After scheduling, you fill out an online questionnaire to help the consultants curate some selections for you based on your budget, favorite designers, etc. ahead of time.The actual in-person appointment was nothing sort of perfect and exceeded all my expectations. Gina was my bridal consultant and I’m not exaggerating when I say that she made the whole experience fantastic. After having an experience at another local bridal shop that left me content to walk down the aisle in my favorite sundress I was incredibly anxious and apprehensive to try again, finding zero dresses I didnt hate.I cant possibly say enough positive things about Kristen, Sarah and the entire team at Bridal Beginning. When I arrived all of the dresses that I had on my wishlist were already there waiting for me try on. Kristen even grabbed a couple that she thought I might like and worked with my body. Out of the 10 or so dresses I tried on that day, I would have been happy to walk down the aisle in 7 of them! They were SO easy to work with, incredibly supportive, encouraging, and my decision was VERY difficult because I loved so many of them. The entire staff including the super nice lady at the desk (whose name I unfortunately cant remember at the moment) even came in to help me decide. Everyone was a delight, and I dont think I could have possibly have had a better experience. I HIGHLY recommend Kristen and team to anyone looking for a wedding dress. I had an awesome experience with Kristen this past weekend. I went to a smaller bridal boutique a few weeks ago to get an idea of what I wanted, which I will always suggest to future brides! Bridal beginnings has SO many options, which is awesome, so I was happy that I went in with a clear picture, since I had previously tried on dresses. Kristen was able to tell exactly what I wanted and we were EFFICIENT! I found my dress in under an hour. I’m so happy about it and excited. Awesome experience!! However, we are not getting my dress altered there because of how expensive it is (starting at $1500). So I cannot comment on alterations.

I had the best experience at Bridal Beginning! When I first walked in those doors, I had no idea what my first bridal dress shopping experience would be like. I would like to give a special shout-out to Marisa. Marisa was there every step of the way - she listened to what I imagined my wedding day being like and what I wanted in a dress. Marisa worked her butt off and brought me so many dresses to try on, helped me in and out of them, and was never ever pushy in any sort of way to try to get me to just buy a dress. She never left my side. I went to a few other places, but ended back at bridal beginning and of course a dress I loved. Marisa was just as excited for me as I was and my family when I said yes to my dress. Not only was Marisa so accommodating, but all the staff were as well. I had the BEST experience at Bridal Beginning! Every person I came in contact with at this shop were not only friendly, but so welcoming and helpful in this process. I had Sara help me on two separate occasions, and she was wonderful to say the least. She is so knowledgeable and has the ability to know what you are looking for shortly into the trying on process. She did bring me a few out of the box styles that I wouldnt have chosen for myself, but they actually looked great too and I was glad to give them a shot to know for sure what I was looking for. I ended up going back to the first dress I had tried on, and she never once pushed me in any certain way about how I felt on a dress. She answered my questions and made me feel so good in all of the dresses, but gave me her opinion when I asked directly for it. I would highly recommend everyone to Bridal Beginning.

I cant say enough about my amazing experience at Bridal Beginning. From the moment I called to book my appointment I was so impressed with their customer service! They were so friendly and truly excited to meet me and help me find my dress! I received not only one, but two text confirmations of my appointment AND a phone call! They were also the only place that had me fill out a preliminary form to see my style and the dresses I was interested in. My consultant, Kristen, was a DREAM! She was fantastic, I felt no pressure to purchase, and when I did find the one I was floored when I looked over at her and saw her in tears. She was in the experience just as much as my guests were. I had the best time at Bridal Beginning picking the dress of my dreams! Kristen & Sara H. were really supportive and made the process smooth and easy. I sent in my picks before my appointment, and when I arrived the dresses I had selected were pre-pulled and hanging up ready for me to try on. From there, we narrowed it down together. They listened to my reactions and helped guide me toward a perfect pick! Both Kristen and Sara H. were realistic too, making sure I felt comfortable, if I could move with ease, if I could use my arms, etc. My dress arrives in April for my July wedding. I was extremely nervous to go dress shopping as I wasnt sure how anything was going to look on my body, but Sara and the team at Bridal Beginning made the experience absolutely amazing. I had an absolutely perfect experience at Bridal Beginning. Dorothy was the one who who helped me find my dress. I showed her photos of what I liked and she pulled dresses that were similar to the style I was looking for. The first dress I tried on ended up being “the one.” Dorothy was very helpful and kind! Karen helped set up all of my fitting appointments. She was a joy to speak to on the phone every time I had an upcoming appointment. My alterations were done by Saida. This woman is an absolute miracle worker. She fit the dress to my body like a glove. The bustle she created was beautiful. I can not say enough wonderful things about this bridal shop and I’m forever grateful for my amazing experience!

