This place is unorganized. They never seem to be around to have them fix an issue. On the other hand, the last bay to the right is being rented by a very skilled and passionate about his career mechanic named Alvin and his business name is Alvin and Sons. He works alone but trust me the only complaint for him is that hes so good at what he does, hes always busy. His prices are very reasonable and hes personable.

I came into mega auto for an oil change and theprocess was very smooth. I was in and out veryquickly and the staff was very courteous. I shared a few laughs with the technician and theygave me a good price. Will definitely come backagain in the future.

At the beginning of this year my car broke down. Come to find out I need a alternator so I went to mega auto services in Plainfield they charge me a lot of money to buy the alternator thinking I was getting a brand new alternator they put in a rebuilt one in so it broke down again went to a different auto shop where they told me it was rebuilt mega auto service took my money trying to cut corners and pocket money not doing the job correctly and in the end it cost me more money would never go to them again. Well done mega Auto Services

I highly recommend this shop! The front desk staff is very knowledgable and friendly and they did a great job on my car! Five stars!

This place put my unidirectional tires all facing the same way, told me one price for the install and halfway through tried charging me more for the stems and balancing after telling me it was included. They couldnt even set the bead properly, 100% avoid them.

I have a Tahoe and with custom wheels and one of my Lugnuts could not come off. And I could not find no one else that was willing to do the work. These guys figured it out in five minutes Repair it and they didn’t break the bank they were awesome and I will go back!!!!!

Ive done business with Mega before multiple times in past years. I go way back when gentlemen named carlos worked there always gone there for all my tire needs. When carlos left i dealt with Moe then another gentlemen name Jaime never had a problem. Now fast forward to present day none of those people i use to know work there anymore... but based of my previous experience I decided to go back to them for two cars a honda civic and subaru impreza. i called ahead and dealt with a lady named Laure she was very nice, helpful, scheduled me an appointment, and even worked out a competitive price. Everything seems normal until i actually got the work done when i went to pick up my two cars i came to find out BOTH cars where not aligned properly, also every tire was missing the screw plugs for tire pressure gauges.So i spoke the receptionist on shift but she had no clue about cars so i went directly to the mechanic named jose at first he told me both cars were aligned He TEST DROVE BOTH. I insisted he come in car and take test drive with me which he did then he saw the car pull to the right, and steering wheel was not centered he saw it told me to “pull car in ” again he would fix it right now . I did just that i let him do his thing as soon as i saw he was almost done i asked to see the alignment cpu screen which i did. Let me tell u chosen the wrong model trim! I explained it to him, but at this point he seemed bothered but He tried to fix it anyways. So he called me in once he was done this time and i see the screen but it was still off!! So i took a picture of it (which i still have) I explained to him but he seemed like he was over worked, stressed, and he just didn’t care because he gave me some BS excuse that what i was looking at was for the tires in the back(yet it picture clearly shows the front)So at this point laure pops up i explain to her what has been happening and she told me she would speak to the owner the very next day to try resolve my issues. I didnt get a call for about a week a half later when i get a text from Laure saying to please call her to have the issue resolved.. at this point i just went somewhere else i wasnt going to wait, and top of that the trust was no longer there. So I would just avoid them until they get their act together. I hate leaving bad reviews especially for a place i used before many times but this review is well deserved

I have been to a couple of the auto body places on Front St. and I must say that the customer service was amazing. They really helped me out in a time of need. I will be definitely be returning the best time I need to service my car!

I love this place! The people treat you right and they give you great service. Megsa prices are very competitive because they do not mark up parts as much as most garages. They also only charge you for the amount of time they really spend on the repair. Other places just charge you a set amount of hours irrespective of the actual time.Mega has done all sorts of repairs for me from brakes, oil changes, tune-ups, timing belts,changing the water pump to replacing the coils. They do it all and they do it well.

I took my 2005 Cadillac Seville to Crown Cadillac Dealer on Route 22, and they gave me a diagnostic for $5700, they told me I needed to replace the engine, and my warranty had expired.My next door neighbor told me about Mega. I decided to bring it there cause I needed a second opinion. The tech there found the reason my engine was running like crap, was due to worn out intake manifold gaskets, and several air hoses leaking. they was able to make my car run properonce again, and it only cost me $1188.32. I drove my car to Florida the following week, no problems.

Plainfield has many options for servicing your car, but i must say ive never experienced such an amazing team of professional mechanics. Lead by the manager Moe the team at mega always does a awesome job. they get the job done right the first time.Their friendliness and honesty will always keep me coming back!!!!

I got great help form Dave the owner I needed a rear engine mount him and his crew recognized the problem right away and gave me a great price . They are committed to bringing in life time customers rather then just make a quick buck I highly recommend them

They post a $20 oil change coupon on their website. When I went there I was told the cheapest oil change was $45. That is deceptive advertising and fraud in my book. Suffice it to say I did not use them and never will for anything. Crooks!
