Nina was so kind and patient! She really listened to what I wanted and selected the perfect options to try on. I ultimately selected a dress I never would have picked on my own, but Nina was able to make the connection based on my feedback. I was also able to meet the owner who was an absolute gem. I felt so comfortable and welcomed for the entirety of my visit. I would 10/10 recommend, especially when there are so many options when choosing a bridal dress!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! There’s not enough words to say how special the girls and Greg (the owner) himself made me feel at Ann Gregory during my appointment yesterday! I went in there with a heavy heart due to losing a very important person in my life a few days ago ( excited and sad at the same time) From the minute I walked into the salon my family and I were greeted with a warm welcome. I had an idea of what kind of dress I wanted, the girls did a good job picking similarities. I tried on about 5 dresses (which I strictly said I wanted all white) though these dresses were beautiful they just weren’t “it” for me personally. In the meantime Greg went back and pulled a dress out that I absolutely fell it love with (which was ivory) and had that “this is the one” moment. From pinning my hair back and putting a beautiful veil on me and Greg telling me he can get me the dress in WHITE I instantly fell more in love with the dress and the entire experience. Needless to say it was a very emotional day and made me feel that my loved one was smiling in heaven seeing me in this dress. I cannot express the genuine and kind response I got from everyone at the salon. I cannot wait to see my dress when it comes in! 100% recommend all brides to stop in, you will definitely leave with a smile!

I had the most incredible experience with the entire Anne Gregory team!!I knew I did not want to wear a traditional dress, but found as I was shopping I kept trying on white dresses and never having the tears in the eyes, this is it moment. Getting discouraged, I saw a completely sequin gown on a mannequin. It was not intended to be bridal, but as a last effort, I asked the team if I could try it on. IT WAS THE ONE! Hesitant at first if I could pull it off, the team was an absolute blast to work with and made me feel so confident I was choosing the right dress. Also important to note, my initial shopping appointment was private which made the experience so comfortable and different from other salons I visited.Everyone at the salon was kind, professional, and made me feel so special every time I went. My dress came quickly after ordering and throughout the entire process (which was during the COVID pandemic), the team was excellent with communication. I also got the dress altered at Anne Gregory and they did an incredible job. The shop is conveniently located in Mt. Lebanon on Washington Road, and it was always easy to get in and out.No matter what dress type you may be looking for, highly recommend this group!!

I was here with my best friend while she shopped for a wedding dress. We could not have been more pleased with the selection and service. The owner, Greg and the ladies working there were all so knowledgeable and sweet. The level of service here, compared to other bridal boutiques in the area, is unmatched. Anne Gregory is a one of a kind place. The dresses are all high quality and the staff is so easy to work with. We all highly recommend this place and I will be sending any bride I meet to them. You will not find any place quite like this. I can not stress enough how amazing the service is.

Within the past year, both my mother and myself purchased our dresses at Ann Gregory. I purchased my wedding gown, while my mother purchased her Mother of the Bride dress. My experience began one year ago, when I went to Ann Gregory for the first time. I held an appointment, where the entire staff waited on me personally. I spent some time and selected a dress. Once my dress arrived Lisa, who is beyond talented when it comes to altering, worked to create the best fitting gown I have even seen. She sweet-hearted the neckline and sculpted my dress to fit me like a glove. It was literally the most beautiful fitting dress I have ever seen. The staff assisted me carefully to choose the perfect accessories to make my dress shine, as I wanted it too. My mother also had secretly requested the staff to sew a piece of my grandmothers nightgown into the dress. The cut a beautiful lace heart and carefully stitched it into the underneath of my dress. Thanks to them, I had my grandmother with me on my wedding day.My mother also had a great shopping experience, purchasing a gown from the trunk show after only viewing a handful of dresses. Anne Gregory is the only place to go when starting the journey to find your dress. Ive known I wanted to go here since I was younger and when the day came to finally go, I was not disappointed! My dress buying day was an experience! I brought a bunch of my girls with me, and we were put in a private room, with tons of space for all of us. We were given plenty of attention from all of the staff, even Greg himself styled me! I brought pictures of what I was looking for and they brought down those dresses and even some they thought I would like and I ended up loving them. My entire bridal party cried when we found the one! The entire process from start to now approaching my final fitting has been phenomenal. I cant wait for the days where I get to go back to Anne Gregory, the whole place makes you feel like a princess. Their selection, their staff, and their kind words are truly the only way to look for a wedding dress. Greg is a talented, generous, and loving owner who wants each of his brides to have a phenomenal day. I wish I had another wedding so I could go and do it again.

