I went to the white orchid to search for a bridal gown and OHHHH MY GOSH!! Tracy and the staff were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! They made me feel like a queen, I wouldn’t of wanted anything but what I experienced! There selection of wedding dresses were everything I pictured. I picked 5 dresses and loved them ALL. The one I chose wasn’t available right away and the other lady (who wasn’t even helping me try on dresses) went out of her way to search for it so I could get it sooner. After a lot of patience and guidance from Tracy I was able to SAY YES TO A DRESS!!!! Thank you lady’s you made my wedding dress experience something I’ll never forget!

I went to White Orchid to look for my wedding dress, and everyone there was so friendly and helpful! They have so many beautiful gowns in different price ranges. While I didn’t end up getting my gown there, I never felt pressured and the staff didn’t try to push a sale. They left the decision up to me in the end, which I really appreciated! I had a wonderful experience at the White Orchid, and I felt I needed to write a review about how great the staff was to work with, specifically my consultant Tracy. Even though I never said yes to a wedding dress from the White Orchid, they were kind enough to hold a dress I loved for a week (it was on the rack of discontinued dresses so it was a buy and take and I didnt want to lose the possibility of having it.) I just wanted my mom to see it first, as she was unable to attend when I first went. Tracy was so wonderful to work with, she was sweet, patient, and not pushy. My whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The information form I was able to submit prior to my appointment was meaningful and easy to complete. I also received an email reminder and very kind phone call to verify my appointment date and time. With my sister and mom in New York, I was unsure of how I’d feel shopping for a bridal dress all by myself. My worries we’re quickly washed away the second I walked in the front door. I was greeted by Tonya who continued to work closely with me throughout the duration of my appointment. I described the style I liked and also a specific dress I was curious to try to - which luckily was in stock. Tonya offered me the support of a missing mother and sister while assisting me as a specialist as well. Tonya went above and beyond with helping me to take photos and FaceTime my family. She made me feel like a princess in every dress I tried on. The dresses she picked out for me were so flattering and complimented my figure. I could tell she knew what she was talking about!!! When I got to the end of my appointment, Tonya and her coworkers joined me in the viewing area and offered me the love and commentary I was missing with my family being 5.5 hours away. They even applauded when I said “yes”! It was like my mom and sister were right there with me, just looked a little different haha! The White Orchid offered an easy, warm, and loving experience. I am so happy to be a White Orchid bride!! Thank you Tonya, Jefferi, and all other staff for being so much more than staff and taking place as family!

Do not ever use the white orchid they treated me and my daughter horribly I bought and paid for over a $1300.00 dollar wedding dress from them when it came in it was yellow and discolored. The owner refused to give me a refund and with the wedding growing closer I had to buy another wedding dress. The owner told me once she sold the yellowed dress off the rack she would refund me what she got for it not what we paid for it. It’s been a year and I still call and leave messages about our refund but never get a call back

This shop and everyone in it is absolutely wonderful! My appointment was so much fun. Tonya was a blast to work with. I found my dress, two dresses in! Jefferi is also amazing, we want to add an additional layer of sparkle to the skirt of my dress and when a more affordable option came in she called me right away. WOW! This store and its owners were just fantastic. I walked in with a request for a dress in my size, as I was getting married in a month. I also live in Michigan, so I only had the one day to choose and buy. Not only did they have an ample selection in size 16 (size 12 clothes), they brought me dresses that I would have never picked off the rack ... and I bought one of those! After visiting several stores, I asked to come back to buy it, and they met me after-hours to accommodate me. What customer service! The dress is incredible, and I got SO MANY compliments at my Vegas wedding!!

