Fantastic museum . Both the collections and the grounds are amazing. Great museum shop. I’m a nice area of uptown Phoenix with ample parking space. Absolutely need to visit the boarding school exhibition!

The arts and crafts available at the Heard Museum Shop are breathtaking. Each item is distinctive and full of character. I’ve purchased a number of items from this shop in the last 3 years and have never been disappointed.

Best of the southwest! Love this place n what they stand for! Representing our nations 1st people and their historys. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable! Dont think for a second that this is a typical museum gift shop full of overpriced tchotchkes that youll toss out as soon as you get home: no, its an emporium of rugs, baskets and jewelry that is sourced from local artisans. Beautiful things that will be an investment and a lasting joy.

Fabulous museum wish we had more time there, but we thoroughly enjoyed what we did see, and the gift shop and courtyard restaurant were very nice.

We recently lost a very dear/sentimental Carol Suina storyteller doll that was extremely hard to find (single child- trust me, they are not a dime a dozen). I checked the Heard Museum online store & they had other pieces by the artist, but not the storyteller I was looking for, so I emailed them. Within 24 hours they tracked down another one in a similar style by an artist from the same tribe. when I sent that e-mail it was a total shot in the dark & I figured Id be SOL. Jewel went out of her way to find a piece she thought I would like.... & she was totally right.AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE & KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. if I could give 6 stars, I would!

I like to go to the museum for the exhibitions they have about the natives of the area, this time I went to see the exhibition by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, which is very good, but in general the museum does not fill me so much (maybe it is because of the feeling of history and perspective with which I see things) but it has very good exhibitions.