I found my wedding gown at Anne Gregory back in October, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience! The Dress needed a Very small adjustment so she took it to a local Alterations Shop in Pittsburgh. The Dress was to be done 3 days before wedding. When we went to pick up the gown the scheduled day there was a sign on the door that the shop was CLOSED and wouldnt open until the day After the wedding!!In tears, shock and then panic we got online to find the closest wedding store to purchase another gown...That store was....Anne Gregory!NO appointment, we ring the bell at the door and were welcomed in by Stephanie. My daughter, in tears, explains what just happened. It was incredible how kind her and Greg were, both of them took my daughter under their wings, treating us like family and found her an even more beautiful gown in the store. It was a sample dress so needed to be taken in, which could have been a huge issue but they had the dress altered in 1 hour!!Thank you again.

I went to pretty much every bridal store in Pgh, and purchased a dress at Davids Bridal because I honestly gave up! I thought Anne Gregory was too expensive for me to even try. After being persuaded by my sister to just go because I was so unhappy, we made an appointment. Not only did they stick to my budget price of $2,000, I had the whole team helping me find my PERFECT dress. Greg is so amazing and hilarious! Everyone is honest with you and truly trying to find you the dream dress. It is like being in a fairy tale as you try on these gorgeous dresses in the perfect atmosphere.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANY BRIDE! I have a lovely experience here. Im not really a girlie girl and felt uncomfortable in shopping for dresses. The staff here made me feel at ease at once and I found myself enjoying the experience that I once dreaded. I found the perfect dress and couldnt be happier. On another note, upon admiring the architecture of the building he owner then walked me around the shop sharing with me the story of its history and the renovation process. As an architecture junkie it completely added to the experience and was deeply appreciated. Thank you!

Me and friend who is the bride was just at this place, and to be honest they were very rude and unwelcoming. I dont know maybe because of the colour of our skin but thats the kind of vibe we were getting. So if u black stay away.

Future brides, you MUST go here to find your dream dress. Ive always dreamed of experiencing my “saying yes to the dress process. I looked at bridal magazines and thought I wanted a certain type of dress. I told myself to keep an open mind though. After all, you only do this once in your life right? Michelle, my consultant was very helpful as she listened to what I thought I wanted. She made me feel comfortable in every single dress I tried on. After trying on maybe 6 dresses and realizing that some things I liked and some things I clearly did not, Greg (the owner) was talking to my mother and Matron of Honor and listening to our conversation of my likes and dislikes on the dresses. He said “Hold on, I’ll be back.” Little did I know, he knew the exact dress for me. Greg and Michelle knew I felt different when I walked out. They started to help me imagine myself on my wedding day! It worked, once Greg put the veil on it was instant water works for me and my Mother and MOH. It is truly amazing how he listened to everything I was saying and found a dress he knew would check all the boxes on my list. If you put your trust into these consultants you will not be disappointed. Also, if you don’t keep an open mind and try on their suggestions, you may miss your dress. I ABSOLUTELY love my dress even though it was not what I originally thought I would wear on my wedding day. Both Michelle and Greg were great about staying within my budget. Trust me! I am so glad I made this appointment at Anne Gregory and so will you.

This is a very snooty place. It was the very first bridal shop I went to after I was engaged because I read so many reviews that they treat you so well. I really wanted the say yes to the dress experience. They were incredibly rude and uptight. The lady that helped me put on dresses didnt talk to me at all and it was very awkward. Its almost like she didnt want to be there. They made prudish comments about how my budget was too low for them ~$1500 more than a few times. I didnt want to try on one of the dresses and the owner seemed to take it offensively.They were really rude to my family too; my mom and mother in law were very upset and we cut the appointment short. The dresses were ok, the lace was kind of old fashioned. There were a couple dresses I liked, but honestly with how they treated me, I wouldnt have bought a dress there even if I loved it.

After 6 alteration appointments, my dress fit alright. Not to mention I picked it up 2 days before my wedding because it hadnt been ready early because of all of the appointments. It was a huge hassle working with most of the staff. The consultant I worked with at my first visit to find my dress and the last seamstress I worked with were the only ones I felt cared about my experience. The manager and owner were very rude to me and my family at points. Do not recommend.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!These people are ridiculous. They sold me a dress that was double my budget, and the only reason I decided to go with this dress, is because he said it was custom fit. I figured, I wont have to spend any more money on alterations, because he said it would be perfect (maybe a tack on the straps but nothing major!)Well, I shopped at their store and had them send the dress to my house in Massachusetts. They charged me $100.00 for shipping, when they originally told me the shipping was free.Not only was this dress NOT custom fit, it was enormous. I asked them what I should do, and if they would help with alteration cost since it was NOTHING NEAR custom fit. He said We never said it wouldnt need alterations. I WOULDNT HAVE SPENT $4000.00 FOR A DRESS THAT WAS JUST A RANDOM SIZE.These people are a COMPLETE SCAM! DO NOT GO HERE! If you dont regret it the day youre there, I PROMISE you WILL regret it sometime before your wedding.My perfect day was ruined by this dress that I thought WOULD BE my dream dress.Complete disappointment.