I can not speak highly enough about Bridal Beginning!! Our bridal stylist was Laurena and I can honestly say I have never met a sweeter soul in my life. This was the first time I went to try on wedding dresses, and luckily for me it was the last because I said YES to the dress! Before arrival, I filled out a form online for them to see what kind of dresses I liked as well as my wedding Pinterest handle and it was like Laurena read my mind! Every dress I tried on was more beautiful than the next. Ive never had any sort of shopping or retail experience in where I had someone go over every detail with me the way that she did and to just be as genuinely nice and attentive as she was. I really dont have enough words to describe just how wonderful she was and how much of an absolutely incredible experience we had, Ive been telling everyone there is nowhere else to go! Thank you Laurena for making all of my bridal dreams come true and for helping me find the most gorgeous wedding dress I could have ever hoped for. Youre the BEST!!

I completely understand why bridal beginnings has the amazing reviews it does. My experience with Gina was one I’ll never forget. I was extremely anxious and full of dread prior to picking out my dress. I wear a size 12 and was convinced nothing would look good or fit. Gina immediately squashed those fears and made me feel like a rock star the entire time. She was helpful, kind, and easy to talk with. I felt like I could be honest and upfront and she completely took everything I said and ran with it. I was in between 3 dresses until I decided to try one last dress in a different style. Gina picked one out based on my other preferences and found me the perfect dress! I cannot be happier with my dress or with my experience at Bridal Beginnings.

Had the best experience ever. It was my first time trying on dresses, I showed up already worried that I wasnt going to find anything but wow was I wrong. Marisa was absolutely AMAZING in helping me. I didnt know what I wanted, I like a little bit of everything, and Marisa went out of her way to let me try on a variety of dresses. What I loved was that she gave her honest opinion which helped so much in making my decision. I ended up finding my dress, left to go to another appointment where I solidified my decision in that the dress at Bridal Beginning was for me, and Marisa accepted me back with open arms even though the store was about to close. Everyone there was awesome and Im so so happy with my decision.

Words cant describe how full my heart is from all of the magic that happen behind the scenes just to get the one and only dress I loved at the Bridal Beginnings trunk show. Pam worked so hard just to make sure I was able to try on the dress. My family and I drove all the way from Philly to Pittsburgh and it was so worth it. I worked with Sara last Saturday to find the perfect dress and couldnt have asked for a better experience. She had a few of my wish list dresses already pulled and was great at honing in on what exactly I wanted, which I didnt even realize initially was what I wanted! She was super efficient and made the process seamless.

I am so happy to say that I found the ONE at Bridal Beginning in Pittsburgh last month! After trying on many dresses at other salons, this place was a breath of fresh air. Kristen expertly listened to my critiques of each dress and showed me several gorgeous gowns until I found the one that was a perfect combination of everything I was looking for. Also, the salon was beautiful, had a giant selection, and all the staff was kind and fun. I could not recommend this salon and Kristen enough!

Bridal Beginning has the biggest dress selection I have seen when going dress shopping! I went here for a first-time bridal appointment and Sara was the kindest and sweetest consultant! She had all of the dresses on my wishlist ready to go and then picked out some more styles that she thought I would love. I left feeling pretty sure about finding “the one” but I wasn’t ready to say yes that day, which Sara understood. I went to 4 other stores but kept coming back to that one dress, so when I saw they were having a trunk show for that specific designer, I inquired about the dates. The staff there and Sara told me that the designer was actually going to be scheduling a fall trunk show in just a few short weeks with brand new dresses, and made sure to get me an appointment that weekend so that I could try on the new dresses in addition to trying on the dress from the first appointment. I ended up saying yes to the dress during that trunk show weekend, thanks to Sara’s thoughtful opinions and advice when I couldn’t decide between two dresses! My mom and I had so much fun during the appointment thanks to Sara and all of the other friendly and sweet staff members there! I cannot wait to see my dress when it arrives!

