Pros: Very friendly staff, and a very organized and clean store. I was impressed by how nicely items like toys, handbags, and scarves were hung so you could actually see them. I tend to shop more at goodwill than savers, where all the smaller items are just thrown haphazardly into bins and shelves so I appreciated how nicely everything was displayed here. It’s also a huge store with many items and everything was broken down into nicely arranged categories.Cons: the one thing I wish they would take as inspiration from goodwill would be color sorting clothing. It’s a little easier to find what you’re looking for when all the black shirts are together, all the red dresses etc.Also their pricing is all over the place. I found a nice new blouse for $5 and then looked through the plain T-shirts and found just a black t that was priced at $15! If I wanted to pay that I would buy new. There was no consistent pricing and just ruffling through the shirts you’d find a $3, then a $10, then a $7, an $8 and a $5, and there was nothing to distinguish the quality of the item from each other or determine why one cost more than another. Some were just way overpriced. It was hard to know what to expect. Would nix some of the higher prices for each category of clothing and try to price more consistently. That said, I still found a few steals, it was just a lot of digging through overpriced items.

This location used to be my favorite thrift store in Phoenix. I just left and they have raised their prices so much, that even on a half off day, it would still be expensive. I found 1 good deal, but in the past I used to be able to fill a whole cart. Example- charging $29.99 for BCBG track pants. You can get them brand new at ROSS for $19.99. $14.99 for a used calvin Klein belt??? That brand is not even expensive in Macys anymore. And you are out of your minds if you think ANYONE is going to pay $16.99 for a used Victorias Secret bra. You can get them new at the semi-annual sales in Victorias Secret stores for $14.99. Did you forget that the items you are selling are USED?? You are going to lose money. Plus we are in the middle of a pandemic. Some people rely on thrift stores for better deals. Unbelievable.Update**** since I posted this a couple of months ago, they have raised prices yet again. USED Victorias Secret bras have went from $16.99 to $19.99!!! Utterly RIDICULOUS. No wonder their racks are so packed that you cant even look at anything.And a 3rd update. USED bras are now $24.99!!!! I kid you not. This is insanity.

Used to really like this place now that they have chosen to spend the money earned from donations on eliminating human cashiers and replaced with completely unreliable self checkout machines. I went up to the register with 8 paperback books that wouldnt scan because of how the labels were and was told well if it wont scan, pointing to these tiny numbers on the label, you can type these 6 digits on each one and itll go fine. That was after waiting a long time for someone to come over and reset it because it locked up when I entered my rewards phone number. Well so much for this place Ill be taking my business and my donations elsewhere.

This was my first time shopping at savers. I found alot of really cool collectables and home decor items. You never know what kinda of awesome stuff you can find in a high volume thrift store like this.They definitely offer Great deals, however in comparison to other donation based thrift stores the prices for even damaged goods are slightly higher, but still below retail.

I havent been in savers in awhile until recently i cant believe how expensive they are i wonder if they forgot their a thrift store.

Busy Monday for half off everything. I had a return for credit. It was handled quickly and efficiently. They take your receipt, tape it to the return, then when your done with your new exchange upon checking out you tell the cashier your name and that you have a credit. The cashier then goes and finds your return. A manager has to approve the credit. So a bit of a process, however as this Monday was extremely busy my experience was timely and efficient. 5 Stars for all staff I encountered today.

When you walk in this store, the first thing that is a real turn off is that there is a really strong bad odor. I looked around and they has 50% off certain colored tags but pretty much, there wasn’t anything (or much of) that was those colored tags! I figured that that’s why they had so many rows and rows of stuff that looked really old and looked like it hadn’t moved in a long while. Went to the other store in Scottsdale and it was much better- fresher inventory and not so packed shelves/ aisles.

I like savers. Its like Goodwill. I got some nice stuff for my home for less. I wouldnt mind shopping there again for home decorations and odd items that can be used.

Having a clean, well organized store makes my shopping experience above the norm.I was impressed with this Savers. Not only was it well-stocked, but it was tidy and clean. I especially liked not having to track down an attendant to open up a dressing room when I wanted to try on some clothing. They must have just about everything you can think of and its a big store. Bring a donation and get a discount coupon as well...Have fun!

I cant say enough good things about this store! The employees are all great but one that stands out above the rest is this guy named Tom. I recently came through looking at electronics and noticed how organized and well put-together suddenly was, I asked Tom about it and he mentioned he had been recently working that section of the store. Now finding great serviceable tech with plenty of life in it has been super easy! A+ work from Savers as a whole, but Tom is an absolute gem!

Go here often. Have always felt prices were too high, until 1/2 price Mondays. Very disappointed in New pricing for bell and 35th location. Pandemic did not close your store...still lots of shoppers. We buy lots of toys...and clothes. Who are your customers?? Sure not the needy. $30 jeans that had holes. Black and Decker toy work station, broken tray, no toy tools...have paid $6-8 in past.....yesterdays price was $24.00. Even on Mondays that is way over priced. Raising prices again to cover last years losses on the backs of your customers....hmmmm wonder if that will work for you??

You must not want to make money closing the store 20-30 mins early on your busiest shopping day.

They have no dressing rooms and they also have a no return policy that is not on their receipt. The selection was not that great anyways which is why I was returning all the clothes that didnt fit. Definitely wont be coming back to this joint again.

Do not give even exchanges or store credit, beware... was only one cashier working, others were roaming around like showpieces on busy monday.