Got my dress here a few months back and had a great experience. I clearly stated my budget ahead of time on the phone for which they told me I would be best accommodated in the clearance area (2nd floor). They helped me get in an out of dozens of dresses for over 2 hours, partially while I waited for my sister to show up after sleeping in. I was very happy with the selection they had within my tiny budget and ended up finding my dress in my budget as a sample in the designer I loved. Great experience all around and couldnt be happier with the dress (now being altered to fit my smaller frame) but still in my budget. We hope to return in the near future to help my mom find a mother of the bride dress.As a follow up, my mother came into town to shop for a dress, and luckily for us found her dress very quickly at another store. I called Anne Gregory to cancel the appointment later in the day only to get seemingly reprimanded by the staff for scheduling multiple appointments in a day. Im sorry it turned out this way but certainly didnt expect to get this distaste left behind from canceling the appointment.

This past weekend was my weekend to go wedding dress shopping. I was nervous, but so excited. My mom and sister who live about 4 hours away from Pittsburgh made the trip in Friday, and off we went. The very first dress I tried on Friday was the dress I thought I was going to buy. But as we got back to my house Friday, I couldnt help but have some hesitation - I didnt really like the neckline on me, and the back wasnt as detailed as I had hoped (the only thing I really, truly wanted for my wedding dress was a gorgeous back). As I woke up Saturday morning though, I thought I would head back to that salon to buy that dress.And then, my sister and I traveled to Dormont Saturday morning for my 9:30 appointment, thinking we would try one more place before I would commit to that dress. We arrived at Anne Gregory, and Im not going to lie, we walked in and I thought to myself that there was no way any of the dresses there would be in my budget. The interior of the bridal boutique is elegant, clean, and just makes you feel like youre in a castle. But, we were there and I said to my sister what could it hurt to at least try on more dresses.We were then greeted by Chelsea. Chelsea asked me if I had tried on dresses before, what I liked and didnt like, and what I was really looking for. After describing to her as best as I could what I was looking for, she politely asked for my budget ($2000) - something that wasnt done the day before. To my surprise, she didnt laugh in my face and escort me out the door. Within 5 minutes, she had about 6 dresses for me to try on. I had a beautiful dressing room, and had an entire section of the store to model the dress with large mirrors, and a couch for my sister to sit on.Everyone says that you will know when you find the right dress. The 3rd dress Chelsea had me try on was that dress for me. Before I even looked in the mirror, I had a feeling. I walked out of the dressing room and my sisters jaw dropped. We were both in awe of how perfect this dress was for me. It had a beautifully detailed back, and a neckline that really complimented my body. Chelsea did an outstanding job of holding the dress in certain places so I could truly get a feel for what it would look like fitted. She then called Maryanne to come help make the illusion of what the dress would look like once it truly fits me. The both of them were just fantastic and did not stop complimenting me in the dress. I ended up trying on the other 3 dresses after that for fun, but nothing compared to the gown I decided to buy - which was $300 under my budget (the original dress I was going to buy was $300 over)!!!!My mom currently has cancer, and she was very sick Saturday morning, so she was unable to join my sister and I which was heart-wrenching for me. The staff was so supportive when we decided to FaceTime her once we knew I had found my wedding dress. They gave my sister and I privacy, and were just so kind towards the dilemma we were in.So, long story short, Anne Gregory for the Bride made my wedding dress shopping experience the best it possibly could be under the circumstances. I was so pleased with everyone, the boutique itself, and their prices. I would recommend this place to any bride looking for her dream wedding dress - they will make it happen for you!

Came there with my daughter. We were first appt of the day and yet it didnt seem anyone was ready for us. If we are your 10 Am, then you should be damn near wating at the door for us, instead we received a luke warm reception and was left in silence a few times for way to long. I have to say the young lady that helped my daughter try on dresses was polite and seemed to really be good at her role as a stylist, however I just didnt feel like we were welcomed in the store. I suggested this store to my daughter so I was disappointed that with all my excitement that the service was weak. The store appears dated and so there was some concern that maybe they didnt have nice things but I think they did. I dont plan on recommneding any one here as I cant state that I loved the experience. I believe there was some hesitation of do we or can we afford a dress in that store, not sure but just didnt get treated like we were wanted and if you are a wedding store, shouldnt you be excited when a bride choses your store to seach for that special day dress? Didnt get that.

