A true one stop shop. I used this location moving to the valley from Prescott years back and am now building a small business. The staff and units at this location have been second to none in getting what I needed. The GM and managers are go-getters. I wanted a one-hundred square foot locker (which was not available) and had to buy two separate lockers (50 sq/ft a piece). I was given a huge discount to make the cost of the two lockers equivalent. They also keep a list of those who require upgrades. Their customer service is very attentive and I have never had a billing issue. You get the lower costs (in line with the area’s lower property values), but none of the quality is sacrificed.A lot of the negative reviews seem to be the result of unreasonable expectations. They handle property and vehicle rentals. It isn’t a McDonald’s drive through. It can take time to perform these sorts of transactions and it must be done thoroughly to protect you and them. All I want is the service, without all the fake corporate smiles and psychobabble. That’s what they give.Five stars.
If you are looking for affordable storage look no further than U-Haul I got a great price online easy online registration. Climate control, friendly helpful staff.
The manager at the location was very nice and informative, however, as far as I know, it’s beyond her control, Extra money was taken from my Debit Card! I’m not happy with that part of the service because it was a huge inconvenience, leaving me WITHOUT gas for my own car! I was told that the truck I rented would be a total of $86 & change, then I was told that my total is an even $100, which I was ok with. AFTER I swiped my card in the terminal, the screen read $160! Now I’m broke AND you’re making me wait 3-5 business days to refund my money! That is deceitful, misleading, greedy, and horrible business! These times are already challenging and UHAUL pulls extra funds from people who are already struggling! I WON’T be using UHAUL in the future!
The only reason they get one star is because of Joshua and Andres! They are customer friendly! Now my experience with Wendy and Natalie was absolutely the worst customer service Ive had in my life. I work in Customer service and the first thing they tell you is NEVER cut a customer off and LISTEN first to hear what the problem is..... Im so glad their calls are recorded because I sware if I was their boss I would make them take classes in customer service. I just couldnt believe how rude they were when I was calling in to just understand what I was being charged for days later from returning the truck I rented. Its literally 3 days later and my account was over drafted. Im in shock that Natalie is the manager and couldnt even hear me out before getting an attitude and she hung up on me. I was not cursing nor was I disrespectful. My move is already stressful enough and to deal with ppl like that makes it more stressful. I will probably never use this location again.I am reporting the calls to their cooperate office because nobody should deal with ppl like that under any circumstances.

This place needs new staff well trained, Maria and Mgr Michael does not have customer service at all, I rented a truck and just handed me the keys to go look for it on the lot, after trying the key on different trucks, I found the one I was renting, came to find out the tier pressure light was on on dashboard because it had a nail on the front drivers side tier. They should not be working with customers at all.
Michael Curry has become a great friend. We use u-haul equipment every week and if we arent picking up a truck here then Curry or Mrs White are reserving now at a different location that is closer to our move. Cheers to the u-haul family I used to book one way in towers on central 20 years ago!
This location is short staffed. The staff they do have are extremely helpful. The one thing that made me move my stuff from this location is the fact that rent storage units.to homeless people and those people think its there house. You cant get down the isles because they have their stuff all over the place an as you cant get past them and they get rude when u ask them to move their trash.
U Haul was the best thing about my move.
Rented a 26 ft uhaul, JH 4935 K and was by far the worst truck Ive rented from u haul. Dont use this truck! Gas was just unreal with this truck, $20 to go maybe 30 miles. Then, because the truck wasnt left at the mark that it wasnt given to me I was charged another $40 for the service fee Im guessing. They told me I had over a 1/4 tank got in the truck started it and it was under a 1/4. 4th line from empty. I drove 10 miles and the meter dropped 2 lines from E. Also the trucks rear driver side brake light wasnt working, the license plate light came on and off, the box light didnt turn on, and the battery needed jumped so I could get it back to the u haul cause when I went to start it, all it did was click. So for $100 Id just find another u haul close to the area or get a newer truck. I use u haul all the time to move people and never have driven a truck this bad from them.
I have nothing positive to say about Uhaul AT ALL. After reserving my ubox weeks in advance, it wasnt delivered and there wasnt a single available ubox in the valley, except for at this location. I was told I would have to rent a truck and trailer from uhaul to pick up the ubox myself, but when I arrived to do so there was nobody there who could assist me. I finally got my ubox delivered, 10 hours after I was supposed to have left for my move. As a result I had to change travel plans, get new hotel reservations (the original ones were non-refundable), etc. It took WEEKS and me threatening to get a lawyer involved for me to finally get in touch with someone at Uhaul who would help me. If I could give 0 stars I would.
My first impression of this place was good. I had reserved a 10x10 unit online the previous night. When I went in to claim my unit, they didnt have one for me, and said its a first come first serve basis. I was livid, if I knew that I would have looked elsewhere. Then they gave me another unit ...smaller but ok for now. And now, Ive lost my entrance access card. I called 1800UHAUL and the lady said she couldnt do nothing for me! Wth? Im mad again.. they need to generate a code at the door for us.
Absolutely horrible customer service minus one girl who had to greet me. Service was transferred to another store, they lied as to the reason, I never said that was a convenient location but needed the wiring done. Dropped off in the morning, said it would be done by 2 or 3, came back at 4, still had to wait another two hours. They didn’t latch my hood, left a wrench on my engine, and my lights still didn’t work. Nobody cares, nobody answers the phone, will never recommend

