Very fast service and very friendly. Rented a 10×20 and love its clean and has 2 doors.

I came to pick up a few small boxes and some packing tape, so I am able to start moving. I was also having a pretty bad morning due to well life. I ended up being helped by Dixie and let me tell you what an absolutely amazing experience and person I got everything I needed and we ended up chatting with each (other which Im pretty sure isnt in her job description). I am so very Thankful for Dixie and her kindness she has just an excellent experience and I recommend this location to EVERYONE...this was my second time in and they just keep getting better each time.Thank you UHAUL and Dixie

I reserved a 10 X 10 unit 48 hours in advance with a verbal phone call from erica at the mcdowell and i17 location with a guarantee of availability along with a trailer rental and when i arrived with belongings in tow i was informed that the unit i reserved 48 hours prior was never VACANT AND THEY ARE AT 100% capacity. So i am infuriated that i wasted 2 and a half hours on my trailer rental to not get a storage unit that i have confirmation emails and verbal assurance was available but when i arrive be told my reservation was and is never a valid unit and have to use a different company for storage. And then get told by uhaul that a 10 by 10 unit is not priced at 109.95 but they charge 175.00 for that unit. Um, that my friends is false advertising. Your board in your office for pricing on units states 109.95 for a 10 X 10 unit along with your online advertising. So WHO IS LYING HERE???? I WILL BE SPEAKING WITH CORPORATE IN PERSON REGARDING THIS INCOMPETENT BLUNDER. I am severely disappointed with the PHOENIX UHAUL STORAGE FACILITIES. I HAVE NEVER ONCE HAD THIS MUCH DISCREPANCIES REGARDING A RESERVATION MADE AHEAD OF TIME FOR SERVICES FROM THIS COMPANY. ON TOP OF THAT ERICA AT I17 AND MCDOWELL LOCATION PROCEEDED TO CALL OUT ME AND MY WIFE AS LIERS REGARDING HER CALL ON JUNE 2ND 2021 REGARDING HER PHONE CALL TO CHECK FOR AVAILABILITY AT THE 2ND ST LOCATION AND VERBALLY STATING TO THE REPRESENTATIVE TO HOLD THE UNIT AND GAURANTEEING A 10 X 10 UNIT AT THAT LOCATION FOR ME N MY WIFE. SHE CLAIMS THAT NEVER OCCURED. THIS IS VERY SLY AND TRICKERY. AND I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO THE MAIN CORPORATE OFFICE IN PERSON. PRICE GOUGING AND LYING ON AVAILABLE UNITS, NOT ONLY ILLEGAL BUT A DISTASTEFUL EXPERIENCE ALL IN ALL. TO BAD THEY DO NOT HAVE A 0 STAR BUTTON CAUSE THAT IS WHAT I WOULD RATE THIS EXPERIENCE.

I set up a rental online after attempting to reach several U-haul locations by phone (none of them answered after long waits). When I arrived at this location, they informed me my rental was at 10:30 PM rather than AM... something that the website had not included. The woman working there attempted to assist me by transferring my rental to another location instead.I drove to the other location (which I had also tried calling without success) to pick up my rental. When I arrived, they could neither find my reservation nor did they have any of the three trucks listed as available around. I wasted an hour of my time bouncing around these places only to rent at Enterprise instead.

Its mad creepy. Its just a storage facility, even if it looks like a massive wet room.No reason not to do your storage there. Easy access to docking bays, if you got a big enough truck.I like it.

Stored my things here for two months. Sir conditioned unit. Very nice. The cats were such a great help. Linda was amazing and get helpful when I rented the truck to empty the unit. Cant beat the price.

Very friendly staff! They have a loading dock here. Also have a free area where you can leave things you dont want for others!!