Found my dream dress here!!! The questionnaire they have you fill out ahead of time is incredibly helpful, and also fun! Cuts down on the time spent in the salon, and gives the consultants an idea of what youre looking for. I thought I knew my dream dress - I tried it on AFTER finding the one I immediately (& unexpectedly) fell in love with, and it didnt even compare!! Thanks to Marisa, I wouldnt have found the one I ended up purchasing and absolutely loving. I cant wait to wear it again!!!

Can’t recommend bridal beginning enough! My stylist Sara was amazing and took everything I said into consideration. I also didn’t feel pressured to purchase that day, because my mom wasn’t with me I thought about waiting for her to be in town to pick out my dress, but I found the one and couldn’t wait. They have a great selection for plus size brides also I probably tried on 25-30 dresses.

I had an excellent experience at Bridal Beginning in July. My stylist was Kristen and she was the best!! She helped accommodate for my large group by providing seating outside in the shade and allowing me to walk outside the salon to show them the various addresses. Furthermore, she has a stellar eye and picks up on cues fast. The dress I ultimately picked was one not on my wishlist but one she selected while working with me in the salon. Kristen made me feel comfortable and helped me make decisions - her rule of thumb of never having more than 3 favorites was so helpful. I am obsessed with my dress and am so happy to have found it at such a wonderful place. Dont sleep on Bridal Beginning - they rock!

I had an amazing experience at Bridal Beginning! This was the first (and ended up being the only!) place that I looked for my wedding dress. The salon was absolutely gorgeous and every person working there was incredible. Kristen was my consultant for the day and I cannot say enough great things about her. She pulled gowns based on the wish list that I had provided prior to the appointment, pulled a ton of gorgeous dresses, listened to every single one of my concerns, and ended up finding me the PERFECT dress! Great experience!! Sara at Bridal Beginning was so helpful with find the perfect dress for my special day. I came to Bridal Beginning having only gone to one other bridal shop, so I was still very confused on what style, silhouette, and details I wanted. Sara worked through so many options and picked up on cues about how I wasn’t feeling like a bride in some styles. She even could that I subconsciously reacted to the weight of the material (I wanted to feel light and dreamy). Sara made sure I felt, not only beautiful, but like THE bride in my dress. She stayed open at the store extra late to help finish the look off with a perfect veil and belt. She graciously finished off the by taking pictures of me, my mother, future mother in law, and grandmother instead of pushing us out the door because it was a little past closing time. I had a tremendous experience there, and will cherish the special memory. (p.s. definitely use the front room mirror, the lighting is unreal!!)

I had a wonderful experience looking for my wedding dress at Bridal Beginning. My consultant was Marisa and she was the BEST. She was very knowledgeable and quickly picked up on the style and type of dress I wanted. I found a dress I loved but was hesitant to say yes so soon, but Marisa was very patient with me. I scheduled another appointment with Marisa to try on the dress I loved again and was ready to say yes. I would not have had such a great experience if it wasnt for Marisas help and expertise.