Dont know if all Uhauls are the same but this one doesnt respect reservation. I reserved a truck days ahead for 11am then on the day i was picking it up they called and told me they moved my pickup time to 2pm. I you RESERVE a truck a specific time is because you need it for that time!!! Not when they feel like it. I wasnt able to pick it up because the place I needed to go to pick-up my stuff closes at 3. So there you have it.

The staff need to learn to take better care of the equipment and not make the customer feel like he/she is being blown off when explaining all that was wrong with the rental upon day of return. I was not very happy with how I felt when I left this location.
Did not catch his name, but the rep at this location chose to handle personal phone business, while handling my pickup order. And because of this, he did not put the correct requested return time, which resulted in my being overcharged for the U-Haul truck. Lesson learned:Even though were living in the age of Covid-19, never make any assumptions, and never be in too much of a hurry to be out of the store, without checking all the paperwork to ensure that you have the correct returning time for the equipment.
The truck was easy to reserve and rent, but the customer service was definitely lacking.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. WE WERE ATTENDED BY MASON. HE IS VERY CURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING, WE WERE SUPPOSED TO RETURN THE TRUCK BY A CERTAIN TIME WHICH WE WERE A FEW MINUTES LATE DUE TO THE TRAIN PASSING THROUGH. UNLIKE THE STORAGE PLACE IAM RENTING FROM (NOT UHAUL)THAT YELLED AT US FOR BEING 3 MINUTES LATE GETTING OUT. WE HAD LOST TRACK OF TIME THEN OUR STUFF DIDNT FIT SO I ASKED ABOUT RENTING A SECOND UNIT. THE PRICE WAS OUTRAGEOUSLY INCREASED BY 40 DOLLARS ON A 5×10. SO HAD I KNOWN UHUAL ALSO RENTED STORAGE UNITS I WOULDVE RENTED FROM UHAUL.
This location has great customer service. I highly recommend this location. We will use them again.
My account was charged without my permission after paying the truck fee and the holding fee. They overdrew my account and I have still not received my money back after 5 days. the customer service was not helpful at all.
I have had my storage here for about 1 year and they have always worked with me.... Great staff and they keep their place cleaned up... Michael the manager is awesome too

A 1/2 star would be appropriate. They fail to tell you that they have the right to cut the lock AND open ANY locker pre-auction for their convenience. Their convenience will triple the price of the unit when they are done........TRIPLE! Do you really want to pay triple????????