Bad service and poor communication

I have to give U-Haul five stars 😲 which most people would say Im crazy 🤪and usually i would agree. I even used to work for U-Haul sometime in the past🤫. But I had rented out a storage which I fell behind on when this pandemic hit🤢. I used it to store some pretty high ticket equipment I use for my sound Studio and my computer repair🤮. Due to situations I was forced to abandon the storage and the investments within it running in thousands 😢. Months further went by and I chalked it up to a complete loss💸. Then out of the blue one day a U-Haul representative contacted me and offered to give me one day to clear out my storage🤔. My first thought was this has to be some cruel joke🤡. I even cringed when I finally pulled up to the building 🤞and to my surprise it was no hoax. It was a blessing 😇 to get my investment and equipment back. Thank you U haul

The place is pretty clean inside. Temp controlled. The donate spot is great in case you come across something you have, and realize you dont want anymore. The area does get pretty busy during a Diamondbacks game, so getting in and out can be a chore.

Facilities are rather modern and clean. All indoor storage. Extreme little parking available at this location, but there large loading docks and one ramped entrance makes leading and unloading more convenient than otherwise.My experiences with the staff have all been positive, no complaints there.All in all, I like the place and would recommend it.

Awesome staff Reynaldo helped me out. He explained everything to me and answered all the questions I had. It was my first time renting with U-Hual and made it nice and easy.

Affordable, clean, plenty of carts, dollies, & even a mattress cart available at no extra charge to help move my stuff in & out. Never too busy when I was there. Great security system so I felt my stuff & I were safe. Jose, the attendant was smart, friendly & helpful.

Ive had a storage unit here for many years. Great customer service and a friendly staff. Security of the building is superb. Id highly recommend this UHaul location for your storage or moving needs.

Over priced. Employees seem stressed and scared of higher ups. Facility is clean and secure thats why I did not go lower than a 3. Cost is too much.

I rented a appliance dolly put a fridge on it wouldnt move the wheels needed oil so didnt use it they said I would give me a refund never got it u hall lies to people watch out

To rent a uhaul truck is very fast and easy

Completely upset! I made a reservation here since it was literally down the street from my apartment. The morning of the pick up, I was rescheduled to a U-haul location across town (mind you, Im only reserving a van). I figured I mention the $50 guarantee refund U-haul had on their website if they have to move your reservation and pretty much the manager Rolan told me that technically I didnt qualify for it because I made my reservation the night before pick up. I dont know, I personally feel they are wrong for promising reimbursement for rescheduling your truck/ van, but when they reschedule you they renag on their guarantee. Yall some fraudy people. False advertising!

There was only one guy working so we had to wait for some time. When he did finally get to us he was great

Horrible customer service. 4 years ago I was moving from 40th St and Thurderbird in North Phoenix. I rented a Uhaul truck. I was loyal to UHaul having a friends that worked at UHaul. Me and my teenage son took 4 days loading the truck as I became ill with a cold and temperature and totally lost my voice. Each day I called and told them what was going on. I offered to bring more cash and was told to deal with it later. While finally driving to my destination in Tempe, AZ the manager, (by his voice a black person) called me several times and yelled and screamed at me about taking so long with the truck. He threatened to call the police on me, he told me that I had needed to come back and make another contract, I told him that I had done what was told to me when I called, and I called each morning.I brought the truck back after hours after unloading with a friend who took me to where my vehicle was parked because I was told that I couldnt leave it in the yard. I never heard back from them, was not contacted about additional charges. It was just put on my credit report. Two years later I went to rent a truck again and was dropped off at the North Tempe store after making arrangements to rent and was told that I could not rent unless I paid $250.00 and some muscle bound man, bouncer type came forward to make sure I didnt make any physical threats. Me an overweight woman in my 50s.I recently rented from Penske, we again took longer to load, due to other circumstances, what a HUGE difference in customer relations. They treated me professionally, they worked with me, and I was a satisfied customer. I will rent from Penske again.

Very clean. I just wish they prorated their fees. I used this facility for 5 months and even though I only needed one week of the final month, I had to pay for the entire month.

Requires far too much verification to rent a simple storage shed for vehicle.

From the premier in moving, uhaul has seemed to be complacent at most locations, with a few that are not company owned that go the extra mile.