Honestly didnt think I would ever find a dress until one day by luck my bridesmaid found The White Orchid and they were available for us to stop in and look at some dresses. Tonya was AWSOME from the time we stepped into the store till the time we stepped out. She really got to understand what I wanted in a dress and pulled the most beautiful dresses. She was really great at helping me envision anything I wanted. She was running all around the shop for me, which I highly appreciated and felt really bad for. They really go the extra mile to help you find the dress you love! I believe that anyone who stops in here will have the same experience as I did or even better ! :)

I recently bought my wedding dress at the White Orchid. The owner made the experience so special and treated me like a QUEEN. The salon has a great selection of dresses and different designers. The owner was very accommodating to my party as well. My mother and bridal party all walked out with dresses the same day. I highly recommend this salon to any bride, mother of the bride, or bridesmaid. The store is clean, well priced, and most importantly, the ladies are so friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed!!!!

My mom, my friend who is a 2nd mom to me and I went here to find my moms mother of the bride dress as my wedding is coming up in September of this year. I am 30 my mom is 53 and my friend is 80. We went during quarantine last month and we all agreed the owner was nothing but amazing and the store was just as great! She was so helpful, honest and made us feel comfortable. She didnt rush us at all either day we were there and the first day we were there for hours! She made my mom feel so pretty in every dress she tried on -especially the one she picked!‐ the prices were very reasonable and she has a great selection for any occasion! Anyways..we just went today to pick it up and she was just as helpful as the first day and she was such a delight to work with. All 3 of us would recommend her shop any day! The lady who posted below about her deposit not being returned has no right to say those things and downgrade her that way! She needs to realize all of us brides and how many are losing thousands of dollars on every aspect of their wedding because of these hard times. $275 is nothing compared to what most people are going through! I wish I knew about her store before I purchased my wedding gown or I wouldve shopped there also. For anyone doubting shopping at the white orchid because of a negative comment I assure you it will be a great experience customer service wise and so many beautiful dresses!!!! You wont regret it!!

This was the first and only bridal shop I had to go to to find my dress. They were super accommodating (let me come in the day after Christmas when they weren’t supposed to be open). The experience was very personal and all of the consultants were extremely helpful and friendly. The owner was also very helpful when I came in for alterations and decided to look for a bridesmaid dress for a friend’s wedding (there were several others there at the time and she was helping everyone). Overall great experience and would recommend checking it out if you need a dress!

My sister had the BEST experience shopping for a wedding dress from The White Orchid! The owner was so kind and helpful. She scheduled a private appointment for my sister and was so patient with all of our guests. My sister ended up finding the perfect gown and we even picked out a few bridesmaids dresses during the appointment as well! Prom was canceled and they wont return anybodys money for dresses that cant be used. Just buy the dress for no reason. Your going to keep the deposit and then just sell the dress to someone else next year. You arent just going to throw it away. The rest of us have lost jobs and money too

This bridal salon is not only beautiful, but, so friendly. They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. My daughter-in- law did not have an appointment, but, they took her in and made time for her. She ended up getting her wedding gown that day. The owner and employees have great attention to detail. Will definitely visit again.

Rant!!!!!As our Baldwin/Whitehall seniors haven’t had enough heartbreak this year, White Orchid Bridal located in Whitehall has denied my daughter her $227 deposit she put down on a Prom dress.She was told to forfeit the deposit or buy the dress For a Prom that was canceled..I honestly had high expectations of white Orchid doing the right thing and boy was I wrong!!I’m sure she wasn’t the only young lady that has paid for or put a deposit on a dress.So how much FREE MONEY off of these seniors will they walk away with?Sorry it just blows my mind that a local business in our community would do this to the seniors in their back yard.White Orchid to do the right thing!!!!!

The White Orchid is amazing! I am getting married this August and needed to find a maid of honor dress ASAP as a different bridal shop messed up the previous dress. Nicole helped us find a wonderful dress and was able to get the dressed rushed ordered for us to be in on time. The staff truly cares about their customers and that is really appreciated. White Orchids customer service was excellent. Barb was very sweet and helpful and didnt make me feel rushed at all. I think I managed to try on about 15 dresses, which was a lot of fun! Overall, they have a decent selection of dresses, but I recall the lower floors selection being pretty underwhelming (and cold!). I did not end up buying my dress here, only because I happened to find *the* dress at another store.