The truck was delivered to me filthy dirty. I asked them to please stop surfing the internet long enough to at least clean the windshield so I could safely drive. They werent happy, but one of them did come out and clean it. I returned the truck one day early and 1617 miles less than I paid for in advance. They offered no refund or explanation at all. Im seeking a partial refund. Its only right!
Had an appointment at 3pm to install a trailer hitch on my SUV. Waited from 3pm to 4:45pm, but they still had not even started the installation process. I had somewhere to be at 5:15pm and scheduled my appointment at 3pm thinking that 2 hours would be more than enough time to install a trailer hitch. Apparently not for this place. I requested a refund at 4:45pm and left to go to my appointment. I would recommend anywhere else for equipment installation.
After renting a truck from this location we notated that the lock was cut & the inside was filthy with old food. Driving it was a nightmare due to the steering being off. When night fell we found out the light didn’t work so it took several more hours than it should have because we had to pack in the dark. When I tried calling the location the next day to get a few more hours added I kept getting sent to CS for 3 hours. CS sent messages to the store to call me they never did. I ended up having to call the corporate office. She got the GM on the phone, he extended it by a few hours but when I asked for a discount he said extending the time was more or less a discount. Um no it’s not. I wouldn’t have needed the extra time if I could have packed properly with a light to see.
The employees at this store are really good at their jobs. I received swift, professional service. The equipment i rented was in great working order, everything worked like it was supposed to and it was all exceptionally clean. Id recommend this location over all the other locations Ive ever been to. And Ive been to a lot. Keep up the good work 721071!
We showed up and they didnt have the 15ft truck we had reserved. After about 30min of trying to figure out a solution, we had to drive 4 miles away to get a 20ft truck. All in all we lost about 1.5h dealing with this, which put our move behind, and made things difficult for meeting up with the people who were helping us.The person who helped us was really nice and helpful, and gave us a discount. Its just unfortunate that the mix up messed with our plans.
Cant say enough about this place. Christopher is a great help the truck and vans Ive used are always clean and well maintained. Easy to get what you need when you need it. They have all the extra stuff you might need for your job but they dont pressure you to get anything
Great customer service. Really was. The only problem I had was when they tried to charge me twice for the one time service. I called them to see what was going on but could not provide an explanation why they were charging me again on a different date. I had to call my bank and dispute the second transaction. It over drew my account. Not cool. Broke my confidence in them, and will not use u-haul again.
Was at this location this morning to rent a trailer like many times before, but the lady at the desk was ignorant and didn’t know her job. I felt I was being racially profiled. I am a business owner and rent from Uhaul often. After my experience today I will be looking elsewhere to rent trailers.
Extremely disappointed in this location. They have a new system where you take photos of everything yourself. We took photos of speedometer and miles thinking thats all that we needed to do. However there was a scratch on the tailgate located right above the tailgate which of course made it hard to see. If you miss something when youre taking photos they do charge you I was charged over $70. I literally rented the truck to move some small boxes a few miles down the road. you couldnt even tell I had use any gas. With that being said I still added more gas to it because it was the right thing to do. and Im still being charged for this. this is ridiculous and completely professional. Make sure you take a photo of every single angle of the vehicle or you will pay for someone elses mistakes.

The location is not the greatest but the staff is cool but the homeless guy rolling through the building is not cool. The Max security is a joke the sliding door opens up for anyone. So really how secure is my stuff if random people are wondering around the place asking if TVs left behind work? That’s what happened when I was there this guy clearly did not have a storage unit there asking me “hey do you know if those TVs left behind work” I’m like I don’t know. So he takes one over to a outlet and plugs it in to see if it worked. I asked out of curiosity did he have a u it there and he said nope. So the employee that helped me with my unit comes by on a uhaul bike (the place is big to walk) and he doesn’t say anything to him really. But my point is around that area are a lot of homeless people around there and the security of the building isn’t the greatest but in the end of it yes when my storage unit is locked I don’t have to worry about my stuff but when I’m there putting stuff in or out I have to watch my unit to make sure nobody is going through my stuff.

Went to put a few things into my storage on Saturday morning and could not get in any door. So I push the button for assistance (calls the girls in the office) I get hung up on several times then when she finally answer she screams into the phone, come to the front and hangs up on me before I could say anything.The security codes not working on the doors should not cause the staff to get attitude with paying customers . it really is not that big of a deal for all the drama and attitude that came out of the office that morning.All of the lack of customer service skills falls back on management and on Uhaul. Train your employees or loose customers.

