Great window company. I’ve had a slider door several years ago installed and window replacement recently. No complaints and they did quality work. I worked along side them to replace the exterior trim around each window. They were very helpful and professional throughout the entire job. I will need some more windows replaced in the future. We have corner windows in our house that needed a total replacement. After getting quotes from a few companies, we decided on Window Installation Specialist. We were impressed with Melissa as she helped us with the perfect choice windows. We went with Pella. Bill came out to do a final measure and review the job. He noticed that our lintels needed some attention and explained how we could prepare them. During the installation process the crew made sure that everything was just perfect. The interior trim was installed with perfection. We choose to do the staining ourselves. We could not be any happier with our new windows. Just hired these guys to re-install my door. The technician was nice and professional. The installation has done quick and painless.

We used WIS to replace all. windows in our 110 yo house with mostly Pella & a few Anderson Kits. WIS was through, detail-oriented & cleaned up well, But our experience had a big covid-effect, so scheduling was tough. We waitedfor Pella to manufacture our windows, and so we had to reschedule installation a few times. Only one problem: we had 1 casement window & what we ordered wasn’t what we got. Many thanks to thorough installation team for catching this, overall I’d use them again, but be prepared for delays.

I had an appointment with this company to come and give an estimate on windows. They were a no call and no show. I called the company and the employee stated she had no ideal where they were and if they were coming. BTW I received a confirmation in the mail regarding this appointment 10 days prior. I was told someone would call me and they never did. I called a second time and still no reply. I had all intentions of using this company prior to this issue. BEWARE, I guess they did not need the buisness.

First thing you need to know, most of the Google reviews for this place are fake reviews the owner likely bought. Unless you believe that 25 people all left reviews for this window/door installer in the same month period all at 5 stars that are all accounts which have also reviewed places all over the country and often have privated their other Google reviews. I guess its possible that 25 country traveling people all left 5 star reviews for a Pittsburgh window installer in one month, but so is winning the lottery....I called them for an appointment to get quotes for multiple door installs on the exterior of our home. Not only did they not show, but for the past four days their phone number goes straight to voicemail and at the time of this writing gets a busy signal and hangs up. They previously had an answering service, but that seems to be gone.Something is rather suspect with these people. Be cautious, especially when someone is willing to pay for fake reviews.

This company provided a sliding door and installed it leaving a large gap at the base of this second story patio door. When asked that this be repaired, I was met with resistance. They did later agree to send an installer back out and then they discovered there was an error. It was then rectified to my satisfaction after this second visit.I would have left this pass believing that anyone can have a bad day now and then. However, when asked to provide updated pricing for another door, were told they did not want to come out since I pointed out the previous door was not installed professionally.

Sliding door installedThey were very responsive and very friendly and responsive to work with to find a time to come out and measure. After waiting the period of time for the door to be manufactured, they tried to find a time to come out. This was delayed because of weather, when they did come and install, they did a good job of fixing some old water damage under the door. Unfortunately, part of the door delivered was broken, which they did not realize, and they had to order a new part and come out again to finish. When they came back out and finished installation, the door didnt close properly. They did come back and evaluate, and turns out the lock and jamb was installed wrong, so was reinstalled. After this, we noticed air flowing through the middle of the door, after having them come out again, the middle seal was installed incorrectly, this was fixed. Now the door is great, but it took multiple times of me asking them to come back out. They were always respectful and responsive to my requests to reevaluate, but still disappointing it took that hence the C grade.

Thanks to the new front door and three-chamber windows that you installed for us, the house is very quiet and warm. True home comfort. We are very glad that we listened to your recommendations and made the right choice.

Overall, I’m pleased. Price was very fair and they were very responsive and professional, going above and beyond for most of the job. The crew worked quickly and were very nice. There were only a couple of issues. One was the sliding door, which was ordered incorrectly to open on the wrong side. It’s a minor inconvenience that’ll last for as long as the door lasts. The other was not the fault of the company but rather Melissa, who did not assemble the one window but rather sent the window in pieces to be assembled on site. When returned to be assembled in the shop, Melissa broke a pane of glass and so we had a piece of plywood in our front window for a couple weeks after the job. They also had a staining guy who they recommended who did a nice job with the staining but it was his side job so it took a little while to get through all of the windows.

Windows and doors were brought and installed on time. Installation is made with high quality technology. Nice to deal with you.

We communicated back and forth many times before committing to pursuing their company to install our windows, and every time we called or emailed, we received a response within minutes to just a few hours. Such amazing customer service! The installation process was a breeze; the crew was incredibly kind and even brought my son a toy tool belt so he could feel like part of the team. They were courteous, clean, and most importantly, got the job done in exactly three days (their estimate). Had the weather been nicer, it would have been one day less. Great company, they replaced every window in our house with no problems. They left no mess behind and the owners were on site during install. Very profesional, they had the best prices for the windows I wanted and helped us make an informed decision as to which brand best met our needs. Its been 2 winters with no problems, or leaks. I made an appointment a week or so ago for a measurement. I had an appointment at 11:00 AM today, 8/22/19 originally. Window Installation Specialists called me on 8/20 to move the appointment back to 1:00 PM today, 8/22/19. I had to move my dresser with mirror out of the way and a computer out of the way to measure the two windows. It’s no small feet. 1:00 PM came and went. I waited until 1:40 and called Window Installation Specialists to find out what happened. The lady on the line didn’t know but said she would message the installers and they would call back shortly. Well, I never heard back from them so I called again and left voice mail that if they don’t show up by 3:00, forget about it. It’s now 2:51 PM so I doubt that they will even show up. I don’t know why anyone would recommend this company. They can’t even keep an appointment to measure windows. They didn’t even have the courtesy to call me and tell me they are running lat but left me hanging. So I will officially cross them off my list.

Scheduled an appointment for 6 pm today to get an estimate for replacement of 5 windows, it’s now 6:40 pm and they haven’t shown up. In addition to them not showing up, their phone number doesn’t ring when I call it but makes an odd sound like something’s wrong it. This is the number listed on the letter they sent me in the mail with my appointment time of today at 6 pm. It’s also the only number on their website. I went to work early today so I could leave early and be home prior to the 6 pm appointment time. Waste of my time.

Had an appointment for Friday the representative never called me did not show up. today is moday and I still havent heard anything. I even called and left 7 messages. I know life happens but everyone has phones.