I went to look at wedding dresses here, I absolutely loved this place. Vonnie the woman who helped me was amazing. She was so helpful, kind and had so much patience with my 2 kids, 5 and 6. I found more dresses I loved here than at Davids bridal. Highly recommend coming here! I didnt even have an apt and was able to get in to try on dresses. I cant say enough good things about them!

This has got to be the most piss poor customer service I have ever witnessed. I apologize to my future daughter-in-law for ever recommending we go there. She is still waiting for a bridal gown that was originally ordered (incorrectly) last July. Oh, and just a note to Lynn...if someone asks to speak to the owner, you dont tell them you dont know where they are...you find them!! Someone needs to go to remedial customer service class!!

Love this place, I am getting married tomorrow, the dress I originally got, did not fit in certain places. I was frantic ready to cry. Stopped here and Barb was unbelievable the best, told her what I was looking for, and we looked at a few dress, went to try them on, the very first one I put on, I fell in love with. I was so happy I had tears in my eyes. Thank you so much Barb for all your help. Now my special day will be a great day.

Such a lovely experience! Got my wedding dress and couldnt have felt more comfortable. It is a very small store but they make it work. Everyone is incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home, sharing your excitment with you.

This is the 2nd year we went here for a prom dress for my daughter. They always have a great selection of dresses to choose from and the service is top notch. If you are looking for a unique dress, go here. You will not be disappointed. Last year, my daughter snagged a one of a kind dress & this year she did too. The prices are wonderful as well! The staff are very helpful and very friendly. I dont see us going anywhere else for special occasion dresses.

My wife went to White Orchid to find a bridal dress after going Bridal Beginnings, MB, and a few places in NY. After coming home from all the other places, she just wasnt happy with the overall experience. The staff at White Orchid took excellent care of her and when she walked down the aisle, I was completely blown away. She bought a Mon Cheri dress and she looked absolutely amazing. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff for helping her pick out a dress that was breathtaking. We have sent a few of our friends there and they said the same thing. If you want great service and to truly feel like you are being treated like royalty, go to the White Orchid.

I just bought my WEDDING dress here!! And oddly enough, I bought my prom dress there 18 years ago! Its not a fancy shop, but they do have some beautiful things :)

My friend is a beautiful plus size girl. She chose to go to white orchid for her first store when she was ready to go shopping for her wedding dress. we made an appointment and we we all arrived it was like they werent expecting us. So we were brought into the basement to browse at the clearance racks which did not include my friends size. We just stood there and then an older woman with blonde short hair took us back upstairs. My friend told her the exact style she wanted, a ball gown. The first dress they put her in was a mermaid style size 8! Her entire back was exposed, she was so embarrassed. After three dresses that were way too small the designer stormed out of the dressing room and said you are gonna have to go somewhere else for larger dresses so that the whole store could hear. My friend was so embarrassed. It ruined her experience. She was mortified. The take way, they do NOT cater to bigger girls. She should have told us right up front and spared my friends dignity.

I had an AMAZING experience at the White Orchid!! I called at 9:45 asking for a 10:00 appointment and they took me right in. Vonnie is such a wonderful, sweet and knowledgeable woman and bridal consultant who made my dress shopping experience perfect. I was unable to have any family with me due to it being a last minute appointment and my Mom living in Ohio and my sister in Maryland. Vonnie was the perfect stand in as a mother and sister :-) We had so much fun together! After I tried on several dresses that were not exactly my dream dress,although beautiful, in comes Vonnie with a huge smile on her face and a beautiful golden/ivory Maggie Sottero dress in her hands called Karena Royale! I originally passed the dress up earlier in the appointment, but Vonnie being an amazing bridal consultant knew I had to try it on. I could not stop smiling. I must have stood in the dress for an hour smiling. Without hesitation, I said yes to the dress! I honestly cant thank Vonnie and the White Orchid enough for making my experience perfect!