True Story: After waiting over an hour in traffic we made our way to Anne Gregory for the Bride in Dormont PA. It was my daughter’s 1st chance to try on wedding gowns. We have a small window of time, as she had to move her date up from December to October due to family conflicts. She tried on 5 gowns- pretty much knew exactly what she wanted. She fell in love with- and looked amazing- in a Monique Lhuillhier gown. It was perfect. The owner gave us a nice discount on the stock dress, knowing of our time crunch. A bit over budget, yet I was prepared to buy…pending a visit to one other bridal salon in Pittsburgh so she could make sure it was exactly what she wanted. I explained my plan to the owner. He said “I wish you had told me that in advance or I wouldn’t have kept my staff here an extra hour and a half”. He turned on his heels and walked away. PS- We left the salon at 7:05. They are open on Thursdays until 7:00. So we were obligated to buy and not permitted to check out another store? Hmmmm. Interesting business model. You ruined her night, lost a likely sale, and showed your true colors to a woman who works with young brides every day. PS- Just read the reply to my review 1. We called twice to let the owner know we were stuck in traffic. 2. When I was saying the names of other bridal shops there was NO ONE in the store beyond us and the staff. The owner should give up on customer service- a job which he cant grasp- and take up fiction writing.

One of the WORST customer service experiences Ive ever endured.Greg - total diva queen.Came with a couple of my bridemsaids. We are all younger, mid-20s and were kinda dressed down for the day. He looked at us as if we were homeless. Which one is Carly? He asked. Took one look at me and rolled his eyes! Talk about a Pretty Woman moment! Not the way a soon-to-be bride wants to feel on one of the funnest days of their lives...He pulled a couple nice dresses but didnt really inquire about budget. Let me tell you - these dresses are totally overpriced. Brought in a couple photos from a designer I liked - they pulled the dresses, I later compared the price to the one online. HUGE difference.Tried on a few dresses. Found the one. It was awesome. Bridesmaid near tears! We still had a few more to try on. I said to my bridesmaids Yeah.. my mom will definitley need to see this one. Greg said in absolute horror Wait. Did I just hear that your mom needs to see this. I told him, yes. Well lets just set up another appointment, he said.We had driven an hour to Ann Gregory. Really? He just wanted to end the appointment like that. Well Im already here, why are we just ending this one?. He was uninterested from that point forward. If you arent going to buy then and there, dont bother.Extremely rude, pushy. I made sure to write down the make and model of the dress - I wil be buying this dress from another dealer. Shame for them. If they had treated me with a little respect they would have had the sale.

Really made me feel comfortable and the staff was vey professional. They also never made me feel rushed or pushy. Great people!

I didnt need to even go into this store, they were rude enough on the telephone.

Summary: If I had a drink every time gregory made a snide comment about one of my concerns or rolled his eyes, I MIGHT have been drunk enough to deal with the absolutely stuck-up environment. We were pressured to buy, and gregory was rude. Not rude like kind of annoying, but rude like legitimately disrespectful. I said that i wanted to think about a certain dress and that there were 2 other places that I wanted to try as well to try on dresses and he actually made fun of me and told me that if I wanted to waste my time doing that then its my problem. I was fairly disgusted when I left. The whole experience was belittling and full of pressure. I wouldnt buy that damn dress now even if I fell in love with it.thanks for your reply. I just want to point out that you ASKED what other salons I was going to, so I told you. Also, noone was there to hear it as we were in a separate room and I would never ANNOUNCE something like that (also, I would have to have yelled it to get other people to hear it, which I didnt, I actually remember telling you from the dressing room). I simply said, before I make a decision I would like to look at a few other places. Also, in your defense, the conversation where you told me it was rude to announce that never happened... just didnt. So I dont know what that was. but please, for other clients who werent satisfied (and it happens, it just wasnt my cup of tea, not to say it wouldnt be someone elses as Im sure you know as you mentioned multiple awards your salon has been awarded) dont announce someones budget on a google review. My review could have been nicer, yes. and I apologize for my brashness as I was frazzled and upset with the pressure that 2nd day and the way I felt when I left. But, yes, I was unhappy and could have put that into nicer words, however, you shouldnt announce a persons budget because its private for a lot of people. Im not saying that to be anything but constructive in a positive way. you did pressure me, and you did have a laugh and a good eye roll when I didnt buy, which is fine, maybe I would too after a client looks for 2 hours.:) I get it. Also, it was my brothers idea to come to your shop in the first place and he would never roll his eyes at me in a wedding dress. He just wouldnt and he didnt so please know that if you honestly believe that, you are recalling it incorrectly. My father wasnt bored with it either, he was tired from his 50+ hour work week and chose to come (I argued against it as I know he could use a day to chill on the couch but he insisted.) Im not sure how bringing my family into your response is helpful. Im sorry you didnt like my review, and yes, I could have written it more kindly, but your reply back was not constructive, clearly done in anger, and also inaccurate. Thank you for your thoughts, though, and Im sorry my words were unkind enough to solicit your attention. Perhaps your review met mine evenly in brashness.