Been shopping at savers for years... this location is not doing so hot. Can one even call this a thrift store? I see used tore up jeans going for 10.99 and they had an old broken he-man going for 99.00?!?! Lets be honest...that is absurd.

Other than coming across rude customers from time to time (it takes less effort to say excuse me than to tap your foot and roll your eyes impatiently) the store itself is great.The prices are somewhat reasonable (but I only shop on discount days anyhow), the door greeters and security gaurds are always kind + professional, and the cashiers, for the most part, are friendly.Ive only had 1 unpleasant cashier experience so far in the 10-15 times Ive been there.

One of my favorite large second hand stores. Everything is nicely placed and organized unlike at goodwill which tends to be a little more chaotic. Its easy to find great items in a reasonable timeframe.

They have a lot of nice clothes but they are pretty expensive for being second hand and some stuff was stained pretty bad yet they still wanted a lot for the items.

Not crowded. Masks required though there was a family of 3 shopping without masks. Carts are sanitized for you. Cashier was super friendly.

I used to go pick through the racks when I was bored but havent in quite a while due to covid. Not sure what changed in the past year but everything was waayy overpriced on my last visit (Jan 2021) The average dress used to be like 8 bucks and now its 15. Ill still go to kill time but will just go to TJ Maxx if Im gonna spend 15.

Always find great bargains for myself, grandkids and home decor. Mondays are busy because everything is half price. Tues seniors get 30%off. Other days it goes 50% off on certain color tags that change weekly.

Went is last week to buy some around the house clothes. Had a shopping cart load, ask worker to open dressing room for me. He stated they were closed but I had two weeks to return them for a refund due to covid 19. Spent over 200 dollars, two items didnt fit, so I went to return them for a refund. Worker was RUDE saying she wasnt going to give me my money back, only an exchange. I saw the worker who told me I could get a refund, but refused to allow me to speak to her. Instead some other RUDE LIAR stared he was the manager, hes not. But said company policy is exchange only. He stated it says that on your receipt no matter what an employee says. I tried to explain that the receipt was given AFTER YOU TOOK MY MONEY! I never had a return there before, but I was always allowed to try it on. Law states you must clearly post return policy!!!!!! Called corporate to file a complaint, will see how that goes!!!

They had a good selection to look through for both my husband and myself. They were packed, because of Halloween on top of a 50% off sale - but it was quite organized. The clothes rack were pretty neat, and there was even a divider belt to keep an organized line for the fitting rooms. I even had a pleasant experience with all of the staff I interacted with - overall a great experience!

They do a good job of keeping the place stocked throughout the day. Isles can be a tight fit with my stroller or a cart, but its manageable. Over all in my experience people are friendly and helpful there

I walk to SAVERS from Thunderbird/35th Ave, to get to savers. I save my $ for SAVERS than using on a bus fare to SAVERS. Great deals! I enjoy the 50% off deal. I save with SAVERS!!!!

Savers use to be great. But they way over charge for used clothing that they get FREE!!! I get that they need to make money ...its business. But seriously their prices have gotten ridiculously high! I actually found a pair of shorts I liked but the price was HIGHER than the store tag that was still attached. A lot of things they have I can go buy at Wal-Mart brand new for the same price or lower.

Parking can be tricky due to location and time of day because its a really busy store. Store was well stocked has lots to choose from. It was neat, clean and organized. Associates were pleasant and helpful. Prices seemed a little high considering its a second hand store, but thats just my opinion (we all know what opinions are like....... right?).

I donated a ton of stuff and received a card for 30% off my entire purchase! On Mondays the whole store is half off, this is true for all of their locations I believe. This location is always well organized, staff is helpful and friendly too. When I went in October they had aisles and aisles of Halloween costumes. Definitely the go-to place for a costume. Sooooo much cheaper than the big Halloween chain stores. I always find something I have to have when I go to this store.

When it comes to mens shirts...found some awesome name brands...high end brands. This is the perfect place to shop clothes when you are going down two to three sizes. Go during certain days for half off specials.

I love second hand shopping. Been doing it forever. Savers USED TO BE a fun place to find something unique every now and then. These days, I think you are better off going to Goodwill or Buffalo Exchange. Over the course of about 2 years, their prices have almost tripled.

This location is amazing. Everything is in place. Theres a lot of people organizing the store and they are very friendly and tentative. I love that they have sales every day on top of the already low prices. Check for the color of the day to get 50% off the tag price. They also have senior thursday and many more sales.

Unreasonable prices, they’re selling items at expensive prices just for the brand. These items are donated for people that can’t afford high prices. The prices used to be so much more affordable an now they aren’t.

Don’t purchase anything large! They have a 24 hour hold policy for returning to pick up large furniture. Pre-paid of course. Husband and I bought a large coffee table and when we came back to pick it up a few hours THEY HAD SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!! And they didn’t even offer to amend the situation! Just avoid all together.

This is the busiest savers store in AZ, which is nice because the stock turnover is good. most stuff is priced fairly. store is clean and well lit in some weird inversion of thrift store tradition that im not real upset about.

Prices are a bit higher here than other second hand stores Ive been in. With that being said, the quality of most items is pretty good. Last, but not least, it would be really great if this type of store could or would invest in something to freshen the air in their shopping environment. The musty smell actually causes headaches for many people especially those with allergies.

This Savers tends to get picked over pretty quickly due to its locale. So if youre willing to spend some time here, you can usually walk away with a good bargain. On bigger sale dates, simply plan on arriving earlier than later as the day progresses it turns into a mess! Employees are friendly, for the most part.

I love this Store...I have found so many Wonderful Treasures there!!!