YOU NEED TO GO TO BRIDAL BEGINNING!! I promise, you will not be disappointed!I was recently dress shopping at a different salon and had an okay experience. When I made my appointment at Bridal Beginning, I figured it’d be like the first dress shopping experience I had. I was indifferent and worried this appointment would go in the wrong direction like my last. I was soooo wrong! Gina made me feel like her #1 priority right off the bat. Talking to her came naturally and I felt as if she knew exactly what I was searching for. She knew exactly how to direct the appointment and gave her opinion when I needed it and would step away to look for other dresses as my family and I awh’d over what I was in. I didn’t want the appointment to end. Dress after dress I kept thinking how will I ever choose. Every dress Gina pulled, I loved! If there was something I was unsure of Gina made sure to make note and move on to the next dress. There was no time wasted! I never once felt rushed or pressured. I truly got to enjoy every minute of my appointment. Gina made me feel like family and every employee there was genuine. If the dress wasn’t right they wouldn’t sway you into make an abrupt decision. Since Gina knocked it out of the park and gave me so many beautiful options, I struggled to choose a dress at the end of our appointment. Gina swiftly stepped in and told me to get into a robe, have some water and take a breather. She told me she’d be back with one dress to help me decide between the two I was struggling to choose between. I thought to myself, how will that work when I don’t even know what decision to make. She started to explain, once she brings the dress back if I was excited, it was the one and if I was disappointed then it wasn’t. She said it hasn’t failed her yet. When she knocked on the door, their was a knot in my throat. In my head, I still had no idea which dress to choose. As soon as I saw the dress she chose between my final two, I felt relieved and knew her trick had worked. I was so happy she was able to help my very indecisiveness. The appointment didn’t end there. Gina made sure to be as accurate as she could while taking my measurements to ensure we ordered the right size. Once she was done, she showed me where I measured and explained why she thought I should order the certain dress size. I enjoyed every explanation and the time she took with me to ensure I understood what was going on. Bridal Beginning is a dream! I went to several bridal stores near where I live in Ohio and could not find anything I was completely in love with. I heard many great thing about Bridal Beginning and decided to take a day and drive with my mother to Pittsburgh to see the selection as I have a short time frame before my wedding. I recently came in for an appointment to find my wedding dress and I cannot say enough great things about the experience I had with Laurena as my consultant.From the time my mom, sisters and I arrived, she was professional, fun and most importantly positive. She was certain we would find a dress that I would both look and feel great in. After the first hour and a half and roughly 10-15 dresses, I was starting to lose confidence that I was going to find a dress. I tried on many that were close, but not “the one”. With each dress I continued to label a “no”, Laurena never lost composure, or tried to push me into loving something that just was not what I wanted. She continued to bring more dresses and listened intently for my feedback on each dress and we continued to get closer. Pairing together my favorite things from some of the dresses I tried on, Laurena finally brought the one. If I am being honest, looking at it on the hanger I wasn’t sure I would like it, but she encouraged me to give it a try, and sure enough as soon as I put it on and showed my family, I knew it was perfect for me! I truly appreciated her patience and guidance, she sure has a knack for styling a bride to look and feel their best on one of the most important days of their life!

I have dreamt of trying on wedding dresses since I was a little girl. I must say Marisa has made that dream come true! I couldn’t of imagined having a better experience. She knew from the time I walked in what would fit my body type. That dress could have been lime green and I would have chosen it because it was so perfect on my body. Bridal Beginning is the best. Their store is fabulous. It has a wide selection of dresses from different designers, at different price-points, and in a range of sample sizes so you get a true sense of what you’ll look like on the day! I was looking for an extremely specific style and they had a multitude of dresses that fit the look, unlike other shops. They keep the temperature comfortable so you’re not overheating when trying on dresses (which is an odd thing to note but makes the experience so much better). They are easy to schedule with and have COVID-19 safety protocols. You are only allowed 2 guests, but having too many people can be stressful. Plus, I didn’t say yes immediately at my appointment on Saturday so they fit me in on Monday and I was able to bring different guests that day to ensure it was THE ONE! Sending in a list of dresses you like before can feel a bit overwhelming, but made the process so smooth! The consultant (Marissa) made sure I was happy and finding what I felt beautiful and bridal in! She pulled dresses beyond my list and actually one of those was THE ONE! I’d highly recommend this shop.

I cannot recommend Bridal Beginning enough for any brides on the hunt for beautiful dresses and a seamless, easeful, fun experience to find the one! Marissa was so incredibly amazing when I came in to find my dress. I felt so understood and seen when I arrived based on all of the information they had asked of me before I arrived. Every single time I called the store to figure out alterations or picking up my dress, I was met with a kind hearted, warm greeting and always had the easiest time getting answers and figuring things out. Gina was SO helpful and such a blessing! I was extremely nervous for my dress appointment but she made me feel completely at ease. Bridal Beginnings is a lovely place! Prior to arrival, I expected most of the dresses to be out of my budget but was excited that they carried dresses in my budget. Laurena helped me during my appointment and she was just lovely. She was more than happy to help me in and out of many dresses and gave me many options for coming back if I needed to. I ended up finding a dress at another location, but wish I would have found a dress there because they were so nice.

