a call from them to let me know, But i didnt get a call at all until I had to call them multiple times.3) I requested twice for a callback to get the status and never recieved any call.4) On monday I waited for a call until noon to get the status, but never recieved a call. I called them around noon and they were not sure if I would get the car by EOD. So i asked them to take a message to the manager and call me, but didnt recieve any callI again called them after 2 hours and they told me that the car will be ready to pick up at 6 and also they close at 6.5) I stay like 30 mins away from this place, so i started driving around 5:30 and at 5:45 i get a call from the manager (Mario) that the car might not be ready and would be ready by Tuesday.It was very disheartening, I was 60% through my way and I get this call? I told them that I was told by somebody that I will get the car at 6 so I was on my way, then he said, ok, I will let them know, you can come down. I feel like there is a lot of chaos .6) Once i reached there I told them about my experience with them and the answer I got was WEll, we will take care of it next time . WTH, you want me to wreck my car again and come there to check? I would never come there again.

Special Thank You to the whole team in Plano Tx,I have never had to deal with any collision companies before because this was my first time ever filling a claim with the insurance company. I had two separate claims filled that I had worked on. The hood of my vehicle had a few dents and dings, the front bumper needed to be replaced, the front right corner panel and my back right passenger door. I had no idea what to expect but I was suggested to try Caliber Collision in Plano Tx, so I decided to go with this company. I cannot express enough how sincerely grateful I am for the WHOLE TEAM from the very first phone call to the time I picked my vehicle up out of the shop. I expected a 2 or 3 week delay and it took literally about a week for all of the damages to either be fixed or replaced. Not only did they do an amazing job at fixing or replacing the parts that needed to be replaced, they cleaned my carpets, and basically made my 2008 Toyota Rav 4 that has made many miles from the east coast and west coast back Texas look literally like a brand new car.