Glitch in the system or human error cost me 3 men half a day lobor cost and a whole day on a 2 or 3 hour move.Somehow debit my account but showed declined it took 3 hours and alot of phone calls to get it strightend out.Uhaul is a great company and will use them again might suggest looking at personal tranning becouse the gantalmen there were clueless and unable to help in any way.And i suffered the cost of there mistake.
This was a nightmare for a first user I couldnt use the trailer so I wanted to Return it but nothing shows u how so I tried to call and guess what NO ONE ANSWERED I KNOW SHOCKER RIGHT.

Picked up a uhaul today @930 am 11/30/2018 truck was on empty tank and the back of the truck smelled like weed seriously mad that I had to put air freshners and instantly had to put gas in.Update 12/04/2018General manager got back to me and fixed the issues Uhaul customer service on the phone was very helpful and understood my frustration. Thanks for correcting the issues I hope the emoloyees do a better job next time at inspecting the vehicles before renting them out in the future.
Was just there today and my key card wasnt working went inside to talk to someone about it and no one was there waited 10-15 mins and still no one they really hard poor service today and its a great way to get your stuff stolen

They over charged my by over $100!!! First they charged me 102.38 which included extra 19 saying I didnt return the right amount of gas. Then I sent them a picture and proved I returned it at the right amount and they said they would reimburse me. Then they returned the 19 but charged my card again for 84.58 which was the original hold price! This also charged me 2 $35 over draft fees. I am so upset. This is ridiculous and they need to get it together. I will NEVER use uhaul again!!
Called first and was told I could rent up to a 15 inch with cash but when in store they said I could only rent a certain one but were helpful enough to do the same payment as the other we originally wanted. NOW ONE THING THEY DONT TELL YOU IS THAT IF YOUR STAYING IN THE AREA THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET UNLIMITED MILEAGE ON WHAT YOU RENT. At first we put a $100 cash deposit down when we went to rent, put roughly almost 200 miles on it which added up to another 100 we would end up having to pay later on. I had gotten into my first car accident in the Uhal and was SO glad that we had gotten the insurance on it. We returned it and I didnt know how things would go seeing as I didnt have enough yo pay in full since I had to fill the tank back to where it was and pay them what I could but they were nice enough to tell me not to worry, that it would be put on a promissory note and I wouldnt be able to rent another uhal until that was paid off which was perfectly fine in my book so over all I was more then content with my experience here.**Update!** 11/23/2018Had to rent a uhaul for a day again and went to pay off the last of what i owed. Some random person in the middle of the night took a mirror off so yet again im glad for buying the insurance. This time i yet again didnt have alot to give them so i was expecting a 200 promissory note but they charged my fiances card more then he had on it and even after asking many times for them not to charge his card, my last experience with them is not a happy one.
Because i am biased i thought the employees where going to be racist but i was wrong. they are great people here and they treT you with great customer service

Terrible! We had an appointment to have a hitch installed at 7A.M., my daughter showed up and was the first person there. She dropped the van off and went to a Carls Jr. to wait, she went back two hours later to check on the progress and they hadnt even started working on it (probably forgot). The guy told her they were really busy cleaning trucks and she said then why did I make an appointment. He never even apologized just gave her the keys back.
Did a last min uhaul at 6:40pm and they helped me thx u guys for being so nice and friendly..

As soon you have the truck or few hours will call your bring the truck because someone rented it.In Uhaul policy it says anytime you want to extend just call us but in this location they will call you bring the truck or will change you cancelation fee of the person who will rent the truck after you bring it. Totally scammers and cheaters.

Made a reservation for a tow dolly the day before to make sure it’ll be ready because I had a car I needed to tow, came in on time to pick it up ans they tell me they don’t even have one available. What was the point of reserving it then. They wanted to send me to another location that was out of the way and far. Very disappointed .

It was nice using the truck but they always seem to get away with a little bit of extra money by charges that come out of nowhere supposed to be fixing it but it hasnt yet charging my dad $170 when it only comes up to 111 dollars they put it in two payments 101 and 68 something so they think we dont know but we are going to get them Im call for unprofessional and Bs I said theyre going to fix it they havent yet so when you go somewhere like that make sure you always check out your receipts and what are you paying for because theres charges that you wouldnt even believe they charge for