KRISTEN is the best!!! Best I have worked with in the Pittsburgh area! Knowledgable, confident, & REAL! She had pulled my picks ahead of time, matched my speed (if i immediately knew I didnt like it, she said take it off, lets move on) and understood MY style (which is HUGE) which all made for the perfect consultant! My situation was a little unconventional — I second guessed my previously purchased wedding gown (purchased elsewhere) and contacted Bridal Beginning via social media on a whim to see if I even had enough time to look for another dress. Without hesitation, Pam was so quick to respond while showing such kindness and willingness to help. She asked me what I was looking for and began sending me ideas, even outside of business hours. I could go on and on about all the things she did to help me (even prior to me having an appt!), but trust when I say she truly went above and beyond trying to help me find something, especially with my timeline. She got me an appt and that’s where I met Sarah. Sarah was so easy to work with in search of my wedding dress. She was extremely patient, kind, and helpful. She would listen to what I thought I wanted but then when that wasn’t working out she knew exactly what dress to pull which ended in me finally finding a dress I love and don’t second guess one bit!! Words truly can’t express how grateful I am for Bridal Beginning, especially Pam and Sarah for helping me out in such an uncertain, stressful time. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better experience anywhere, for anything! I encourage ALL future brides to go there!!!

My husband and I are finally having our big wedding this fall after having to change plans last year due to Covid. We married in a small private ceremony and this fall, doing everything we originally planned and for it, I knew I wanted a new dress to fit with the vision we have for our fall vow renewal. This is where Marisa came in. When I arrived and met with her during my appointment, I explained our small wedding and our vision for our vow renewal. I told her I wanted something different and with color and that I had a specific dress in mind. They didnt have the dress I wanted to try on but she brought back other options instead. The VERY FIRST DRESS I put on, was THE ONE. Marisa listened to me, knew I wanted something different, not ivory or white, and something that would stand out and she delivered. I could not be more happy or impressed with the service I received at BB. 10/10 would recommend BB and Marisa as the Consultant.

From beginning to end, my experience with BB was nothing short of incredible. I live in Columbus, Ohio and tried to find my gown at many well respected boutiques in the area, but none of them had the selection, customer service, and just overall experience that you get at BB. I worked with Marisa who was so great. She is everything you want in a consultant. She pulled what ended up being my wedding gown first, but still suggested trying on multiple after just so I knew it was the one. I didn’t feel rushed at all and it left me feeling confident in my choice. Marisa made the process so fun (even with COVID restrictions). The ladies who run the place are so professional and attentive. They made sure all questions were answered, made reminder calls, and made me feel so special when I was at the boutique. And finally, Sieda, the alterations guru. She is the absolute sweetest and can make anything happen! I fully trusted her the entire process. At first, I was reluctant to do the alterations in house since I live 3 hours away, but she made sure to have my alterations done in as few visits as possible and I am so glad I went through her. I would have traveled another 10 hours if I had to. 1000/10 experience!

I had such a wonderful experience here! I live in CA and had probably tried on over 50 dresses in CA before going to Bridal Beginning. Im VERY picky when it comes to clothes/shoes, etc., and I figured it would take a long time for me to find a dress I loved. With all of the fancy designer stores we have in CA, I never expected to find the dress in Pittsburgh, but I wanted to try on some dresses in my hometown so that my mom and sister could be involved in the process. Marisa was so wonderful and really listened to me/got my style. She helped me find the perfect dress! I also used their alteration services. Saida was awesome to work with! My dress fit like a glove! She also was able to work around my schedule, as I live in CA and had limited availability to come for my fittings. I cannot thank everyone at Bridal Beginning enough! My dress was perfect and I received so many compliments!

As soon as I found out Bridal Beginning sold Lazaro, I called about the dress. They didn’t have it but made sure they could get me a sample. When I went for my appointment I was confident that the dress was the one, but scared that I may not be the one for the dress. As a full figured woman, I was very concerned that the dress could be too revealing on me & that I wouldn’t do it justice. At that time, I hadn’t found any women who looked like me that had worn the dress. Dorothy told me that they knew this dress would love me as much as I loved it. My mom is a great judge of character & so I knew I could trust her when she said “they know what they’re doing.” Mother is always right. Saida was an angel to me during the alteration process. She always reassured me & helped me design a custom top for more coverage and picked the perfect belt to give my waist definition. I’m forever grateful to you, Saida. Thank you for making me fall in love all over again.
