Don’t laugh when I say that that’s my baby in the picture, and as her mother I over worry a lot with my Honda Passports physical condition. So obviously when I travelled a few hours away from home, and my transmission fluid became low, and I couldn’t shift it out of park without her shutting off, I panicked. The smell was horrid and she was a smokin. Finally, after calling 20 different auto shops local to my hotel, I came across David at AAMCO who told me to bring it by. I can’t thank them enough for their availability last minute before their lunch break. Jake gave me a few minor engine diagnostics and was pretty easy on the eyes. But overall I’m very satisfied with the stress relief they provided for me. I was able to sit back on my three hour trip home with the radio up. Professional and very friendly. Highly recommend
I would highly recommend anyone in the Phoenixville area to have their vehicle repairs done at this location. The owner David made accommodations to squeeze my vehicle in on short notice and completed my repairs in time. He was very communicative throughout the day and kept me in the loop as they worked on my vehicle. I was also really impressed with how polite and cooperative he was.
Curtis helped me tremendously. He did a diagnostic check on my car. Although, he found nothing was wrong, he even took it to the garage to give me reassurance. If I ever need help I will be sure to come back here again.

Earlier this month I took my 2017 Buick Encore to AAMCO Transmissions Phoenixville for an oil change. I was able to make an appointment that worked for my schedule and when I arrived, Dave Martin greeted me at the door and my car was immediately taken in for the oil change. Jake Lynn did the work on my car and even added much needed air to my tires when he noted that they were low. Great price, professional service - what more can you ask for? I will be back for my inspection this summer and look forward to knowing that my vehicle is in good hands!
Took my 2011 Chevy Equinox in, expecting to be told I needed a whole new transmission. After a thorough exam, was told only needed some parts. Still an expensive fix, but had confidence in the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. They kept in contact with me throughout the process, contacted me before replacing an additional part that was faulty, and kept to the timeline given. I am pleased with the overall experience and would recommend this establishment for your transmission needs!

This place is amazing. We had an emergency, we had a nightmare scenario where we noticed transmission fluid leaking AS WE WERE LEAVING FOR VACATION with the boat on the trailer attached to the vehicle. They took a look at it immediately even though they were super busy because we told them the situation we were in. Long story short, we’re currently done with our 5 hour drive, we were able to use the car to tow the trailer with the boat, and I can’t believe how lucky we are. They saved our vacation!! The crew at Aamco serviced my 2017 WRX for state emission and inspection. The service was prompt and scheduling online was a breeze. Recently my Nissan Armada was experiencing intermittent episodes of not wanting to start. This became very upsetting, not knowing each time I attempted to start my car if it was going to turn over or not. I called AAMCO Transmissions of Phoenixville. Took my car here to get an Inspection. David the owner is friendly and was able to get to my inspection done quickly and explained/showed me what parts needed to be replaced in order to pass inspection. I appreciated the transparency and would recommend a friend to come here to get work done on their vehicle.

Knowledgeable and personable staff, and refreshingly thorough diagnosis of strange noises my Subaru was making.Replaced my leaky a/c condenser and some underbody aero panels. Also checked my brakes, rotated tires and got new wipers without charging an arm and a leg.Attention to detail and done right the first time, which is not something I can say of most repairs I have had done over the last few years unfortunately! This is a great place if in Philly and looking for no-BS repairs.

In recent weeks we took both of our vehicles for evaluation of transmission issues. We received clear, informative explanations of what needed to be done, along with written estimates provided via email. David Martins (Owner/Manager) customer service is above and beyond. He took time to research potential warranty qualifications and printed out the information for us, while recommending a dealer in the area that he had an established, trusting relationship with. The team at AAMCO Phoenixville took amazing care of me and my car. With COVID I have been working from home and my car has been sitting more than usual leaving room for rodents in the winter to make their way into my engine bay. Jake, the tech working on my car not only did an oil change but also gave some helpful tips and tricks so my wires etc did not become lunch and dinner for a family of mice. 10/10 recommend. I brought my 1999 Jeep Wrangler in because I could not use reverse and neutral was drive. I brought my Jeep here and couldnt be happier with the results. My transmission shifts like a dream and Im not worried about getting stuck on a trail. David, the owner, sent me tons of photos of the work they were doing to my transmission. They showed the old worn parts that were being replaced which made me feel very confident! Unfortunately my driveshaft was seized (must telescope) and my transmission lines were rotted. Fortunately AAMCO made me some custom lines in house! My driveshaft had to be ordered and it was a decent price. I did find it myself for a lower price, but installing it myself wouldve taken a while. Im glad I brought my Jeep here and Ill most likely be bringing it back for any additional work!

Be very wary. I took my car there on a Monday and was initially told that if I paid a 50% deposit, the transmission would to their shop in 3 days and would take two days to install. I made the deposit and called the next Tuesday to make sure they were on schedule to finish and that the car would be ready to pick up. Not only was the car not ready, the transmission was not yet received. I found this out after returning the rental car. No call to update me on the major change in status.I was then assured it would be there “tomorrow”. Tomorrow came and went several times over the next couple weeks.I finally told them that the transmission needed to be in hand by a specific date or I was having it towed to a dealership (who told me they could have the transmission the next day).Magically, the transmission turned up in their shop the day I said it needed to be (a Friday)...or did it? I later found out that’s what I was told and it was not true. I found this out because the next week when the car still was not done three days after the transmission was supposedly received, I asked when they got it in. They apparently forgot what they told me, because they said “Monday at 11 am”. That is in stark contrast to the Friday morning I was told the week before.The vehicle was finally ready almost four weeks after I took it there. $1500 in rental car fees on top of the transmission price and they made no attempt to make the situation right.To make matters worse, there is now a rattle that is incredibly annoying.I could not be more disappointed with the service.Update (11/12/19) - The owner of the establishment reached out to me and was very understanding and reasonable. He offered to reimburse me for a portion of the rental car fees. I did appreciate this attempt to make right a bad situation.

I hit a pothole right around the corner on rte 23 and blew out my front passenger tire.These folks helped me change my tire at no charge. They are extremely nice folks and truly customer focused.
Had work done on my daughters VW Passat, was told a couple days, they turned into 2 weeks. I got the standard line they shipped the wrong part, but thats what part numbers and model numbers are for. then after getting it back from them drove it for about a week and a half, and had issues, coolant line O-rings were loose (probably should of been replaced but werent) oil started leaking from them. Was stuck on side of road had it towed and fixed at another shop because was 2 hrs. from this Aamco. Talked to Marvin, who cant make a decision or get his boss to do anything, even a call back, told Marvin what happen and was hoping theyd make good on warranty, but its going on almost a year and nothing. Would not recommend this place or there service at all.

Very disappointing, I called on Monday to schedule a State inspection for Friday and today (Thursday 4 pm) they called to tell me they ran out of stickers. That I will need to wait another 3 days, even I mentioned my car was due for this month. Why they couldnt save 1 sticker or even call before?
